After responding to my request for quoto via text, I called them and talked to their representative, Brad. Brad hastily come up with an estimate based on my description, he went on to pressure me to commit right there and then. When I hesitated saying I needed time to check them out, another big discount came via "my manager". I said I'd have to call them back and that's when Brad hung up on me. Nice! They may be good movers but I will never find out. Stay away.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $15000

If you want your move to be done by PROS that have true experience in the field, with a no BS attitude that will tell you the truth if a truck breaks down, if there is a delay because of unforeseen circumstances (traffic accident, weather, etc), then these guys are for you. I want to know whats going on with my valuables without the BS. I know my move was rather in small in terms of volume and monetary amounts, but they treated with the same high class and respect as a 10k relo. Woohooo!

This is a company that is dedicated to treating you and your needs as their number one priority. They handle your items as though they were their own. They go the extra mile to make your experience as unproblematic and affordable as possible. American Long Distance Moving and Storage to say the least. Thank you for your attention to detail with respect to customer service and satisfaction.

When I first began my journey with the company I talked to Ted he was amazing. I felt like this was the company to do business with. Then I find out that there estimate was grossly under estimated and my price was off by $1,200 dollars. That seemed odd considering I had the exact amount of items I said all along. With one other option the day of the move I paid it. When asked when I wanted to receive my items I provided a date only to find out the day of I would receive my belongings when they can give them to me. Why ask me if I don't get an option? Why am I just finding out the day of "delivery" I will get my belongings eventually?

So if you want to have your prices doubled the day of and receive your belongings eventually this is the company for you. You are better off with a pack and drive yourself company. This was not worth it. Don't waste your money.

Initial Contact, great. Was told everything would go perfectly. He got everything he needed and I told him exactly what I needed moved, down to the inch and pound. He gave me an estimate, said he over estimated and that I'd most likely get some money back after it was all done. I was pleased and made a schedule. Then they called and rescheduled. Something felt off after that. Not sure why, but I felt like something was wrong. They didn't show up. called me later said something was wrong with the truck. Finally met up with them. I had everything boxed up and ready to go. I had exactly what I said I would have, down to the inch. They said I didn't pay for enough room on their truck and proceeded charge me double. I said no and canceled my check. I lost my $1,000+ deposit and can't get it back. Thank goodness I was able to cancel my check in time or I'd be out over $3000. Now that I think about it, seems odd that all the negative reviews had the same problem I did.

Where do I even begin... do not work with this company. They are a brokerage company NOT a carrier. Extremely misleading. (Plus, the other reviews are clearly fake and less than a year old.)

The sales contact (“Nick”) was personable, but we eventually caught him in a tangle of lies. Customer service representatives made empty promises about returning our calls.

Horrible horrible experience. Thankfully, I cancelled my services before pickup was supposedly going to occur. You better believe I will be fighting for my $500 non refundable deposit. Bad feelings about this overall.

This company pretends to arrange an actual shipping company to induce you to wire it a down payment but in my case it clearly sold me on their service before actually contracting. It then went out and tried to sell the paper/contract to shippers while I waited and waited and waited, incurring huge costs in the meantime. An industry insider clued me in, as did the fact that ALDM&S could not tell me the name of the shipping company even though they had repeatedly blamed delays on "the driver." Thus far, they have refused my request for a refund, or even to negotiate a settlement, so my next stop, after posting this review wherever I can, will be to alert federal and state authorities about this sophisticated wire fraud scam.

Total scam business-never came-almost 3 weeks later and still no word-actually removed our contract from their files so no longer retrievable; It's like they just erased our presence; please save yourself the grief

Look them up on Facebook, mymovingreviews.com, Trust pilot- many bad reviews -why take the chance-they are a complete fraud

Look at all of their reviews on google -almost all have only 1 review and over 30 within last 3 weeks-very suspicious -since we placed our first bad review the "good reviews" jumped from 50 total to 80+ in 2 weeks. Our review is totally legit-email me if you like.

First Nick promised pickup would be on time then we were unable to contact him again. Then Tyler Hanson contacted us to tell us we owed them another $471.17 on top of initial deposit of $876.00 because it appeared that my son had more than originally calculated -since they already had my deposit I had no choice -actually they estimated 20 boxes but he had 4. He'd didn't have that much stuff.

We contacted them multiple times a day-were constantly told that they were about to contact the dispatcher but nothing ever materialized.

They knew from first conversation that my son was pressed for time and assured us no problem.

5/15/21-day of move-told repeatedly they would call us shortly-no show

5/16/21-told they were coming-no show despite assurances

for each of the following "pickup dates" we had to pay someone to wait for them as my son had to leave for his new job.

5/17/21-definitely coming today-no show

5/19/21-Joe told us arriving between 6pm- 8pm- no show

5/20/21-Told again arriving between 6pm-8pm-no show

5/21/21-Joe again promised arrival between 5pm-8pm- no show

5/22/21-told movers backed out of job-only informed us after we called multiple times; after more calls told us that they can not contact dispatcher as they are not available over the weekends

we stopped calling as we got nowhere with them-told-they repeated the same old lines as if rehearsed just to get us off the phone-don't give them any money- they insisted on bank wire transfers -very suspicious- we should have known that something was not right

As of June 2 we have never heard from this company again- It's been over 10 days with no word from them

they never did the job-but they kept the money
