Please use a reputable moving company. Pay the few extra hundred dollars so you get a professional company who doesn't haggle once all your items are on the truck (the guy in charge called his boss and said we had no more than 450 sq ft but in the end charged us for 500 sq ft), doesn't require payment to a random phone number through Venmo or zelle, doesn't mistreat and cause damage to your items (many items were damaged but the most frustrating was my baby's mattress her great grandmother bought for her. They folded it in half and taped it and I had no idea they did this until items arrived), doesn't force you to sign a document stating you will not sue them for any reason after they've loaded all your stuff, doesn't ignore your calls and concerns, doesn't over charge you for the job (our delivery driver said our cubic feet was 50 less than we paid).

Please, pay a reputable company that gives you a delivery window, answers phone calls, has a working voicemail system (because this company does not), has an insurance option that pays more than $.60/item, takes payment using a debit or credit card (we paid the deposit with a card but weren't allowed to do that for the rest of the payments), loads all the items on the quote list (this company tried to stop packing and I still had 8-10 items unpacked that were on the list), uses their own workers and trucks (this company showed up with their own truck but delivered with a one way rental). Before I decided to go with this company UNITED TRANSPORTATION I think I called every company there is! I thought it was funny because almost every company that I called only talked trash about all the other company's especially the cheaper priced company's! The WORST company with the highest price was Premiervanlines and Neena is the most horriblest person to deal with she lies and that's is told to me by at least 15 people that had problems with her. Plus she was charging me 2 1/2 times more! I didn't know who to go with at first but what made decied to go with UNITED TRANSPORTATION was the man on the phone! RODGER REED, he spoke like he really cared and that he also really listened to whatI was saying not to mention that he really worked on getting me the best deal out there! I knew that I had a LOT of things and I was sure something would get broke and I was right but it wasn't that bad and when I called Rodger with in minutes he had set me up with the information I needed to file a claim. I don't know if he's a employee or if he's a owner but he really does good at his job! I have already referred 2 people to them and would definitely use them again.  They are not only the best price but they are thousands less then other places! No place can be perfect but this place comes pretty close! They even packed my big glass table top! They wrap all my furniture too! The claim is very easy as well just fill out the form and take photos and send them in and they take care of it!  .

I found United Transportation online and was very pleased with the care they took with my belongings. The support staff was excellent in staying in touch with me (even when I nearly forgot to list some furniture for the estimate) and that the movers were careful with everything. Nothing was broken in the move.I was moving from California to Arizona, and found this company to be excellent for such a long move. I would recommend them. For a long distance move (the first I have ever done with professional movers) I was pleasantly surprised at the low cost.

United did an amazing job on my move. The sales department explained all the information to me regarding their services. They had sent a visual estimator out, but after I check around it turned out their price was the most fair of the ones I looked into, so I went with them.The day of the pick up, the dispatched confirmed everything. It was a two day pick up for my 4 bedroom house and 6 of their guys would be coming. They packed all my things on the first day, everything looked perfect. They loaded it all on the second day. Then I got a call from customer service to make sure everything was OK with my move. These guys really have great service.The dispatcher called me to confirm my delivery, and when they arrived, the guys worked fast, were very professional, and they got all of my furniture set up, boxes put where I wanted, and they did a great job cleaning up after they were done.None of my things were broken, stolen, or damaged. Everything was just professional and went over smoothly, very different than what I expected. It was a stress free move, and I would recommend these guys for the great job they did moving my family into our new home.

I checked a lot of companies before I moved to NY.  I found United.  I spoke with Natalie, who was very helpful.  Got me all the information I needed and gave me a fair price.  It was not the cheapest, but it was fair.  I wouldn't want the cheapest price for a long distance move.
Roger, the dispatcher confirmed the day before on times.  Guys showed up on time.  Worked very fast.  No problems.  Delivery on time and no damages.  The company followed up with me to make sure everything was going well, which was assuring.  Recommended for anyone.  All in all United made my move easier.  Thank you!
