      Successful move to Wales with a nice and honest removal company.

      We moved from London to South Wales at the end of May 2014.  Friendly Van provided an efficient and professional service throughout and made the move as smooth and straight forward as possible. The company was easy to contact and communicate with by email and phone and we always received a personal and helpful reply. To begin with, David Wrona come to the flat to assess the work that was required,  which is better that getting a quote by telephone or filling in  a lengthy questionnaire. The packing team who arrived, on time, on the allocated day were professional, efficient and carefully packed our goods and belongings. They had all the necessary packing materials, miles of bubble wrap and were quite good at dismantling furniture as well. They worked hard and practically non-stop for 7 hours doing the packing and took good care with our goods, including our many plants which survived the move quite well. All boxes were carefully labelled.  When halfway through packing the team realised that we were going to need another van, David was available on his mobile and responded to the potential crisis in a calm and professional manner by organising another van and driver for the…

      Fantastic experience.

      Booked two porters to arrive between 12-1pm, to move from West London to East London on a Saturday. Collection was slightly early as the van turned up at 11:45. The van was as described, a LWB with a high top. After courteously introducing themselves, the porters immediately started loading the van, in a very organised manner. They were both very hardworking. All items were well packed and made secure before setting off. At the delivery address, they rang 5-10 mins before arrival to ensure someone was at the premises. Unloading was a doddle with all boxes and items delivered safely inside the flat. We were very pleased with delivery. And even though they went ever so slightly over the alloted time, they did not charge extra. I did tip them half-hour's worth anyway, so pleased we were with their service! Definitely recommend them! We had a fantastic experience and would use them again.

      Great efficient service.

      We have used this company for storage of our goods and asked them to move to a new location. Super efficient removers and very careful with all our belongings. Would definitely recommend them to anyone needing this service.

      Domestic removals.

      These chaps made our moving experience easy. From the initial quote to the day of moving they were professional and efficient. I would highly recommend using these chaps if you are moving house. The moving day was handled so quickly and carefully we were almost redundant, completely out of the old house and into the new house by 4pm - and that included dismantling and reassembling furniture. Brilliant - USE USE USE :).

      Really good!

      I'd definitely recommend Friendly Van. I've used them twice in the past few weeks, one for a job with work and one for moving house. Both jobs were done really well, very efficient, nothing was too much of a problem and the price quoted was great. David, Monika and Anna were really helpful in the office to co-ordinate payments etc. On the second job the guys were 20minutes late arriving as they were stuck in traffic, but Monika phoned me up to let me know what was going on so that's fine and traffic always happens in London!

      Furniture Removal from Rented Flat.

      I have used David and his team previously and have referred fmaily members to him as I have always been very pleased with the service.   Yet again I was completely satisfied. They turned up on time, provided a quick and effiecient removal service and took care to wrap all valuable items and ensure that there was no chance of damage both to my furniture and to the building I was leaving. The service has always been excellent and I have never been short of completely satisfied with Friendly Van, which is why I will continue to use them when moving.

      Excellent team.

      It was my second move, the first move was an year ago. The first move went very well, so I decided to engage them again. Both times, the staff were very polite, courteous and quietly efficient, quick and careful! Their packing service is excellent and they Packed everything patiently and carefully including crockery and fragile items, and loaded and unloaded all my belongings properly. Their price is competitive too. I sincerely thank FV for their help and I thoroughly recommend them to my friends and family if they need to move.

      Great removalist.

      My husband and I have moved 6 times in the last 6 years (not all of them good experiences) internationally and locally, and when we finally found somewhere we could put some roots down we realised with a sinking heart that we would have to move 'again'.  The very thought made us feel ill, even though we were only moving locally within North London.  A friend recommended 'Friendly Van' and when David came around to give us a quote we immediately felt we could trust him and that he would do a good job.  On the day we didn't need to do anything at all.  David and his team packed everything for us, disassembled our big furniture and reassembled it at the other end.  He took extra care with our precious items of wooden furniture, wrapping everything and looking after the entire process.  We didn't have to lift a finger.  They worked so hard, not even stopping for lunch, so that we could get it all done in one day.  We can't recommend them highly enough if you want a trustworthy removalist with a caring and friendly team.  We hope we don't have to move again for a very long time, but when we do, we'll definitely be using Friendly Van.  .

      Ultra-efficient and professional.

      The team were lighting fast in organising and packing the van and the journey across London took no time at all.

      What makes these guys stand out is their strength of communication - they are totally transparent about how long things will take, where different items should go, and how much it will cost.

      The professional, clean-cut appearance is also a welcome surprise compared to most removal teams.

      Thanks for making our move much less stressful than I thought it would be!

      THE MOVE WAS PAINLESS. THE TWO GUYS WORKED NONE STOP AND HAD TO BE FORCED TO TAKE A BREAK FOR TEA!

      WE HAS A PARTICULARLY LARGE AND VERY HEAVY WARDROBE THAT WE THOUGHT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO MOVE - SOMEHOW THEY MANAGED IT.

      Fantastic service.

      Highly recommended, the driver had very good communication with frequent updates on arrival time. Good initiative showed by driver in finding a loading bay and avoiding the high central london parking charges. The driver was also very helpful in loading and delivery was made within the quoted timeframe and price. Very helpful and friendly service, I would happily use again and recommend to friends and family. .

      Man with a van service.

      Very courteous company and helpful with advice about packing and providing boxes beforehand. On the day the guys were late due to a mix-up but they let me know and were very apologetic. Service was impeccable, quick and efficient. On arrival they offered to put everything wherever we wanted, including upstairs. We had a fair amount of stuff to move but they were done within 2 hours, including a 15 min drive.

      Good service but late.

      2 guys and a Luton van for 4 hours (actually only 3hrs 45mins). There was confusion over the time as it was meant to be 5pm but they thought 6pm. They were then 45 mins late for 6pm due to overrunning previous job. Once they arrived they were efficient and careful. They helped put together my bed on arrival. They had 15 minutes left to work but because it was so late they needed to go home (10.30pm).

      Cost was £60/hour and billed for 4 hours.

      I was moving bed, big wardrobe, 2 sofas, cabinet, full kitchen stuff, clothes and books from basement flat to 1st floor flat with lift.

      I did all packing myself in advance.

      Fantastic professional and friendly service.

      Dave went out of his way to get me out of a pickle with my move as I was let down by another company last minute.  He could not do enough to keep me calm and get me moved.  He went way above and beyond the call of duty.  I used this firm a second time and they were running late due to road problems (not their fault) but they kept me posted at all times and did an excellent job. Thye took very good care of my belongings.  I will never use anyone else again they were so good and I whole heartedly recommend Friendly Van. .

Stress free moving!

I would recommend using Friendly Van for your removal needs. Booking was easy and I received great customer service. The movers were friendly, professional and efficient, it took them less than 3 hours to move the contents of my 3BR house (furnitures were already disassembled and boxes packed when they arrived). They arrived early with a large truck and gave us a 30-60 minute notice before they arrived. There were no damages during the move. Their rates are also very reasonable. Thanks Friendly Van, would definitely use again. .

It's all in the name.

I have moved many times, but only used Friendly Van this time, and this was the best experience of them all.  From the first contact, to the day of payment, they were professional, courteous and friendly! The price was competitive, the service was excellent but most importantly they were extremely careful and conscienctious, didn't damage anything and they did it with a smile on their faces! Wouldnt hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

Wish I had found them years ago.

Thank you to David and his team! The guys arrived on time and our house was packed into their two vans in no time. The guys were very proffessional & friendly. We were concerned that we wouldn't be able to get our large sofas through a rather narrow doorway but the guys managed to do this without any problems. London to Salisbury house move.

We recently hired Friendly Van to move our 2 bed flat that was packed to the roof full of stuff across to Salisbury which was a good few hours away. They were nothing but professional from start to finish and at the cheapest quote we found - that's good going. I'd wholeheartedly recommend them for any future movers reading this site as they were hard working, on time and looked after our possession even on the long journey. Excellent service, would definitely recommend!

I have moved many times and have always used Bishops Move in tHe past.We are a family , with kids and dogs , so plenty of things to move, we don't do mimamilist !  We live in central London and decided to try someone new to save money. Bishops quoted and we felt it was too high as we were only moving round the corner And there was no storage involved. A friend recommended Friendly Van, so we asked for a quote. David came round and was " Friendly" :) And professional . I especially appreciated his calm manner, I always find moving quite stressful . This move was especially stressful as our purchaser was coming from Australia and wanted us to move out in 2 weeks! They were on time, organised and very helpful. They stuck to their price, there were no hidden extras. All the staff were also honest and trustworthy, nothing went missing, nothing was broken. It was a 2 day job, moving into a tall house, so lots of up and down stairs, I felt very guilty by the end, lots of hard work and not a sour or miserable face! Would definitely use again in the future, Sarah Plant.

Apprehension at firtst the very happy.

So far I have always done moves myself and it has taken a couple of days, I'm exhausted & invariably something gets broken. Due to circumstances I was not able to this time. I found Friendly Van via the Internet. Had an initial chat about what needed to be moved and costs. The move went without hitch the movers were professional as expected. As far as competitiveness It's hard to say as I didn't do a lot of shopping around but if you value you stuff and you want it done properly then these guys definitely can do it. Added to that I was happy with the total cost.I recommend this removal company.

Saturday 27th April 2013.

 Mark & Jacob from Friendly Van were brilliant. They arrived on time and were organised, friendly and I was charged what I expected to pay, £220.  I did not request any help with packing and they did not supply any boxes.  When they arrived they discussed what goods they wanted to load first and last and they dismantled and re-assembled a large wardrobe.  Their manners were impeccable and this helped to take some of the headache out of moving, I would not hesitate to use them again.

Friendly Van.

Jacob and Mark did a fantastic job and I'm sure they will for you too.  On time, professional and very friendly, nothing was too much trouble.  It made the whole expeience of moving so much easier and I can't recommend them and Friendly Van enough.  Competitive pricing and excellent service, I wasn't sure what to expect as I choose them randomly..but am certainly going to recommend them now and use them again when we move next!

Friendly Van.

I had booked Friendly Van back in August 2012 for a house move.  However, due to the non-sale of the house I had to reschedule. Dave kindly honoured the original booking and I finally moved the items in April 2013. Dave was the driver and led the packing and unloading. I would definitely recommend Friendly Van to others.  I would describe their service as efficient, courteous, flexible and value for money.

Great Service - does what is says on the tin!!

We used Friendly Van Removal Services recently for move in London and could not be happier. They were on time and were extremely careful and respectful of both the properties and our possessions. Both houses had difficult access and the guys took their time to figure out the most sensible way to get in and out. Despite the difficult job they we're both very friendly and will definitely be using this company again for out next move.

Excellent service.

I stronly recommend Frienldy Van, the service was up to my expectations, the van was here on time which was very important to me since you don't want to be stressed when you move out, the driver very helpful and friendly, all went perfectly well! All boxes were carefully taken care of, much appreciated. Communication was great, all was confirmed pretty quickly. Thank you very much!

Company Archive move.

Moving my company archive to storage had to happen and very quickly.
Moving 150 filing cabinets stacked on 50 pallets is no mean feat and getting a moving team flexible enough to work with the guys at the pick-up and delivery point was important to a successful move.
Without David and Anna, and the drivers @ FriendlyVan I just couldn't have done it in the time-slot I had.  They were with me every step of the way.
FriendlyVan kept to their times and everything went smoothly.
They did a great job and I highly recommend FriendlyVan.

Excellent and professional move.

We moved house last weekend, and used Friendly Van. They were absolutely excellent - very personable and professional. They took excellent care of all the breakables, and the whole process was so smooth and not stressful at all. The delivered the boxes in good time. On the day of the move they arrived bang on time, and were completely unruffled by a piano and also many many very heavy boxes of books. I would recommend them without reservation.

Friendly Van.

I was hugely impressed with the services from Friendly Van.  Jacob and Marc were professional, quiet, methodical and friendly.  It was a very hot day and we have some very heavy furniture so I really can't have asked for more. They arrived promptly at 11am to move our stuff from west to north london - they completed the whole job in under three hours, despite the fact that they had to wrap a sofa and there were three floors to climb at both addresses. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Cheaters.

They cheat on the price. You agree on one price with them and when they arrive they ask for more. If you don't agree to pay they insult you and walk out on you. They are disrespectful to their customers, especially if you are a women. I would not recommend them to anyone, they are unreliable and abusive. Also, they don't respect the agreed times. A guy called David sent two rude guys who ended up walking out on me because they had a bigger job to do.

Friendly Van London to Torquay.

I had a great experience with Friendly Van. I was moving to a  block of retirement flats at the other end of the country and a bit worried about it. David, who took my enquiry, was lovely. He was helpful, kind, thoughtful and seemed to genuinely care that I had a good move.  The removal team led by Jacob really lived up to their name - throughout a long and tiring day they stayed smiling and cheerful. Even although I had more books and china than they'd realised, which meant that it took longer to pack my things than had been allowed for, even so they took the greatest care.  Not one thing got broken, and in 40 years of moving frequently, this is the only time that there wasn't even one breakage!  They were so considerate, so kind.  The van arrived at my new home at the same time I did.  Jacob and team took the time and trouble to get me settled in properly, even although it was 8pm and they faced a long drive back to London. Although the move had taken longer than scheduled, David did not even suggest increasing the already highly competitive price quoted.  He said the important thing was that I should be comfortable and he really sounded as if he meant it!  This is the best removal I have ever had, and I reccommend Friendly Van very highly to any elderly person, who like I was, may be a bit worried about moving.  The team couldn't have looked after me better if they had been my own family.

Faultless!

David and his boys were absolutely faultless, knowledgeable and efficient. They packed on 20th and moved us on 21st November 2013 from London to Oxfordshire. Not one item was damaged or forgotten and the service was always smiling. Even when the van broke down, we were called and informed immediately and no time was lost or wasted. I can't recommend this company enough for a completely stress free and efficient move!! Thank you David :).

Considerate, Cheap and Honest.

Hi we used Friendly van to move from a large 4 bedroom house inn London to Ilkley. Despite using more smaller Luton vans instead of one large van Friendly van was one of the cheapest. 
The move was well planned by David as he considered our young twin toddlers. The van was on Thursday evening whilst tht children were stauing with my inlaws. The vans were parked overnight at their depot. Then the following morning the vans were taken to our new home and unloaded. 

I found Friendly vans staff very helpful even helping me loading my car with some belongings I was dropping round to a neighbour. They were very punctual and efficient. The only slightly negative comment I have is that when it came to trying to fit our furniture into our new house (smaller than old) they didn't try lots of different permutations to try and fit things in. Maybe in their experience they knew they couldn fit or perhaps they were in a rush to get back to London.

Very happy!

We booked Friendly Van to move from a (packed!) one bedroom 1st floor flat to a house. Communication was excellent - after putting in a request for a quote online I was phoned on the same day, despite the fact that it was a Sunday, and then they kept in contact before and after the move. The two guys we had worked tirelessly and finished before we'd expected so we ended up paying less than we thought we would, as they charge by the hour. We'd definately use them again.

Have used twice. Very happy.

This was the second time I have used Friendly Van this year and have recommended them to friends who have also been very happy. The service is excellent. They handled a move from a 2 and 3rd floor flat to a house well with no damage to a number of large/valuable items. The removal van turned up early and cleared our flat in record time. Move came in under the number of hours expected in the end.

From enquiry to the moving service, David and Jacob were highly professional, courteous and efficient. We hired them for a move on 31 December, which they turned up 20 minutes early for. They were conscientious of moving our belongings, and went the extra mile to ensure everything was delivered to their respective locations in the new flat. Nothing was damaged.
