U Pack

When my items reached my new home in Florida they were DESTROYED. I have THOUSANDS of dollars in damages due to inept poor driving and UPack is taking NO responsibility for the damages. They are claiming it is not their fault. It is clear that the damages were due to drivers going over bumps and curbs at high rates of speed and slamming on their breaks. Upack is refusing to show me the driver logs and the maintenance logs on the trucks. They are claiming that since they did not pack the truck it is not their responsibility. Well hence the name UPack - they will never have to take responsibility for ANY damages. This is the WORST company and most irresponsible company I have EVER dealt with. Buyer beware when using this company - they do not give a [EDIT] about the things they are hauling in their trucks, they only care about the money in their wallets and cover up for their drivers. .

Service cost: $12000

We moved from central California to Ada, Oklahoma and it was seemless! The truck arrived for us to load on time and they were very pleasant to deal with and answered all of our questions. The truck took about 8 days to arrive (not including weekends) and they gave us notice before heading our way. We had plenty of time to pack and unpack the truck and we’re pleasantly surprised to have nothing broken (though that would have been on us since we packed the truck). I would recommend this company to anybody who is moving this is the only way to do it! Note: First picture is when it left our house in California the second picture is when it arrived to us in Ada Oklahoma (we added a couple things after we took the first picture)

We were so impressed with UPACK!! We knew we needed more than 1 Pod but probably not all of 2 Pods. By having the flexibility of the entire truck or only part of it was amazing.. We way under estimated how much we would need. Having the extra room was a life saver.. Our things arrived quickly and in good shape.. The process was easy, customer service was great, and the drivers were so friendly and helpful.. We would definitely recommend and use them again. Our only recommendation is that they install handles on the bulkhead for easier moving. Other than that we were thoroughly impressed. Cheaper than Pods and easy to use website to handle the whole process.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $6550

I used 5 feets space of upack trailer for my move from Pittsburgh PA to Austin, TX. Everything was smooth like pickup, transit and drop at the destination.

There are few issues I had with my move

1) They charged my credit card for full trailer but I only used 5 feets. I had to make few calls for dispute and it took almost a week for correction.

2) Upack trailer ride is rough, It is spring ride which is not good for furniture etc. I recommend go for air ride which is better for long distance move.

2) My stuff got water damage in the transit. Upack trailers are supposed to be water proof. My stuff were soak in water and had mold. I did not aspect water damage and getting mold all over my stuff.

Where to start?

ABF delivered our trailer without any issues. The driver was extremely helpful and showed exceptional customer service!

Alvin with ABF in Albuquerque NM allowed us to keep the trailer an extra day when we couldn't load it in time. That was a HUGE relief!

Kelly B. with U-Pack was extremely helpful during our drive. She helped me feel reassured and confident that our trailer was being delivered safely.

Our trailer arrived in Atlanta FAST and Dawn with ABF Atlanta was kind enough to hold the trailer while we were still on the road to ATL.

The BEST part is we were able to arrive in ATL and have a few days to recover from the long drive before unloading the trailer.

Chiquima Terry at Extra Space Storage 1249 Northside Dr. was INCREDIBLY helpful with finding a safe place for our trailer to be parked for unloading. She also showed EXCEPTIONAL customer service during this final but very stressful stage of our move.

I did my research on all our options for this move.

With U-Pack we used 15 feet of the trailer and paid WAY less than any other option. PLUS this process was WAY easier than driving a moving truck and towing my car.

It was also much cheaper than using PODS.

I will recommend UPack to everyone. They told me the price and how it would work. It cost exactly what they quoted, nothing extra added and they delivered the truck and picked up when they said they would. I asked for an extra day to load because it poured for two days and they allowed me the day with no charge. Everyone I talked to through the process were very friendly and explained everything so I could understand it. The delivery Drivers were friendly and put the truck exactly where I wanted it. Explained how everything worked with the ramp and the divider doors. I can not say enough good things about the service/experience with Upack.

Like many others, we were skeptical about using U-Pack. Well, fret no more! We just completed a move from Nevada to Texas. The move went seamlessly from drop off of our Relo Cube in Nevada to delivery in Texas. Customer Service was excellent in answering my questions and making some minor changes to the drop off date. The contracted companies called as stated they would with their one day notice of drop off and the one hour notice for delivery in Texas. U-Pack pricing simply cannot be beaten. The quote given is just that, no hidden fees or extra charges. We are totally impressed with this company. My daughter intends to use U-Pack for an upcoming move to Florida. We highly recommend them.
