We usually move our medical supplies from the manufacturer through Roadrunner Moving and Storage Company. They have always delivered all our supplies and health equipment in great condition and shape. Not once have they been late. They make moving right on time. I also see them as an inexpensive option, given that they go through a lot just to make sure that they never fail you as a client. If you need a timely moving service at an incredible cost, look no further than the Roadrunner Moving and Storage Company. They will move your items to the destination in a very safe way. I’m a distraught mother right now and I just don’t know what to do. My husband has chronic lung disease so I can’t even be truthful to him about what I’m dealing with right now with Roadrunners moving and storage. Here’s my story:

My son graduated from Florida A & M in Tallahassee, FL with a Masters of Architecture on May 4, 2019. He received a job offer in Atlanta. Because my husband was ill, I knew it would be difficult for us to try and relocate my son so I had him checking into moving companies. My husband is on so much specialty medicine my funds are limited but I didn’t see any other options. My son called 3 companies and got the lowest quote from Roadrunner. I told him to read the reviews on the company. He said there were all good reviews (now realize they are fake).

My son (Anthony) was quoted $1485 to move a 1 bedroom, 800 square foot apt. He was told the entire process would take 3-5 days. I used my American Express to put down a 20% deposit ($451). He would need a personal check on the day they showed up to pack for $705 and the balance would be due (money order only) when furniture was delivered. His pick up window was May 13-15. After following up, Anthony was told they would be to his apartment between 9am-12 noon, Monday, May 13. They showed up around 1:00pm and that’s when our nightmare began. Was Quoted $1485 but after truck was completely loaded the driver said it was over the estimated cubic feet quoted and charged an additional $1900. Anthony told them to take his boxes off he would try to get them to Atlanta another way. They put boxes in first, then furniture so they told him they would have to charge him to take boxes off and reload furniture. I was at home in Louisiana so I told Anthony they had us over a barrel and we had no options but to pay. The driver told Anthony they would deliver furniture next day to Atlanta, early afternoon. Anthony got up early and drove from Tallahassee to Atlanta to be there when they arrived. No one showed up. Anthony was given driver’s phone number by Michelle (person who finally answered phone at Roadrunners office). Anthony had to call several times before she finally answered. Anthony left the driver several messages and he never received a call. Anthony has been calling the office several times a day before Michelle picks up. She tells him the same thing, they are in Georgia making deliveries and would be to him soon. May 16, my son called and asked Michelle for Manager. Regional Manager finally returned call late today and was told the 1-3 day guaranteed delivery didn’t apply to him because he didn’t pay $9000 and rent the entire truck. He couldn’t give him a date of delivery, possibly next week. This was not ideal since Anthony starts his new job Monday. Everything he couldn’t bring in his car was put in Roadrunners truck. He has no clothes to start work Monday. He has been sleeping on an air mattress without any pillows or sheets in an empty apartment. The Manager couldn’t even tell him where his furniture is because he wanted to go and retrieve some of his belongings. The guy was the worst, offering no solutions and didn’t care that my child had nothing in a city away from his family. I just don’t know what to do. I’m not even concerned about all the money at this point, my child needs his belongings. Please read the reviews, you will see a pattern with the fake ones. All the negative reviews say the same thing but they are buried within the fake ones. I have a call in to 60 minutes and I’m waiting for a return call. I want these con artists be put on the National stage so they can’t continue to take advantage of honest people. I will do everything in my power to expose this SCAM.
Since they indicate they have zero-tolerance for fake reviews, I’m sure this true and accurate review may never be posted. However, I’m taking advantage of ever available medium out there.

You should choose another moving company . . . any other moving company. They have cleverly figured out a formula that sets you up perfectly for additional charges that are completely unwarranted. They apply an arbitrary weight to your possessions based on some imaginary items that may exist somewhere but have no connection to reality. Then, it's very easy for them to say you are over your weight allowance and have to pay more. In my case, another $800. They're holding your belongings hostage until you pay so you have to pretty much cave. Afterword, I called to complain and they said they would have their manager call me. Who wants to put money on whether or not he or she called. Yeah, you guessed it. They don't give a [EDIT]. They got their money. That's why they make you pay in cash on receipt. They know most people would stop payment any way they could after being completely ripped off.

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: $2200

I am a car dealer and I sometimes use Roadrunner Moving and Storage to move new inventories to customers all over the country. This enormous task requires a very trustworthy moving company and after years of using their services, they have an excellent work record. They have large trucks that can ship almost anything and they have the most professional loading and offloading crew I have ever seen. I sent a car to my client last week and she told me that the car came without even a cat scratch on it. The paint job was excellent. Thank you Roadrunner Moving!

My motorbike came in without any damage. Thank you Roadrunner. I was expecting it very late but it came in sooner than I had expected. The offloading was even the most interesting part. The crew handled it with the kind of care I only see in very rare occasions. They put down my bike gently and even took it inside my garage. They talked to me nicely and wished me a great day after they finished their work and then left. They were not rude to me at all. Their warm treatment and high level of professionalism made me to like them even more. I am happy with Roadrunner Moving and Storage Company, and Thank you very much for helping me out.

It was a wonderful experience that I cannot forget for many years. Road runner moving and storage have the best packing procedure in that they pack the sensitive features together and the less sensitive ones together this helps a lot because there is no damage on the property no matter the distance. Recently I got a bigger music studio and I had to move my instruments. I was kind of afraid because some of the instruments are very delicate. So I went on to research the best moving company and came across many companies, but one of them stood out. Road Runner moving had the best reviews so I decided to go with them and I don’ regret it one bit because it was the best moving experience ever!
