Had a great move thanks to this crew!! I might have even say it was fun. on time and early!! Had a really strange thing happen. About to years ago my husband lost a roll of cash he had been saving for ower vacation and we thought that one of our close friends might have stolen it. So to my suprize one of the guys came to me with a roll of cash and said you guys missing something.It had been stuck between a cubby in my hubbys desk he he he : ) Wow I almost passed out becasue we really could use the extra money for the move.I couldn't believe it. Honest and pleasant Crew.Thanks again fellas.

I actually had a great experience with these guys during my move from NJ to NC. Just graduated not long ago, and while I've moved a lot between apartments during school I've never hired a moving company prior to these guys. I was a bit nervous, obviously, since I've heard stories of disreputable companies.. but this team was great, showed up on time, and listened to instructions like pros.
 
 
 
Overall the cost was $3,000 – for starting at NJ and getting me to my new place in NC, I consider this to be a pretty decent price. Some of my family dropped by just in case I needed help, but we ended up having a nice visit and lunch while the movers did all the work. I'd butt in here and there just to check on things, but it turns out I really didn't need to!
 
 
 
On arrival I was nervous that there would be damage to some of my stuff, but there was none – everything was handled as well as I could've hoped! The team was focused, didn't dawdle or take too much time, but they didn't rush through either which I was actually glad of. I think if movers rush through they risk damage – but these guys made sure to handle things efficiently.
 
 
 
I'm all set up in my new place, and wouldn't have been able to do it without these guys. So thanks go to Great American Van Lines. I'd recommend them to anybody needing to move.

I have moved a number of times in my life and from experience it can be one of the worst days of your life. I made the mistake in the past of trying to move everything myself and I will never do that again. Thanks to Great American Van Lines my recent move was actually a pleasure. They turned up early and treated my good with care. Everything turned up at my new house in one piece and they did not damage my new house or the goods. If you want your moving experience to be a pleasureable one rather than stressed out then I can definately recommend Amercian Van Lines.

We were really nervous that we'd arrive at our new home in California and all of our belongings would be stuck in transit, but Great American Van Lines did exactly what they said and ensured our furniture and personal belongings arrived on time.  Also, I'd like to point out that the guys were exceedingly careful to make sure the furniture was properly shielded to prevent scratching and dents, and all of the items that were packed in boxes arrived safe and sound as well.  Anyone who had ever been through a long distance move understands that it's a potentially nerve wracking experience.  I'm thrilled that we hired the best movers at Great American Van Lines.

Pleasurable Move


 
I was moving north to the big city to start in a new firm. They were paying for the relocation, so I thought to make things easier for myself, and have the movers pack all of my things, too. The firm recommended Great American Van Lines to me, as a company they used often, so I went with them, since I don't enough about the industry to chose my own mover. They men were meticulous in packing everything up individually, and not scrimping on the packing materials. It made me relax a bit, because I was sure that they were taking care of my things. I had to have a smaller truck deliver the goods in the middle of Manhattan, and they were just as careful with my things. Nothing was broken, and it was a pleasure working with Great American Van Lines Van Lines.

Wonderful and professional service


 
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Great American Van Lines for such wonderful and professional service. This being our first move to our new home, we wanted to make sure we had the best company for the job. Right from the start, we had a professional estimate and were quoted a very affordable price. When it came to the actual move, the movers were constantly in contact with us and even showed up early to get things going. I was in awe of how quickly and carefully everything was packed. Moving the stuff out of the house went as smoothly as I had hoped but I knew the real torture lay ahead at the new house. After arriving at the new house we showed them were we wanted things moved and whereas I would have been cursing my bad luck at seeing the stairs and relatively tight spaces they, with good humor no less, began to bring item after item in. When my wife and I cringed at the thought of carrying the unbelievably heavy items up the stairs we would hear them actually laughing (it was either that or cry.) Everyone I have dealt with at Great American Van Lines has been professional and more importantly has simply conveyed a positive outlook. It is honest hard labor (something I think we all need to be reminded of occasionally) and I stand in awe of their ability to remain upbeat while doing this punishing work. I recommended Great American Van Lines to my mother for her move and I would recommend them to anyone.
