The truth must be told, After reading some comments about this company by some people that have used this service before, I was skeptical of using the service, what I did what to give them a chance by calling the customer service representative and we agreed on the terms. Alas! I was surprised by their great service; these guys went beyond my expectations. My furniture was delivered on time and I was contented with their service. I have being making use of different Moving companies before but their service has not being good as this. Everything was perfect, nothing damaged, and all their staff was professional. Infact their Service was a world class, still the best in Canada. I would always be more than happy to be a reference for your company. Thank you.

After reading some negative feedback I can't understand why have they posted negative reviews? May be they are not real users of this company. Because I got more than I wanted. 
I used Metropolitan Movers to move from Ontario to Quebec. I called them at night and they ensured me that they will come on time. Finally the next day they the entire staff came on time and arranged everything professionally. I was worried about my Glass Furniture but friendly staff did an excellent Job. Thank you Metropolitan Movers for your outstanding service and for on time delivery. Definitely I will use you again for my further moving.

I hired Metropolitan Movers for my parents. My parents were moving from California to Oregon. I chose Metropolitan Movers because they gave me a really good deal and stayed within the quote they provided. The movers were able to move the furniture into the Uhaul truck efficiently without any issues. The movers were on time during the move in date which made it easier for my parents. The movers wrapped all the furniture and fragile stuff in either bubble wrap and/or protective covers. My parents are very critical about moving their stuff and luckily the movers where able to move the furniture and ensuring it was carefully carried into the truck and transported on time to Oregon. I will definitely recommend this company to my family and friends moving out of state. So glad that they provided me and my parents with a stress free move!

My brother lives in Toronto and was going through a rough time (break-up) a few months ago that necessitated his move on pretty short notice.  I was there to help him out with all of this, including packing up his home and finding a moving company.  We picked Metropolitan Movers because it was a local move and they could accommodate our schedule.  The lady that gave us the quote and information was very friendly and the moving crew showed up on time on the moving day.  All of my brother's stuff was moved into his new place in about 6 hours, as promised, and we haven't seen a scratch or dent on anything.  Great local move experience for us.

Okay I wanted to say that many companies have given me their service and some have even damaged my furniture. Now that that's happened I usually look into every company I pay to move for me. I am not saying you have to offer perfect service, but at least try not to damage my stuff. This company did that for me it made sure that my goods weren't damaged and didn't make me go through a years worth of paper work. What can I say, they delivered what need to be delivered. Simple and straight to the point. Loved it!

Metropolitan Movers did an excellent job when I was relocating across the city. The staff and movers were both very polite and helpful when it came to the questions I had regarding the shipping costs and the time the move would take, making the whole process a lot easier and easing my stress and worries about. Everything was delivered in perfect condition which was due to the exceptional job that the team did in order to prevent my items and goods from being even slightly damaged. Should I ever need to move again within the area this team would be my go-to choice.

My husband and I were looking for a reputable moving company for our home renovation move and was referred to this company by a close friend.After giving it some thought,we made the decision to choose the company.We are so pleased;we could not be more pleased with how professional the service was done with minimum hassle and the workers worked through the challenging cold weather condition efficiently.We will be using this company again,once we decide to move back in.I am glad we made a good choice and we highly recommend this company!  .

We have recently had an excellent experience of moving home thanks to Metropolitan Movers, We had known about this company before as one of my best friends used them and only had positive things to say. So we thought we would give them our first contact. I am glad I took the advice of my friend because our moving experience was so easy and relaxing we barely had to lift a finger. My wife couldn't be more delighted. All items moved were still intact and nothing was damaged. Our moving people were friendly and enjoyed a few laughs to ease the tension while getting the job done. We gave them a few drinks of soda to keep them going for the day. I would recommend them to anyone looking to move in the areas they cover. We will use again if we ever need to. Thanks again! David.

The guys doing the moving were nice and friendly. They were a bit late but did give me a call to let me know. During the move my large cabinet was damaged, which I understand things happen.  Now here is where the problem starts..it had been almost a month and they have booked 4 different times to come and see if they can fix it and have not shown up any of the times. Inwould not recommend them for this reason alone, because if there are issues you will have a problem getting it resolved.

I saw Metropolitan Movers Website on Kijiji & Canada 411, when I was doing a research to take on the Long Distance move from London, Ontario to Mississauga, Ontario! I spoke to 5 companies out of which 3 didn't answer right away. While I am on Metropolitan's site, I was surprised that they had a Chat Log for customer service, which was PERFECT! So convenient I must say! Spoke To Greg and got the prices, then called and had a chat with Warren, which really gave me the best rates I found comparing them with that other company and he even made me a discount! The Move was one of the MOST Convenient for me, no damages, no headache, and it was cost efficient! I love those guys, and I will recommend you to whom ever needs a move within the GTA Area and around ! Thanks to Warren, he was SO HELPFUL! And thanks for making it an easy move for me . I appreciate it!

I was moving apartments in downtown Toronto and had to be out of my apartment on the last day of March and counld't move in until the 1st day of April.  Metropolitan Movers were great, told me they could hold my things for a day and they would deliver my items the next morning. Had a piano that was over 18 years old and concerned it might get damaged.  They covered it up well with blankets and moved without a mark on it, in great condition. I would use these movers again.  Friendly people.  Answered all my questions on day of move.   .

I used Metropolitan Movers just recently when I decided to shift from apartment to the newly bought house. I was quite freaked out initially about the whole process of moving, but luckily one of my friends told me about Metropolitan Movers. I am so glad that I got to know of them. The whole moving process was carried out in a very professional manner by the company people. They were very respectful, co-operative and well mannered. They adhered to all of our special requests, the fragile goods were dealt with delicately and all of our stuff was moved to our house in its original state without any broken goods. I was totally satisfied with my experience, and would absolutely recommend everyone to use this company whenever you plan to move. The services provided are very convenient and affordable. .

I hired this company when I moved to Thunder Bay this spring. Found this company to be professional, friendly & the men that did the work were not grumpy at all, they had great attitudes about doing difficult work. Their pricing is good, and they were efficient and smart about packing our things. I was originally worried to hire a moving company because my family has many items that are fragile. The company did an excellent job packing our things in the truck because not a single item was damaged. I would recommend them to anyone facing the challenges of a big relocation in a heartbeat.

Hi, I wanted to share my experience with this company. They've moved all my stuff in profesional way without any damage to the furniture and my old apt.  Honestly this is the first time I've moved without any damage. WAY TO GO!  I had some special boxes that I wanted special attention to (since they were full of sentimental value things) and as soon as I mentioned it to them. They stop everything they were doing and made a plan to process those boxes with extra care.  They placed them carefully in the truck and made sure that nothing would happend to them.  I really appreciated all what they've done for me within the short time frame I gave them. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs movers! 100% satisfied! 1000's of thanks to you and your employees!  Plus they brought me a coffee lol .

I scheduled a local move more than a month in advance, I phoned at the time when a truck should have arrived and was told that an hour late was normal.  An hour after that I received a phone call from a guy whose English was terrible (Toronto) who then lied to me, that the truck transmission had failed and would not be available for another three days.  I offered to rent a truck from another company but was replied to with such ignorance.  I asked for a manager to call and they did, but upheld the broken down truck story and offered a 5% discount. Not only was I on the hook for security fees from my strata (~$200) and reserved parking $40 and in the end Metropolitan offered me a $20 rebate.  These people are ridiculous, they only contract movers.  Avoid them at all costs. .
