Living across 4 different countries and 6 different states in the US, I’ve moved dozen times using services from various moving companies. The roadrunnermovingandstorage.com by far has made it the worst experience ever. They are extremely disorganized, don’t keep promises and change the pick up or delivery dates without communicating them with you. My work was supposed to be done in 6 day window, but it’s been taking 17 days so far! No delivery yet… Bottom line: save your money and use another company instead of dealing with such a chaos and their extremely irresponsible staff.

Roadrunner helped me to move my things and I'm glad that it turned out to be a noteworthy experience for me. Right from the time I called them to the point of delivery, everything was very qualitative. Their professional manner of handling things was extraordinary and this contributed to the favourable outcome of my move. The display of competence by the moving crew is worthy of note. They ensured that all the goods were properly handled so that a zero damage rate was achieved. Moving things could be very stressful especially from one city to another. When I wanted to move from Minneola, FL to High Springs, I thought it was the end of the world. One way or the other, Road Runner Moving & STORAGE came on board and they moved my things seamlessly. The company actually proved to me that moving could be carried without stress. I was comfortable throughout the moving period because the professionalism of these guys was at its peak. I am contented with their service delivery and this is going to be the beginning of my long-term relationship with them.

I wouldn’t recommend this moving company to ANYONE. On moving day from Ohio, one mover was very rude and demanded more money than quoted in cash after showing up unannounced and not giving me any warnings. Upon my things arriving in florida, the two different movers were very nice (old ones were fired). They asked me if that was everything and I immediately said that the bigger of my two TV’s were missing among all of my boxes being ransacked through. I was told to call the company to resolve the issue. I made a claim and was offered a measly $70 for a nearly $1000 TV that was not broken or damaged but completely stolen. I’m in the process of filing a complaint and going to small claims court but if you value your belongings, do NOT move with Road Runner Moving and Storage.

I recently relocated my restaurant from Gulfport to Largo. I needed a reliable moving company because the future of my business could be jeopardized if I made a wrong choice. After careful investigation, I decided to hire Roadrunner Moving and Storage. They are very good at what they do and I can attest to their professionalism. All the goods in the restaurant were properly moved including glasses, kitchen wares, furniture, gadgets and so on. They delivered promptly without any breakage or blemish and it's so amazing. I'm very grateful to you guys and look forward to more business relationships with you.

I literally never do this, but I am making an exception this time if it helps save someone time and stress. Do not choose Roadrunner Moving for your move. They will call you numerous times and the agent (mine was Roger) will be very friendly--Roger was excellent in his customer service and I had high hopes for my moving experience. THEN..they showed up with a half full truck (ridiculous) and started by increasing my estimate by $2000, yes, $2000. The guy told me delivery would take 12 extra days, yes, 12. We got back on the phone with Michelle. She told me 3-5 days, she assured me. This was all on a Wednesday. Two of the movers had to leave to go empty the truck which I am sure delayed someone else's move by however many days. So we had one mover in the house packing most of the day. Needless to say, they did not finish on Wednesday and had to come back to load the truck on Thursday. They brought a truck that was too small to fit all of our belongings so many items got left behind. Thankfully we did not half to be out of our apartment yet. What if we did?? So then I make the drive to Florida to pick up the keys for the new house on Friday (the day the stuff was supposed to be delivered originally) and wait. Then Mike Miller is calling bullying us for payment saying the stuff is due to be delivered on Sunday but will go into storage if payment does not clear immediately. It was a corporate move (my company paid for it) so of course payment was going to be made. Did the stuff get delivered on Sunday as promised..NOPE. Monday came, no truck. Tuesday..no truck. Finally, on Wednesday the truck came. We did have two very nice delivery men and they items were in good shape and were all accounted for thank goodness. But the customer service at the top of the chain is horrible and this company does not have it together, and they will scalp you if you let them. Go with a more reputable company that comes out to give you a guaranteed estimate. That's my story!

I will never use Road Runner Moving & Storage ever again! I was only moving two bookcases & a bar from my dead mothers home, and was told I had up to 150 cubic feet in the truck so if I wanted to move more I could. From the moment the movers arrived, the testing for money started. Mover, Anthony Smith, walked in and told me that it would be an additional $50.00 because I didn’t answer the phone when he called to say he was on his way. I asked if he was joking and he told me no and that it was policy. When I went to call the company he then told me he was joking, but at NO point before was there a smile or indication of a joke, leaving me to believe he was testing the waters to see if he could scam money from a single female in a house. From there he told me I could only move 24 cubic feet and that he was only there to pick up two small bookcases and a small entertainment center. I told him no, that I could move what would be the size of two small dressers in my own SUV instead of paying $1,100 to a mover from Florida to North Carolina and that I was told I had more room if I wanted to move more. Who would pay to only move 24 cubic feet and who calls an entertainment center small?! It would be a tv stand if you really want to get technical. Anthony Smith then told me it would be $7.50 per extra cubic foot and then I called the company again, 5 times to be exact, before getting anyone to answer. Michelle finally answered and told me yes, I had up to 150 cubic feet to use. Anthony at that time walked out of my house and spoke to his operations manager who then miraculously told him the same thing. I added two night stands to max my alotted footage and he still wanted to tell me no. After the call finished, Anthony then tells me I can stop being uptight and sign the contract paperwork. I said, “Excuse me” and he then told me I had an attitude. May it be noted, I can guarantee he wouldn’t have tried this if I weren’t a solo woman- uptight and attitude are not words you use towards a man from another man. I told him he was trying to extort money from me and was shady and told him he needed to learn how to speak correctly to his people when he’s in their house. “Your people” as in your customers and yet Anthony called me a racist telling me he knew what “your people” meant, meanwhile the phrase is completely out of context! Of course I called Michelle again, and after a number of callls she finally picked up and then told me how she could see both sides and to take a few minutes a part before proceeding with the move. At this point you’re on the hook for money already paid out so I wasn’t about to cancel the job and watched them like a hawk as they moved my furniture, which amazingly enough all fit into 150 cubic feet. Also amazing was the fact that Anthony knew the ten pages of contract I had to sign by heart in explanation, yet wasn’t aware that the quote was for 150 cubic feet. Regardless, the furniture loaded quickly and soon enough they were gone.

Delivery:
With a delivery window from 7-10 pm, the delivery guy hit traffic and arrived after midnight- 2hrs late. The driver communicated every time there was a time change, which I appreciated & he was friendly/professional. Yet after my final payment was handed over to him, he proceeds to tell me that even though in my contract the first flight of stairs is FREE, it only counts as 7 stairs. In NO place in the contract is that stated. I got technical & heated explaining the difference between a floor and a flight, and then googled that the average flight is between 12-13 steps! He said he wasn’t going to argue and I told him I’d wait all night if needed but I’m not paying a dime more & would call the police for theft if he left with my things. He finally began moving my things in and that was it.

This is a shady business & it’s worth it to pay more to use a company who is more reputable, professional and can give you better peace of mind.

I’ve tried quite many moving companies in search of a reliable one. I recently came across Roadrunner moving and storage via mymovingreviews.com via google and thought I’d take the risk just one more time. This experience was different from all the others I’ve had so far. To start off, the process was explained to me in quite detail. I didn’t feel like I was jumping into something blindly. Secondly, the packaging was done quite professionally and boxes were loaded carefully instead of being thrown around by the STAFF of Road runner moving. Granted a job well done in phase 2, none of my items were damaged. Extremely thankful to you guys and certainly would hire the services in the near future again.

Once the movers picked up my household goods, there's absolutely nobody in this company who can be even accessible to provide an estimated date of delivery. Since 02/19, I've repeatedly called and sent emails to the booking agent, coordinator, etc. I've received no reply to either my emails or been able to get anyone on call.

I only write a review if I’m impressed by the services rendered. I needed to move my home furniture to my husband’s new hometown last month. I chose Road Runner Moving and Storage after a few recommendations from friends who had used their service before. They moved my furniture without any hassle and I was very happy. Their moving guys came early and loaded my furniture to their truck using their professional loading techniques. They displayed the utmost professionalism and addressed me professionally. After a few hours, my husband called me and told me that he received the package without any dent.

I moved from SoCal to Texas and from the moment they arrived at my apartment they seemed they did not want to move me. They began by letting me know what they couldn't bring without first charging me $800.00 more! They then began packing up my items (they did not label anything with my name or destination on the boxes)! They lost my 200 CD changer which goes to my component stereo system. They did not properly pack my refrigerator which resulted in one of the shelves being damaged. Some of the boxes were damaged, and needless to say, the items inside were damaged as well!! They were a nightmare from the time they arrived to the finish of my move!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE AND WOULD RECOMMEND YOU LOOK ELSEWHERE UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY TO BURN AND DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR ITEMS!!

I own a marketing agency. We were making the expansion plans, but every time our busy schedule and the anticipation of moving everything to a newer location actually stopped us in doing so. But last week, I have to know about Road runner moving and storage through a friend of mine. So, I decided to avail of their services. Believe me; the moving process including the packing in the previous office to the unpacking in the newer one was so smooth that I am really regretting not moving earlier. Highly recommended for a secure shifting. They can ease up your entire process. Good work Road runner guys especially JOHN!

Since booking the services from road runner moving, I have found all of their employees well mannered and well behaved. (Obviously, without which I would not have booked their service). But these mannerisms have not remained limited to the pre-booking case only. During the process of moving and even after the services were provided and we got moved to our new house, the representative spoke nicely and provided the reason for everything they were doing upon asking. Even someone from their office called and asked for my experience with the team too and was ready to help me with anything further if I was not satisfied — best company for the people who are just as touchy about their stuff to move as me. Initially, we wanted to have a moving service from the company only. However, influenced with the positive reviews, we decided to get their packing services as well. Now, I am glad that we did. We could not have managed the packing process on our own as well. It would have been quite hectic and time taking. But with the help of road runner moving and storage, we actually managed it in lesser time that I anticipated earlier. Definitely, a team of experts and I do recommend them.

For me, the packing and shifting home has always been an emotional task. I tend to waste a lot of time while packing just by looking up the stuff and reviving the memories associated with it. Keeping this thing in mind, my husband booked the services of road runner moving and storage by googling. These services involved packing all the stuff and relocating it to our new destination. And considering my speed with such stuffs, we moved a week earlier. The road runner Moving guys really made the packing and moving easier for us. Otherwise, we would still have been in the same dilemma of moving. Moving cost $2000 and location within Florida.

We contacted Road Runner Storage in order to move a couple of household items from Orlando to Houston. They ended up loosing a couch cushion and frame and I have had to follow up with them several times without much of an answer. I spoke with both Mike Miller and Michelle from the Miami office and neither of them have made much effort in following up on a specific time date of when these missing items would be sent to us. I called both several times and have been given multiple excuses and even an attitude from Michelle regarding why they don’t have a specific time/date for the delivery of our missing items. The other thing this company insists on is having you pay them in cash upfront so that you can’t dispute or be reimbursed for their lack of service - very dishonest. I would not recommend this poorly managed moving company at all, there are certainly better options for the money that you pay.

I was so impressed by the services of road runner moving and storage that I had to write one. We were halfway packing when we realized that this is actually a tiring job and we might need some professional help. So, we contacted road runner Moving guys to continue the packing. As we did half of it, so we knew how chaotic it was, and this was what we were expecting from the company too. But to our amazement, road runner had the experts in the team who managed the chaos that we created in quite an efficient manner. Highly recommended for any kind of storage and moving.

Obviously, all the stuff in the house has some emotional value attached. But for me my piano and dressing table had the most value for me and I could not expect it to be destroyed while we moved it from my parents’ place to my new home. This is why I wanted to hire someone professional to render these services. I explained my situation to road runner moving and they were ready to help. Still, I was confused if this is going to work or not. Cutting all my anxiety with the moving process short, at the end my piano and table was exactly as it was at my parent’s place. No breakage, no scratches, no problems with the delicate chords. Everything was perfect. Road runner moving is perfect for delicate items. Good work thanks!

No stacking, hammering and shattering only delicate handling which is clearly visible. Easy to contact them on any day as their staff is always available to guide and help. I would not recommend this company. My long distance move started out ok with my belingings being loaded into a truck. I was told that it would not be unloaded until it got to me in NY (that was a lie). My stuff was unloaded into their storage and then reloaded onto a truck from another company ( I was told that wouldn’t happen either). When I recieved my items, a lot of the the furniture was scratched, gauged , broken and pictures and mirrors broken as well. Dealing with the insurance co. Is a joke. They want all original receipts for all the damaged items, photos won’t suffice. There are so many damaged items and I do t have all the receipts so I am out of luck!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT YOU BELONINGS IN ONE PIECE!! They will tell you what you want to hear and do something different. I was assured my belongings would not be unloaded. The company they subbed the job to sent two guys who showed up without any tools to put my furniture back together. THE WORST MOVERS EVER!
