East Coast did such a good job. I was really worried after having a move go poor a few years back with a broker. My sales representative Jason assured me that it was a all inclusive quote, and that they were a real moving company, that they were. The way the movers wrapped & packed my furniture far exceeded my expectation. I wind up taking less boxes then we estimated and the price went down from the original quote of $2400 to $2200. Being delivered in 5 days from Florida to New Jersey was a blessing.

Everything about my move was pretty much as great as it could be thanks to the pros at East Coast Moving and Storage. I could not have asked for a better move. The communication was well kept throughout my move. I moved from FL to Reno nv so its a long way away and I still got my things within my delivery window. The driver kept me informed if anything was stopping him for making it on time or just updating me on where he was on the road. When my things arrived it came just as I left it. Nothing was missing and everything looked like it was never moved. They really did a great job with my move and I appreciate that there is a company that cares. .

We decided to relocate with my new family from Texas to Florida because  my wife got a teaching job there so we decided to pack up and go. I was a bit nervous since we had a big house full of things. I did some browsing on the Internet and ran into Walla. I called up and right away and  I  had a very pleasant conversation with the sales person. He was very patient while I went through a long list of inventory and got a perfect quote that my wife and I agreed to. We booked the move date and the movers came and were very punctual. They knew what they were doing and they were very professional and careful with our belongings. They delivered the stuff to our new home and places everything in each room damage free. We couldn't be happier that it was all over and we were able to be situated in such a short time. I recommend this company because they understood that moving can be very stressful and they tired to make it as easy as possible on us from start to finish. Definitely worth every penny and time! Highly recommended .

Moving cross country was very scary. I was not sure what to expect but the girls in the office just made my family and I feel so comfortable and we're very please with the service we got from beginning to end. Daniel was amazing and gave us so many tips on how to save. The movers worked so hard and were very respectful. The great thing about east coast was on pick up day before any work was done Tony came in and reevaluated our inventory and let us know before we signed any paperwork that our price had went down by a couple hundred dollars. We were very pleased to hear that. Delivery was just as great. We had no damages and the guys did such an amazing job even having to shuttle our belongings to Manhattan. We would not have been able to make this move possible without the help from east coast moving and storage. From start to finish they were on top of our needs and completed the move with quality work and great customer service. We would recommend east coast moving and storage to any of our friends and family moving cross country. Thank you east coast employees for making our new journey in the big city an amazing start.

All the info that I am reading about this company is exactly right. This is a crooked company and dishonest. They raised the price at the time of pickup by $3000.00 for additional boxes. We came to other agreeable terms and they came back out and again raised the price by 3000$ again stating we added 20 more boxes to the inventory. We were not even in our home because we had already moved. We asked for the depsoit back and the owner told my husband to "F" off and hung up on him. We are being told that they wil not refund the deposit beause them came out. Everytime you call all they want to do is fight with you. They offer no resolutions and only ask for more money. After reading all the reviews I rather pack up my stuff and call it a day. The guys showed up all they did was complain about the company and how they do business. The forman offered to move us in a uhaul at a better price. This company is a complete joke. They do not own any trucks and the people moving up do not work for them either. You will always lose using this company

I move constantly due to work and I can personal say I will use these guys whenever possible. The service is great . There is no question that you can't get answered.
The staff is so professional. They really listen to you when it comes to how you want your items moved. They moved an heirloom that's has been in my family for years with such care it amazed me .
Also this company was only half the price of other companies.
I would definitely be calling east coast moving and storage next time I move.

I was nervous about a big cross country move. I was expecting a big, expensive headche but I was pleasantly surprised! The moving crew was punctual, polite, and went above and beyond to make sure my items were delivered In a timely manner. I didn't expect not to have something negative to say from a move from Ohio to Richmond, Virginia but they really delivered! I didn't have to spend anytime without the things I really needed. I would use this company again and again.

I know right, how can moving be anything less than a nightmare? Thats why after receiving a great review from my coworker, my wife and I called the moving team of awesome professionals at East Coast Moving & Storage. My friend was totally correct.

Illinois to Scranton, PA in my mind was totally unmanageable. The experts at East Coast Moving & Storage helped make our HUGE life changing event/challange an enjoyable one!

Their crew was impeccable and handled moveing all our items with care even greater than our own. I can't say enough about them, the crew was both professional and personable, easy to direct and work witg. They know their stuff too! Their expert movers promptly addressed any possible concern well before I thought of it. Masters of the move!

We will for surly recommend them to family, friends, and others at my company facing the same relocation.

I wouldn't normally spend this much time reviewing a company but from beginning to end they saved us more than money and time. They saved us the worry and emotional stress moving a distance like this causes and to my family and I that alone was priceless

These guys are the best hands down!! They were complete professionals--they arrived on time, packed everything neatly so all my things arrived in on piece in the same condition as I had them before the move! They assured me the move would be seamless, but I was skeptical. Definitely proved me wrong. I could not have asked for a better moving company than East Coast Moving & Storage. Also, pricewise I would say this company gives you a bargain for how well their service is! I would definitely recommend them to friends.

I have never rated a business but MUST share the horrible experience and follow-up customer service we have received. East Coast Moving and Storage company has left me with no recourse at this point but to share my experience, which I informed Julian would occur if the refund wasn't received per contract signed and out last conversation one week ago. I wouldn't wish the same experience to any other family looking for reliable movers.   My Experience: East Coast broke the contracted pickup time (by 9hrs) and delivery date (from Sat to Mon), less than 2hrs prior to the contracted allowed cancellation date/time. My son was starting a new job on the following Mon and to change move delivery date at the last minute was not an option for him nor family members helping him to settle over the weekend. We canceled East Coast and scurried to luckily find a UHaul truck and movers the evening before at the last minute. STRESSFUL!! We did and hired 3 men in Atl and 3 men in Little Rock and drove the Big UHaul ourselves, through flooding rain. It worked out because we saved a good bit of money, even over the good contracted rate (multi-family move delivery) we were given by East Coast. It sounded good because we were told we were "the last pick-up and first delivery", but I hope other customers don't fall for this line who are considering they're getting a good deal.  The good rate wasn't worth the hassle and risk we were put through! The drive of a big UHaul was dangerous for individuals inexperienced, under inclement weather conditions, and poor customer service to only not received the contracted reimbursement of deposit made 3 months ago. It took over 1 mo before East Coast supposedly cut (they said) the refund check, and now another 1- 1/2 mo has elapsed and the check has still not been received. The last phone conversation 7-days ago was with customer service (Julian), who said they had canceled the 1st check and was re-issuing a 2nd check in two days.  I told them I would allow a 5 day delivery time, from the day the check was to be cut and Julian agreed this would be adequate. I told him I didn't want to have to escalate my complaint and take further measures.  Guess what? Still no check and no department will answer my phone call to the office today (Weds).  I called for over 2 hrs (1-3pm EST), to (855) 844-6194 numerous times to only receive a recording. We've been told on 4 separate occasions the refund check has been mailed. STILL NO CHECK and what has become apparent as a big run around. I talked with Derek and Julian since the contract was canceled. Daniel is the salesman who scheduled and sold us the contract. I think Dispatch service (Michael) is where everything went BAD initially with postponing the delivery. Don't get me wrong, phone conversations have overall been polite and appear to be good business practice, but only to find no follow through on intentions. My advice to potential customers would be to KEEP LOOKING for another company and don't get caught in a bad experience. How an A+ BBB rating can be placed on your e-mail correspondence is beyond my understanding.  The East Coast Moving and Storage company I used out of Hallandale, FL has been anything but A+ rating.  I have given enough opportunities for the company to honor the signed terms of agreement and will continue to give bad review ratings based on the customer service I received.   It's a matter of good business practice and treating your customers right.  Highly Discouraged Customer who desires deposit reimbursed!

It started with the initial phone call: They were easy to understand, making sure to explain the process, charges I should expect (Which was 2000$ not a bad price!), and expected time-line for the move.  I felt I needed to call around, and out of the handful of moving companies, East Coast Moving and Storage stood above the rest as being the most informative over the phone.  When I was ready I called back and spoke to one of there reps.  She didn't get off of the phone until she confirmed that both people + trucks would be available. They arrived on time, and ready to go.  They did a quick inspection of everything we'd be moving, and were both very personable and professional.  Whenever they were unsure of something they would ask me, and I couldn't believe the hustle of these guys, even on a hotter day like that. They explained all of the paperwork, and the expected time to arrive at my new location.  They got there in great time, and were immediately able to get started since we had the parking spots reserved.They helped assemble some of my furniture to make sure it would all fit. East Coast Moving and Storage were super helpful! I would definitely use them again, and I've already recommended them to my friends.

The service of this company was tremendously good. They were very professional, treated my furniture gently .. They moved me from Ohio to Alabama without any Hassale. Please consider these movers as the best of the best. The quality of there service was not bad at all.. In fact they made me enjoy moving . Cutting out all the Hassale they had one job they came and completed it . Very nicely done . They have qualified trucks for the job making moving simple and easy . So when anybody asks who are some good movers please refer this company to them. As they help move all around the U.S. With very flexible rates . They are good at what they do and no one does it better . So when dealing with such movers it's good to leave a positive review for them.

To summarize, this company provided me with a "binding estimate" for a full service move, then after loading the truck, increased the final amount by over 50%, then threatened and coerced me into agreeing to the new amount. When I attempted to complain to the "customer service" agent, I was disrespected, ignored, and threatened. My goods were eventually delivered 20 days after the original promised date, and many of my articles were damaged. The company also claims to not be a broker, but this is false. They hired a separate agent to deliver my goods, which charged me an additional fee for "Shuttle Service".
I ended up paying almost double the original estimate, my goods were held hostage for 20 days, and many of my articles were damaged or broken upon delivery.
CONSUMER BEWARE: The "East Coast Moving and Storage" referred to in my review is deceptive and dangerous. Please proceed with caution.

The worse ever experience: they arrive the day after the requested pick up date, it ended up costing me DOUBLE the estimated price (even tough I called them with updated measure and details of the items I was moving), they forgot items in the house so they had to come back; the WORSE was the delivery date: they came 10 days after my requested date, because in the contract which they give you once they have all your stuff in the truck and there is no time to read it, it says there is a 2 to 4 week window for delivery! this is crazy! CUSTOMER SERVICE was terrible, rude, people that do not care about their jobs; actually, there are several subcontracted companies, and there is a total confusion of who you should contact, and all this you only learn it once they already have all your stuffs in the truck. WASTE OF MONEY, HUGE STRESS, TERRIBLE SERVICE, ABUSE BILLING. I do not know how they can legally still be in service.

I contacted East Coast about moving my things from my old place in GA to my new place in MD. From the first phone conversation, they were very courteous and professional. The movers handled my stuff as if it was their own, taking special care of my fragile items and making sure my wooden items and furniture made it to the truck without a scratch and shortly after I arrived, my items arrived not long behind me. As far as cost, they were very affordable compared to what other companies were charging (see: double that!) I would definitely recommend them again to anyone!

I'll say first that the physical move was excellent..a subcontracted company "Big Box Movers" were great. My "star" ratings (except for promptness) do not apply to the men who handled and transported our stuff. However, the sale was a complete con job. We had done the East Coast online inventory and got 1400 cu. ft., but another company visited the house and estimated 1900 cu. ft. Due to costs we had decided to move ourselves, but Daniel at East Coast called back saying he could drop our fee from more than $8K to $4700. I explained that the price was tempting but we now believed we had 1900 cu. ft. of "stuff"..Daniel said "no problem"..we'll do 1900 cu. ft. for $4700, and he put that explicitly in an email and a binding quote. When the movers came the day before our real estate closing they said "no way..we won't do it for that price. So, find somebody else or sign this new agreement." And, of course my frantic calls to Daniel Sanders while the movers were threatening to leave went unanswered (and are still unanswered). End result, $7754.98..$3054.98 more than promised. I've filed a complaint, but most input I get suggests that the entire process is fixed and I'll never see any response. If that's true this is par for the course..the best I can hope is to steer business away from this company.  .
