Long-distance move from Chicago, IL to Greenwich, CT

Homeless and hopeless

It’s been a week since Trinity picked up everything we own on the world to move out of Chicago to Connecticut. We were told delivery in 2 to 7 days from pickup. So our stuff should be here right? Nope! Called the company. Apparently I didn’t read the fine print in the contract. I actually believed them when they quoted me that move window. Apparently there are no guarantees and the only days in the week that matter are weekdays. According to them today is only day 3 of a window that can now extend up to 10 days. I’m crying right now in frustration. How does this company have the positive reviews that it does? I got their name from Money.com and thought that would mean a trustworthy company. I may not actually receive my goods for another 2 weeks and they can tell me nothing. And by the way their original quote more than doubled when I had a final inventory of boxes, so don’t trust their estimates.

Long-distance move from Rapid City, SD to Marina, CA

Trinity Relocation Group (DOT 3218709); S & M RELO LLC (DOT 325395

I am writing to report several problems and concerns that need to be addressed with our recent move from SD to CA.

First there were several issues with the timing of delivery and the delivery movers were unaware of their obligation to show up at a second delivery address. They first told us they were coming at noon on Friday 12th March, then called and told us they had a mechanical failure and would show up at 7pm. When they arrived around 7 pm they demanded that we sign paperwork documenting that the furniture was in acceptable condition prior to beginning to unload. Since we needed our furniture, we could not refuse. When they found out they would be going to a second address they complained they were “too tired” and tried to reschedule the delivery. They repeatedly denied knowing about a second address, refused to unload and left. We were unable to reach any customer support at Trinity. On Saturday the 13th of March, after we paid them additional money and the furniture was finally unloaded, we declined to sign the paperwork. Eventually, we incurred additional charges of $550.00 that totaled to $3,025.00 for two extra flights of stairs and for both delivery locations on March 13th. (Total Bill was $9,025.00 in CASH as a suggestion to save money (NEVER AGAIN) for 1425 SQ CU FT)

The driver, Zam, repeatedly told us that he does not load or unload. He apparently believed that his job was solely to drive the truck. Unloading was apparently our problem. They arrived with no equipment to lift furniture, but stolen IKEA cart and asked us for a knife to cut the tape to unpack. When they began unloading, they complained multiple times that our furniture was “too heavy” and asked our family members to help. One of us has an injured back and when he could not help, the movers mocked him and inferred that he was lazy. Another customer is over 70 yrs old and was told to help with lifting. The lack of professionalism and skill was very apparent. Bluntly, these movers did not know what they were doing. They confirmed that by saying that they are just delivery drivers not movers. They scratched and caused “dings” on walls, doorways and staircases with furniture. They did not reassemble many items, lost the hardware, and left blankets on the furniture. In addition, Zam, the foreman of the delivery movers did not wear a mask which we find unacceptable during this Covid pandemic.

Zam refused to provide any sort of work identification number or DOT number upon my request. He said that they are self-employed, had to rent “Penski” truck and received the load from a warehouse in Idaho. Zam said he did not know who M&S RELO LLC or Trinity Relocation Services and confirmed that he got the job from the guy who knows “John”.

Last of all, there were multiple damages to our furniture.

Overall, we are outraged at our experience with your company. We had picked Trinity because you claim to be a professional company but we had no support when we needed it. We were extorted by the driver of the delivery vehicle who refused to unload unless we paid for anything and everything he wanted. Then, to our horror we found that you could not protect us from this hoodlum. We feel that Trinity sold us out to unskilled, unprofessional and rude delivery movers who not only ruined our things but demanded additional ransom, put our physical safety and health at risk and cost us additional time.

Specifically, the driver emphasized that we were at his mercy and would have to pay whatever he demanded or he could hold our furniture indefinitely. He repeatedly stated that the entities we hired to move our furniture were unknown to him, had no control over him, and were irrelevant to him and us in resolving our impasse with him. We believed that when we hired Trinity that we were dealing with regulated professionals. Then we find that we are dealing with an extortionist who has no need to abide by the agreements we arrived at and paid for with Trinity. If in fact this is correct Trinity has damaged us. We were led to believe that you were a professional company and would use reputable companies/individuals to complete our move. I can assure you that this did not happen.

Steve, the owner of S&M Relo LLC, told me on the phone that I have been offered replacement insurance and declined, now all what we can get is 0.60 cents/lb per damaged item and that people like us are never satisfied. In few weeks both companies wrote standardized email, stating one sentence of apology and link to their “NUTRAL” subscription third party claim partner. At the end please remember, you have no back up but small claims court and reviews. We would never recommend these two companies to anyone!!! The lesson is to goes directly with Big Van Lines that own their vehicles and pay their hired W2 drivers, also pay with Credit Cards, never cash!!!

Long-distance move from Rohnert Park, CA to Rio Verde, AZ

No follow up, damaged goods, Northern CA to Scottsdale

Not recommended at all. Never told they were a broker who put you in touch with local movers. Never knew name of local movers until they arrived: Cross Country Relocation Services. Probably spoke with 8 different Trinity people, rarely the same person. Filled out the on-line inventory list, then was called by a Trinity person to go over the list. They had me as moving several Hoosier Cabinets when I had none. Had me moving something like 7 children's scooters when I had none. And more discrepancies from what I entered and what they showed. That was my first idea that things may not go too well.

Movers brought too small a truck for our house. Tried to get us to move the rest ourselves. I absolutely disagreed with that notion, held my ground, and they had to find local storage that night, come back the next day to finish. Had to leave one bookcase behind which would not fit.

Delivered to new house on a timely basis, but many items were damaged, scratched, broken. When asked by mover in charge, he did not know how to file damage claim, referred us back to Trinity.

Zero post move inquiries from either company. No satisfaction survey, no follow up.

Will never recommend Trinity, would never recommend Cross Country. This coming from an Army Brat and 21 year Army Officer who was moved many times without anything remotely comparing to Trinity/Cross Country.

Long-distance move from Lindale, TX to Cabot, AR

No Compassion

We hired this company for a long distance move and put down a $1800 deposit. Three weeks before our move my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. I contacted the company and told them I had to cancel my move so I could take care of my father and asked for the majority of my deposit back. They only refunded 50%, which I understand is the normal policy. However, my cancellation reason is not normal. It is not conceivable that they have incurred $900 worth of costs already for my move. Instead, they are profiting off of my unfortunate situation. I was willing to provide medical documentation to prove the situation, but they simply didn’t care why I was cancelling. They did offer to round my refund up to $1000 if I would agree to not leave a bad review for them which I did not agree too. This company is pathetic

Long-distance move from Indiana to Colorado

DO NOT Use Trinity Relocation Services- Move from Indiana to Colordo

The broker, Trinity Relocation sales representative, Dylan Boyle inadvertently or purposefully failed to mention that our move was going to be a "split load" until after I paid the deposit of $4509.68. When I confronted him on this, he spoke over me and said that he explained this to me and that I must have missed that? After Trinity received my deposit and the conversation I had with Sales/Dylan Boyle concerning split load, I knew that I had made a grave mistake choosing Trinity Relocation. I just had no idea at that time, that the moving experience would turn into an utter emotional and financial nightmare. Trinity Relocation grossly underestimated necessary cubic feet necessary to move all of our belongings. A thorough list of items and boxes to be moved was provided by me to the Broker. Trinity Relocation's Care Specialist, Bruce Richard, spoke over me and rushed through final count on boxes. He assured me that there would be ample space due to his "vast experience". Not only did the care specialist disregard any of my concerns but so did the sales, operations(BrianFox) and customer service representatives. Because of Trinity's dishonesty, misleading quote and lack of competence, they were only capable of moving approximately 60% of my belongings. I am convinced that this was by design in an effort to scam me out of additional money. To remedy the situation, Trinity Customer Service/Lisa along with their preferred moving carrier, Moving Depot, offered to provide a 2nd truck the following day for an additional $13,000. After feeling violated, I opted to find another solution. I did not have the resources to pay an additional $13,000 and at that point, I wanted to severe ties with Trinity and their preferred mover. Out of pocket expenses for a 2nd mover totaled $9,642. Trinity's carrier, Moving Depot, indicated that the goods would not be delivered to Colorado until 3 business days after the earliest possible delivery date noted on the contract which was 7.16.21. The sales person for Trinity, Dylan Boyle, confirmed this as well. I was still in IN dealing with 2nd movers when notified on Thursday night 7.15.21 that the truck would arrive on the 16th. As a result, I was unable to be present for the delivery. This was a breach of contract. Several boxes and items severely damaged, missing approximately 20 boxes and missing several individual items (most disconcerting approx. 535 lbs. of work out equipment). In addition, Trinity's preferred mover, Moving Depot movers, were uncooperative regarding protection of floors, doorways and walls. They refused to reassemble 4 beds, sectional and tables. Moving Depot lead mover said, "we do not do that". Trinity Relocation said all pieces to delivery site would be reassembled. Boxes and items were clearly marked and literally thrown into rooms. Trinity Relocations dishonesty and their preferred mover, Moving Depot, has resulted in a financial loss of approximately $15,000 and possibly more. This company is a scam and worst case of customer satisfaction. They will not work with you after they receive your deposit. But, only during the process, Sales and Care Specialist will assure you that all of your belongings are accounted. Operations Director, Brian Fox, will use the excuse that all quotes are just an estimate. He offered to give me $300 for my "inconvenience". I am still discovering items that are missing or damaged beyond repair! Do not be smitten by their low quotes. It is a scam and I have reported them to the BBB and if I have to, will take them to civil court.

Long-distance move from Arlington, VA to Fort Lauderdale, FL

Major Problems with Long-Distance Move

I selected Trinity because they are highly rated and handle intrastate moves. Thankfully, almost everything arrived in tact. It’s a move, things get broken, no big deal. There were, however, two major problems. First, I paid a surcharge for a guaranteed delivery date that was missed twice (yes, we rescheduled twice, they were not pleasant about it and they kept the surcharge). Second, they backed their truck into the loading dock area, damaged the ceiling, and then lowered the rear suspension (yes, this happened and the building provided video footage). They have refused to take responsibility and will not provide proof of insurance. I would not recommend them.

Terrible company avoid at all cost

Unbelievable that this company is still in business. They will 100% rip you off and damage your stuff on top of it. DO NOT USE!!

I got a quote for 3800 bucks for a move from NJ to Idaho. The third party carrier they book shows up and says it’s 50% more than what was quoted. They demand cash payment for the substantially increased cost even though they showed up at 530p and it’s not easy to pull out an additional 1000 bucks. They also add erroneous costs like additional stairs and “long carry” even they they parked in our driveway.

Stuff shows up a day before my “earliest delivery date” and the guy tells me it’s an overnight storage fee if I can’t take delivery. After scrambling to have someone there, I come to find numerous items irreparably damaged and one item missing altogether.

Customer service has yet to respond to five emails and a call where I was told they’d get back to me. All around terrible experience akin to theft.

The unfortunate reality is you can’t do much besides leave bad reviews and process complaints through BBB, etc so other decent human beings can avoid being scammed by these pathetic people.

Long-distance move from Great Falls, VA to Saint Cloud, FL

Horrible moving broker, criminals, scammers. What a shame.

This company boasts itself as one of the top movers, but it holds itself out falsely: it is in reality merely a broker who contracts truck lines to do the moves. False advertising. Their good for nothing, empty suit of senior consultants know nothing and do nothing at all except for eagerly taking their exorbitant charge of fees « estimating » space, and they did an extremely poor job at that too. They threatened to send a motorcycle mover to me if I didn’t comply with their outrageous fees, completely eating their words about matching other company quotes. They provided no services at all. Do not be fooled by its own boastings - this is a scammer that you cannot run away from fast enough. I wish there’s a negative rating that I can assign. Trinity certainly does not deserve any stars at all.

Long-distance move from El Dorado, KS to Corpus Christi, TX

Move from KS to TX worst experience of our lives

On Oct. 7th, 2022, we signed a moving estimate with Trinity Relocation Group, LLC out of West Palm Beach,FL. Bill Rosen was the representative I was working with. We had received 3 estimates on our move from KS to TX and they seemed to be the best ones. Our estimate was $7,024.68 on Oct. 7th and we put down $2621 as the deposit. On Oct. 20th, the estimate went up to $10,602.20 because my inventory increased so I paid another $1512 deposit. Our move day was Oct. 25 or 26th. They showed up after a phone call on the 26th at about 4:30 pm. and we paid them $3235. (1/2 of the remaining balance) The man that showed up, showed up all by himself till about 6:00. The help that showed up was a complete joke. There was a couple there that couldn't keep their hands off of each other and between the 3 that showed up, they didn't know what they were doing. I was told by Bill Rosen (my rep) that runners would be laid down and that the movers know how to take apart a sleep number bed. I was also told that "quality assurance" would call me 2-3 days before and I could tell them that I needed Trinity to wrap the glass and mirrors and bring covers for the mattresses. Those questions were never asked and the runners were never put down on the packing up or unpacking. The movers arrived in a u-haul truck and it was so full that my headboard had to have a rachet to hold it in the truck. I had given Bill a complete box count and furniture list a few days before and he said "just tell the driver when he gets there". Ended up that they couldn't fit my other queen air bed, the bottom of a recliner and several boxes. My king sleep number bed was never wrapped, it was just thrown in the truck. The next day I call the driver to see when he'll be bringing our stuff to TX. He had me call the office and they said 30 days. OMG....Bill said the truck would be there in 2-3 days depending on traffic, breakdowns, etc. The office said I didn't purchase expedited shipping and they needed another $2490 wired that day or it would be 30 days. Well, that didn't happen and the truck showed up on Oct. 31st around 4pm in a Budget truck. They said they switched trucks because the Budget one had better suspension. I was upset that they touched my things yet again. They opened the back door to that truck and all I could see is smashed boxes. When it left in the U-haul truck, they were neatly stacked at the front of the truck. They literally were throwing my boxes onto the cement drive here in TX. They ended up breaking our 90" tv. We had purchased a tv box and had it packaged just like they asked. (took that to the dump) They broke my headboard, an old buffet hutch, a night stand that we had to take to the dump also, a piece of fenton was destroyed, a crystal vase was destroyed and missing, our red leather couch was brought in on its side and was being slid across the sidewalk (there's red markings on the sidewalk), the leather recliners are ripped as well as the sectional. I would say every piece of furniture that we brought with us is either broken, scuffed or ripped. We ended up having to pay them another $5725 in order for our things to get off of the truck. Complete lack of disrespect for our things and Bill Rosen lies to you in order to get the job.

Long-distance move from Lemoore, CA to California, MD

Use a different company

This was my family’s 4th long-distance move as my husband is in the military and had been the worst of the four by far. The sales team will provide you with a bogus quote and promised delivery dates just to obtain your deposit. Once they have your deposit, you’re at the mercy of whatever moving company they book for you, in our case Cross Country Relocation. We were quoted at $8000 for a move from California to Maryland and told that they could accommodate our moving dates. After paying the deposit of $2600, we received the stipulations for the move which included restricted payment options for pickup (cash, cashiers check, or credit card with a 5% fee) and delivery (cash or postal money order. No where did it mention the movers giving us their own estimate upon arrival. A few days prior to pickup, Trinity contacted us to update the packing list, at which point we were informed that we went over the initial estimate and were required to pay an additional $300. The movers showed up and started packing immediately, but about an hour after loading the truck, we were approached and told that we would now need to provide nearly $5000 instead of the initial quote of $2600 and another $5000 would need to be provided upon delivery. Considering our move out inspection was less than 24 hours away and we needed to get on the road to make it to Maryland to sign closing papers for our first ever purchased home, we paid them since the only other choice was that they unload the truck and leave. The mover also told us that there was a grace period of 30 business days upon our intended delivery date, but said it shouldn’t take that long. Mind you, we booked this move about 6 weeks out to ensure that our moving dates could be accommodated and the sales team never mentioned a 30 day grace period. After they left with our stuff on October 14, we tried following up daily to determine when our items would be delivered and were told sometime before December 1, which was 30 business days from our requested delivery date. It is now October 26, our items have not left California, and the moving company has yet to provide us with a delivery date. We reached out to Trinity and were basically told the price went up because we had more items than expected and there was nothing they could do about the dates. When asked to speak to a manager, the rep said that she was a manager. In tears, I asked why we weren’t informed of the price increase or extended “grace period” for delivery, and she said she didn’t know why we weren’t told. Now it becomes a waiting game for when and if our stuff arrives and what condition it will be in. Absolutely would not even recommend Trinity to anyone.

Total Frauds

The company under-estimates and their shady salespeople (Jeff Daniels was my sales representation) say all the right things to get you to sign. Then after payment, they totally ghost you and handed my move off to an equally disreputable company (Rado-Express) They up-charged my original quote of $3600 to over $9000. I've made multiple attempts to reach out to Trinity and they dodge the calls.

Extremely corrupt, everything that's said about them is true. Look at their Better Business Bureau Reviews; I wish I researched them there first. Hiring the Trinity relocation group has been the biggest contracting mistake of my life. Their movers (Rado-Express) caused more than $10,000 worth of damage to my furniture. Destroyed my TV, and my safe with all my life savings was never delivered.

Long distance move

This company is a joke! They seem very helpful initially and then everything goes downhill from there. They use subcontractors to move your belongings and if anything is damaged, they ask for receipts. My furniture, including antiques had damage. I can’t count how many things were broken in the move. I had a flight of 6 stairs goings up to my house and they charged me an additional $300! They nickel and dime you to death. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I only gave one star because it wouldn’t give me the option for no stars.

AVOID Trinity Relocation

Trinity Relocation is a broker who finds a 3rd party to move possessions and once they take your deposit, they wipe their hands of any and all responsibility. I was lowballed a quote, paid a deposit and on the day of moving the price increased by thousands. At that point, it’s either you pay the increased amount or lose your deposit. Upon delivery, ALL of my furniture was damaged and items were missing. This company’s practices should be illegal and I’m happy to see other clients of theirs are reporting Trinity Relocation as well.

BEWARE!!! Trinity Relocation services will SCAM YOU!

My recent (and ongoing) pain with Trinity has been one of the most unprofessional and horrible experiences. They will tell you all about their "binding estimate", lowball the price and have you give them a 50% down payment to "lock in your rate", then hand you off to a mover on moving day who informs you that you are taking much more space than your estimate. Thousands of dollars later you can have your property loaded only to find out that they are not directly moving your property to the new location, but rather taking it to a warehouse and that they have up to 14 business days to deliver it. Oh, and by the way it will cost another $2k in addition to what you have already paid to get your property. When you call "customer service", you get informed that it was only an estimate. WHAT A SCAM!! Im currently pushing $5k on a $3500 estimate, and have yet to receive my property which will cost another $1700 to get unloaded. I have already filed complaints with the Florida Attorney General and the US Department of Transportation and I urge you to do the same. These guys are absolutely horrible.

Don’t hire them!!!!!

Better have a lawyer on standby if you hire this company. Hired them to move me and they sent a third party mover.

After my stuff was loaded into the truck my bill doubled. I was quoted $3200 for the move and the day of the move it changed to $6700. On top of that damage was done to my house and the movers tried to cover it up and didn't say a word to me. I found out after they left. Upon delivery day the driver attempted to refuse to show up but was made to come on the day I was told. Upon receipt of my items the driver asked for me to unwrap a specific piece of furniture. Come to find out my grandmother's china cabinet was destroyed. After I continued to inspect more of my items I found more damaged. Front load washer that the drum was completely disconnected from the inside of the washer, dryer had something dropped on the top and caved in and sides scratched right down to the metal, dresser had been dropped and top damaged. Filed a claim to get things repaired and replaced and got offered $150. I didn't accept this considering there was thousands of dollars in damages between the house I moved out of and my property. And getting told "it's how it's going to be and they wouldn't do anything else" even though there was insurance on this move and they even confirmed it but are refusing to remedy the situation properly is unacceptable, unethical and more than likely breach of contract. This company should not be in business at all. Just with the ethical issues that I have had to deal with.

And we can't forget that I hired them to easy the stress of moving and has done the exact opposite.

Hello Sasi, we apologize for the confusion that took place during your pickup. There was an error on your paperwork that we insured you we would rectify. You were only charged 1000 cubic feet for the space your items were using. We are very sorry for the confusion and we are glad we were able to straighten this out. Long-distance move from Menlo Park, CA to Orlando, FL

Move from CA to FL and a lost/stolen bike.

Trinity contracted my move with a moving company with zero reputation and no online presence aside from an old Facebook page with 2 negative reviews. Had they asked me beforehand if I would be comfortable with them, the answer would have been a clear NO! Yet they decided to work with them and presented it as the best offer. Long story short, that moving company went out of business just days after delivery my items (that took over a month to ship from CA to FL). And the kicker is that my road bike was not delivered. The driver said it was left in a storage unit in Las Vegas to be shipped separately. No one ever asked my permission for this. It was crossed off the inventory list. For the last month I have tried to communicate with Trinity and I am no closer to getting my bike or receiving any kind of insurance compensation. They have tried making some phone calls and gave me an insurance company's phone number. Which by the way, their insurance was expiring and Trinity still decided to use them for my move! Even though a third party moved my stuff (and lost/stole my bike), I am Trinity's customer. Is too much to expect that the burden of responsibility on finding my bike and/or filing insurance claims would be on them? But that has not been the case. I've been passed on to three different insurance companies now with no end in sight. The response I've gotten from Trinity multiple times is "we have tried calling but they won't pick up the phone." Sorry, that is not good enough. I either need my bike or the cash equivalent of my bike since it was lost/stolen under your watch. I don't care how that happens. I just needed them to make it happen. Terrible experience. Would never work with them again.

Long-distance move from Milledgeville, GA to Tallahassee, FL

Buyer Beware.

Our daughter was moving from Milledgeville, Ga. to Tallahassee, Fl. We called Trinity Relocations and got an estimate. They gave a very reasonable quote. When the move got closer, a few things were added to the list (10 things, the biggest being 2 plastic 3 drawer containers) and the estimate went up by about $1000!
The day of the move the movers (Star USA Moving out of Atlanta) arrived in a Budget truck and were 2 1/2 hours late! We had assumed that such a short move would be same day delivery. The movers told us the same day is $650 more! This was NEVER explained to us. Trinity said traffic or weather could make a difference, but NOT that most moves hold your things for 7-10 business days. The day of the move was a beautiful day and ours were the only items on the truck. When we called and complained to Trinity, they said that if we did not want to pay the extra fee, the movers could just turn around and take our daughter's things with them back to Atlanta and deliver them in a few days! (Even though they were less than an hour from Tallahassee, more than 3 hours from Atlanta, at that point). There was no reason they could not deliver our things the same day! It would have cost the movers more to go back to Atlanta. But we already had a lot of money in Hotel rooms and couldn't afford more time off from work.
The movers themselves were nice and did a good job, except that they stopped for dinner before delivering our things, which is fine but they never called us to let us know. The whole thing was misleading, frustrating and unpleasant. We will never use or recommend these movers or Trinity Relocation again. Buyer beware!

Trinity Relocation Group will tell you whatever lies it takes to make a sale. After Bill Rosen blew up my phone for a week I decided to give them a chance. I was promised a weekend move (this is apparently not actually a thing they offer) I was apologized to about the "miscommunication" and I proceeded with the moving process. It turns out Trinity Relocation is only a moving broker. They partnered with the most incompetent, slimey moving company that will nickel and dime you on every little thing. I was charged $700 more for the company to pack 3 boxes.

They will not "guarantee you" anything, including when your stuff will be delivered to you. After a week and a half of waiting for my stuff, I had someone at the company track down where my stuff was. They said it was on the truck and I would get a 48hr heads up with the delivery window. What I actually received was a call at 6:30pm stating they would be there at 9am the next morning and that they wanted $827 in cash or a usps money order. They do not accept credit cards at the delivery, just the pickup. read the fine print carefully.

To make this experience even more delightful, the movers showed up and demanded and additional $150 in cash before they would move a single thing. The reason, it was 10 physical steps too far. They only will cover 75 physical steps (with their feet). This is the literal worst moving experience I have ever had. I would not wish this stress and [EDIT] on anyone.

Take your business to a more reputable company that puts customer service first.

Long-distance move from Billings, MT to Flagstaff, AZ

Trinity Relocation Group: TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

TRINITY was this worst moving contractor I've worked with and I have hired interstate movers 4 times now to relocate for work. They said they would send a crew of 4 workers to load my belongings for my move from Billings, Montana to Flagstaff, Arizona. Two movers showed up in a flea-bitten truck covered in graffiti and it had different company logos than the company Trinity hired for my move. The moving truck didn't even have a ramp for easy access into and out of the cargo bay so the movers had to use a step ladder all day to carry my items into the truck bed. It took the movers almost 9 hours to load my 3 bedroom home and everything was packed by myself 3 weeks in advance of my move. The movers Trinity hired also refused to provide me with receipts for the cash payments I had made totalling $8700.00. What professional moving company refuses to provide the customer with receipts? Even Taco Bell gives the customer a receipt when you purchase a .99 cent taco. When I called Trinity to bring up these issues the staff in the so-called "customer service" department was very rude and confrontational with me when I brought up legitimate concerns about the movers Trinity had hired which has a long list of customer complaints and poor reviews on Facebook and online. The salesman at Trinity was completely abrasive and unhelpful after I made numerous calls and sent texts to Trinity seeking help with the completely unprofessional California based fly by night moving company Trinity hired on my behalf. I had absolutely no say in who Trinity hired to handle my belongings and stored all of my stuff who knows where?! I continued to try to reach out to Trinity for help when the movers Trinity had hired claimed the could not find my payments in their bank accounts after I went to the bank and made wire transfers. The bank said the deposits were indeed made but the movers didn't have any answers when I called them to inquire about the deposits and asking for updates on the location of my belongings and when my movers would deliver my stuff. Still NO receipts..after numerous requests for paper trails showing the money I paid and the contract for my move. Trinity refused to step in and contact the movers they had hired and after a series of phone calls, emails and texts to Trinity they continued to ignore me as a paying customer. I guess Trinity had their money so what do they care if the move was completed or not? Plus I can tell there was no effort by Trinity to vet the company they hired and they could careless if they followed through with the customer about the whereabouts of my belongings and the large amounts of cash paid to the movers with no receipts and no sense of communicating with the paying customers and the huge amount of financial responsibility in the contracts signed with Trinity. FINALLY after 5 weeks my items were delivered but no thanks to Trinity..my move was completed because I took it upon myself to continue to call the movers directly and apply pressure on them to get the move finished
TRINITY RELOCATION did NOTHING to help me after they received my payment and the staff was extremely unprofessional and incompetent. I plan to file complaints with the Better Business Bureau, Federal Transpotation Department and Florida Attorney Generals office..consumer affairs division. Florida is the home state for Trinity and good thing because if it was closer I'd drive out to their offices and protest their shoddy company in person. Do yourself a huge favor and avoid Trinity Relocation Group at all costs. Its stressful enough moving long distances without this group of unpolished amateurs putting up a fight along the way. Pick a different company for your move no matter what the cost.

Do Not Use This Company!!

DO NOT USE THEM! They are a broker company and totally ripped us off! The guy initially quoted us $2600 to move a 2 bedroom and not only could they not tell me when they were actually coming out as they use a 3rd party movers, but they ended up calling us 2 hrs before the movers were supposed to show up when they claimed they would notify us 48 hrs ahead of our 3 day window! In the end they ended charging us $4000!! I was so upset I cried but couldn't cancel it as they already had my things and I had to be out that weekend. I'm never going to use them again and they have turned me off movers for my next move. Do not use them if you want a smooth move. I hate them!!

Long-distance move from Columbus, OH to Altamont, NY

Do Not Use This Company.

I have done several cross country moves and have never had such a terrible move experience. If I could have given them zero stars I would have. I was completely mislead from the very beginning. My estimate increased by over 25% and I was given a completely inaccurate estimate on what it would cost to store my goods. I was told $300 per month and when it came time to pay my bill I was billed for $700 per month. At that point I was forced to pay because it was the day the storage fee was due and they had my things. In addition, Trinity completed misrepresented who they were and their service. I was told I was booking a direct move and after the fact I found out they are a broker. They had forwarded my move to another company that was rude, terrible to work with, and would not return my calls. When I received final delivery of goods I had damages totaling over $4000. My total move was $6700. When I went to submit a claim I was told that they would only protect my goods for up to 60 cents per pound. Based on the submitted damaged goods I was then only eligible for AT MOST $168 in insurance claims for goods worth over $3500. I am surprised this company received so many positive reviews. Pls save yourself the money, stress, and time by booking a direct move on your own. In retrospect I would have never used them and moved myself.

Long-distance move from Avoca, MI to Owanka, SD

Call them! They’re great!

I just wanted to find an extra way to say thank you to Trinity Relocation Group got all their hard work. Our move was not easy. We were moving a very large house with number of heavy items. I wasn’t sure they’d be able to handle it all but they took care of it like pros. I am so happy with everything that went on and the way they treated me as a customer. If you want affordable prices but full service movers who will work hard to make sure you’re moved on time and that your things are in good condition this is the company.

Long-distance move from Surgoinsville, TN to Malone, NY

Very impressive.

The movers I got were great. They moved me very quickly to my new home. I had no damage to anything which was impressive because I had two flights of stairs for them to deal with. They also were right on time which was hugely important because I had to start my job in a new state only a few days later and couldn’t afford to have my stuff delayed. They got everything done when they said they would. I’m very impressed with this company.

Long-distance move from Chattanooga, TN to Sacramento, CA

My first choice!

The crew from Trinity moved us a few weeks ago and we were so impressed with the way our handled our move. This is really a company with some integrity. We moved all the way from Tennessee so it wasn’t an easy haul for them but they handled it like pros. They really treated all of our possessions as if they were their own. I would hire them again in a minute. They are hands down my first choice!
