I initially spoke with Thomas. He completely walked me through the entire steps of how my moving will be and went step by step over my inventory with me. I did however forget a few items , but I got the chance to add everything before the movers arrived. On the day of my move, I had everything loaded on to the truck and they began my move to Indiana. I wasn’t ready for my things for a few weeks after picking it up so they allowed me to use a first available date so my items wouldn’t arrive before I did. That helped me out so much and I got the chance to get my house ready for me and my items. I am very pleased by how everyone was willing to work with me around my situation. If anyone ever asked me, I would always recommend United relocation!

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $7350

After dozens and dozens of calls I finally caved in and used United Relocation only because they were so persistent and I was crunched for time to get this move in order. It was a pretty small move 2b 2b across the state but even so I can say that they were very accommodating to my needs and were extremely thorough during the whole process. The movers arrived on-time and were very friendly and extremely thorough. Everything was packed with extra bubble wrap as I had requested and even though I did add a few extra items at the end I wasn't penalized to heavy for it. The entire delivery process took 2 days to arrive to the drop off location. It happened to be the same group of guys as pick-up so it made things very smooth and comfortable from the start. They helped my wife put things back in the spots that were needed and nothing was broken or damaged during transit. My quote was higher in the end but that's because I had added some extra items on at the end, so that was to be expected. Overall it was a good experience and I would use them again.

Me and my husband had gotten dozens of calls from companies in such a short span we really just got fed up and picked the one that was middle of the line in terms of price. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. They were informative about the pre-move and what to expect. The day of the move, there was a small delay with the truck arriving but that's to be expected with these circumstances. The guys were very friendly and cautious with our belongings. The entire move took 4 days with a short stop in between. We were called by our rep to inform us of this delay which I really appreciated. The day of move in was a little hectic, the delivery guys were different then the first but was ok as they were just as friendly and hardworking. They helped us position our items back in the necessary spots and were very careful with the breakable items. For such a short last minute move, I was pleasantly surprised with the service and price that we payed.

United Relocation offered me $500 refund so I would not write this honest, true review and I refused because I wanted to warn people of how terrible my experience was with them.

I have a two year old and we were moving across the country so I thought hiring a moving company would be best- not if you're hiring this company.

They tell you your move will occur in a two day window. At no point did they warn me this could change. They pushed our move TWO days which caused us to incur over $1500 in costs because of this, largely due to losing our deposit because we couldn't vacate our apartment on time. They informed us of this about 24 hours before our first potential moving day which meant I had packed our entire apartment, sold things like our bed, etc. Had I known this was going to happen I would have preferred to rent a U-Haul and drive it myself but at this point they said I couldn't get my deposit back so I was trapped.

In addition they overcharged me for our move and refused to refund my money as they promised. Like all moving companies, they ask you to provide them an inventory of your move. I provided the inventory and they assured me multiple times the quote was "worst case scenario" and everything would be weighed and measured after pick-up. They did not weigh or measure our things but instead they kept the entire amount we paid when I was told by numerous employees there the cost would be adjusted after our things were picked up. They never made any adjustments. Not only that, the quality assurance representative told me I would not be charged for a couch that added $700 to our quotation. When I asked him via text message if I would be charged if I sold the couch since our move was delayed he said I would not be charged for anything they did not pick-up. They kept that $700 and would only refund me the $500 if I signed something that legally prevented me from reporting them to BBB and writing reviews like this one.

In addition to the above which cost us many thousands of dollars. Their customer service is TERRIBLE. I spent hours and hours of my life over the week before our move and several weeks after on the phone with people who promised me credits and price adjustments. I was promised managers would call me back. They never did. They made it impossible for me to get answers and most importantly collected our full quoted amount for our move, meanwhile promising me there would be price adjustments after the move was weighed or measured. After they collected our things they told me they wouldn't refund my money because I paid the movers the full amount (which is what they told me to do).

Their business practices are so shady and sneaky and I hope you read this review and choose a better company. They by far the worst business I have every worked with. I can't understand how they can get away with operating in this way.

I haven't been able to examine all of our things yet, as they were delivered to storage so I can't even tell how that went. I am afraid to look.

Find another moving company. These guys will take advantage of you and lie to you to make the company more money.

Update: I still have yet to get my money back from this company. My furniture is still in storage. No check has been issued for all my damaged furniture that was mostly brand new with tags. Thank God I took pics before they started moving. My son was also recording so we have great pics. I also have the the main mover in charge in a pic that charged me over 10,000+ more dollars. He only took the legs of all my tables and counted each individual leg as more inventory. As you can see, not one reply on here from the company. This is a scam and they deserve to be in jail. This has completely damaged my life and caused so much stress. I haven’t slept in my bed or wore any of my clothes since August. Basically the things my son and I fit into the car is how we have been living. Let’s see if United Relocation has a response!

I got in touch with these guys after days of looking and I was so stressed out I ended up pulling the trigger with them because they were really thorough and they didn’t waste my time or theirs with scams and BS that other people seemed to be throwing at me. It was a little expensive but I moved a lot of stuff. A 2 bedroom home, a home office and my car. So with that being said the price was still better than most places I talked to. I had some minor damages, nothing that wasn’t easily fixable and they made sure I was quickly compensated. Their customer service team was also very helpful throughout the process. I haven’t seen such warm folks working anywhere in a long time.

When I needed to relocate from Alabama to Florida for work, I didn’t know where to start. I heard about United from a friend that had used them before. They made it easy from beginning to end. I booked my move with Mike Starr. He took the time to go through everything I needed moved, worked with my budget, and was available for any questions I had. The movers were a little late, but were very apologetic and moved my things quickly. My things were delivered on time and handled with care. I would recommend them to anyone that is moving.

I had to move on short notice and scrambled to secure a mover. United relocation reached out to me after filling out for a quote online. They were easy to work with and I gave them a list of items I was moving. There price was reasonable so we went with them. They did a good job on pick up but it did take a long time. Atleast they didn't break anything. The delivery went smoothly and they even helped hang a TV on the wall. There were some minor issues but I guess you can expect that during any move. Overall it was a good experience and I would use them again.

I hired this company to move from Virginia down to the Miami area for work and as much as I was dreading it, I did what I had to do. A friend had used them and recommended I give them a shot so I did. They were around the same price point as a few other places I got quotes from but since a friend had used them and had a good experience I chose them. I wasn't disappointed and it took like 6 days for the whole thing which is apparently unheard of so I'm a satisfied customer.

I couldn't be more pleased with this company. I was in a real bind nobody would help me and these guys went above and beyond their way to help me out. James waere from Baton Beach Florida was the first person I talk to he heard in my voice how stressed I was from looking for somebody to help me out. he talked to his GM about my situation and they gave me an even better deal than what they had to begin with they worked with what I could afford and made it happen they're great I wish I could say more for everybody looking to move out of state you need to stop calling everybody and call these guys cuz they're great. charla h.

Who proceeded to double the cost of the move, hold my belongings hostage until I signed new agreements, delay the delivery by weeks, and then break a significant amount of my belongings.

As far as moving vehicles, United Relocation called me on the day of the pick up to inform me the vehicle they quoted to move for $1,100 would now cost $1,600. And then took three times longer to deliver than promised. By the way - if you call their customer service line for auto transportation, no one answers and the voice mail is full so you can't even pretend to complain.

This place is the absolute worst! My father is sold his house in nevada and is shipping his stuff to my house in Texas and tried this place out. Huge mistake. First thing I listed was a refrigerator, 2 double dressers couch and love seat. We went over everything , was told I was in place for a huge price break blah, blah, blah. Then about 4 days later (after we paid 850.00 for the deposit and after the cancellation period of 72 hours) I get an email verifying everything was still on and I scrolled down and looked T the inventory list and no refrigerator or dressers. And now the price went from 2400 to 4300 dollars. Seriously? Or eat the original 856.00 dollar deposit. They get you over a barrel and there's nothing you can really do about it. They still have yet to call or email a delivery date and they picked up a week ago. Be warned, steer clear!! These people should be in jail in my opinion.

I was relocating for a Job and went online to research companies and decided to go with United Relocation LLC. They weren't the cheapest qoute that I was offered but I decided to go with them because they were upfront about how the whole process was going to work and they didn't pressure me to sign a contract. The actual move was 3 guys and they had everything on the truck in about 5hrs. My rep stayed in touch during the whole process and gave me updates on where our stuff was, which was very reassuring. It took about 6 days for our stuff to arrive and everything was exactly as we had packed it. There was a couple minor scratches but that's bc I hadn't bubble wrapped a few items in boxes. Overall this company was upfront about cost, punctual on timing, and had great communication. Throughout the entire process. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and will use them again in the future. Thanks soo much!!

We went through a list of things! I was in one state my contents of my home were in another.
So, until I’m home I’m not 100% sure of anything.
Allison said don’t worry we can add things later when your home.
As soon as I filled out the paperwork on line and sent the $1,200.00 deposit I was all set with a date to move!
I tried to contact them again to make changes !
All numbers were non existing!
I re read the contract again contacted every number in the contract with NO results.
I called the driver Andrew and he reassured me things would go smoothly and not to worry!
I still tried to get a hold of Allison.
She sits in her grand office in Boyton Beach, Fla.
I found a email address to the company and sent a letter of cancellation, because Nobody from the company had a working number! All numbers had recordings from Verizon that said I could be charged for this call and to hang up!
As soon as Allison saw that letter e/ mail she left a message for me!
I called her and she went on and on about herself and how great she was and from this great family from the East Coast and why did I turn on her!
Well I’ve never heard a word again and I’m out $1,200.00 period and have not moved yet!
I’m 77 years old and feel like I’ve been swindled by this company !
Oh I will never get my deposit back!! Read the fine print!!
So, if your moving make sure you call a local near your town moving company.
They should come to your home give you an estimate

United relocation is hands-down the worst relocation company on the planet! I utilize their services for a stress-free move experience however, I received the total opposite. I was assured that they would communicate effectively with me throughout the entire process and I had nothing to worry about, After paying my initial deposit I received zero communication from them.

United does not provide any services due to the fact they subcontract your entire move! United did not stick to any deadlines they promised, in fact, they showed up over a day late would not enough space to move all of my items.

The delivery was 3 days early and the delivery guys lost all of the power cords for my televisions and the screws for my television stand. To top it all off, one of the guys was incompetent and the other drilled unnecessary holes in my walls in an attempt to mount my TV without a stud finder. To top off my entire fiasco, customer service and these subcontracted driving company all acted as though I was to blame.

If you would like to have the worst experience ever with a company that is a glorified middle man, please book them. However, if you're looking for professionalism and a company that's going to adhere to their contracts this is not the company for you!

I previously wrote a review for this company and wanted to amend it somewhat. My daughter hired them to move her items from KS to TX. In my previous review I commented on how unprofessional they were and they do not have the best interest of their customers at heart. With that being said, they offered to refund her about half of what she paid them immediately or a little more in four installments if she did not write a negative review. She agreed to this as a portion of what she paid was a nonrefundable broker fee. However, since I knew what she had been through, I chose to write a review of this company. The next morning after I wrote the review, they called her and told her the deal was off, because her mother wrote a negative review. Really?!!

Funny how they didn't have any trouble calling her to tell her the deal was off, yet they couldn't call her and let her know that their truck broke down and wouldn't be there when promised. Also funny that they apparently only had one truck?

So as I stated before, do your research before using United Relocation out of Florida. Maybe your experience will be different, and I hope it is. But when you are moving and are on a deadline and have to be out of your apartment by a specific time, you need someone dependable and trustworthy.

Unfortunately, United Relocation is neither reliable or trustworthy.

My agent Alison was great. I have never moved before and spent three hours on the phone with her asking every question imaginable. She was patient and informative. They even gave me a discount. I chose United Relocation because not only was their service sincere, the price was great. I felt comfortable with my choice. Moving day came and the movers where on time and worked quick. Everything was packed and loaded with care and arrived on time in the same condition it left. Im very happy with my service.
