All My Sons Moving and Storage

This was by far my worst moving experience. I am a 37 year military veteran with over 15 moving experiences. I hire AMS movers because they were recommend to move valuables and antiques. To my surprise, I experienced broken German crystal and an antique grandfather clock purchased in Black Forrest Germany. The movers attempted to hand carry my antique clock down my stairs and into a truck (against my voiced concern).

It was raining and one of the movers dropped my clock completing breaking off the base. When I voice frustration with the damage and their not listening, the lead mover stated, "Its no big deal. You just need to wood glue it."

When I called his supervisor to report the incident and my dissatisfaction, he too acted like it was no big deal. When I requested new movers, he stated that he could just end the job period. I was told that AMS's claim department would contact me. However, I had to reach out to them after waiting over a week. Their response was just as bad. I was told to complete the claim form and my clock would be properly restored. But, when the settlement returned AMS movers wanted to accept $150.00 and sign a nondisclosure agreement. I refused and told them that the offer was absolutely insulting. I requested that they send out a 3rd party repair person to completely assess the damage and provide an complete estimate. That was over a week ago and I have not heard anything from AMS movers. Again, this is the most unprofessional and questionably skilled move I have ever experienced. Besides breaking my property, the moving time charge me for time spent taking breaks, talking with a spouse on the phone and complaining about having to work. I am still waiting for AMS movers to act in good faith.

I wish I could give this company ZERO stars. What a mistake it was to choose them to move my things. I was simply moving from a 2 room house to storage. As I left to go get cash at an ATM across the street, came back 10 minutes later, and they were "done" emptying the truck to the storage unit. 10 minutes to chunk all of my belongings into a HUGE space with zero care. They filled the unit and left no space to even get anything out without emptying the whole thing. It's a friggin MESS. Do yourself a favor and DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. And if you end up doing it and have "Sean and Sean" as your movers, good luck, they are the WORST of the WORST.

I've tried to get them to acknowledge the fact that this happened and send 2 people out to help move things around and they haven't even called me back. This company is horrible. Look elsewhere.

Terrible company do not hire, I had the worst possible service. They were shady and disrespectful. I was hushed and shownPaperworkToDistractme. Everything they did as far as loading was incorrect. Including putting very heavy boxes on the top and light boxes on the bottom. They had no care in the world for my things. Never strapped anything down even though I asked them too, was told repeatedly that they were the professionals nothing could be further from the truth .This was a very stressful time for me. I wish I had the money to sue them. They didn’t drive they loaded two pack cubes

Over two months ago we arranged for All My Sons Moving to move us approx. 12 miles from one house to another. They helped with packing materials, tape, boxes of various types but provided NO contract and did everything verbal ! I was suspicious and boy did I ever have a right to be!! The day of the move, we were 85% packed and still had a few things loose that they could have helped us pack and I would gladly have paid extra. These four young millennial boys took a 5 minute tour of my house and abruptly walked to their truck and proceeded to drive AWAY! I called out to the team lead and he stated I was not ready to move in their opinion! I called their boss and he said he had to go by their advice. Personnally, I hate it when the workers make the rules and decide to go do an easier job and leave someone who has been waiting for months to move in a lurch with no recourse other than to call another company!! IF YOU ARE PLANNING A MOVE SOON, PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON’T EVEN THINK ABOUT USING THIS COMPANY, “All My Sons Moving” , THEY WILL DISAPPOINT YOU AND LEAVE YOUR FAMILY IN A LURCH! WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH IN MY 65 YEARS!!!! Unbelievably unprofessional!!

My experience with All my sons was awful. First of all they had the wrong address. They did did not have the supplies they needed ( although they charged me for them ). The whole reason I hired them was to move a valuable antique. I paid for “full value protection” which it turns out means nothing except they charge you an extra $260.00. well they broke the leg off the antique. They will not pay for repairs. They offered me 250.00 compensation. So it turns out the “full value insurance “ is actually worthless.

It cost me extra for them to break my antique. Do your self a favor and choose someone else.

On April 29th, I used All My Sons, in Tulsa Ok, to move my furniture to my new house. They damaged my brand new floor in my new house, destroyed my massage chair, dirtied my mattress. Tracked dirt in because the driver did not have the traffic plastic to put down. They did not wrap my mattress or massage chair. My massage chair looks like they drug it across their truck, has a rip and damage to side. They pulled the legs off, and now nothing works.

I filed a claim, and they have come back and low balled my with a $254 offer. I can't even get the floor fixed for that, much less the chair.

I do not recommend this company at all.

Like so many others have said - all my furniture was ruined and damaged. There were many items that disappeared on my move, poorly packed boxes were crushed. It was a nightmare.

The claims department was even worse; they never reached back out. And told me "it was too late to file a claim" after two months when they didn't reach back out after leaving several weeks of messages and emails. The contract states I have two years.

Do yourself a favor and don't think about using them.

Up front,all my sons seemed like a great company. Their price is right up there with the big boys so I chose to go with them as opposed to smaller, cheaper companies because I mistakenly thought that they would be great. However the move was not what I expected. The good news first: everything seemed to have made it to my new home. The bad news: almost all of my furniture pieces had deep scratches and one piece had a chunk of wood broken out. My cedar dresser had a shelf missing though. The crew seemed to be new. They moved all the furniture against the walls of the new home so I had to hire more people to help move them away from wall so that I use the outlets. They seemed to have trouble putting together the furniture that they took apart. They told me that they would be at my new home at a particular day and time but they were a day late. I was disappointed with their packing services. They did not use care while packing breakables with paper. They asked to use my expensive comforter because they ran out of blankets. They returned it filthy. I was hopeful that they would’ve been a good company because the team was a nice group. This company will not last long unfortunately.

I recently used All My Sons moving company. The employee on the phone who scheduled my move was very professional. However, the lead employee on the day of the move was very unprofessional. He and his partner did not bring tools to disassemble my bed frame as planned when scheduling the move. They used tools I had available, but refused to take the frame apart as I have done in prior moves which resulted in breaking the frame. My son and his wife moved the same amount of items 10 miles last year when I changed apartments and did it in half the time with no damaged items. Several items were unnecessarily damaged during the move: however I was financially reimbursed by the company. The most distressing occurrence was the attitude of the lead mover. When the movers arrived at the new apartment, they were required to transport my items up one flight of cement stairs. The lead mover bounced the metal dolly down the stairs instead of carrying it like his partner did, chipping the cement. One of my neighbors complained to the mover about the loud noise disturbance and the mover continued in this manner for 2 hours. The neighbor called the police and 2 officers arrived in order to stop the mover from continuing the disturbance. I have extensive moving experience between and within 6 states and I have never experienced this level of unprofessional behavior and property damage.
