US Pro Moving and Logistics LLC

We had a very unfortunate experience with this moving company from start to finish. Our move was last minute and we called to get a quote and provided dimensions. The sales rep did not take our dimensions into account when giving us our quote and gave us a very low attractive estimate despite the fact we disclosed our furniture was large. We paid the deposit and were told the next day we’d receive a call to collect dimensions. We thought that was strange since we had been ready to provide at time of estimate but needed to keep things moving so let it go.

Next day When dimensions were provided again, our estimate was now increased by 50% ($2100 to $3500). We escalated that this felt like a phishing scam since being we were 5 days out from our move, the deposit was non refundable and we could not get out of our contract. The manager then said he reviewed the estimates and said that the QA specialist was wrong on his math and reduced our revised estimate to $2700.

Day of move arrives and we find out that we were also lied too regarding this company providing end to end service themselves and not using a broker. Immediately our foreman tells us that US pro moving did not give them an accurate estimate of the square footage our move would require in their truck. So now, our estimate jumped back up to $3500 and they were not even able to fit all of our things. We ended up needing to rent a uhaul trailer and hitch it to our car. Needless to say we felt robbed, scammed and uneasy but were also stuck at this point and out another $400.

We were then told our items would arrive within the week and that we’d receive 24 hours notice from the movers. This was critical seeing we both work full time and needed to secure our apartment freight elevator. Our move was contracted out to Best Quality Movers and our terrible customer experience continued on.

We received 2 hour notice for delivery and had many issues communicating with our delivery movers and dispatch. That will be a separate review for the moving company, but I will say upon trying to work with US pro moving to assist us with our delivery movers, we received zero support. We will try to reach out to US pro again to discuss our incredibly botched move and try to amend the situation. We paid a premium price for a very simple move (not even a full apartments worth of furniture) and received bottom of the barrel customer service.

We were lied to on multiple accounts, us movers couldn’t even book enough space for our items after dimensions were supplied twice, and they then contracted out the move and delivery of our items to a terrible company. We do not recommend using this company unless you enjoy feeling robbed, many headaches, and terrible customer service.

Back in March I call us pro to get a quote after finally getting a good price we booked my moving date. they extended my cancelation date until April 15, I called on April 13 to cancel my service and they told me I would get my refund in 4 to 10 business day. Until this date I haven’t Receive my money my deposit is $1800 I called 3 times and they cannot give me any information about it. They have me email the customer support department and I have email them over and over and I haven’t hear anything from them. I called them again and the person who answer the phone told me that she will personally Send a email to them from an internal email and I still haven’t heard anything. I’m moving from across the country and I need my money back soon to be able to continue my journey with my family.

Please use Caution when deciding on dealing with this company. No matter what the customer service representative tells you read the contract twice if not three times. This company has taken our money and not refunded us. They quoted us a price and a three day window for a storage unit move. We were like okay we seen the bad reviews but seen those good ones so decided to give this company the benefit of doubt. ¡We were so wrong! The movers came on the last day quoted 30 mins before the close out time. Then they jacked up the price over $1,300. Told us we would have to give them cash oh btw they showed up in a rental truck. Yes we already paid US pro movers $1,300 before we could even get the movers to show up. So we were like no as far as the cash so we all agreed on a check which was over $1,300 dollars written that night. Then they said oh we can't move your stuff tonight. We were like ¿Wait; WHAT??? Yeah they told us they had to come back to move it because they didn't have room in the truck for our boxes which was half of a 10x10 storage. So now we are like okay this company breached the price they quoted us. Granted if he would of weighed the stuff etc and said hey this is more okay thats reasonable. But just looking at it?? Come on... so they breached the price by the large increase, then they don't even try to attempt to move one single box on the date quoted to us. (So no our stuff was not moved on any of the days quoted to us.) Okay we were like well mess happens but a couple days later our stuff is still in storage which means they didn't come the next day to move it. So....We are like no thats not cool at all did we just get duped?? Plus we needed our stuff moved. So we canceled only after no one moved our stuff, as well as not showing up to move our stuff. Us pro movers said we will not be getting our refund back because we declined services. Yeah... they actually said that. I'm like Sir we needed them to pick our stuff up at that time I actually gave them a few days grace and this is what I get?? So yeah... we have filed a report with BBB and will be doing one with the Attorney General Office. Because this is happening way to much to a lot of people which is super not cool.

[FRAUD ALERT] US Pro Moving & Logistics is a fraudulent company. These guys are brokers, NOT a moving company. I called US Pro Moving and Logistics for a moving estimate and *** ****** gave me an estimate. She asked me about ALL of the furniture I am moving so I told her, she listed each piece in the contract, listed the estimated volume my furniture will take up in the movers' truck as 626 cubic feet, and quoted me a price. She took an advance deposit from me in the amount of $1077 on the same day to make the reservation. However, on moving day, when the moving company arrived, they said that the EXACT SAME FURNITURE that *** ****** had mentioned in the contract will take up at least 1200 cubic feet of space, and they said I need to pay AT LEAST $2500 to $3000 IN ADDITION to the total balance on the invoice. I told them that this is the mistake of US Pro Moving and Logistics, and the movers agreed with me. I told them that my furniture should be moved for the original price that I was quoted because it is not my mistake. They refused to provide me service so I didn't move with them. When I called US Pro Moving and Logistics to get my deposit back since it is the mistake of *** ******, they were extremely rude to me and KEPT MY DEPOSIT OF $1077. I not only lost money, but also had to endure a lot of stress on top of the moving stress that I already had. Trust me! DO NOT GIVE US PRO MOVING & LOGISTICS YOUR BUSINESS. You will regret it!!!! If you read other reviews, you will realize that this company has done the same thing to other customers too. YOU MIGHT BE THE NEXT ONE ON THEIR LIST! Give your business to another company. Again, THIS COMPANY IS FRAUDULENT!!!

US Pro Moving and Logistics is a moving logistics company, not a moving company. They just act as brokers for actual moving companies. Initial estimate for move cost was very reasonable, but kept going up with each interaction. I was not told actual moving company until day before schedule move. Movers showed up 2 days after scheduled move, took less than half of items, demanded an extra $487 for what they took, and left without giving us a detailed bill of lading. It has now two weeks after the scheduled delivery date and I don't have my shipment or even a delivery date for it.

This company is nothing but scam artists. They lie, cheat and steal. Don’t believe a word they say and find a different company. John Jay Williams (broker thief) will lure you in, he’s just like a Predator, he will lie to you, act like he cares about you and your family so you gain his trust then he will scam you. He doesn’t care about you and your family, it doesn’t matter to him he just scams everyone he can. I can Go on and on, hopefully you hear what I’m saying and don’t use this company
