Extremely disappointing experience. The movers did not want to be there. On several occasions I had to ask them to use blankets/Sheets as I could see they were damaging furniture. Damage made to 1 desk (recently purchased for $3000), Board room table, Fridge along with other items. Tried calling head office, left messages to no avail. Finally rang and selected option to “book a move” and that is when my call was answered. They claimed it was too late to put in a complaint and offered $100 for the inconvenience. We paid $450 for the move, they damaged furniture worth over 5K. Never again will I use my movers.

We made the mistake of using these guys for moving. They broke our TV. It seemed ok on surface so we paid them. LED screen broke on the inside when we turned TV on. We asked them to replace it since a terminally ill family member watches it during the day for entertainment. We have called them numerous times including Alex the fleet manager. They have not fixed it still. Its been almost 3 months.
I have been ripped off my money by my Moovers ,I hired for a job through recommendation on one flare . terribly upset , angry and very disappointed.
Moving house has never been an easy task and quite stressful time ,it gets more harder when you have two small children.
Booked my Moovers for moving house , received confirmation from Jenny 8tonne truck with three men but they sent 3tonne truck with only 2 removalists . Removalists were good though but no one bothered to inform us that they are changing our booking and the best part without our consent.
I hired a van from Thrifty for extra cost to finish off my moving.
Rightly said it’s a mymoovers is a fraudster company . DO NOT HIRE THEM.
I moved a couple of weekends ago and the service was terrible from start to finish.
Firstly they booked the wrong day so didn't turn up on the Friday, which I'd booked a day of leave for. They came the next day and promised "Fast. Fit. Efficient professionally trained movers, quicker on the job so you save money every time". This was definitely not the case. A job that should have taken a couple of hours, took 4 hours!!
I had a total of 7 items to be moved (Fridge, washing machine, bed, sofa, TV, coffee table, book shelf) and there was a lift at both properties. They were so slow and lacked any motivation & efficiency which has cost me twice what I had budgeted for the move. In the end, my partner and I actually started to move things up to the new apartment ourselves to try and get the job finished.
To add to this, they turned up in a rented Hertz van that was smashed up (see pictures attached) and dropped my TV on the pavement, luckily it was not damaged but not exactly the professional service we were promised!
Having told the company all of this I didn't even receive a single response, despite me following up.
If you want professional, value for money service stay away from this company. They obviously outsource this to unapproved, unvetted movers who do not do the company name any favours!.
My Moovers moved our belongings from our 5 bedroom house to our new house. They damaged several of our belongings. Also they left a lot of our belongings on the street in the rain when they were to tired to finish the move. When we filed a complaint we did not hear back from them. I tried calling them but every time they put me in wait without anyone picking up again. In the end they did even not pick up the phone anymore when they saw my number coming up.
Also they total amount was far more then they quoted. We hired 2 trucks and 4 removalists and they told us it would take around 8 hours to complete the move. The y spend 15 hours on the move because of inexperience removalist who were very slow and inefficient.
Do not trust this company! It is not cheap and their service is terrible.
DONT USE THEM!! I have sent 3 emails and called a couple of times since the 10th Sept in regards a damaged table I now have due to the poor service they have provided (I am not mentioning broken cups/plates and chipped tv stand and bed frame). It’s a marble table and they have rolled in on the ground instead of lifting it and now it is chipped all around it (pictures available). They have no answered to me or acknowledged my emails and I am still waiting after more than 3 weeks!! Also, arrived hours late and kept changing the time even tho I explained 5 times that where I was moving they are strict and we could not be there after a specific time.
They arrived late for the move and damaged several items during the move. My new 6 months old mattress is damaged so terribly and when I called them regarding insurance, they put me on hold and avoid talking. The lady who's on sales dept immediately hang up when they see my number. This is very DODGY businesses and I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
The sales pitch was great, service amazing until the day when the removalist came 1.5 hours late and refused to start as it was too big a job for 2 people. We had to offer some extra cash and do the whole move with them for them start. The truck was too small so we had to do multiple more trips ourselves with a trailer. The office would not return my calls. The actual removalist were good guys and one showed he had experience, and the things that did fit in their truck only had very minor damage. Huge relief as the insurance they included in their sales quote would be useless given I could not get even contact them. I was completely conned by many of their lies and very grateful it’s all over.
I definitely wouldn’t waste my time and money with these guys again. I’m a seasoned mover, having served in the Military for 23 years. Everything was packed, the boxes were in the storage cage and the furniture was ready in the Apartment (including beds pulled apart). So it should have been a quick snatch and grab job, no more than 2.5hrs.
Well by the end it took these two incompetent guys 7hrs to move our stuff. I called the number of the person who was supposed to be there to assist with any issues. There was no answer, from him or anyone else. I’ve been wait 2 weeks for the Invoice, then today I got an email reminding me that my Invoice was Outstanding, there response was there are oversights.
Come Monday morning I’m calling Department of Fair Trading. If anyone else who has has a Horrid Experience with these Rip Off Merchants wants to contact me, I’d be interested in looking at a Class Action Against this company, to have them Shut Down. We’ve just found 7 pages of reviews on My Moving Review, most are 1Star.
This is my experience.. Absolute nightmare with my move
Horrible experience with myMovers, if you want to have peace of mind with your house move.. don't use them. Nick was the driver who is completely unprofessional and rude.. unprofessional is a very small word for his behavior. I doubt how are they still in business?
1. Snails pace work, constantly on phone..
2. They dragged 2 hours of work to 4 hours
3. Damaged fridge and speaking to their supervisor is useless as well.
I was told my one bedroom apartment move would take 2 hours and would begin between 2-4pm. They turned up at 5:15pm and it took 3.5 hours with one of the men constantly getting calls and talking on the phone. My fridge was then damaged during the process and I was told the process to rectify this was to email the company. I did just this and received no reply. I called and was put on hold for 25 minutes to be told the complaints manager was not in for my region and to call back in 3-4 days. I asked, “am I suppose to be on hold for another 25 minutes then? What can you do?” The reply.. silence and a hang up. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They are not professional or experienced removalists!
Dishonest, Unprofessional, Unethical & Unlawful Practice - do Not Hire.
This company is unethical, unprofessional, fraud and dishonest. This company is a SCAM. PLEASE DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE. They will be nice to you until they hook you. Once they get your money, they won’t know you and simply disappear.
I called this removal company to move contents of our 4 bed room house to a distance of 10 minute drive. They told me on the phone that they charge $130 per hour for 10 to 14 ton trucks. I asked whether someone can come and see the content and give me a contract price instead of hourly rate. They said they only do on hourly rate basis. She said that a 14 ton truck would be enough to move all my contents. Anyway, I negotiated the rate to $120 per hour and asked for a 14 ton truck. I gave my credit card details for an initial deposit of $100. My contact person’s name was Nora. For change of removal date or any other issue, I always called Nora and she would always talk to me or call back until the date of move.
On Sunday, the 4th of Oct 2020, the truck came more than 30 minutes late. They quickly looked at my contents and told me that they will not be able to take all the contents in one trip. I called My Moovers office, a girl picked up the phone. She talked to me and the men. The driver told me that I only need a 8 ton truck for the extra contents. However, at the end I decided to book another 14 ton truck for next day and negotiated the rate to $115 per hour as it was our second truck hiring from them and thought that the move will be all over by next day. The girl happily agreed to $115 per hour. The men were extremely slow and tried to make their hours as they are also paid on poor hourly rate. I was told by them that the truck driver gets $23 per hour and the helping man is paid $17 per hour. They took 7 hours and I was charged $861.
Anyway, early morning on Monday, the 5th Oct 2020, two other men came 30 minutes late with another 14 ton truck and looked at the remaining content an told me that their truck will not be able to take all the remaining contents. I mentioned to the driver that I was told by the previous driver that I needed only 8 ton truck and you are saying that your 14 ton truck also cannot take the remaining contents. He said that I should have asked for a 16 ton truck as the rate for 10 to 16 ton truck are same. I told him that his office said that the largest truck available is 14 ton. He again said NO, it is 16 ton and with a 16 ton truck all my content would have gone in this trip. I was very frustrated and upset about the situation and called their office and talked to another girl, she argued with the driver about the size of the largest truck and I mentioned to her that I will complain to the Consumer Affairs against them. After all the drama they started loading. They were extremely slow. Even I was helping them to make it quicker.
When they moved to the destination, the driver asked me to pay on an estimated time before unloading as his office instructed him so. This was an utter unprofessional and unlawful behavior and practice by them. As decide by the driver, I agreed to pay for 6 hours and he charged me $799.50. After half an hour I noticed that I was charged at the rate of $130 per hour instead of $115 as agreed. Meaning they have over charged me by $90. Since then, it has been 10 days now, I have called them almost every day for refund, they would not either pick up my call or keep me hanging. I even submitted refund request through email and their online support page. Many times, I have tried to get in touch with Nora, left message. She simply disappeared and would not call back. This is the level of customer service they have. They are unethical and fraud. I have called almost every day to follow up with my claim and they couldn't care less. I am reporting them with the ACCC so don't trust this company. This company is a SCAM.
-I ordered a 10-tonne truck- I got a 4.5 truck, a 10-tonne truck would have done the move in 2 loads the movers expressed.
It took the movers 5 hours to do the move, everything was in boxes part from the table. The mover was on his phone for the first 2 hours
-I had to leave all my garden furniture as the movers said it won’t fit and have another job to get to.
- Broke my front door as well as my sofa the door was 2 weeks old
Left outside furniture $6,000.
Broken front door $350.
The move was on the 16th October 2020 it's now the 29th Jan 2021 and they are ignoring my tickets, and calls. The complaints department say they will get back to you but they never do!

I have moved house several times and only regret the use of one company, My Moovers. They were atrocious. Never, never, never use this company.
I was immediately uncomfortable when they arrived, 30 minutes late, at the house in an unmarked truck and not wearing uniforms to show they were working for a specific company and not just random men taking my property away in a van. They didn't greet me or identify themselves, they just stood on my driveway and said "Where's the stuff?"
They spent the first hour of the move carrying one small box at a time to the truck moving at a pace that my 70 year old mother could easily double. They had trolleys on the truck but didn't bother to use them until an hour and a half into the job.
They took 3 hours to get everything into the truck, too long considering that everything was organised for them when they arrived.
I called the moving company to express my dissatisfaction with the service so far on the drive to the new property. When the men arrived at the new property the first thing they mentioned was the fact that I had called the company and complained.
They got me to help move things off the truck and into the house. They scratched my hardwood floors when placing several items of furniture in the house and many of my items of furniture were scratched during the move in their truck.
They were grumpy, lazy and unprofessional. Never, never, never use this company.
The worst remivalists and customer's service of all time!
Two workers from the company worked at snail pace and took nine and a half hours to move our house contents to another house within a few minutes' drive away. Previous companies we used took no more than 4 hours to move the same contents. They put many labelled boxes in the wrong rooms. They also lost one bag of toiletries. When I tried to contact the company to ask for reimbursement for the lost items they put on hold for ages and then cut me off the phone, or refused to pick up my calls, or told me to call another person and another, driving me from pillar to post. They also didn't bother to respond to my two emails. Before I confirmed hiring this company, I received phone calls from them almost daily trying to get my business. After having done a shoddy job and getting paid close to $1000, which included the workers' unannounced lunch break and rest period, the company personnel refused to address the items lost by them. They claimed to be registered with AFRA (which I doubt). This is no way to treat their customers!
Appalling customer service and tried to over chare us.
1 week later, still waiting on this Uber Eats voucher, despite MULTIPLE phone calls. Never mind that an Uber Eats voucher on a day we didn't have electricity for most of the day is one of the reasons we went with them or anything..
The removalists presented at 0900 and finished at 1335. They took a couple of short breaks which would have been more than 5 mins but less than 10 mins total. Despite this they charged us for 5 hours. I understand it should only have been 4.5 hours.
Also, initially they tried to charge us another approximately $150 for stairs and argued with me when I told them that wasn't the case. Luckily I had the email on my phone confirming this. Again, this was one of the reasons I went with them.
The removalists were slow (hence why it took 4.5 hours to move a 1br apartment with all of the furniture already pulled apart other than the Kallax to a nearby suburb). They didn't want to move our Kallax up the stairs and it was only when I asked them to pull it apart and re-assemble it upstairs that they all of a sudden found a solution to bring the Kallax upstairs.
They couldn't stop contacting me before I agreed to the move and have not bothered to respond to my multiple phone calls or emails since.
In summary: this is a company that presents itself as if it has high levels of customer service and is actually the exact opposite. DO NOT move with them.
DO NOT ENGAGE WITH MOOVERS. Very bad experience all round, would not recommend to anyone.

They:
• turned up late,
• were incredibly slow to maximise the cost of the move,
• required assistance from my partner on many occasions,
• dropped multiple heavy items,
• DAMAGED items, and
• couldn’t even pack the truck properly to fit all of our belongings.
These people clearly DO NOT HAVE property damage insurance, and hope that you will simply give up on claiming compensation for your damaged goods when they do not pick up or return your phone calls or emails.
The owner should be ashamed of the way he conducts his business - it is unethical, with zero integrity, and not to be trusted.
Save yourself the hassle and a VCAT, Consumer Affairs or Legal case – they won’t pay anyway!

My Moovers are nothing but cheats and liars!
They damage half of my goods and not replying to a single of my email, the female receptionist is the worst one there she just keeps on hanging up on you every time you call. I been trying to call and email them for several month now and they just do everything in their power to ignore you! They even blocked my number so I can’t call them.
NOTE! They do not have business address!! so when you have a problem like I do there is no one to speak to or go to, and when you do have a problem the only thing they do is hang up on you and ignore you, the “boss" Alex is the biggest liar every time you talk to him he promises you one thing and yet does absolutely nothing! when I tolled him that my furniture been damaged he tolled me he will send his friend over to have a look, SORRY no friend is mentioned on your website or legal documents you need to speak to insurance Alex!! But obviously MY MOOVERS don’t have insurance! DO NOT USE!!

DON’T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID. I WISH I READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING
BIGGEST CON ARTISTS YOULL EVER FIND. I rarely make complaints and if I do I make sure I contact the business directly so they can fix their errors and so we can have an adult conversation before reaching this point - naming and shaming to protect others. In this case I have made 20 phone calls to the manager. Followed by 5 emails and multiple texts with absolute complete disregard for my complaint I laid 2 weeks ago.
To give you a short summary on how they get you, they provide you smaller trucks so that you have to do multiple trips therefore making the quote highly un realistic and way above what gets originally quoted. Not only that they scammed me by offering it slightly cheaper as they were having a “special” that week, I was told I can pay by cash or card, but not once did they say I could only have the “special” price if I paid cash. So after the job already taking 2.5 hours longer then originally quoted they then held their hand out and pretended to not know about the “special price”, which was followed to a call to the “manager” who said I could only receive that price if I pay cash. *smacks head on wall*
The guys also carry 1 box at a time and leave 1 guy on the truck so only 1 guy is technically moving anything, which makes the whole process longer – therefore more money in their pockets
I actually have never been so disgusted in someone’s lack of after care and complete disregard for people once they have the money
This company ripped us off when they came out to our place at 8.30am and finished 10.30am and 2 people who were doing the job charged us for 3 hours instead of 2! They also damaged one of the items they moved! Then they ignored our phone calls when we tried reach them on their mobile phones. We contacted head office and head office response was ”we will look into it”, they explained that removalists who did the job at our place lied about their hours spent at our place to justify them overcharging us, after that they never contacted us back. Finally days later we caught them on the phone and they continue feeding us stories that they will look into this case and refund might be issued on Wednesday or Thursday but this hasn’t happened. They were passing our calls around and I asked for their finance department to call me back, but, as you can imagine, that wasn’t happening either. AVOID this removalists. They are DODGY and will take any opportunity to grab their money and then some like in our case and you will never hear back from them again! DISGRACEFUL service, AWEFUL customer service.
Started with the removalists arriving 50 minutes late than scheduled. Broke my drawer when carrying it and tried to cover up and play stupid. Extremely improper handling with washing machine, I gotta foot the bill to repair my washing machine. Contacted the company several times regarding compensation for the damages, no reply as usual. Very amateur and inexperienced removalists, they have not been honest, and the company proved to be not trustworthy from my moving experience with them.
