The service from Authority Moving Group is excellent. They’re whole crew did an amazing job. I especially want to shout out Michael who was so helpful setting up everything for me over the phone. Our movers arrived on time. They packed and loaded me quickly and I was charged EXACTLY what I was quoted.

They were able to move us from Dallas to New Orleans. They were so fast and they handled everything with responsibility and care. I highly recommend Authority Moving Group. Thank you so much.

Authority moving group did a move for me from SC to FL. They were very reasonably priced and very willing to accommodate my move. Once my items were picked up, the customer service department was more than helpful, specifically Alani, she was always very helpful and very informative. The overall experience was refreshing. My items were delivered within two weeks of being picked up undamaged and placed in my house wherever I asked them to put it. I would recommend Authority Moving Group to anyone moving cross country.

SCAM third party company. I will file a lawsuit with them. Please be advised to anyone who sees this, they will lowball you acting like a moving company and once you pay a deposit, they will not refund, lie, hire random people, then they scam the moving company they hire and it all comes out of your own pocket. I ended up paying five times more what they quoted at the end and they only moved a quarter of the items (with all the exact measurements I gave them promising me to move everything on my list with the lowball quote I believed) they will be friendly at first and will trick you. Contract disappears in your email later on once you pay the deposit so make sure to save it before. Glad I did so I can file my lawsuit. They also pretend to give you a discount at first to lure you in. Had no idea this was a broker company then they scam you and the moving company they hire. The current moving company cannot get a hold of them at all regarding the deposit money so it’s coming out of my pocket. Amaya is the customer service rep, Steven is the first who lured me in with the low ball deposit, and “customer service manager” there who lies about when movers are going to show up. I’m so glad I saved voice records with all of their voices and promises. BEWARE of this scam company.

Do not use this company for your move. They are not the movers, they are brokers who contract your job out to local shippers & drivers. I contracted Authority Moving Group for my out of state move. They were incredibly responsive while booking my job and taking my deposit, but after my truck was loaded and all my things were put in storage they stopped replying to my calls, emails, and text messages. I was quoted 14 business days for my move. It has been 20 business days now and I still don't know whether my shipment left Washington or when it will arrive at my new home. I have the phone number of the person who loaded my truck and have texted him multiple times for an ETA. He responds maybe every third day and has told me more than once that my shipment would be on the way soon and that he would send me the name and number of the driver. I have been told twice that my shipment would leave the next day and twice I've received no response when asking for confirmation the truck had left and an estimated arrival date. I've called the main office and left multiple voicemails. It took two voicemails and two emails before I received a call back. The customer service representative said she would find out the status of my shipment and call me back within a few hours. It's been 3 days and she hasn't called me back. I called them again and got a rep on the line so I could complain about this experience and ask for some kind of compensation for my time and the fact that everything I own is in a storage facility somewhere and I likely won't get my things until after Christmas. This rep said she had to speak to a manager and she promised she would call me back the next day. It is now the next day. No phone call. No response to the multiple text messages I sent. No response to the multiple emails I've sent. No response to the tweets I sent. As I write this I STILL do not have my belongings and I STILL do not have an estimated date of arrival. This is by far the worst customer experience I have ever had and I am going to find every avenue I can to blast this message out to potential customers.

DO NOT USE AUTHORITY MOVING GROUP! At first the sales reps will be extremely nice to you and then as soon as payment is made then they will disappear. It is bait & switch as I was originally quotes $2k and then when the actual movers showed up they charged me $3800. In the end, I ended up paying close to $4300 for a one bedroom. I had less than 20 moving boxes and only a few items of furniture. The movers showed up 1.5 hours early, they never had my updated inventory list, then they waited 40 days to ship the furniture from Seattle. It arrived on the 50th day and they showed up at 7am. It was the worst moving experience. Imagine thinking you are only paying $2k for a move and then they charge you more than double. They were not honest with me and completely misleading. I've been in property management most of my life and I think this moving company was the worst experience.

Everything seemed fine while doing our estimate, they seemed professional and asked plenty of questions to make sure everything was on the list. When o got my quote it was around $6,000 so I payed my deposit to lock it in. Later on I was going over my list and I wanted to add a few items before the move and I was going over the quote when o noticed a few larger items that had been missed, and a couple small items, 8-10 cubic feet, that they had claimed to be 40+ cubic feet. Made a call, added the items, corrected the quote, and payed the $200 or so to keep my deposit correct.

Day of the move arrives and the movers show up. Guy says that authority was off on their estimate and the cost was going to be higher. Ended up paying the movers about $8,000. With the “deposit” and the move I spend over $10,000 on a move that Authority said would cost me under $7,000. Authority tried to tell me that it was because the boxes I used were not the size they estimated, but I told them that I was using UHaul small, medium, large, and extra large.

I had told them that I would not be packing the TVs and I would like to have the movers box them up, a week before the move authority told me that it would cost more for the movers to box them. Why they waited until the last minute to tell me I don’t know. I ended up telling them I would box the TVs myself.

I would not recommend Authority moving group to anyone in the future. Get someone yourself and go for someone who is going to do the work themselves.

I needed a moving company that could move me from Texas up to Louisiana. I did a lot of hunting online before I came across this company. I called them to get a quote and they were very straight forward with me. Their prices were also very fair compared to a lot of the other places I called.

The day of my move they arrived on time and everything went exactly the way it was supposed to. They were very nice guys and not only was everything on the road on time but it was delivered exactly when they said it would be. I’m really happy that I found a moving company that’s not only affordable but high quality. They have excellent service. I highly recommend them and would use them again.

If you need a high quality moving company, you should go with Authority Moving Group. They were a dream come true.

I have used so many moving companies over the years and it’s always been a mess. I was starting to think that I would never find a company I could trust but moving myself long distance wasn’t an option for me. A friend recommended Authority and spoke very highly of them so I decided to give their service a shot.

I was impressed in every way. The movers were very nice guys and took their job seriously. All of my things were well cared for and the move was very timely. I also paid a fair price. Truthfully I would have paid double for this kind of service. Thank you.

This is the team that helped move me and they were excellent. I have never seen movers work so hard or fast. There were no issues at all during my move. They took care of all the delicate items and made sure they didn’t get damaged in transit. Through the whole move every single person I dealt with was so helpful and very friendly. I can honestly say this is the most professional moving company I have ever used. I highly recommend them for any moves you do. I know for sure that I will be using them for all of mine.

To put it simply, Authority Moving Group is amazing. They were able to give me the easiest move I’ve ever experienced. Authority was on top of everything - even things I would have never thought of. We hired them for both packing and moving services and both were done with so much care and attention to detail. My wife and I are older and really needed as much help as we could get so I really appreciate the hard work of this company. I highly recommend this moving company and have already sent family members there way. They were worth every penny we paid.

I got several quotes from several different moving companies before I decided on Authority Moving Group. These guys offered me a great price and they seemed to really know what they were doing. I could tell they had a lot of experience. The movers were courteous and were very in sync with each other. We didn’t have any sort of mishaps or issues through the whole move and given that we relocated over several states that’s saying a lot. I will definitely be using this company again and highly recommend them. Their prices are fair and their service is top notch.

From the first quote to the completion of our move Authority was the best. They mad everything go so smoothly. Their guys and truck arrive right on time. Their movers promptly got to work and did everything they could to make sure that the mover went smoothly. Everything arrived to our new home safely and without a single scratch. I appreciate the level of communication and professionalism that this company used throughout. My expectations were completed exceeded and I recommend Authority Moving Group happily.

I hired Authority to help us move cross country. They were wonderful. Through the whole process of our move they were very communicative and made sure to follow up with us several times before the actual move date. When it came to the move itself they were very fast and worked well with each other. It’s been several weeks and I haven’t noticed any damage to anything. It’s clear that this company knows exactly what it’s doing. I would definitely hire them again should I move in the future.

Authority came and did our move with only about a weeks notice. I was already impressed with that level of responsiveness but to top it off they also gave me what could easily be called the best move I have ever had. Their guys are so hard working and the attention to detail is just fantastic. I wish that had used them sooner because they’re the best movers I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I can’t stress enough that if you’re planning to move this company will do an amazing job for you.
