I had an exceptional experience with Jake's Moving. Henry, Benjamin and Brian were professional and courteous at all times. They took extra care with the fragile pieces of artwork I have. There were several flights of stairs both at my old home and my new home and it was a very hot day. At no point did they slow down or become less efficient based on the conditions. John was our salesman and he too was exceptional! He explained the details of the move perfectly. He responded to every call and email I sent within the hour day or night. I would highly recommend Jake's moving and will most definitely use them again for future moves. I have already recommended them to other people. Thanks to everyone at Jake's!

My wife and I have used Jake's Moving about a week ago for a local move. They moved us from a 2 bedroom in Silver spring to our new home in Gaithersburg. The team was very efficient. They covered our furniture very well with clean pads. All the movers were very careful with our floors and walls. The estimate we received prior was accurate. It was nice to have a certified moving consultant come out to do an in home estimate. Very professional from start to finish. We could not be happier with the personal attention. They really delivered what they promised and we will be happy to recommend. Thank you guys. You are awesome!

We needed some workstations moved and rearranged in our office suite. Jake's was the first company to respond to my inquiry (same day) and sent a reasonable time and cost estimate. We were able to get the move done the following week. The crew was on time and professional. They were conscientious about not damaging anything in the office and made sure I was happy with the arrangement of the furniture before they left. The workstations look great and we paid even less than the estimate due to the fact that the crew got everything done so quickly. I would not hesitate to recommend them for large and small projects.  .

Jake's Moving and Storage did an excellent job with my much needed move from a townhome to an apartment. From my initial inquiry with Jake to get everything organized in their system with pricing to the staff that arrived. It was well organized. My movers, Simon, Hoover, & Manuel, were courteous and wrapped all items and even helped me box remaining items. So professional! Much appreciated.

It was the same with the delivery and move-in. They were careful with all of my possessions. I would recommend them to everyone.

I would reccommend Jake's Moving and Storage to anyone looking for movers!!  From the start to the end of my experience they were extremely professional and efficient.  Jake called me within an hour of my online inquiry and went through a detailed inventory of what I was moving.  By the end of the call, I had an estimate in my inbox!  
 
Pricing is based on the amount of time it takes the guys to move.  I had expected them to try to delay so it took them longer, but from the minute they arrived at our house to move to when they were leaving at the end of the day, they hustled and worked as quickly and efficiently as possible.  The guys were very cautious to protect our furniture and valuables and they bring all the equipment necessary to do so!  
 
I was sub leasing an apartment so I have a few things left to move - and I have called Jake again to help me with this move! I will never use anyone else!

The guys arrived and got right to work. They were well prepared with plenty of extra tape, wrap, blankets, etc. They expertly wrapped all of the miscellaneous items I didn't already have boxed up, and so there was zero breakage of anything upon arrival. Not even a light bulb was missing or broken! Crew was upbeat and cheerful throughout the day, and actually seemed to enjoy the task of moving all of our stuff (astonishing, because I was dreading the whole task). In all they made it very easy and carefree. Thank you.

I work for a hotel and yesterday we had 197 beds delivered. Our staff simply could not keep up and after putting in about 8 hours moving beds into the hotel we started looking for companies to help us complete the job. After a few calls we came across Jake's Moving and Storage. They came through at the last minute and brought the remaining beds into our storage rooms. I can't thank you enough for helping us out. The crew consisting of John and his two team members were ready to get moving when they arrived and managed to do what we just couldn't. I will certainly recommend them for others and will remember them when it comes time for my personal move next year.
