First call movers are a first class company. Responded immediately to our request to start getting moving estimates. Together we put together an itemized list as I walked through the house. We spoke about fragile items as well as any electronics that needed special packing. Once we had the total list and all the items that needed special packing we got our final price. Not only was the price in our budget but it was actually cheaper then we anticipated. First call relocations helped us focus on our more important issues and they took care of everything. They did an amazing job wrapping and protecting our furniture so once it was on the truck it would not be damaged in any way. We were careful to select a moving company who’s licenses were up to date and we were impressed with all the positive feedback we saw. It’s our pleasure to leave our experience. .

I was searching the internet high and low for a mover to complete my upcoming move from south Florida to New Jersey. One of the first companies that reached out to me was this one, First Call Relocations.

The salesperson that initially touched base with me was very friendly and informative. He told me everything I needed to know about the moving process and about the industry in general. He was able to provide me with a free, binding quote based on the inventory I gave him over the phone. The price was extremely reasonable compared to the other quotes I received. I decided to book with gateway moving and storage, and I was not disappointed! They showed up at my house when they guaranteed they would be there, and they disassembled, moved, packed, strapped and fastened in all of my most important possessions very carefully and with a lot of love, as if it was their own belongings.

They made the big trip from south Florida to New Jersey in a timely manner, within the delivery window they promised. When they got to our new house, they unloaded, reassembled and carefully placed all of our belongings in the new house without so much as a scratch on anything! The dispatch and customer service team were in touch with my family and I throughout the entire process from beginning to end and made this all work like a charm. I recommend anyone use gateway moving and storage! Especially my friends and family and/or anyone with a difficult or long distance move!

P.S. My move date was not firm and First Call Relocations provided me with storage in their state of the art storage facility, which gave us ample time to finalize our move date. Thanks First Call Relocations!

First Call Relocations helped me move recently from Iowa to Pennsylvania. Being in HR I know full well how important a good comsybis. Sentry was incredibly thorough, incredibly organized and did their absolute best--almost to the point of exhaustion--everything they could to make sure they had every detail looked over more than 3, 4, even 5 times..and then a FINAL check. I mean, they were thorough, and when you're moving, you don't want even ONE surprise.

I really was overwhelmed with my move as it was a company relocation and I knew I had a budget to work within, so when I found First Call and began working with them, I didn't want to even shop around because going through inventory is exhausting. Lucky for me, they were perfect from the beginning. Because I didn't have the time or energy to try and shop around, I was putting my move in their hands and they delivered..literally. I'd recommend them as they do everything they can to keep you calm, protected, and incredibly informed so there are no surprises. Job well done!

First call relocations was the best mover we used in years. From the first phone we fell in love with this company. Everybody treated us so well and were patient enough to explain everything in detail and sometimes more than once. Other moving companies assume just because we requested information that we were knowledgeable about the process but we weren’t. First call relocations is a standup company that has the credentials to back it. It’s obvious why they been doing such good business for many years. Just the fact that we were able to be in contact with somebody at anytime showed us they valued us. And of course more importantly they saved us a lot of money and we got an excellent price. They even offered to price match any other company that we got quotes from but in the end but they were the best price. Now we are happy and settled in our new home and could not be more satisfied.

Finally found our self a great moving company. First call relocations did everything they said they would and more. Most importantly they didn’t show up and load the furniture and ask for any more money than we spoke about. The move took place exactly how the representative said it would and actually even better than that. Everything we spoke about on the phone was prepared and there were no last-minute changes on move day. We got a Fabulous price and a whole lot of extra discounts. They save me and my family a lot of money and I could not have come at a better time. The school year just started and were in a new town so every penny counts. They were respectful and courteous and did no damage to my home or the furniture I was sending on the truck. There was no bumps in the road at any point and it was a smooth experience.

First call moving and the whole staff we have nothing but words of high praise for you. The way you were able to  coordinate my move and my additional pick ups and deliveries was nothing less than spectacular. It would’ve been so expensive to have done this on our own. During all of this changing schools, mailing address and everything else that comes with moving was on our mind. You guys did clean work and did not damage a single item that we sent. This was our first time using a full-service mover and I would happily do it again. In the past we have done these type of things ourselves and we have always regretted it now it’s nice to know we have an alternative way of doing it. First Call called and completed our estimate. They have experience representatives that really know what they’re talking about. We also had a major van line come out to our home and they turned out to be thousands of dollars more for the same service. Not only did we like alliance better but they had been in business for longer. We had many questions from the beginning of this process and anytime we called the girls in the customer service were happy to get us to where we needed to go. They even arrange for us to have our vehicle shipped and scheduled It to arrive the same day as our furniture. They wrapped and then wrapped everything and placed it in the rooms we desired. Since the move we have given your name out to a few of our friends and family and we hope that they call in the near future. We’ve had a few bad moves in the past and we’re lucky to have you to break the streak. I guess the moral of the story is to do your research on the company you work with because many others are not who they claim to be. This company is the real deal completely legit and checks out on all levels.

Everything about this move from start to finish was a nightmare. I was persuaded by Jimmy a Roberts (who later turned out to be Ernesto Ortega who was arrested and now in jail for hacking into first call’s system and extorting money from patrons), that they would be there on a specific dates-weren’t, move everything in their trucks-enterprise moving vans and Ocean movers, not fcr, they would number everything, nothing would be broken or damaged (1/2 of my things extremely damaged and even have water damage, they were not damaged before) that they would meet any movers price and give me the best rate (no, no rate match, highest price on the market, no refund). I was also told 4-5 men would come unload, put together, and deliver my things at the destination. They kept lying and trying to get more and more money until the end, only 2 people not associated with first call, my mother and I offloaded much of the truck ourselves, and they lied about EVERYTHING!

Happy and all settled in our new home. We had First Call Relocations under contract for our move. From the first phone call they made ya feel relaxed and confident in the company. They showed us credentials and feedback from recent customers. They also provided us with resources to look into all the other companies we spoke to just to make sure we k ew exactly who we were talking to. They were extremely detailed in putting together our moving estimate. They informed us if we were going to pack the boxes we would also be responsible for TVs and other items to avoid having extra expenses come move date. They were very transparent and friendly and did not pressure us at any point. The movers themself were clean cut and respected all of our goods and left no mess. We are very happy the time we spent with them. They are forever entrained in the memory of our new home for all the right reasons. 5 stars.

I hired First Call Relocation Company to move all of my belongings including my car and motorcycle from Los Angeles, California to Buffalo, New York. Upon arrival to my home in Buffalo, New York, both my car and motorcycle were damaged along with a majority of my large furniture. All of my furniture was purchased brand new in April, 2018 and was damaged during the move in July 2018. When my car was delivered it had 2 dents and paint scrapes on my hood. My motorcycle had countless areas of damage including broken mirrors, dented fender, scraped and dented fuel tank and more. Our furniture was dented, smashed, cracked, chipped and unsalvageable. 2 days prior to receiving our shipment, we were informed by a semi-truck driver who was driving our shipment from New Jersey to Buffalo, that the semi-truck had been involved in an accident. We have immediately contacted First Call Relocation and filled out an extensive claim form. First Call informed us that it can take up to 120 business days for the claim to be reviewed. The 120 day mark was January 9th, 2019 and we have since then contacted the company asking for an update on our claim. We have not received anything. Between the receipts of all of our brand new and purchased furniture, our car and motorcycle we are totaling roughly 10,000 in damages. We have photos and receipts of our furniture as well as photos of our car and motorcycle before the move. We were originally quoted $6,600 total to move our belongings and vehicles. The day of the move, we were told it would be an additional $2,400 after our belongings were already packed into the truck. This company advertises that they are apart of the Better Business Bureau on their website, however, if you go to BBB they are not listed. There are many similar complaints on this company and after doing some research, they also go by another name as well.

I have always been a firm believer in treat people the way you want to be treated. Well First Call did and does just that. They are amazing people and an amazing company.

The moving process is stressful but they took the stress out of it and made sure that I knew what to expect and they were so kind and knowledgeable.

The move went smooth and easy. There was no issues and no damages. I highly recommend using First call. They will take care of you from start to finish.

I did what everyone does when it comes to moving or needed a service. I went to the internet and did my research. First Call had great reviews and a heck of a presence online which is a huge thing for me. I called them and they were so proud of the service that they provide. They made sure I understood just what was going to happen on move day.

The day came and the movers were on time and there was nothing, absolutely nothing that was damaged or oops we broke this, like I have had happen in the past. I was all packed up and loaded and my stuff was on the road. When delivery day came, I was thrilled.

Everything was unpacked and put back together like it was never moved hundreds of miles away. I was quoted a price that I was ok with and when all was said and done it was actually $380 less than I was told. Thank you First Call!!

These guys were amazing. The phone crew that took my order were professional and knowledgeable. They made sure my level of confidence was high at all times. They made sure that I knew just what to expect.

The moving day came and nothing went wrong. The delivery day came and nothing went wrong. I thought for sure something was going to happen and nothing bad did. They even saved me $425 on my move. 5 stars all the way and you all will always be recommended by me for sure.

First call round of applause. We had our doubts early on only because stories we e read from other companies but you guys went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied. The first call we had together you guys explained in detail what would happen and how the pricing worked. So as we went through our pieces we were able to decide which ones were not worth the cost of shipping. This alone saved us hundreds. It was just a nice experience dealing with a company that cares. The movers knew the ins and outs of our area before coming which meant they took the time to see some roads were not truck accessible. Long story short we could not be happier with the service. If another move comes up in the future you are our company.

This companys ethics are outstanding. They have a strong sense of pride in all aspects of what they do.it was that time that we all dread, moving.

I put my feelers out on the web and was able to stumble across First Call Relocations. Not only was I treated like I mattered, I was told and then shown exactly how moving is suppose to go.

I was explained in detail just what to expect on the day of the move. Then when the 3 men showed up on my move day, ON TIME it went stress-free. They handled every item carefully and off they went.

Then delivery day came and believe it or not, all my stuff was fully intact and put just where we needed.

I want to thank you First Call for making this a great experience and a reason to call you all again in the future.

All I can say is that I'm truly impressed by the quality of service that First Call Relocations did on this move. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made because my wife and I had very little time to find a decent company to move. Regardless of the money we just wanted to see if it was worth it with the full service moving because it's very difficult to get people to take care of our items. They were really expensive things and sure enough, it was handled with proper care. I would rate this company a true 5 stars and I will commend and definitely will use again, Thank you!

I am reposting what my son has already posted because I think it's important that anyone that is contemplating using this moving service - SHOULD NOT - YOU WILL REGRET EVER BEING ASSOCIATED WITH THESE SCAM ARTISTS.
I have NEVER encountered any service that was so UNPROFESSIONAL WITH LIARS AND CHEATS ON THEIR STAFF. I don't understand how they are still in business - Any claim from anyone that states anything other than they are the WORST EVER has to be posted by the company themselves. I DON'T KNOW HOW THEY SLEEP AT NIGHT OR HAVE ANY CONSCIENCE.
My son's review, which I totally back up and confirm follows:
"I was quoted $3678 including a $573 "expedited delivery fee" by a representative named "Orlando Delarosa". He guaranteed me I would have my goods within 3-5 days after pick up. On pick up day I was informed while they were loading the truck that I exceeded the cubic feet of the move and was charged an additional $1100. It was quoted as being 59 total pieces. I had 62. For 3 extra boxes it was over $1000. The pick up movers refused to give me any form of paperwork including an inventory control sheet. They broke the ceiling in the hallway of my old apartment building and did not acknowledge it. The company failed to meet the expedited delivery and refused to tell me a new date, despite numerous phone calls. In fact there was 0 communication from them unless I repeatedly called and called until someone would answer. They treated both myself and my mother incredibly rude every time we managed to get someone on the phone. I was told by a customer service person "Kate" that the expedited fee would be waived. I was also told the same information from the "supervisor" Andre. Andre claimed to be the CEO of the company yet spoke in a condescending and abusive manner whenever I tried to get an answer from him regarding where my stuff was. He even went as far as to say I would be shot if I tried to come to the warehouse where my items were located"
I haven't copied his entire review because it can be read separately, but he is out much money because of this awful, awful company. At the very least, they could have had the decency to refund the Expedited Fee of $573. But DECENCY is NOT IN THEIR VOCABULARY - ONLY ROBBERS AND CHEATS.

This company is by far the best moving company that I have come across in years and years. I work for an agency that moves me every few years and this time they allowed my wife and I to do the research.

My wife found First Call and she was dead set on their professional approach to our move and they were pushing her to pay now or else attitude. I did my research and I was happy too.

Move day came and they were on time and very careful with all of our belongings. A short time after delivery day came and it was very similar to pick up.

Nothing was missing, nothing was broken and I honestly couldn’t be happier. The price was very fair and the customer service was way above par.

5 stars and I highly recommend First Call Relocations.

We were lied to about our charge, when they came (4days after they said) they left several thousand dollars of items because the truck was to small. They had said on the phone they would deliver on the schedule we discussed. The day they they were to arrive we had to call because they did not arrive and found out they had up to 14 days to deliver! It took them 10 days and when they did we saw them drop 2 boxes from the top of the truck to the ground. So many expensive items were broken. After unloading they unpacked our beds and 3 other items and left all the other furniture packed! They left not finishing what was in their contract. We took the pictures of everything, filled out the form they sent us, added another form with all the details and costs. It has been over a month and they have never responded. We lost thousands between broken items, motel bills, food, things they left behind. Still have never heard from them maybe a lawyer will.

Many times my company Has sent me to a new location to get it up and running. They always pay but don’t do any research. Since we had a horrible move last time we did our due diligence this time and made sure that we had the best company for the job.

When we spoke with First Call Relocations they walked us through the entire process. Everything we were told came true. Troy made sure that we were happy and that we stayed in contact after we were picked up.

Delivery went smooth and the pricing was very fair. No damage and nothing to complain about. Perfect job First Call.

First thing I did went I needed a moving company was go to the internet. I was able to find a lot of valuable information and suggestions when going forward. The number priority on my list was not to contract a moving broker. That’s the first thing that drew me into First Call Relocations. All of thier jobs were done with their own tricks and thier own employees and nothing was sold to a third party. All of our conversations were through the same number and dealing with the same rep from day one until the last. They were experienced and very patient working with us. We exchanged phone calls and emails until we had the last just right. On move date the price did not change by even one dollar. Once they loaded up and left for our new home we received constant updates and were called the day before for delivery. All of our furniture was placed delicately in the rooms we asked and we never found a scaratch or a damaged piece. It’s exactly what we wanted and we got it. They operate on a 5 star level and valued our business. Great work!!
