I had to mark one star, but they don’t even deserve the one star. Doubled estimate after Penske truck loaded (no company moving truck).Theownercalled wanting more money since truck loaded up-part of their scam. My sister used them and as soon as her furniture was loaded, she also got a call from Hector demanding more money from her as well. That’s their scam!). Sent blank BOL. No inventory given to me of what they loaded nor unloaded, even after contacting Hector (the owner) and Emanuel (works phones). Wasn’t given delivery date until day before delivering. Asked many times prior. No COMPANY address or phone number on their BOL. My piano is destroyed (charged $250 extra).Both back legs to one of my dining room chairs are completely broken off and nowhere to be found, which ruined my dining room set. My curio cabinet is missing back legs. The movers leaned it up against my wall so it wouldn’t fall over. Deep scratches on just about everything they unloaded. The wooden piece where you lay your sheet music on piano is completely broken off the piano. Piano scratched terribly. Solid cherry Kincaid antique four poster bed missing one post, which ruins bed and matching mirror on dresser had a hunk of cherry wood busted completely off so it’s ruined. My boxes marked FRAGILE in every conceivable place to look are totally crushed. I can’t bring myself to look at the contents after seeing my furniture ruined. I’ve tried numerous times to contact Superior Movers, but feel they’ve blocked my cell number. These people are scammers who tell you one price and then want more after loading your furniture. They demand payment BEFORE UNLOADING because anyone in their right mind would not pay them a dime if they were able to inspect your furniture after delivery while the movers are still on your property. I went through a broker (major crooks) called US INTERSTATE VAN LINES out of West Palm Beach, FL. They sold my moving job to Superior Movers although the paperwork they sent said H&C Trucking Express would be picking up. I’ve left several messages for Michael at US INTERSTATE VAN LINES, but they won’t respond by email, text or answer when I call (blocked my number). I have before and after pictures of my furniture or what’s left of it. My sister used these scammers as well. They made her pay extra after truck loaded and damaged her furniture as well. Hector did nothing to rectify situation. This company and US VAN LINES should definitely be investigated for interstate fraud. They both should be shut down and never allowed to scam or steal from a consumer again. I’ve spent countless hours trying to contact them. Useless. If they do text back, it’s a very rude and unhelpful response. Now I find out from their so-called cargo insurance company, I must go through arbitration, which is their arbitrary. WHAT???? That isn’t fair from the get go. All I can say is I hired them in good faith, paid as I was told and they did not hold up to their deal. My furniture is destroyed. What’s not destroyed is missing, scratched, missing legs, or huge chunks of wood knocked off.
My question is:HOW ARE THEY ALLOWED TO CONDUCT BUSINESS IN THE USA WHEN THEY OBVIOUSLY ARE TOTAL CROOKS AND SCAMMERS?
I don’t even think their licenses are in effect any longer. They transported my furnishings across two state lines; Virginia and Tennessee.
As far as reviews go, both companies only show positive reviews and do not allow negative reviews to be seen. And believe me, they both have HORRIBLE reviews, just have them hidden.
CROOKS ALL THE WAY AROUND. CHARGED $5000 and all my furniture is either non-usable any longer, scratched horribly or have chunks of wood knocked off.
DO NOT USE SUPERIOR MOVING, H& C TRUCKING EXPRESS OUT OF NEW JERSEY AND ESPECIALLY DO NOT USE US INTERSTATE VAN LINES (they aren’t movers, just a booking company who sells your job to the highest bidder to moving companies that are SO BAD they can’t get jobs on their own.

Superior Moving LIED on multiple occasions;
Lied about the Cost; quoted $2,565 for cross country move and ended up being $8,000.
Lied about delivery dates;
Lied about how our goods were being shipped;
Damaged over 75% of our goods;
Awful customer service;
No one answers the phone or returns voicemails for days when we have no idea where our home goods are, or when they will arrive;
Quite simply, they are frauds, liars, and should not be allowed to be in business. I sincerely hope they are held responsible for the multitude of customers they have mistreated. Either through legal ramifications, or by the Better Business Bureau, who we are filing a Complaint with. They used to be called "NO HASSLE MOVERS", but I think they changed their LLC because of so many horrible reviews.

Superior did such an amazing job on my move this was not my first move I have taken across country.. This one was a lot better then the last. I was a victim to a moving scammer the past so I really did my research one picking a movie company this time I saw that these guys owned and operated their own trucks as well as they were registered mover with the Better Business Bureau having an A+ rating really made me safe. They came out and wrapped all my furniture and I also had them do a full pack service I have a lot of fragile items in my home including the large antique curio cabinet I was really impressed with the quick turnaround time for delivery thanks again about superior.
I was really stressed about picking a moving company this was my first long-distance move. I just got a new job in Florida coming out of college and I relocated myself and my family trying to take care of my parents. Superior actually over quoted me a took a really detailed inventory and I touch base with them several times you for the picked us up. We were stopping on the way down to stay with family and North Carolina so it was nice they were able to store belongings for a few days then deliver to us in Florida when we got out here. The packing service made it so much easier I let them come in and do all the work for me my mom is really pickyabout all of her China and they did a great job packing that I would recommend this company to anyone looking to move long-distance thanks a lot Superior.
I have been relocating quite frequently for the last 6 years and I have always hired Superior Moving Systems to handle the moves. I hired them last in April to move my belongings. They were great as usual. My crew leader was a very experienced man and he was great at directing his men. All 4 movers worked very efficiently. I choosed the Superior Moving System really last minute when the another company canceled my reservation. I was really freaked out. However, when I call SMS, they kindly explained me everything step by step, which made me feel a lot better. When they came to move my stuffs, I was not even halfway of packing. They were nicely and quickly packed all of my left over stuffs in the boxes and moved them to my new place. My roommates and I have too much stuffs so we were worried about the price, but the price was actually cheaper than the one we primerly booked. I decided I got tierd of were I was living and wanted a fresh start so I found a great location in newark but I have loads of stuff I thought there was no possible way to transfer all my belongs soni started looking around and getting rates but every wear I looked was super expensive or the movies did a bad job then a mutual friend told me to check out superior moving system so I decided to give it a try and afther looking at the reviews I decided to call and get some more info. Cost was almost doubled by the time they arrived to my home to pick items up. Once Andrew got my deposit he could care less what happened. He blew up my phone for a day then when I had any issues nothing. I gave them a precise inventory even high balled the boxes and I ended up having to leave some things behind because I refused to give them more money. I requested a delivery window that they fell outside of. I tried to contact the company many many times and I was continually ignored until I had someone call from a different number. Each and everyone person was rude and had no idea what was going on. Absolutely no communication. They broke my dining room table and conveniently my brand new vacuum didn't show up with my stuff. WORST do not use these people, I would be surprised if I got my money back.

This move has been nothing but confusion and lack of communication by Superior Moving. Pickup was 6/23/17, delivery was said to be 7/1/17. It is now 7/11/17 and we have no idea where our possessions are. They have everything and most of the fees paid. We try and call everyday hoping for an update and we are either disconnected or just not answered. The 14 business day window is up this Friday July 14. Today alone I logged 35 call attempts to Superior Moving, all calls but 1 were immediately disconnected. They picked up once today, call attempt #30 and said they had no info, but assured me they would call back in 30 min with an update. That was 2 hours ago. We are extremely concerned since they have our possessions, most of the monies paid and now seem to avoid us. Superior Moving: if you are reading this please contact us! We need to know where our possessions are and when you will be delivering them.

This company is garbage and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I have been through a lot of moves and this one is by far, no questions asked, the worst company. This move has been nothing but a headache from the start. I have been lied to left and right and ignored. I can't even tell you how many times I've had to call this company to be ignored, put on hold and then disconnected, or told they had no information for me. The only reason I even got a hold of them after they had my things was by using a different number and/or acting like I was going to schedule a move, and that's when I was placed on hold and hung up on several times.
When the guy originally asked about the items I had he didn't list a lot after I reviewed it and assured me that it wouldn't matter and my price wouldn't change. I have it all in an email that I saved. It should have been a red flag when I told the guy I needed the weight of the truck before an after my things were put on the truck for work purposes and he tells me they don't go by weight, they go by cubic feet or whatever because apparently weight is easily tampered with. I think cubic feet is more easily tampered with. After going back and forth about it the guy told me he left the drivers a note to make sure they get the weight.
A few days before the company showed up I received another call to go over everything. Long story short my price now went from $3500 to $6000. And after I thought I made it clear that I didn't want to pack anything myself, I find myself having 3 days to pack my entire apartment because the guy never put it down. I already paid them some money and they wouldn't reimburse me so as much as I didn't want to I stuck with them. Plus this was Friday afternoon and the movers were coming in a few days, I didn't have time to try to find anyone else.
The movers call and say they are on their way, I mention the weight and they say they knew nothing about it, big surprise! Anyways, they get the weight and the first thing I ask them when they arrive, and I questioned it before as well and was told the same answer by another person, when you load my things it is not going to leave this truck and go on another or in any type of storage is it, it will be going straight to where I'm moving? The guy told me no that everything will stay on that truck and be brought right to me. I had 2 witnesses right next to me to verify it all. They had another shipment in front of mine going a little further. After having very young and what seemed to be un experienced kids moving my things, sliding boxes all over the hardwood floors and badly scratched them up, I took very good care of the floor and I just waxed them. They didn't even try to be careful even though I asked them to. Anyways, I lost a huge chunk of my deposit due to their negligence. One again call time after time regarding that to be completely ignored.
I told the main guy, who did all of the talking, to stop and let me know when they reached the mark they drew for cubic feet that I paid for. They did it the first time but the second time they kept going. I thought everything was fine because the guy never said anything. When they were almost finished the guy says my total is now $9,758.60 and there are a few things they couldn't fit. Are you kidding me! There were gaps across the entire top. Now tell me again, weight is easily tampered with compared to cubic feet? Bull Sh*t! I went from $3500 to 9,758.60?
I'm waiting for my things to arrive, the guy told me I would receive it the following week. I call very anxious to receive my things because I had a 5 month old and packed most of her things with the thought that I was getting everything 1 week later. Another long story short I called and called and called, ignored hung up on. I finally find out thy took everything off of the truck and put it in storage and have yet to even start transporting it where I need. It's now been 2 weeks when I was told I'd get everything in 1 week.
I finally receive my things 3 weeks later after calling more than I can remember every single day. The guy shows up by himself and says he's waiting on 2 guys to come help. They finally show up, each bring 1 thing inside, and are all of the sudden gone. The driver says they wanted too much money. So now my husband is stuck helping this 1 guy and I'm trying to take care of a fussy baby. Needless to say I was not able to keep up with the list and my husband was too busy being a nice person and helping the guy. Once everything was inside, so the guy said, he has me sign the papers and leaves without checking anything or going over things. Stupid me for signing the papers. Anyways, I am now left with damaged and broken furniture, broken items in several boxes, and several missing boxes. I had clothes for my daughter for p to 2 years, spent hundred and hundreds of dollars on these clothes, the boxes I had labeled 6+ months are gone. I went to put larger clothes in her dresser because she was out growing the size I had for her and now my daughter has no clothes at all that fit her except the suitcase of clothes that I brought with us. I had a large box labeled pillows, bought 6 brand new $50 pillows and that box is gone, a brand new vacuum, never taken out of the box is gone, the large boxes of diapers I had silicone wrapped together were torn apart and 2 boxes are missing, my brand new bedroom set is all messed up,the bed looks like it was dropped on the corners because the corners are all messed up, not to mention the deep scratches all over it, the wood on one of the dressers is now broken, another dresser is scratched up and chipped all over the place, the back of a shelf is torn apart, the glass on my clock is broken, the list goes on. I am so over my head with this and if this company doesn't start picking up their phone they're going to have some legal problems on their hands.
Now I'm doing nothing but kicking myself for not going with the company I spoke to before this one who quoted me $5000 for 5200 pounds, that includes them packing. Instead I pay nearly $10,000 to pack everything myself and it was 5600 pounds. Yea I would have had to pay a little more but it wouldn't have been $10,000 and I wouldn't have had to pack anything myself.

I learned! When they arrived to pick up the furniture, which was less than what they had on the estimate, the driver immediately asked for a 50% increase. I offered to remove the medium boxes that [NAME EDIT] said would not be a problem because we were far under the minimum, but the driver said the furniture will not fit in the minimum space, which [NAME EDIT] said was 350 cf. But the driver said we needed near double that amount. We refused! We lost our deposit, but not our dignity. (I know, can't take dignity to the bank!Business practices like this need to be stopped. We filed a formal complaint with NJ Division of Consumer Affairs. It's a shame that this type of practice is allowed to go on. Other reviewers here obviously had no choice but to pay.

Superior moving systems or simple way the best way to go for my move I was only moving 300 miles but was very stressed out is my first time moving out of state I called up and got a quote from Andrew we went over my inventory a few times and I was a little weary about them not coming in and doing an in-home estimation. The gentleman came out and packed up everything for me they even pack the boxes for me it was a really nice service and these guys are definitely not brokers I would recommend them to anyone thanks again superior and thank you Andrew for delivering the service that you promised.
I was beyond happy with superior moving systems service. They did such a good job wrapping all of my furniture.. This was my 3rd long distance move so I knew what type of company to look for. The free storage service they offer deffienetly was such a big help!! These guys are real movers. It was so nice when they showed up in uniforms and did a great job.
Misleading business with horrible customer service.
Beware! This company operates with zero integrity. I originally connected with Andrew who had handled my moving estimate. I explained to him that I needed to move on November 19 and 20th as I was flying my mom in to assist with the move and if they could not confirm arriving and delivering on those dates that I was going to go with a different company. Andrew assured me that they would be able to arrive on Saturday afternoon and as a result I provided a $670 deposit. He told me that the driver would contact me when he was a couple hours away that day. I never received a call and no one showed up. Despite reaching out to the company and Andrew via email, phone and even by reaching out to Andrew directly on his cell phone that he used when he confirmed arrival for Saturday and urged me to sign a contract. I continued to call and leave messages on Sunday with no response until a man named David Mata called me on Sunday evening letting me know that they had my move scheduled on Monday. I asked why they didn't show up on Saturday and he stated that it was always scheduled on Monday and that must have been a miscommunication between Andrew and truck dispatch. David shared he works for another company other than Superior and was based in Florida which further eroded my trust in the company. When I told David due to their lack of communication and response that I did not trust them with my things and the fact that my mother was no longer in town to assist he still informed me I could not get my deposit back. For 10 days I called the company, Andrew, and Josh from Accounting and received no return phone calls. Andrew was very responsive up until receiving the signed contract was received and then could not be reached when they didn't show up. I was finally was able to connect with Josh today and he was unsympathetic and said go ahead and call the BBB but there wasn't anything they could do. As a result I was out my deposit, the $500 flight I spent to fly my mother into town and two days of time waiting around for movers who never showed up or called. The no refund policy should only come into play when the customer changes their mind not when the company makes a mistake and schedules the move outside of the originally agreed upon window they committed to.
This moving carrier definitly showed me that there are great moving companys out there that do hard working skills throughtout the entire process the moving speacialist kepted in contact from start to finish I don't have any complaints at all what so ever. the movers showed work work on moving all of my possesions and noting was damaged thabkful im very happy that I worked with a fantastic moving company.
