US Pro Moving and Logistics LLC

My dad hired US Pro Moving and Logistics to help us move my aunt from MO to NJ recently. We were a little bit nervous because we are all a bit old and slow for heavy work and we needed a lot of help. Walter and Sheldon showed up on time for the day of the move and then quickly put our minds at ease. They were very friendly, helpful and professional. They took real good care of everything for us and were just what we needed without being overpriced. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anybody.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3148

1. they put up fake reviews that are 5 star to boost their ratings

2. they don't pick up or return calls. Lost half of my stuff (including a queen sized mattress, how do you lose a mattress? unless their movers are stealing of course)

3. It has been close to 2 months with 0 updates on where my stuff is. No one has called to even let us know they are still looking or not

4. they increased the price at time of pick up, leaving us in a situation where we had no choice as someone else was moving into the unit and they decided to not let us know they are charging more

5. They damaged plenty of items on the way

6. Workers left me without assembling the bed (it was in contract, also they lost a mattress so I wouldn't be able to use it anyways, but that is besides the point)

7. Funny enough, they lost my queen mattress, most expensive suitcases full of clothes, bowflex dumbells (very expensive), and a box of electronics at minimum. I feel it is interesting the most expensive things are missing

I would never let even my worst enemy use this company.

My family and I have a home in Louisiana that was recently devastated by two hurricanes. We contacted MovingPros to obtain a quote to get some things out of the house. The sales guy gave us a quote and I let him know that I'd discuss it with my wife. As soon as I said these he was able to come back with a cheaper offer and promises that I could change anything if needed. We gave him our information for a deposit and hung up.

One hour later we called back attempting to cancel because we found out that the home was without power and water. There would also be a lot of trouble getting to the location because of emergency clean up. We were told our deposit was non refundable and when I asked to speak to a supervisor things got nasty.

I spoke to two guys (I strongly suspect they were the same person). They said things to me like, "Is this what you do just call to get money back because you're that broke?" or "We have a team a lawyers so bring it on." It was the most disgusting and ignorant exchange I've ever had with a business.

It's not about the money, we just don't like to throw it away. We reached out to our attorney and were told that disaster laws entitle us to a refund and will be requesting call logs to submit should we proceed legally.

More than willing to spend thousands of dollars here to protect anyone else from using such a scummy and scammy company. I will also be building a website dedicated to outing this company and the scum they hire. You will be able to google this within the next few weeks, where (if provided promptly) I will post the phone calls that occurred.

US Pro Moving NEVER told me who the moving company was who would actually move my goods. I’d they had, I would NEVER have agreed to use the subcontractor. Horrible reviews! Coming from MO to OH to move me 122 miles. The company THEY contracted with kept upping the estimate, wanted yo charge. “Long-carry charge”. US Pro cares ONLY about me signing a contract and get their cut! I even had the cashier’s checks made out to US Pro until the subcontractor told me that was incorrect. Horrible communication and follow through. They just don’t care!
