I recently used Safe Ship Moving Services for my move, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, their team was professional, efficient, and incredibly attentive to my needs.

The customer service was outstanding—they clearly communicated every detail of the process and were always available to answer my questions. The moving crew was punctual, friendly, and handled all my belongings with the utmost care. Fragile items were carefully packed, and nothing was damaged during the move, which was a huge relief.

What impressed me most was how smoothly everything went. They stuck to the timeline they promised, and the entire move felt seamless. Their pricing was transparent, with no surprise fees, which made the process stress-free.

Overall the process was very easy & everyone was helpful throughout the whole move. I had my boxes ready, but the movers made sure to double tape, they padded blanket all my furniture(& taped over top of that for a nice easy move). They went above & beyond. They even called to let me know they were 15 minutes away from my storage unit & were within their scheduled time of arrival. The front desk was also very helpful from arrow moving services, through this whole move I’ve been updated & made sure my things get moved in a timely & reasonable manner., Safe ship handled my move but arrow did the moving!

I called several companies and was very impressed with the phone service. It’s my first time moving so I have been so stressed out for weeks.

The day of the move Erick and his team from the carrier company Plymouth Van Lines arrived. We met and Erick went over the moving inventory list he explained the process and said it will take couple of hours. I am impressed with the professionalism’s efficiency Erick and his team were.

I am extremely happy and will recommend them to anyone who is looking to move.

I would like everyone to know about my experience with Safe Ship Moving Services and Safe Ship Moving Auto.

I asked many questions about reviews I had seen and that they were not accredited with the BBB. Of course, the usual mad customer story, Gave us the wrong information story. Then they told me that you must pay to be part of the BBB. I wasn’t sure about that or not but I had a tight time frame to move so I let it go.

I contacted them to move my belongings March 28 ,2025 after over an hour on the phone they gave me what I thought was a fair price. ( gave them a deposit of $1,100.46 and the would be picking up between April 22-23)

I contacted them on April 4, 2025, to also move my vehicle and good a good price. ( I gave them a deposit of $416.00)

So today April 9th I got word that the sale of my house fell through. So, I would not need either my belongings or my auto shipped. I Called to get a refund knowing that in this economy it may not sell for years may luck, The customer service people that were so nice now said no I did not cancel within the 72-hour window of contracting with them. It was the same for the automobile too, but it was a 48 hour window. Now it’s not like I canceled 2-3 days before the move we were still 14-15 days before any pickup, so I’m sure they have no problem filling that slot it is prime moving season.

They have told me they would hold it for when I needed to move. I said NO. I wouldn’t ship with any company that was this shady seems all they want is the money. I have had my CC company reverse the charges so hopefully that will be the end of this nightmare.

Sebastian from No Borders Moving and Storage was a wonderful, excellent mover. He and his group of 4 were very careful and attentive to detail. They were also super polite and helpful. My move went very well.

I did not like working with the sales and estimators group from Safe Ship. They were unethical in providing a low ball estimate, even though I answered all of their questions on the first call. I thought I had a great deal. And three days before the move, they doubled the price after getting “more detail”. In the future, I will always go local for a mover instead of working with this broker. But as I said above, No Borders was excellent which is the only reason for the five stars. Thank you. MLA

I worked with Brandon Swartz to set up a cross country move. He was extremely and genuinely kind and patient answering all of my questions and concerns. He quoted me a good price and I elected to schedule the move despite knowing that I may have to cancel for personal reasons. As promised, cancelation was simple and I was treated with the same kindness when I was cancelling as when I was ordering. Jessica Taylor processed my cancelation. When my details are worked out, I will be contacting Brandon directly again. Way to go Safe Ship!

Unprofessional and unethical! They Lock you into one rate and then three days before your move, almost double the price. I lost thousands !!! They are a broker and not the actual movers. I was given multiple counts of misinformation and phone calls were recorded without my knowledge. I was repeatedly hung up on and disconnected and sat on hold for numerous phone calls totaling over an hour. I was told my items would be stored in one place, but they were taken five hours away. Safe ship as an unethical and unprofessional group of brokers who will rob you blind. Find an actual mover and not a broker. I used them because they say they were veteran owned but this is the worst moving company I have ever dealt with and I have moved 17 times in 35 years. I spent hours on the phone trying to right their wrongs and they refuse to do anything to make this right or give me any sort of refund. Misinformation, overcharged, unethical scam artists. Do not use !!

If I could give a zero star, I would. Horrible customer service. They pull a bait and switch 4 days prior to your move and demand more money (stating you require "more cubic feet for your goods"). They do NOT use reputable moving companies. We were assigned a company that used day workers to load our goods---most with ZERO moving experience. Once your goods are taken by the movers, good luck getting in touch with Safe Ship Moving--especially after they have your money. DO NOT use Safe Ship Moving brokers! They are a complete scam. They have had over 900 complaints filed against them in Florida where they are based. They tout being veteran owned, but I'm not sure if they are. They operate under a shell company. When you call them it sounds like a call operating center. Their customer service is non-existent. I hope this helps other unsuspecting consumers. Don't be taken by Safe Ship Moving.

The van arrived when they said it would. The foreman ,Oscar, explained everything and made sure I understood it all.The two other men immediately got to work and they were efficient and quick. You never know what to expect when you hire a moving company but this team was superb and took care of each and every item that needed wrapping. I would definitely recommend Plymouth to anyone who is looking for a high quality first rate company to handle their furniture and special belongings. Definitely worth a 5 Star rating from me!! Excellent service of Arrow Movers!!

OUTSTANDING service all the way around! Roger is so knowledgeable and so efficient. Packing was seemless and they had all the neccessary supplies!! Roger and his assistant Jackson safely packed and loaded all of my prize possessions safely into boxes and I could never be so confident that they will make it to my destination safe and sound.!! I highly recommend Roger and Arrow Moving Co!! From the very beginning, Roger was professional, punctual, and incredibly attentive to my needs! They handled my belongings with care, ensuring everything was securely packed. Roger and Jackson worked efficiently and with a positive attitude. They navigated my home with ease, carefully maneuvering furniture through tight spaces. It was evident they were experienced and knew exactly what they were doing! Lastly, Roger, had all the paperwork ready and was very knowledgeable and showing me where to sign and made the process quick and easy. I was so happy about my whole experience!!

If I could give SafeShip Moving Services zero stars, I would. This company is a textbook example of a predatory moving broker that lures customers in with empty promises and then disappears the moment they have your money.

I was initially assured that my move from Southern California to Minnesota would be handled professionally, with clear communication and a reliable delivery timeframe. Instead, I find myself SEVEN DAYS past the expected delivery date with absolutely no idea when—or even if—my belongings will ever arrive. The only “assistance” I receive is a robotic, dismissive response that my delivery window is “up to 14 business days.” This is completely contrary to what was promised during the sales process, where I was led to believe I would receive robust customer service and timely delivery.

Once they secured my payment, SafeShip’s so-called ‘customer service’ turned into an absolute nightmare—rude, combative, and utterly indifferent to my situation. They provide no real updates, no solutions, and certainly no accountability. Planning a move with this company is impossible because they make zero effort to be transparent or honest about when your belongings will actually arrive.

Now I am being told that my belongings are still somewhere in California and will only be delivered when it is most financially beneficial for them to do so. Safe Ship seems to have very little communication or influence over the carriers they hire and seem to just take the lowest bidder regardless of quality or care.

At this point, I genuinely fear that I will never see my possessions again. There are many other bad reviews I was unaware of until I experienced my own ordeal. This has been one of the worst business transactions I have ever made, and I regret every single cent I paid to this disgraceful company. If you value your sanity, your time, and your belongings, STAY FAR AWAY from SafeShip Moving Services.
