Really live up to their name! They were incredibly fast and efficient. Would definitely use again and recommend. We were only moving flat but had large items of furniture - these were manouvered with ease. The whole process only took 2 hours to complete and therefore paid the very reasonable rate of £70.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           .

Any van man that turns up with a huge ginger beard and cool as f*ck tatoos is good in my books. On time and on the money. Nothing was damaged - they dismantled my bed and sofa so they could get them out of my flat. Once we got to the new property everything was unloaded and got into the flat in record time. Friendly, quick and mindful of your stuff.
Will definitely be using again. Unfortunately for them they'll have to get everything down the narrow stair case they only just managed to squezze everything up.

There are so many removal companies on the market but we chosen friendly sounding company-Friendly Van. They replied to our request email very quickly and then David came along and gave us a very reasonable quote. We`re moving 3 bedroom house from W10 to N3. They turned up on time and came prepared with all the packing materials. The staff was very professional, polite and FRIENDLY. You could see they had lots of experience with packaging and handling things. They took great care with my furniture and they had covers for everything even for my cream sofa! We didn't have to do or lift anything they done everything for us. Only thing we had to do is to unpack and organise our new home. Friendly Van also collected empty boxes ones we unpacked. 
I can only say how great full I am for the way they handled this move for me. Highly recommended company for hassle free removal.Anna.

Found this company online and they were absolutely fantastic. Cant recommend highly enough. I moved on Saturday and the 2 guys were amazing. Their apperanace and speed in which they loaded and unloaded was excellent. They were very friendly and extremely professional. They were a bit held up but I was kept informed when they would be arriving. I left everything to them and they treated my items with care and respect. I will definately use again and recommend to anyone I know that is moving. Thank you so much for a great service and value for money. Really took all the hassle out of what could have been a stressful time.

Booked two porters to arrive between 12-1pm, to move from West London to East London on a Saturday. Collection was slightly early as the van turned up at 11:45. The van was as described, a LWB with a high top. After courteously introducing themselves, the porters immediately started loading the van, in a very organised manner. They were both very hardworking. All items were well packed and made secure before setting off. At the delivery address, they rang 5-10 mins before arrival to ensure someone was at the premises. Unloading was a doddle with all boxes and items delivered safely inside the flat. We were very pleased with delivery. And even though they went ever so slightly over the alloted time, they did not charge extra. I did tip them half-hour's worth anyway, so pleased we were with their service! Definitely recommend them! We had a fantastic experience and would use them again.

Excellent service, prompt and very professional. Was impressed with how much care was taken with my items, including strapping them in the van and covering them with clothes. I would most definitely recommend them. Overall time was around 5 hours, and they arrived promptly at the beginning of my time window for arrival. I was expecting it to take slightly less time, but this was not through any fault of the company - traffic across London was terrible, and also I had a lot of boxes (and no lift at the pickup place). Considering how much stress it saved, it was well worth it.

An excellent service: I would not hesitate to use this firm again. Friendly Van moved all the furniture and possessions from a bedsit in London to an apartment in Sussex. After emailing for a quote, I was given a clear explanation of costs and appropriate advice on what size of van to choose. This was followed up by a confirmation email. Right on time, two very polite and helpful guys arrived to do the moving - they worked really hard and were very careful with all the items. No damage at all. The job took an hour longer than expected because the guys got lost in the little country lanes where sat-nav let them down, When I mentioned this to Friendly Van they promptly made a refund for the time lost. I was delighted with the service.

Moving day hits, you've spent the previous number of days fretting over all your posessions, putting them into boxes, labelling them, and then finally just scooping up armfuls of detritus to shove into boxes because it's taken longer to pack than you thought.
You're done with packing at 5am of the morning of the move, and are sitting amongst your life (sorted conveniently into bite-size chunks) rocking back and forth, nursing a mug of tea, and staring wide-eyed at the wall due to sleep deprivation.
You happen to be sharing moving with a partner or friend moving into the same place frmo another place far across the city, this adding an extra level of jepardy to the timings in your head, as your heavily caffeinated brain fritzes randomly, shooting visions of horrible catastrophes and thefts through your brain.
You get a text from your friend who is getting picked up first. They're bang on time. The moving guys have started shifting furniture, and you are now officially being moved into your new place.. although somewhat remotely.
Text updates come thick and fast, sofas and bookcases being shifted down narrow stairs without so much as knocking the walls. Descriptions of a mover with a beard to rival the norse gods of old.
Then silence. Operational silence.
"WE'RE HERE!" comes the text, as the first portion of the move is completed - your friend is packed and moved across the city in quick order, and their stuff is being loaded into the new building with ruthless efficiency.
You've barely had time to finish (yet another) cup of coffee when they arrive outside your building to start moving your stuff. You instantly recognise the beard from the fevered descriptions received during a half remembered daze.
They begin loading your worldly posessions, and being the sort to muck in you-re soon assisting them in loading the truck, carrying stuff down the stairs, and out of the building.
And once again - we're off!
Conversation with the movers is light and humerous before they deftly reverse the van into a tiny parking spot right at the back door to your new abode.
The truck is unloaded swiftly and efficiently again, inspiring confidence.
You buy them an ice cream and a drink as thanks, exchange 400 of their earth sterling and then they're off into the mid-afternoon, like bats.

Excellent value for money -- nearly five times cheaper than the most expensive quote I received. Hourly pricing means that you only pay for the time that you need.
Very punctual and efficient -- arrived ten minutes early and had the first flat packed within three hours (with my help). Second flat was already packed, and was loaded into van within twenty minutes of arrival. Unloading and reassembly of furniture at the final destination took around forty minutes.
Nothing damaged during transit except for a single cereal bowl.
Friendly and helpful staff, both in sales office and the removal men on the day.
Would recommend to anyone wanting to do a flat move and I'm sure they could also handle larger jobs.

Jacob and Mark of Friendly Van did a champion job for us. They arrived punctually, said they would be able to load the van in one trip when I thought two, and managed it with care. They were hard working, friendly, methodical and careful, and worked without a break! We were very pleased at the end of a hard day. We certianly will recomend them. Pricewise, very competitive and no hidden charges, quated charges rates in their website is what you pay for.                                                                                                                                         .

David and his team started the day at 07:00, efficiently and effectively wrapping and packing my 2 bedroom flat in record quick time.  After a quick early lunch break (which I insisted on) they packed the van and dropped off some selected pieces of furniture and packing boxes at the new house by mid-afternoon.  Then on to the local Safestore where the team unloaded the remaining items with great care, skill and professionalism, finishing around 18:00. They never once complained and were polite and cheerful throughout the day. I would definitely use FV again and would recommend them highly.  .

The team was punctual and did a great job! Our office move went really smoothly. David, Jacob and the guys did an excellent job packing and unpacking our furniture and filling in all the shelves of our office. We are a tourist office and hance have many brochures and materials that require accurate sorting and filing. Also, we had many folders to pack and unpack which the guys did great with and had a lot of patience to follow the instruction as to where to put every single type of brochure,
We are really satisfied and would definitely reccomend Friedly Van! .

David and his team helped me move house in October. They were prompt, efficient and a very careful with our possessions. There were a few changes on the day and the team adapted excellently to them. I was so impressed I decided to store some items with them for a month and then used their services to move everything to a larger storage unit in the north of england. I looked at using some much larger companies as well but am very pleased with the outcome of using Friendly Van.

David and his team were wonderful to work with. We used them twice - once to move house within London and once to move extra items to storage in Warwick. They were prompt, efficient, and upfront about all charges from the beginning. We have moved many times, includng three international moves with large moving companies, and Friendly Van was the best moving company we have every worked with. It was great that they used recycled boxes as well that could be rented out and returned to them.

I chose Friendly Vans purely because I liked the name. In fact they proved to be not only friendly but also cost-effective, efficient and polite. David the boss is very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for him and his team, mostly at very short notice.

I have used David and his team previously and have referred fmaily members to him as I have always been very pleased with the service.   Yet again I was completely satisfied. They turned up on time, provided a quick and effiecient removal service and took care to wrap all valuable items and ensure that there was no chance of damage both to my furniture and to the building I was leaving. The service has always been excellent and I have never been short of completely satisfied with Friendly Van, which is why I will continue to use them when moving.

I was looking for a trustworthy and reliable moving company to move my sister from her flat to a smaller property and was recommended Friendly Van by someone who had used them a couple of years earlier. David and Norbert were punctual, efficient, helpful and indeed friendly! Nothing was a problem and David was also very flexible when it came to providing packing boxes etc. It all added up to a really good service. I will definitely be using them when I have to move next year.

We recently hired Friendly Van to move our 2 bed flat that was packed to the roof full of stuff across to Salisbury which was a good few hours away. They were nothing but professional from start to finish and at the cheapest quote we found - that's good going. I'd wholeheartedly recommend them for any future movers reading this site as they were hard working, on time and looked after our possession even on the long journey. I have moved many times and have always used Bishops Move in tHe past.We are a family , with kids and dogs , so plenty of things to move, we don't do mimamilist !  We live in central London and decided to try someone new to save money. Bishops quoted and we felt it was too high as we were only moving round the corner And there was no storage involved. A friend recommended Friendly Van, so we asked for a quote. David came round and was " Friendly" :) And professional . I especially appreciated his calm manner, I always find moving quite stressful . This move was especially stressful as our purchaser was coming from Australia and wanted us to move out in 2 weeks! They were on time, organised and very helpful. They stuck to their price, there were no hidden extras. All the staff were also honest and trustworthy, nothing went missing, nothing was broken. It was a 2 day job, moving into a tall house, so lots of up and down stairs, I felt very guilty by the end, lots of hard work and not a sour or miserable face! Would definitely use again in the future, Sarah Plant.

So far I have always done moves myself and it has taken a couple of days, I'm exhausted & invariably something gets broken. Due to circumstances I was not able to this time. I found Friendly Van via the Internet. Had an initial chat about what needed to be moved and costs. The move went without hitch the movers were professional as expected. As far as competitiveness It's hard to say as I didn't do a lot of shopping around but if you value you stuff and you want it done properly then these guys definitely can do it. Added to that I was happy with the total cost.I recommend this removal company.

 Mark & Jacob from Friendly Van were brilliant. They arrived on time and were organised, friendly and I was charged what I expected to pay, £220.  I did not request any help with packing and they did not supply any boxes.  When they arrived they discussed what goods they wanted to load first and last and they dismantled and re-assembled a large wardrobe.  Their manners were impeccable and this helped to take some of the headache out of moving, I would not hesitate to use them again.
