My husband and I were relocating due to his job moving to New York. As we all know, moving is such a stressful event. I was sitting home one day and came across this website: http://www.moveroftheyear.com. I was immediately interested. I called them up and got a quote of $3,000 and it was much more reasonable than other companies I had called. They arrived on time and the staff was very professional. They cared for our items as if it were there own. When we arrived in New York from Maine, our things were in the same condition as they were when they were loaded onto the truck! My husband was very happy because he was worried about his antique train collection. I am very pleased with the service to the point where I recommended them to other collegues of mine. This is an All-Star Excellent company. I will be using them again. But not too soon hopefully.

I had never had a long distance move, so I went to http://www.moveroftheyear.com to look at reviews. I came across East Coast Moving and Storage and contacted them. It was the best decision I could have made. They determined the size of my move and set everything up immediately. The price of $2350 that they quoted me never changed. They arrived on time, went over the paperwork with me, and assured me that they would take care of everything, which they did. They called to make sure that someone would be home when they arrived, and they arrived on time with all my items intact. They carefully unpacked my items from the truck, took them to their respective rooms, and assembled the items that they assured they would. They handled the rest of the payment with ease, we finished the final paperwork, and they thanked me for my business. I would not hesitate to use East Coast Moving and Storage for any of my moving needs and would recommend them to anyone for any size move.

I normally don't rate or review any company unless I was extremely satisfied and received more than I expected. East Coast Moving & Storage provided me with above and beyond service! I've heard terrible stories about moving companies, all from damaged items to stolen, and lack of promptness. I was hysterical that the items that hold value (not only cost value but those that hold memories) would suffer in the process of relocation due to my job relocation from Florida to PA. The sales person listened attentively and assured me that it would not happen (although they all say this) and as promised not one thing was damaged or lost in trans-course!! 
East Coast arrived at my home for pick up at the time they said they would, I even received a courtesy call letting me know they were on their way! They picked up my furniture with the same love I would've treated it. It was unbelievable. The same service when it got to PA, I received a call and dropped off with the same TLC! 
As a mother (super over protective with my family and my home) I would recommend this over and over again! Choose East Coast with no regrets, thoughts or stresses. I was pretty stressed during the whole situation. If I would've know it would be this stress free I would've enjoyed my departure from FL much more!

I had extensively searched for reviews online, and eventually came across East Coast Moving and Storage which has high praise on several other websites. When I called my brother in law who's in the military and has to move back and forth between military bases from Florida to South Carolina he highly recommended ECM&S. So I went with it and it payed off tremendiously not only was the price competitive, but they really took some of the stress out of the move. The professionalism and courteousness of the staff was surprising from a moving company, but it helped me to manage my things and make sure everything was organized effectively for the move. I would definitely use them again heaven forbid we have to move back to FL.

I almost didn't want to move because moving can be overwhelming. Logistics must be handled carefully and there's no room for slacking. Needless to say, I was feeling a little stressed out. I'm glad to say that East Coast Moving helped wipe away any fears I had. When my stuff arrived at my new home, everything was intact. The staff were professional and courteous throughout the duration of the process. The cost was a little over 2k so it was reasonable. I'm pretty pleased with this service and if I'm ever in the business of moving again, I know who I'll call.

I had to make a move from Pennsylvania to New York due to a career change, and it couldn't have been easier had I not used this company. This is the first time I've used a service for moving rather than hauling myself, and let me say that this is 100x more convenient and cost-effective than doing anything on my own. The staff was very professional and courteous, and my belongings made it on time and intact. The crew were very careful and precise with my furniture. The move was very easy and great. I'm more than pleased with my experience with this company, and the service more than exceeded my expectations.

I was hesitant about finding a company suitable for moving my things to Texas after planning to relocate from Florida due to a new job that I have recently taken up. After a lot of research and time spent reading reviews about various companies online I found eastcoast move and got in touch with them for a quote. I can say with confidence that they were exceptional in the service they provided and extremely efficient, sending me a quote within 24 hours. My items were collected on time and delivered within two working days. Keeping in mind the time period that was taken to deliver my items I have to say that the amount charged was very reasonable. Furthermore, the staff were helpful and friendly and professional in their dealings. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the company to friends and family and would most certainly make use of their services in the future. It was satisfying to know that my items were safe and everything was intact at the time of delivery. .

We used East Coast Moving in March to vacate a family member's apartment after an unexpected death.  We contacted the office directly, who handled everything promptly and professionally.  They even came last minute to clean the apartment when the person scheduled to do it was unavailable.  The 2 guys who vacated the apartment, loaded and unloaded the rental truck were also prompt, efficient and careful.  At a very stressful time we appreciated how well the move was East Coast Moving & Storage handled and would recommend  for local moving needs.

Typically I absolutely dread moving because of my experience with it in the Military but when I had to move from Michigan to Texas for work, East Coast moving made it almost effortless. The staff were well presented, friendly and professional throughout the entire process and my belongings were in pristine condition when they were delivered. What I was even more astounded at was the price of the service which came out to one of the lowest quotes I had received in the months leading up to my move. Overall this experience has made me fear moving even less and I intend in the future to use East Coast moving again. Having people who care about moving your belongings as safely and quickly as possible as you do is something beyond words.

I love this company for the work they did to ensure my move. I was moving my family and we needed to someone who was careful enough to do all the work without even lifting a finger. They do everythin from start to finish and gave me a very competitive quote by beating the other company's price. I would pick them over mayflower anyday. Their customer service and dispatched helped me through the whole time after I booked and reserved my space in their truck and then upon delivery I was pleased with the professionalism of the foremen.

Big promises from the start.  I am a military guy and had moved 1 year earlier from Tampa to Orlando. I went from a 4 BR house to a 2 BR apartment. Most of our stuff was never even unpacked from the previous move. When the Army sent me to Virginia I contacted a number of moving companies because this move was not Army funded.  East Coast Move was the lowest bidder and based on what I had read was (mostly positive) I chose them.
On move day they were supposed to show up at 8 AM, at 2:30 PM they finally showed up. The foreman (I call him this because he did no work, and spent 90% of his time on his cell phone) came into our apartment and said “this is much bigger move than you said”.  Remember I had move only a year before and had used that paperwork to get the quote. We moved from a 3500 square foot house to a 900 square foot apartment. We had not bought anything new. In fact the 2nd bedroom of the apartment was packed with boxes from the first move that we never opened.
East coast move based their quote on square footage, my quote for 1200 cubic feet suddenly became 2600 cubic feet. The only difference between the two moves was my motorcycle. I could not ride my bike to VA in March.
So my estimate went from $4200 to a bill of $12000. What was I to do they already had my stuff, the workers and my stuff were gone. I protested but the foreman said that I could call Derrick in the morning and work something out.
I have spoken to Derrick and he did drop the price to $11000 but wanted full payment BEFORE he would send my stuff from Miami to my home.
When I did pay it still took 10 days before my stuff arrived, I asked the driver (by the way they sub contract the delivery) he said that he had picked the stuff up the day before.
So as we are unloading we have found things broken (my wife’s jewelry box), things missing (the legs to our dining room table), and what I am going to call an attempt at grand theft. My motorcycle did not make the trip. Looking at the papers it is not even on the packing list. So these guys loaded my $10,000 motorcycle (I watched them load it) did not account for it, did not deliver it.  The driver of the delivery truck told me he saw it (it is a Harley that I have customized, so no other bike could be confused with it) at the warehouse.
 
We are still unloading the unprofessionally packed boxes (nothing was wrapped just thrown in a box). We still do not know the extent of loss and damage that this company has caused. .

My wife and I recently moved from Lake Worth, FL, to Lake Tahoe, CA, and desperately needed a good moving company. We shopped around, but went with our first find, East Coast Moving. Though I don't own a ton of expensive belongings, the move cost about a couple grand, so it was worth the investment. I was blown away about how punctual the movers were and they were super professional. They even took a little extra time to handle some of our fragile things with care and that meant a lot. Time means money, but these guys weren't going to cut corners by being reckless with our stuff. Overall, a superior service and I would happily hire them again..if I had to move that far again. Which I'm hoping I don't have to move this far again.

My family and I moved our three bedroom household goods from Florida to Ohio. As stressful as this process might seem this company really made our experience so much easier. The price was affordable given the amount of items and the distance of this move. The service was quick and our items handled with much care, our items arrived just as we packed them. Also the staff and representatives we equally knowledgeable and pleasant. I highly recommend their service and would will use them for future relocation's.

I was offered a great job with great pay in Texas, but the only problem was that I have a three bedroom home that I had to move from Florida to Texas. This alone made me want to turn down the job. I have had to use movers in the past and the experience was not good. This time I asked all of my family and friends for a referral but no one had a company that they would recommend. After waiting till the last minute I decided to google a few companies. The estimates were anywhere from $4000 to $5500 until I spoke with a gentleman from East Coast Moving & Storage who listened carefully to what I needed, gave me an excellent delivery time but a quote of $3,200. The guys delivered my entire home scratch free, slightly before promised, and by the most professional team I have ever hired. I had to take time to write this review because it is so hard finding a company like this. East Coast Moving and Storage is five star excellent! Now I have a company that I will recommend to everyone. .

I had recently moved with east coast moving from IL to NJ. When they started the move they charged me for more cubic feet, even though I had provided almost exact items for my inventory. That jacked up my prices to almost $900 bucks (that include hidden costs like flight of stairs) When I talked to sales agent I told him that I live on 3rd floor and he should consider charges for flight stairs. He did not consider well enough with this and that jacked up the prices. The real trouble is not pricing, this may very well can happen. But jacking up to $900 is something. To me real problem was delivery. They delivered my items with damages. My queen bed is completly shattered (although frames are intact, but all frame connector screws and other parts are missing, that make my bed completly unfuctional) Delivery guys were in real hurry, they did not even fix my TV and left it for me to fix it.  After reading few reviews, I thought my experience would be decent with these movers, but on contras it was exaclty opposite.

I hired East Coast Moving and Storage to take care of my move and I couldn't be happier. After reading all the horrible things that had happened to people I was thinking about just moving myself. But after I spoke to Kate she put my mind at ease. The movers were polite and very professional. They kept in contact with me updated me along the way. When they delivered everything was in one piece and they did a great job. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable REAL moving company. East Coast Moving and Storage took care of my move for me from Texas to California this past weekend. I move a lot for work and usually the company handles it but thus time I had to. It's not easy trusting a stranger with your most prized possessions. Rich my rep I booked the move with was great. He was honest about all the charges and gave me the real price of the move. In the end I paid exactly what he said I would. They delivered my stuff in 4 days and everything went very smoothly. I couldn't of asked for a better company. The following review is of the awesome experience that I had with the East Coast Moving & Storage. At first, like most people I know, I wasn't too sure about them. I am just that way with most companies that I have little to no experience with, and for good reason I won't get into here. So after deciding to pursue their services, I made THE call. This first impression is always the most important to me. This would make or break the my decision to go with them. I was surprisingly pleased and impressed with how fast I talked to a real person when I called. Not the usual overloaded menu system everyone seems to be using these days. I connected quickly to Earl and he was so wonderful and so helpful. I was actually pretty surprised with how easy it was to make the appointment with the movers. Earl was super nice and very efficient at getting me setup with my move. He definitely knew what he was doing. I thanked him and waited for moving day. When moving day arrived I eagerly watched to see what time the movers would actually arrive. To my surprise the movers were on time! That in itself was a huge surprise! They showed such care and respect when loading all of my items and they were some of the most courteous people I have ever met. I really liked talking to them. They were very efficient at getting all my stuff ready to go as well, I liked that a lot. The cross country drive time was right on the money for arriving at my new home in sunny CA. They made real good time. When they arrived at my new place they showed the same care and respect for my belongings as when they loaded it up in FL. I was able to to get my stuff off the truck and in my new place all before dinner. I was happy I had the rest of the night to settle from the move. I really like the company and I would definitely use them again in the future for ANY moving needs. Thanks guys!

To begin, I would like to state that I couldn't have went with a better company. The efficiency, kindness, and professionalism of the salesmen was unbelievable. The circumstances under which I was working with weren't very negotiable, but they surely did their best to move my belongings within a decent time range. 
I am an IT professional and recently transferred my home and office location from Florida to California. This means moving a lot of electronic devices, file cabinets for storage, desks, chairs, along with my personal belongings. I also have a 7 month old, which meant ensuring that his belongings weren't damaged during the move. The pick up day was on a Wednesday, and I had to be in California by that following Monday. I'm sure you can understand the amount of pressure I was under; not having faith in my own ability to get all of my things from one state to the next. So on that Wednesday my things were carefully loaded onto a large truck and I was informed that I could expect my belongings to be delivered by Sunday. 
Thursday my infant and I boarded a plane for California. We arrived,  settled in, and got familiar with the area in which we now reside. On Saturday my things were delivered. I couldn't believe how quickly they arrived. Everything was in the same condition and I couldn't have been more thankful for how considerate the men were. This allowed me time to comfortably organize things. 
If you are moving from one state to another, I highly suggest going with this company! They are considerate, kind, and very reliable. Great Customer Service, Ultimate Experience! Thank You!! .

Moving was stressful enough without worrying about whether or not our stuff would make it to the other end. The employees and movers made it less stressful for us by being attentive, friendly, and professional from first contact to the very end. The anxiety I experienced in trusting someone with our families most precious things was set to ease when I talked with employees. Upon arrival they treated out possessions with the care and respect I was promised. At the end of the long journey our things were just as they had been before. Great customer service from one end of the trip to the other. Hopefully I don't move again, but if I do I will call these guys!! .
