Deceptive and not willing to take responsibility

I was also told my move would cost $1418.06. In my initial conversation with Ryan, he also told me that I would be able to make my payment due at pickup via credit card and the moving company was not able to accommodate that request. I explained my items over and over again to Ryan and he still put down the wrong items. I told him several times that I have a king and queen mattress sets with the mattress and box springs. He did not include the box springs into the quote. Because I am only a customer, when I reviewed the quote, I thought the description of king and queen mattress also included the box springs. I was angry and surprised to find out that the quote did not include the box springs.

When I received the called for my final list of items, I asked to include a few more items into the quote and I was allotted 397 cubic feet and my move costs increased to $2149.38. I even removed 15 boxes that I previously said that I would move. That increase was substantial especially since I only added a kitchen table and the box springs that should have been added in the first place.

Prior to the move date, I called several times to find out how much it would cost for me to add items to my move so that I would have a good estimate of how much the move would cost and I was that I would receive a call a week prior to my move date to discuss that. Almost every time I called; I was on hold for an hour to longer only to be hung up on when the call was finally answered. I did not get that call until 2 days before my move was scheduled.

A day prior to my scheduled move date, I got a call asking if my items could be picked up early. Regretfully, I agreed because I wanted to more time to prepare for the move especially because I was sick the week before. When the movers arrived, I was told that the items I had exceeded the cubic feet that I was being allotted for my move and that my mattresses alone took up that cubic footage. The movers also did not have the corrected final items paperwork that included the additional items that I wanted to move and I had to pay even more money ($2717.95). I had no way to dispute this practice. There is no way I should have been told one price over the phone then another in person without anyway to dispute this at the time of the move. I was also told that I would not be able to use my credit card to pay for the pickup costs. I was angry. Of course, the contract that I signed worked to the favor the company and I was not allowed to cancel without losing my deposit. I wanted to cancel because I was deceived the entire time.

As the move commenced, the movers damaged a part of the wall coming down a set of stairs by scrapping the box spring against it. They also put both of my metal bed frames together incorrectly and did not tell me they did not know how to put them together. All they had to do was ask me and I would have told them how to properly put the frames together or I could have done it myself. When I called their dispatch to complain I was further insulted because I was told that the metal frames are affected by weight. I have had the frames for several years now. My weight was not the problem. The problem was that the movers did not attach the middle support to the frame and the had the extension piece that transforms the mattress to different sizes on upside down and the middle extender could not be connected to the frame. The picture I attached shows that middle support laying on the floor after I took the mattress and box spring off. The middle support is laying there because the movers did not even attach it.

When I sat on the bed there was no middle support which caused the frame to collapse and bend, the bed to collapse, and the frame was not repairable. I had to purchase a new frame because of this. It was a good thing that I decided to check the queen bed frame after the incident with the king bed frame because I learned that that frame was also just thrown together and the mattresses where not even fitting in the frame correctly because the movers put them together without fully extending the railings. I would like this matter resolved. I cannot believe that I paid over $2100 to be treated in such a deceptive manner and that your company can operate with no regard for customer service or satisfaction.

I debated several times about whether to write file a complaint. I work too hard to spend and be mistreated by a company. I called customer service was told that all I can do with write an email to complain. I cannot even get in contact with anyone to get a new invoice. It is like the company put me on a do not call list and is not answering any of my calls. I am tried of this and US Pro Movers needs to be put out of business. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE CHEATED.

Total Rip off

This company is a total rip off. I was told they would arrive on March 28th around 9AM, which was the 2nd day of the delivery window. I never received a phone call stating that there was a problem.I was then told they would be there on March 29th, still no one came.I called numerous times finally on March 30th I was told that the truck broke down and no one would be coming as no truck was coming up towards WA state.and I would be getting a refund in 10 days. Well we are on July 12th and still no refund! No one returning emails etc. Customer Service is rude and hangs up on you! Tells you to email corporate and they will get back to you! I would just want my 839.00 + 400.00 for a grand total of $1239 back. I would have gladly used the service, but when you cancel the service I deserve prompt reply.

Their service was top notch.

We recently used US Pro Moving and Logistics for our move. I received two phone calls earlier in the week to confirm their arrival date and time. Moving is a tough event not only on the customer but the crew themselves. They all worked extremely hard the entire time and were so professional, literally interacting with me all day with a smile on their face. They made our stressful a whole lot easier.

Our quote was quick and very accurate. On the day of our move, We had 4 movers for the day of our move. They were fantastic! Word Experience ever.

This company literally gave me no time to cancel my order I’m out $1500 they said that they where good on BBB I checked and they have no information on this company. I asked for a quote they told me it will be $5500 and I said that sounds good. Weeks later they called my wife and told her it’s going to be $11000 then I asked can they just cancel my order they said sure. I get a call back from them they advised me that they will not refund me my money I told them the guy I talked to that gave me my quote he said you will have time to cancel and order and I will get refund my money back. They told me that there policy changed from 72 hours to 10 days and and that I signed the contract on there 72 hour policy and they can not do anything about this. So I advice all my military brothers and sister to use another company so you won’t have to deal with the same nightmare I am going through.

Brokers not movers -- low quote raised twice.

Only the positive reviews showed up last time I looked. I thought I was dealing with a professional, who was experienced with the furnishings associated with a 1-bedroom. He rushed me through the items, giving me a "discount" if I booked that day -- not asking about lamps, pictures, rugs, etc.. The appraiser said the items were not correctly described, increased my price. The movers did the same . The final was 75% over estimated total.

OMG what a nightmare, they are only brokers that quoted us one price and after inventory review , added more money to over 5,000 and then I paid over 3,000 up front which on the phone I was told it was a deposit and then after they sent a truck to small for our stuff , the drivers now demanded 10,000 more!! what, how crazy is that?? And it wasn't a deposit after all they then told me it is there Broker Fee, Wow! , really, to make matters even worse the drivers now needed a 2nd truck for another 4.500.00!! Then it was hard to get in touch after that, and now I am told that we won't get our stuff for 3 WEEKS!! These company's our Gangsters and liars and are getting away with it! I will be reaching out to the PUC & the BBB & the DOT! They are taking advantage of people in a bad way! I made sure to tell them about the square footage at least 4 times! Stay away , they are crooks!! Be careful when you go to move across state.

US Pro Don’t use them!!

Run away as fast as you can.

They were suppose to move me on Monday. Didn’t show didn’t call. When I called them they said they gave a two day window and now they will pick up Tuesday.

Now they will not answer the phone and I have a house full of furniture that still needs to be moved.

Only gave them 1 star because I had to in order to post the review.

Moving is hectic enough without dealing with problems.

From the service I have received the good reviews have to be fake.

Fraud Company they Keep your deposit.

Fraud Alert. DO NOT BELIEVE THESE POSITIVE REVIEWS. Canceled within 24 hours of the first contact. Was told by the manager I could get a refund $871. This company should be investigated by the Federal Trade Commission. Save yourself from this company's practices. Discussing with my attorney on next steps. I'm pissed Tracy LeBlanc.

All our goods were professionally packed.

After submitting my interest, Charles was so quick to contact me, then willing to come and give a survey later that same day, which he emailed me promptly the day afterwards. Then, on the day at exactly the time he would specified, 3 guys arrived promptly to pack everything up and drive it to my new flat, unpack it and set up. Afterwards they encouraged me to check the van after to make sure everything had been brought in. Really couldn't ask for more.

The whole experience was much more master than I had ever experienced in the past. I liked how there was a first clip meeting for an appraisal and then future communication to confirm everything. Scam.

Please avoid them at all cost! I had scheduled a move and the movers never showed up. After countless phone calls and emails with no response I finally receive a text message back from their emergency text line stating my message was sent to Dispatch and is aware and will be in contact with a solution. Unfortunately for me and my family my lease ends in 2 days and since this company doesn’t work weekends and contact with them is basically non existent I have to find a different solution to move all my belongings in 2 days. Thanks again to these scam artist. Do yourself and your wallet a favor and avoid the hassle with dealing with this company.

Highly recommended.

Tony and Ed were on time, efficient, and got the job done well. They came in under quote, which was very fair. They weren't great talkers, but were polite and, most importantly, communicated what needed to be done and asked for my preferences. They also did an informal check in/check out where they circled back to make sure I was satisfied. They pointed out a piece of furniture that was previously damaged on the shipping from side, which was very appreciated and not at all their fault. Made a stressful move less so, which is the best value of all.

Everything was very well protected.

We hired US Pro Moving and Logistics for a move from our 3rd floor apartment to a 3 bedroom home in the suburbs. David and his crew were right on time and got straight to work. They were efficient, professional and packed that moving truck so well! They wrapped all my delicate with blankets and my china with cardboard, blankets and tape. I'd hire them again for my next move!
