Do NOT take a phone estimate require a face to face estimate only their phone estimates mean nothing / also a 26 ft truck does not mean 26 ft of space to load. More like 20-22!

My worse move experience in my lifetime!

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $8350

My move left me with two badly damaged pieces of furniture. The claim resolution they offered was $150 based upon a weight scale they use in-house. They refused to come to my home and see the furniture and told me I should consider the $150 as a gift. I was repeatedly lied to and misled. I requested and was willing to pay for additional movers (they only sent two) but was told they could handle it. Overall, I was spoken to in a condescending manner, was blatantly lied to when I brought up past communication and quotes from the adjuster and experienced some of the worst customer service I have ever received. If I had wanted my furniture to be trashed, I would have taken it to the dump myself and not paid to have it moved. Same result but cheaper!

I am 70 years old and this was undoubtedly the worst moving experience of my life! I’ve had a heart attack and can’t lift heavy loads so I hired this company and two trucks with eight people to do the move for me. Not only did they break and damage most of my furniture, glass items, my sewing machine, the extension hinges on my dresser, but they also stole some items which I can’t prove so I can’t claim and they did not put the boxes and furniture into the rooms that were designated. Therefore, I’ve had to hire other people to come and do the job properly. They also left another trailer full of items and I had to hire another crew and truck for that. They charged me $5300 to do this horrific job and to move literally 15 minutes away. When I tried to get management to take a look at the results of the move, they weren’t interested – not even for quality control purposes. I then contacted corporate and they were more rude. They started calling me “Karen“ in a very disrespectful manner and then told me they were going to hang up on me because they weren’t going to talk about the job. When I called back, they left me on hold for 30 minutes and then went home. All of this because I left a bad review on Google. They deserve far worse than a bad review and I am considering a lawsuit.

I was moving from one location in Beverly to another and it was was a townhouse I was moving from. We let them know all of our big items and belongings ahead of time. They quoted us about 2500. They ended up taking 12 hrs to complete the move, damaged about 5 or 6 items and charged us 3900. We have tried to get reimbursed for the damages and the time they took but they tried to tell us we should have gotten extra insurance if we wanted our belongings covered! Insane. Why would I think I need extra insurance to not have my belongings damaged when I am hiring and paying a lot of money for someone to move my stuff?!

NEVER use this company ! Horrible experience overall!

I had an antique mirror of my mother's, a step stool and a tote of bathroom items not show up on the move in date. The next day I called and have been calling and been given the runaround on phone on emails, and through texts. No one responds. They are either out of town or waiting to ask the moving men. I want to file the claim but service department keeps disconnecting my calls. I have been cordial and nice but I paid 10000 for a move into another state, and still no response back from them except the dispatcher in Tampa named Kim. This company does not follow its protocol nor standards it claims.

I hired All My Sons Moving & Storage – Dallas (DAL 2607; Move ID 12001671; Customer No: 12115444) for my son's move, expecting a straightforward process based on their initial quote. Unfortunately, my experience was far from smooth.

The company quoted 209 dollars per hour for three movers, estimating a three-hour move—which is exactly how long the move took. However, when the movers were finished, the invoice had ballooned to over 2,000 dollars, with no clear explanation for the drastic increase. To make matters worse, they refused to unload our belongings until payment was made in cash or via credit card.

Communication was another major issue. Two of the movers did not speak English, and the third had limited proficiency, making effective communication nearly impossible. When my daughter-in-law specifically requested that a box containing her medication not be moved, the mover disregarded her request and took it to the truck anyway.

Adding to the frustration, when we agreed to pay the inflated invoice, we were told a manager would have to collect the payment in person. We were forced to wait an additional hour for the manager to arrive—only to be charged 175 dollars for that wasted hour.

While packing, the movers made numerous rude and disparaging remarks in Spanish, assuming we wouldn’t understand. However, my daughter-in-law, who is a teacher and understands Spanish due to her work with many Spanish-speaking students, was able to understand everything they said. Their disrespectful comments only added to an already frustrating experience.

Overall, this experience was disappointing and stressful. The lack of transparency, poor communication, and questionable billing practices turned what should have been a simple, three-hour move into a costly ordeal. I strongly recommend not hiring this company!

I was going to move some furniture from a second home to a storage unit near me. They were to be at the house between 1 and 3Pm. At approx 1:20 the store manager called to tell me they needed to reschedule because it was too windy. I had planned the le day for the move. They said they could reschedule me for the next with no changes. I then asked for some kind of adjustment to the price. The manager said NO. I even called corporate who got snotty with me and said no as well. Moving is stressful so canceling the day of the move during the arrival window made it move stressful. There are plenty of moving companies so don't use All My Sons!

We scheduled a full-service move with All My Sons for a Saturday morning and received written confirmation. On moving day, no one arrived. We received no advance notice and only learned of the cancellation after reaching out ourselves.

This created a massive disruption. My wife, who is 12 weeks pregnant, was forced to help move boxes in 90-degree heat. We had to book emergency help at a higher cost just to get through the day.

All My Sons refused to offer any reimbursement or meaningful explanation. Their response was a generic, copy-pasted message used on many other negative reviews—many of which also describe last-minute cancellations.

This company is unreliable and takes no responsibility for the harm their actions cause. I would never use them again and strongly recommend others stay away.

Where do I begin? The Sat they were to move me, show up at 3:00pm and said, OH we are going to need more time and another man OR we can move as much as we can today but it will only be 4 hours total we can move you. WHAT??? So, they come the next day @ 8am and then put a tablet in front of me to initial all the fine print. Yes, they sent a contract that explained SOME of what was to happen next. Never would I have thought that 11 hours later, $455 of gasoline costs to move me 7 miles, and they moved me from a 1,000 sq ft mobile home to a 700 sq ft apartment with a garage, and I would have never believed they would leave every single box in the garage and only brought up the bedroom furniture, one couch, one chair, two kitchen table chairs and a small end table. THAT IS IT, because they RAN out of time. And I was already paying for 5 + hours of OVERTIME for them to get all the boxes in my garage. And, oh wait, I still had things left in the mobile home. My 50 in TV wasn't taken along with so many other things I can't list them. Guess how much this cost me? $2,300.00. YES, and a garage full almost to the ceiling worth of boxes. I will be writing another review with pictures later. I was so angry right now that I just had to get this out there. PLEASE read the contract before you hire this company AND ask how much it will cost if it goes over 6hrs and if they will finish moving you when the clock runs out. Seriously UNBELIEVEABLE.

Do not let the packers out of your sight! I had 3 assigned packers, appeared to be great people. My packing ended about 10:00 pm when we all started to drive off towards the storage unit. The packers advised me they were going to stop at a convenience store for about 15 minutes for a drink, I acknowledged and kept going to ensure the storage unit was prepared for the arrival of my property. Well, 30 minutes went by, I called the guys, no answer, 45 minutes went by, I called, no answer, I kept calling and calling for an hour and 45 minutes. The office did not answer, and of course not since it was almost midnight. Finally the guys showed up, unloaded my property, had me sign a document indicating the company would not be responsible for loss after 90 days AND they asked for a tip.

Now it’s way past the 90 days and I now realize why the guys were 1 hour and 45 minutes late, they stole a lot of my belongings; 2 TVs, my XBox, an expensive comforter, Polish Pottery dishes, Pampered Chef and Calphalon pots and pans, many of my prized possessions.

I have not and will not contact management after reading reviews about their non-responsiveness and the fact that I signed a document indicating they would not be responsible for loss after 90 days.

For the protection of other customers I plan to do a police report with hopes to initiate an investigation, and submit a complaint to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) through their National Consumer Complaint Database. Additionally, report to the Better Business Bureau, the Attorney Generals Office and seek consultation from an attorney to see what else I can do.

This post is to make customers aware as well as to let the company know this will not be tolerated.

Something has to be done, it can’t be a “free for all” for the packers, at the customers expense.

They had 50 pictures of my contents and quoted me $5100 to take care of everything and move 6 blocks to new house, "I wouldn't have to touch a thing". Salesperson told me if we toted anything up ahead it would save us money. They sent 8 people and 2 trucks that didn't get half done and billed me $5600. Talked to manager and was told they would return next day with 5 people and 1 truck to finish for $3400 to $3500. Next day filled truck still left me with 2 pickup loads and billed me $4600. We actually had packaged over 80 totes before they ever started, what a rip off. Now I'm out over $10K, I guess they get 1 star because they showed up. DO NOT CALL THESE SCAMMERS.

I am deeply disappointed with the service provided by All My Sons Moving. What should have been a professional and seamless process turned into an incredibly stressful and frustrating experience. Their lack of organization, respect for our belongings, and poor communication made this move far more difficult than it needed to be.

To begin with, they were not transparent with their pricing. They kept telling me the pack and move would take three days, but only quoted two days broken down into hours, making it difficult to catch on the quote.

The packing process was especially disastrous. It’s clear this company should not be in the business of packing at all. Wardrobe boxes were filled only a quarter of the way full with towels, wasting space and resources. Some boxes contained fragile items like glass vases placed unwrapped alongside books and other belongings, resulting in damage. Several of our items were broken, scratched, or ruined, including cherished family photos and furniture.

The lack of care and attention to detail made it clear that our belongings were not treated with the respect they deserved. On top of that, the disorganized packing and labeling caused significant confusion and stress during unpacking. We also have to hire professional cleaners for both homes as they were extremely disrespectful to our carpets and wood floors. I will have to replace carpet in a portion of my old home before we put it on the market and when I asked for them to put on booties during the packing to avoid tracking dirt onto rugs, I was simply told "no".

I also had to make alternative arrangements for my family to stay in a hotel, as the chaos of the move made it unsafe for my toddler to be at home. This was a major inconvenience and something no family should have to endure during a move.

I expected professionalism and care from a moving company, but All My Sons failed to deliver on both counts. Their practices and lack of respect for customers' homes and belongings make it clear they are not suited for packing or moving services. I cannot recommend this company and strongly encourage others to look elsewhere for their moving needs.

❌ Workers admitted they were "not getting paid" and "losing money" on my move.

❌ Forced me to rent a U-Haul and hire additional movers on the coldest weekend of the year.

My moving date was this past Monday.The mover did a walk through and refuse to put my belongings in the truck.The mover stated the my belongings belong in the junk removal truck. One guy said he had asthma refused to enter my house. He said all the animals had to be gone and all windows opened. I am working against time constraints as movers said to move the next day. I tried to contact the local boss Stephen with no luck.I am getting run around. They want all my belongings on a junk removal truck.

This company parades around words like “family values” and “ethics,” but their actions expose the truth. Scamming customers isn’t a value — it’s a disgrace.

Honestly, you’d be better off hiring movers off Craigslist than trusting these shysters — at least then you’d know what you’re getting into.

Major scam - DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR BUSINESS. We were charged nearly $1200 to move 1 room (studio apartment) worth of furniture 11 miles from an independent senior living facility to an assisted living facility. They did no packing at all, even though that was supposed to be part of the service. We were willing to pay the estimated $600-700 that we were told initially (even though that seemed really high), because it included both packing and moving and we really needed to worry about more important (human) aspects of the move. The 2 guys, while nice enough, showed up in a giant rented moving truck and then proceeded to move in slow motion - spending more time texting than working. When it was all done, only the furniture and some plastic tubs we had quickly tossed some items into were moved, everything else was left behind and we will have to box up and move that ourselves because they took nearly 5 hours to do what should have taken maybe 1-2 hours at most. When I got the bill, I was like - $1200 - for what? Their manager (Randy, maybe, I forget - he was not a pleasant person) had the nerve to blame my sister for not answering his call - or checking in with him - like it's her job to manage his people. He also claimed he did us a favor by reducing the fuel charge (um hello, the truck you sent was big enough for a giant home, how is that our responsibility?). It seemed pretty clear that he instructed his guys to move slow since their earlier job that day had been cancelled - they needed to make it up somewhere. Sure - why not rip off two women that are doing the best they can to help their 90 year old parent adjust to an unexpected move with just a few days notice. One can only hope that karma will catch up to you one day.

I hired All My Sons Moving and Storage. They were all friendly to get the business the first phone call. After that it all went downhill. They were supposed to arrive at 8 a.m. They didn't show up till 1:50 p.m. I was not notified of the change. When they finally arrived the driver kept apologizing for being so late. Saying the Boss said we needed to be in Park City first thing that morning. Then I was the second move. I hired 3 Professional Movers and were quick and Professional at $199.00 an hour. Most everything was packed boxed. All the 2 young adults (Kids). They were complaining how tired they were. Just standing around. There was No Professionalism or being quick. Then they start breaking lamps, Dropped my sectional have holes in it from dragging it on concrete, Treadmill damage and China. My 1 day move went into 2 days which I now had to pay for a 2 day move. I feel they over charged me. I never seen any invoices for either days? I finally was able to get invoices from my bank a month later. I feel they took advantage of me with what they charged me for 2 days was over over $3600.00. Considering there was no Professionalism which is false advertising and they were not quick among breaking to many things and complaining how tired they were. yes we are human and can make a mistake. It's cost me a lot more than that in damages. They were getting ready to leave the first house and they left boxes and furniture behind telling me there was no room left on the truck. They were just tired!

The next day they showed up on time with four young adults. They didn't know much about stacking a storage unit. They are Not responsible for anything once they leave the storage unit. I can understand that. But when one mover says "Don't go in here yourself you could get hurt." 2 hours later I can see why. More damage done. All My Sons Moving and Storage are Not Professionals. They were not Honest with me and took advantage of the moving job. Over charged me, when I finally had an invoice to look at. Thanks to the bank. AMS never sent an invoice for either day. Only called for CC Payments! I will never hire this moving company again. This was a local move 40 miles? Then I had to hire 2 guys to rearrange my storage unit 2 days later. Taking everything out and restacking. All My Sons is a horrible NON Professional Moving Company who doesn't care about their customers. This was a lesson learned!

The company was kind and informative until the move happened. They added an 18% fuel charge calculated on the total cost. I was not informed about the fuel charge until the move was completed. They added supplies cost that they refused to itemize. When I called, they argued that the moving blankets were part of the supplies cost, yet didn't leave them with us. Nick, the customer rep, communicated like a pitbull when I called to question why the actual cost was $400 over the estimate he gave me the day before.

Finally, I gave a negative review, had a call from a customer representative from Texas who promised me $400 after I complete the forms. The email address provided to return them was not real. I used two separate email accounts and received "undeliverable" from both. Again, i was strung along..

I paid $400 for for my error of trusting this company. It wasn't worth it.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1183

All My Sons was great at first, they were there on time to pick up, the guys were friendly and moved quickly.  They even allowed me to delay delivery a couple times due to the closing of my house being delayed. They showed up 2 hours late to deliver but I didn't complain because they had been so helpful up to that point.  It took the guys longer to unload my stuff than it did to load it because they screwed around a bit, but again, it was the easiest part of buying a house (at that point) so I didn't complain.  My move was on 4/17 and I only have my kids part time so I had them for a week before I noticed my sons' bunk bed was falling apart.  His bunk bed is a lower bed and only comes up to my chest so I didn't realize the slats were falling until I was on his floor helping him clean up. There are 13 slats and 26 holes for screws but only 4 screws were used and they weren't even screwed in all the way.  I called and spoke with William today and he blamed me for the bed falling apart and told me that if it was an issue I would have told him when I called to complain about the gross overcharging for fuel (18% of the bill for your time, plus paying for time to and from the locations(s), plus a transportation charge).  I tried explaining that I just noticed and he didn't care and hung up on me when I yelled at him.  I am astounded that a mover can justify his men not putting together a child's bed correctly.  Thankfully my son was not injured but he could have been and then what would they have done?  I am very disappointed in their professionalism and the fact that they feel justified to blame me for their lack of concern and ability to assemble furniture correctly.

On a recent cross country move from Battle Ground WA to Manchester CT. All My Sons failed to show any respect for my property . Some of the Damage included a Crushed Weber smoker, Custom Cherry dining table with a broken Leg & Scratched leaves, a wooden chest had the doors ripped off, a broken floor lamp damaged lamp shades a mattress that was poked with a pitch fork. The couch and Chair was on its Side on a dirty truck bed unprotected. None of the furniture was wrapped. Boxes were placed on table tops without padding. Lamps & Lampshades and other breakables were just shoved into holes unprotected.

Service cost: $9142

Giant FAIL.
We are breaking up my parents home and moved only the most valuable family heirlooms to three locations in Austin. We picked All My Sons, despite being twice the cost of the other bid because of the care they promised.

They did not show up on time. They did not wrap a single item, did not pad items, did not pad stair railing or door frames, did not follow directions for where the items were to go. A drive that takes 1 hour and 45 minutes took them 2 1/2 hours. They showed up at the wrong location first, requiring a neighbor to accept the piano that had a piece broken off and a huge gouge in the front of it.
The furniture arrived at the Assisted Living facility in bad shape, again with family heirlooms unwrapped and lacking padding and a shoe print in the middle of the dining table. When asked, the mover said they didn't wrap to save us time since we were to be charged by the hour. Once we started identifying all the damage, he denied saying that. Claimed they wrapped and unwrapped everything in the truck. Since we have a security cameras in several rooms and the front of the house, we can see them banging into walls and not spending time to wrap in the truck. When we showed them a table with broken and dangling wood, they claimed it was already there. Exposed bent nail and all.

The movers were very rude, and said a claims report would be sent to us. Five days later and we still have not been contacted despite sending emails to the estimator Johnny Jones and to the company.
Can't see how this could have been any worse than items being moved in an open pick up truck.

I hired All My Sons for a move in August 2014. A company employee stole the truck loaded with all my belongings and looted it with his accomplices. I lost all my furniture, electronics, washer/dryer, and most of my artwork, kitchen items, etc. What little was recovered suffered extensive damage. After initially saying they would do whatever they could to help me recover from this devastating loss, All My Sons did not keep any of their promises, and their insurer, Vanliner, has used every stalling tactic imaginable to delay paying my claim. My insurance won't pay until Vanliner pays first because All My Sons is responsible for the theft. I've had to pay out of pocket to replace everything so far. If I didn't have good credit I'd still be in an empty home with only an air mattress and no furniture. The worst part is that All My Sons is now trying to make me pay their $3000 bill! They say that filing an insurance claim relieves them of any further responsibility, and they want to be paid for the "services" they provided. They want me to pay them for being so negligent and incompetent that an employee was able to take the keys, steal a truck containing everything I owned, and rip my life apart! I've hired a lawyer, and have been told it may take 2-3 years to get this nightmare resolved. Do NOT hire All My Sons! They have absolutely no integrity.

We had All My Sons in Sarasota, Fl move us on June 23, 2016 put our belongings in storage, and then move us out November 11, 2016. I was charged 3300 for the move plus 250/month for July, August, September and October 2016. On the charge in June, I was charged a prorated charge for June 23-july 15, and then the $250 for July. But then we got charge again for July and they have refused to refund the $250 double charge. On top of that, they have REFUSED to give me an itemized invoice for each move, and I firmly believe I have been overcharged manhours, especially since I have been denied an itemized invoice. On top of that we were charged

$480 fuel surcharge, for driving a total of approximately 50 miles (and gas is 2.19 per gallon). I have been denied speaking to the owner named Betty a lady named Diane speaks for her. I've been told this is a small family owned company, well if you treat your family the way I've been treated this is no family you want to be a member of. All My Sons is nothing more than a SHYSTER company, in business to rip off their clients. The only good thing I can say is that the moving guys were ok and took relatively good care of our belongings. My advice for doing business with any moving company is get it IN WRITING, I was too naive and trusting and I really got screwed. My advice is to RUN AWAY,
not WALK away from ALL MY SONS MOVING and STORAGE as fast as you can, and give your moving business elsewhere.

Hi hired All My Sons from Fuquay Varina, NC to load my 3 bedroom home onto a truck. I was told I would get "2 men", the cost would be approximately $540.00, and I needed to supply them 24 moving pads.

The day of the move, "3 men" hurriedly arrived, I supplied them 24 moving pads, four large covers, 4 pillows, and 7 foam connect blocks. Within 30 minutes 2 items were broken, they lifted my Pony riding mower (they did not use the ramp) and plopped it straight onto my workout bench with no covering in between, they pushed everything hard together and carelessly piled one thing on top of another. When I complained, they simply said, "you can call Corporate and make a claim". They didn't use the extra supplies I provided in the form I asked them to. They said they knew that they were doing.

I now have leather furniture with deep imprints that will need new cushions (in total 6 chairs), stretched leather that will need to be reupholstered, broken lamp set, broken leg on my dresser, broken slate from my pool table, broken chandelier light fixture, numerous scratches dents on wood furniture, dents on my workout machine, cracked slay bed.

I can only post 2 pictures of the 23 damaged photos of furniture I have. To make matters worse, the so called $540.00 ended up costing me $794.60 ($254.60 in supplies?). They offered me $333.00 to replace ALL the damage. Not one mention of reimbursing me for supplies or the move. It's going to cost me more than $794.60 to repair the damages. Note my beautiful leather sofa how they wrapped it with just one swipe of Cellolphane?

PLEASE DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. They were very much in a rush, apparently untrained in packing and I sensed that they were trained to say, "just make a claim to corporate" in order to pacify a customer.

I wish I could post all the pictures - it was hard to decide which was worse.
