Friendly Van moved us from London to Essex. This was the first time we ever moved and we had 12 years of things I was very stressed and David with Friendly Van basically saved the day. David went out if his way to communicate, give us packing advice and reaassure me the many times I called having to reschedule. Marek moved us on the day and he was wonderful. Friendly Van went over and above anything I could have expected they are professional courteous helpful and I have already referred them to friends. I chose Friendly Van, a london based removal service (who had excellent online reviews) to move the contents of our 1 bed roomed flat from Shepherds Bush to Covent Garden. We had A LOT of stuff, and the new flat was located up 7 flights of stairs so wasn't an easy move. This wasn't a problem for Friendly Van who quoted me only £45 per hour for two guys and a van and the service was fantastic. A two man team arrived at 12 and they we're completely finished by 1.30. In fact, next time i'll be using their packing-service too. I'll remember, that we don't have to do everything ourselves! They made the move easy and were quick, efficient and very skilled.  Friendly Van were exceptional.  Friendly, professional, relaiable and importantly very fast. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a quick and simple solution to moving home.  Its nice to work with a company that are so personal and friendly. I will be using them again for my next move. This is the second time in 2 years I've used Friendly Van to move - each time between 3-bed flats. Each staff member has been exceptional with regard to providing details on the service, confirming timing and requirements, professionalism and stamina on the day to accomplish the move in record time and pack the van COMPLETELY full to avoid multiple trips, then unload again in record time. I had some tricky furniture to carry to the 3rd floor and everything arrived without a scratch or complaint. Very impressive company. For the second move, I also used Friendly Van to do my end of tenancy cleaning which was of EXCEPTIONAL quality. I recommend this company highly.

Facing a choice to decide who will move all our possessions was not an easy one. On the one hand, the famous larger companies who, just because of advertising, we felt more confident to use, as if we already knew them. However, their representatives were all the same when they came to our house to quote for the job - they were showy, sharp and expensive. In contrast, David of The Friendly Van Company was pleasant and courteous but above all, natural and honest. He just gave an air of being able to do a great job for us, without all the brashness of the 'bigger boys'. Also, David's quote was much cheaper and at first this strangely worried us - would you get a better job done by paying more? Well The Friendly Van company was the one we chose and we are delighted with the choice. I strongly recommend you use them. They moved all our furniture and 129 boxes starting early at 7.30 am and finishing at about 4.30 pm the same day with all our furniture positioned exactly where we wanted it. Of course some bits needed to be repositioned in the house but nothing was too much of a problem for the team. The company showed hardworking, team effort and with polite good humoured staff - Look no further, David and his team were better than we could have ever hoped for. No damages and everything Friendly Van did made the experience of moving actually a pleasure! They collected our boxes within a day of us asking them to call back. I have called Friendly Van numerous times for last-minute deliveries across London and David has always been able to accommodate my requests. The man and van that usually arrive are clean, efficient and diligent. It makes the stress of moving large items across the city from venue to venue less of a headache. I particularly like the fact that this van has an electric platform at the back so there is less risk of our property being damaged as it is hauled into the van. Thanks again!

We moved from London to South Wales at the end of May 2014.  Friendly Van provided an efficient and professional service throughout and made the move as smooth and straight forward as possible. The company was easy to contact and communicate with by email and phone and we always received a personal and helpful reply. To begin with, David Wrona come to the flat to assess the work that was required,  which is better that getting a quote by telephone or filling in  a lengthy questionnaire. The packing team who arrived, on time, on the allocated day were professional, efficient and carefully packed our goods and belongings. They had all the necessary packing materials, miles of bubble wrap and were quite good at dismantling furniture as well. They worked hard and practically non-stop for 7 hours doing the packing and took good care with our goods, including our many plants which survived the move quite well. All boxes were carefully labelled.  When halfway through packing the team realised that we were going to need another van, David was available on his mobile and responded to the potential crisis in a calm and professional manner by organising another van and driver for the following day. He did not take advantage of this by overchrging us either. Do not underestimate the amount of stuff you may have in a one bedroom flat! The following day the team arrived at 7am and packed the vans quickly and efficiently and were quite good a maximising the available space. They were even quiet to avoid disturbing the neighbours.They were equally efficient at unloading the boxes into a double garage in Wales after a long drive. The price for the move was competitive and fair considering the amount of work that was required. Overall, Friendly Van provided a professional, efficient and honest service, and in addition they are a nice and pleasant group of people that are easy to talk to and liaise with. We received a professional but also a personal and friendly service tailored to our needs and able to respond to unforseen situations. They proved to be reliable,  honest, polite and treated us as individuals and not just another job to be done. They contributed to making the actual move a positive and stress free experience.
PS. Most of the guys like tea, but Mark appreciates good coffee!

Many thanks to David and his team for making the move as painless as possible. The guys worked really hard non-stop to move us to our new home. They were very careful not to damage either our belongings or the properties. Very reliable service. I also used David's team afterwards to move some items out of storage; there was just me and one guy and a transit and he worked really hard to help me move what ended up being many more items than I had previously anticipated.

I would recommend using Friendly Van for your removal needs. Booking was easy and I received great customer service. The movers were friendly, professional and efficient, it took them less than 3 hours to move the contents of my 3BR house (furnitures were already disassembled and boxes packed when they arrived). They arrived early with a large truck and gave us a 30-60 minute notice before they arrived. There were no damages during the move. Their rates are also very reasonable. Thanks Friendly Van, would definitely use again. .

I have moved many times, but only used Friendly Van this time, and this was the best experience of them all.  From the first contact, to the day of payment, they were professional, courteous and friendly! The price was competitive, the service was excellent but most importantly they were extremely careful and conscienctious, didn't damage anything and they did it with a smile on their faces! Wouldnt hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

We have just used Friendly Van Removals for the third time, although friends have also used them based on our recommendation. Their level of service is absolutely excellent and I really believe you would struggle to find a better removal company anywhere in the UK.

David is thoroughly professional and demonstrates great care and attention to detail, from the original quote, through to packing and transportation. Perhaps the most extraordinary thing about this company is their ability to respond to and solve unexpected challenges - it seems that nothing is too difficult or too much trouble for them!

Every member of the crew is incredibly personable, friendly and easy to work with. Jacob, Mat and Tomas could not do enough for us. We used their packing service, which was speedy and efficient and meant that all our belongings were professionally boxed. When we arrived at the new house, the team were utterly determined to make all our large furniture fit into a very small house and they managed to do so without touching any walls or scraping anything (I was carrying a cardboard box around and managed to bump into a door frame - I don't know how they do it!!) They have a very impressive work ethic and work quickly and efficiently, remaining completely unfazed by any extraordinary request. They never seem to get tired and keep smiling no matter how difficult things get (two of our moves were extremely challenging!)

David also managed to arrange carpet cleaning and an end of tenancy clean for us at very short notice, which was so welcome because we were moving a long way from London. I don't know how he manages to arrange all these things without skipping a beat - nothing seems to faze him. It's so good to be able to hand these responsibilities over and know that you are assured of the best service from someone you really trust.

I could wax lyrical about the amazing attributes of this company all day, but probably the last thing to say in this review is that the charges are always incredibly reasonable. It's difficult to understand how they manage to provide such a first rate service at such a low cost.

It's possible that we have now moved too far away to use Friendly Van Removals again, which is tragic because we know we will never find such an excellent company anywhere else!

I was all round happy with Friendly Van's team of two guys. They arrived ten minutes early and then quickly and efficiently got on with the job. They took good care of my things and were just so wonderfully reassuring about everything. Even at pretty short notice the booking went really well. I paid a £50 deposit in the couple of days before, had confirmation email through and didn't have to give my credit card number or an inventory list. A rough estimate of how much I had was enough. David in the office dealt with my queries and was just very reassuring. I was delighted that the guys finished quicker than planned (despite a second floor) and did a great job at distributing the furniture in the right places. I am very happy with the company and will use them again in future. It couldn't have gone any better and I recommend them whole-heartedly.

The team at Friendly Van live up to their name as well as being very effecient and professional.  
Arriving promtply at the scheduled pickup time the two man team quickly helped me load the van.  By the time I made my way to my new home by train they had already completely unloaded everything so that my girlfriend could start unpacking. 
They made what I though to be the most stressful part of my move the easiest and I cannot praise them enough for this.

Friendly Van helped us move our stuff from 2-3 bed house into a 3rd floor flat and they did it with great care and attention to detail. Marek and his team on the day were courtious and super efficient, packing everything into the van with amazing speed but making sure that things were safe. At the other end they once again dealt wonderfully with the less than ideal distance between the flat and where we were able to park and I would wholeheartedly recommend them for home removals.  David who came to quote for the job was also very friendly and helpful so all in all Friendly Van gets the thumbs up from us! .
