Long-distance move from Avoca, MI to Owanka, SD

Call them! They’re great!

I just wanted to find an extra way to say thank you to Trinity Relocation Group got all their hard work. Our move was not easy. We were moving a very large house with number of heavy items. I wasn’t sure they’d be able to handle it all but they took care of it like pros. I am so happy with everything that went on and the way they treated me as a customer. If you want affordable prices but full service movers who will work hard to make sure you’re moved on time and that your things are in good condition this is the company.

Long-distance move from Surgoinsville, TN to Malone, NY

Very impressive.

The movers I got were great. They moved me very quickly to my new home. I had no damage to anything which was impressive because I had two flights of stairs for them to deal with. They also were right on time which was hugely important because I had to start my job in a new state only a few days later and couldn’t afford to have my stuff delayed. They got everything done when they said they would. I’m very impressed with this company.

My first choice!

The crew from Trinity moved us a few weeks ago and we were so impressed with the way our handled our move. This is really a company with some integrity. We moved all the way from Tennessee so it wasn’t an easy haul for them but they handled it like pros. They really treated all of our possessions as if they were their own. I would hire them again in a minute. They are hands down my first choice!

Positive move.

I have nothing but great things to say about my experience moving with Trinity Relocation Group. Their estimate was right on target for our budget and they didn’t charge any extra or surprise fees. They were on time and very efficient with everything. It’s clear they’re not new to this and have a lot of experience. Their crew worked very hard with no complaints at all. It was just a great experience and I wanted to take the time to recommend these guys.

Excellent movers.

I haven’t always had the best luck with movers in the past but I’d heard good things about Trinity Relocation Group and decided to give them a shot. I am really glad that I did. They did an outstanding job. They were friendly, efficient, and very fast. They took all the stress out of moving. The next time I move I will definitely used Trinity Relocation Group. Thank you guys so much!

Long-distance move from Bloomfield Hills, MI to Dayton, OH

Thank you very much.

After the last time I moved on my own I promised myself I would hire someone the next time. Doing it yourself is kind of a nightmare as I’m sure most people know. I kept my promise to myself and ended up hiring Trinity Relocation Group. The office staff was helpful and accommodating with all my moving needs. Their movers were fast but very careful with our things. I don’t plan on moving again for a very long time but if I do I will be calling this company again. Thank you very much Trinity.

I've yet to actually receive my Furniture after TWO WEEKS.

I have yet to actually RECEIVE my things after getting them picked up 14 days ago. I was moving FEWER THAN 200 miles so they clearly just put me on the back burner and my "1-5 day" estimate is going on 14 days. Additionally, I had to move some of my things for the movers because they only brought 1 mover and his friend who had never even folded a box (he literally had to be instructed how to fold a box).

Customer service said "they'd get back to me" and they rarely would. I don't even know WHERE my stuff has been for the past two weeks. They don't communicate at all. To say I will not be using Trinity again would be being polite. I can't in any faith support this company at all. They clearly don't care about people. You can't expect people to live out of a suitcase for TWO WEEKS. This is completely unacceptable.

They then (without prompt) say they wont charge me less for this ridiculous wait. So still full price for absolutely piss poor moving.

The best relocation ever.

I do not think there is another moving company with so much prowess. So far, these are the best people to move with. They are very fast when it comes to service delivery. Most notably, they are very careful when it comes to handling individual customers. I loved the way they were able to facilitate my relocations. It was a lovely experience. Each member of the crew took his duties seriously - always ensuring that all was perfect. I am grateful for what they did. Observing you do all that, someone would have imagined how easy that task was. They made something that would have been so difficult and less attractive to be pleasurable. You are so great - I must admit.

Long-distance move from Billings, MT to Flagstaff, AZ

Trinity Relocation Group: TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

TRINITY was this worst moving contractor I've worked with and I have hired interstate movers 4 times now to relocate for work. They said they would send a crew of 4 workers to load my belongings for my move from Billings, Montana to Flagstaff, Arizona. Two movers showed up in a flea-bitten truck covered in graffiti and it had different company logos than the company Trinity hired for my move. The moving truck didn't even have a ramp for easy access into and out of the cargo bay so the movers had to use a step ladder all day to carry my items into the truck bed. It took the movers almost 9 hours to load my 3 bedroom home and everything was packed by myself 3 weeks in advance of my move. The movers Trinity hired also refused to provide me with receipts for the cash payments I had made totalling $8700.00. What professional moving company refuses to provide the customer with receipts? Even Taco Bell gives the customer a receipt when you purchase a .99 cent taco. When I called Trinity to bring up these issues the staff in the so-called "customer service" department was very rude and confrontational with me when I brought up legitimate concerns about the movers Trinity had hired which has a long list of customer complaints and poor reviews on Facebook and online. The salesman at Trinity was completely abrasive and unhelpful after I made numerous calls and sent texts to Trinity seeking help with the completely unprofessional California based fly by night moving company Trinity hired on my behalf. I had absolutely no say in who Trinity hired to handle my belongings and stored all of my stuff who knows where?! I continued to try to reach out to Trinity for help when the movers Trinity had hired claimed the could not find my payments in their bank accounts after I went to the bank and made wire transfers. The bank said the deposits were indeed made but the movers didn't have any answers when I called them to inquire about the deposits and asking for updates on the location of my belongings and when my movers would deliver my stuff. Still NO receipts..after numerous requests for paper trails showing the money I paid and the contract for my move. Trinity refused to step in and contact the movers they had hired and after a series of phone calls, emails and texts to Trinity they continued to ignore me as a paying customer. I guess Trinity had their money so what do they care if the move was completed or not? Plus I can tell there was no effort by Trinity to vet the company they hired and they could careless if they followed through with the customer about the whereabouts of my belongings and the large amounts of cash paid to the movers with no receipts and no sense of communicating with the paying customers and the huge amount of financial responsibility in the contracts signed with Trinity. FINALLY after 5 weeks my items were delivered but no thanks to Trinity..my move was completed because I took it upon myself to continue to call the movers directly and apply pressure on them to get the move finished
TRINITY RELOCATION did NOTHING to help me after they received my payment and the staff was extremely unprofessional and incompetent. I plan to file complaints with the Better Business Bureau, Federal Transpotation Department and Florida Attorney Generals office..consumer affairs division. Florida is the home state for Trinity and good thing because if it was closer I'd drive out to their offices and protest their shoddy company in person. Do yourself a huge favor and avoid Trinity Relocation Group at all costs. Its stressful enough moving long distances without this group of unpolished amateurs putting up a fight along the way. Pick a different company for your move no matter what the cost.

Long-distance move from Philadelphia, PA to Saukville, WI

Move.

I don't know how businesses like Trinity Relocation Group stay in business. They should be banned off the face of the earth. It started out good. I dealt with Henry, seemed like a pretty nice guy. But went downhill from there. First off he never explained that they were just a broker and not the movers. I was surprised to find out after placing my deposit that a different moving company, Centurion, would be actually moving my items. Communication became very difficult, dealing with two companies, not getting straight answers from either. But the worst part was the overcharge. Henry quoted me one price, saying it was an estimate and that the actual price would be adjusted once the items were picked up, counted and weighed. It was never itemized after being picked up. The price was never adjusted after I was told the weight was way under what the estimated weight was. In fact it was increased by almost $400. There was nothing I could do. I had to have a money order for the higher amount or my items wouldn't be picked up and I would loose my deposit. I called both companies and they were both very rude. I was only asking for an explanation and neither could give me one but only said you have to call the other company. Every time I asked to talk to Henry he was mysteriously gone that day. The whole experience was so frustrating and everyone was so rude, in fact the one gal actually hung up on me. I finally gave up my fight and declared myself the looser. Please do not book with this company.

Long-distance move from Pampa, TX to Broken Arrow, OK

Should have read reviews first.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! ONLY GAVE 1 STAR BECAUSE I HAD TO CHOOSE AT LEAST ONE - IT SHOULD BE NEGATIVE
I was lied to from the very beginning on several issues but the 2 biggest being:
1 - "It's a pay by weight - we estimate high based on DOT standards but we will weigh the truck and you won't owe as much if anything at all at delivery" - I was told this more than once by 2 different people but this is absolutely NOT true!! I took off several LARGE items (front load washer/dryer with pedastals; dining room table with 2 captains chairs and 6 regular chairs; a queen mattress and box springs plus a lot of little items like vacuums, brooms, fans) and added on 16 totes and it RAISED my price by $2300 - again he said we have to estimate 49# per tote but we're going to weigh this so it will be okay - you probably won't owe anything at delivery. I was counting on this so I wouldn't owe so much and that did not happen and they will not process a refund.
2 - "It's loaded onto a trailer and stored on that trailer at point of origin until called for" - this is also a lie - it was loaded onto a "rented" trailer, taken to Dallas (instead of origin of Amarillo), unloaded into a storage building, then re-loaded into another truck prior to delivery so it changed hands several more times than necessary resulting in several items damaged/broken.

Baddd.

This was my first time using any moving company and they KNEW that. I usually don't leave reviews, but my experience was SOOO bad that I felt like it's my duty to comment.
My salesman was Henry Stiller, and he said all the right thing that a customer wants to hear (i.e. omitting the truth verbally).
The price was astronomical (way above the initial quoted price due to factors that they said were normal)
It took them over 30 days since the pick-up date to deliver my stuff, and the delivery guys complained how heavy my stuff were since the first moment they arrived (these were book boxes). The salesman will ignore you and push you to their customer service department which was so rude and no help at ALL.
They did not treat the stuff well, and some of the items (to their credit, small items) disappeared. They did not put together all the furnitures that THEY took apart during pick-up which was in the contract.
Anyone who is looking to hire this company should know to ask 100 and 1 questions before paying. Just use Pods cause at the end, it'll save you more from cost to headaches.

RE: Avoid.

First they give you a misleading 'initial' quote to get you through the door, then once you sign up they will try to renig said quote when their QA (lol) goes through your inventory a second time, leading you to wonder why you even went through it initially.

The moving captain confided in me that the weight of my things fell below their anticipated lbs. Trinity added on an additional $300 to my initial quote of $1,550 for a move from Chicago to NC.

Then the movers arrived 3 HOURS late, late at night. They should have just rescheduled for the morning for the drop off. Total lack of professionalism, just ghetto and lacking in refinement or sophistication. Get off of paper I don't want to sign a bunch of documents or go through hoops. It's obvious they get cheap labor and amateurs to do the delivering. You might want to invest in proper training. Cheapest isn't always the best.

The only thing they move is your moving date.

Just avoid this company at all cost. They did not show up to move on the day they said they are coming to move. They did not call and did not pick up phone calls. We call again next morning and they told us they have to push it to the next day because they have problems with the truck. So after 1 month reservation so that we can move on the day we want to move, they completely F it up.

Trinity Van Lines is a class operation making a very stressful time in one’s life easier to deal with. The movers were super communicative keeping us informed every step of the way. The movers on the front end were top notch and obviously have done this many times. Everything was inventoried and packed very safely. The crew was pleasant and thorough. On the delivery end same story different people but same professionalism in all aspects. No damage to any belongings and nothing lost. Delivery was within the window they gave us, albeit on the outer edge, but it was all good!

Highly recommend Trinity and I would use them again except -- I'm NEVER moving again this is my last stop!!

Talking to nice reps is simply NOT ENOUGH!!

I have to say that I greatly appreciate the 3 different representatives that I've had the opportunity to talk to. However, I was given different information from all of them and I'm still waiting on the furniture and personal belongings to be delivered. It has been well over a month now and we are sitting in the apartment on the floor and sleeping on the air mattress. Hopefully, we can get some resolution soon. We moved from California to Ohio and have nothing :(.

They will rip you off.

I was given an estimate of $1,400 when I called and told them the list of items I had. After movers came to my place they initially said I had extra stuff and charged me $700 more which is 50% of the original quote. I had the same items I told them over the phone. Their service is bad too, came a day late for pick up and delivered a day late. I suggest you look for another option.

Long-distance move from Milwaukee, WI to Nashville, TN

Excellent customer service/ initial miscommunication about delivery.

PROS: I found the customer service department to be excellent. I worked with Tracy and Lisa, who took the time to explain the steps of my move and the status of my delivery. They were extremely patient with me during a time when I was high maintenance. They were also very helpful on the day of my delivery when the moving crew tried to fine me an elevator fee, which is covered for you through Trinity's policy. The movers that were used through Trinity as a broker were very professional, courteous, and efficient. When my delivery was all said and done, there were no missing boxes/ furniture. I had a lot of glassware (that I had packed with bubble wrap) but still expected that there would be some damage. Everything came completely unharmed.

CONS: While I was so impressed when booking with them, especially since they are supposedly the #1 moving company, I felt that there was miscommunication regarding expected delivery windows. From pick-up date to delivery, the total time was 13 days for a ~500 mile move. On booking, I was told it would be much less. I think it is important to be weary of this; if prompt delivery is a priority to you, this may not be the best option. It was also not made clear to me upon booking that this company is a broker -- they hire local movers. Moving Depot was who they booked for me, and they did not give me much notice before arriving on pick-up or delivery. For example, I did not even get 24 hours notice before delivery. This was not Trinity's fault, but it is important to note that you will be dependent on another company that Trinity arranges for you.

ASIDES: While Trinity is very up front about any possible charges, know that the long-carry fee (more than 75 ft. from truck to delivery) is very common, so expect that you will be paying 75$ more based on the crew's discretion. I was also charged an extra $400 from my original estimate based on "items being bulkier than expected." From my research, it seems that it is usually more accurate for weight-based charges rather than volume-sized, but this is up for debate.

Shady.

Do not use this company! They are a broker and don't actually come out to move you. They give you a quote over the phone and based on space in a truck which they determine. When the movers actually arrived and looked around they increased the price $2500 based on the fact that the furniture was "over sized." We only had 1 bedroom set and a dining room set. Thats all! Not a house full of oversized furniture 2 rooms. The managers excuse was that it was a phone quote. I told the manager they are the professionals and should have asked asked for measurement or pictures to verify their quote to avoid surprise increases. They are a dishonest company and realize once they get there you are over a barrel and will have no choice but to use them or lose your deposit! The manager was rude and unwilling to work with my 70 year old mom. Get a local mover or reputable big company . In the end you will save money! 2 rooms of furniture a a 2000sq ft home worth of boxes $9200 from Texas to Kentucky! Con Artist!!

Long-distance move from Raleigh, NC to Las Vegas, NV

Worst decision ever.

Everyone needs to understand this company is a BROKER. They hire different companies to handle your move.

That being said I moved from NC to NV. I moved into my apartment on the May 13th and did nkt get my stuff until May 28th.

I told them to store my stuff on the west coast. They hired a Maryland based company, Amaryland. So my stuff was stored as far away as possible.

They deliver to you on a full sized 18 wheeler. If they cannot navigate to you guess whose fault it is? Yours. YOU will have to rent a Uhaul and then unload everything by yourself or "re-hire" the movers. So on top of the $3k moving, I had to rent a full size U haul and pay 2 movers to help me.

Upon transferring things from their truck to the Uhaul it was clear that they do not care. My brand new kayak, Bigfish 108, was totalled. My queen sleighbed headboard and footboard are also totalled. And my Harbor Freight folding trailer was destroyed.

I have not unpacked everything but the 1 thing I wanted to be safe was kayak and trailer. The bedframe was only $350 and no matching set so that didn't kill me when it had a fist sized puncture through it. Totalling my $1800+ kayak with a hole and crack through the entire boat and destroying my trailer via standing wheels and signals on the other hand? I am heated.

I have left 2 voicemails to TRS and no call back to discuss the quality of Amaryland.

A broker does not have your best interest in hand. Once paid you will never hear from them again and they will continue to hire the cheapest movers.

Hire a company yourself or rent a Uhaul and move it yourself. You will be thankful in the longrun if you cherish the things you are moving.

Amazing Job!

This was the first time I used them. They are highly recommended. They took care of every piece. Wrapped and secured everything with blanket and then wrapped 5 or 6 times over. Took extra caution when moving up the stairs, we had some extra stuff and they said, no worries. Even asked questions to make sure they get everything. Didn’t leave until they knew we were satisfied. A plus. Thank you for the extra safety and delivery. Even reassembled items.
