Long-distance move from Bucyrus, KS to Blountville, TN

Will be using Trinity Relocation for every move

Jacob and Frank were both excellent to work with, they arrived on time with great attitudes and were professional and friendly throughout our moving experience. Both movers took care of our important pieces and communicated with us throughout the move, enabling us to help expedite the process where we could and giving us plenty of transparency around costs and timing. While we didn't move very far, they made the move as seamless and easy as it could possibly be, we would highly recommend Trinity Relocation Group for anyone looking to make a move.

Local move from Raiford, FL to Bradenton, FL

None of the furniture got banged up

The movers came a tad late because their previous job ended up taking longer than anticipated. But once the truck and crew arrived, the movers immediately got to it to make up for the late start. Once we showed them what needed to be moved, they were literally running up and down our stairs to make up for lost time. And they let you help with the small stuff if you want things to go faster. We got done way before the estimated time. Hopefully we won't be moving for a while. But if we do, we'll most definitely go with Trinity Relocation Group.

Discriminatory Driver and No Digital bill

Due to Job transfer, we moved from Cali. to TX. They give business to Cross Country Relocation. You cannot request anything to them. I requested below things to them, but both Moti(Driver) and James are super rude. I was afraid of him (driver). Below things were requested from my husband but he took money before unloading stuff and he told me I know my job , I don't want to listen to you.

He racially discriminated my country also(india- I am super proud of). He told us we(indians) discriminate against poor people in india without any reason.

1. During this pandemic, I requested Moti(Driver) to wear shoe bag or remove shoes in carpet to enter my house. He denied.

2. My husband ask just to side the big carton out for taking some impt .stuff. In very loud voice , he told I know my job. Don't talk with me and racially discriminated against our country.

3. My husband company needs a written email from Trinity that I have paid 3000$ (max in cash). They are asking for wait for another 2 weeks for small email or digital bill. In this digital world (21st century) after paying 3000$ , a customer cannot even ask for digital bill or deserve it immediately.

I strongly recommend not to use Trinity because of extremely rude behavior and racial discrimination.

Good point

Service was good. Only 1 side table and 1 light broken. I am fine with it.

We were stress fee throughout

These guys did not mind about the storm or weather. I don't really know how to thank the Trinity mover’s team for their extremely hard work, reliability and friendly manner. Upon the storm, yet they secured every of my stuff and nothing was affected or misplaced. The price was very good and the job was also done on time with careful manner. For sure, I would always let them move me.

Scammers and Dishonest! Stay away from this moving company

First, movers showed up with NO MASK which clearly violated Public Storage's policy, and I am sure his own company's as well as TRINITY.

His response was he would just keep his distance and place his T-shirt over his mouth. After he saw that would not be acceptable, he sent his co-worker to go buy some masks.

After the conversation of them not having a mask, he began to look at the items in the unit and quickly pointed out he would be charging additional money. I asked him why when I specifically told TRINITY, I had a full 10x10 unit and his response was that they are a 3rd party and are the actual movers.

He added that TRINITY just sells, doesn't know how to measure properly and always gets it wrong.

In the end, he added an additional $1200, for the 10x10 unit which I find absolutely wrong and just a "racket" since we have no choice as customers but to pay whatever they say.

I feel very mislead by Trinity as the movers made it clear to me that Trinity always does this and gets it wrong.

At the end when he charged the additional $1200 to the bill (and another $1200, once delivery happens) I told the driver I would like his boss' card, his response was "are you sure you want to this?" I said, "excuse me? he said again, "I'm asking are you sure you want to call the boss?"

I pointed out to the mover that his statement had a threatening innuendo. He said again, "I'm just asking if you are sure you want to call the boss?"

How should I take a statement like that??? And these people are driving to my home to deliver my items??

In the end, we have several issues to deal with, 1) not following COVID-19 standard protocols 2) being misled and held hostage by pricing and hearing from the 3rd party movers that TRINITY does this all the time and gets the measurements wrong 3) threatening statements being made to a (female) customer.

TRINITY did absolutely nothing to assist me NOT even take my phone calls. Tracy and Sadie would not listen to me personally as they were the ones in charge of reviewing my case but would not talk to me. Stay away from this company. Choose another company for your sanity.

Would recommend them to anyone planning a move

We had a big move with a lot of boxes, which we were stressing about. We had a three man team who turned up on time and were so polite, friendly, helpful and worked incredibly hard during a long day to get everything relocated safely, even stopping off on the way to drop off some furniture. Nothing was too much trouble for them, worth every cent for the peace of mind, absolutely brilliant.

TRINITY RELOCATION GROUP FARMED OUT OUR JOB TO A TERRIBLE COMPANY

Trinity was lovely to work with during the estimate process. They then farmed out my move to a horrible company (Patriot Relocation Corp in NJ, which has a D+ Better Business Bureau rating). Trinity also promised to complete various forms so that my employer could pay the moving company directly and never did. So I had to lay out $12k and wait to be reimbursed. Patriot took 46 days to move my stuff and used people they hired off Craigslist (during a pandemic) to move our stuff into our new house. Trinity was no help after we gave them their deposit. Things were broken, gouges out of our floor and our drywall and we were sent to a third company to file a claim and 6 months later we are still waiting. I don’t expect anything at this point. Worst experience with a moving company ever.

The gentlemen who came to my house to review the transfer was very professional. I made it easy to choose from. On the day of my transfer, the team was professional and knowledgeable throughout the whole process about my needs. They did so much quicker than I planned, placed it all in order and zero mess or any injury. If you are thinking of moving,I highly recommend them.

If Honesty, Integrity, Fair Pricing, and Customer Care are important t

This company is just a broker, they will charge you over $1000 just to find a mover for you. Not only that, they will hire the worst, dishonest, and careless moving company without a care for you. Once you sign the contract, however, you are locked in and must accept the movers they chose. When those movers destroy your things, charge unnecessary fees, lie, and refuse to pay damages, Trinity will ignore your calls for months until finally they say there is nothing they can do. They offered me $100 to not post a negative review. Don’t let the sales people fool you, Trinity will lie to get your money and once they have it, you won’t hear from them again.

Take out the middle-man and find your own movers that you can trust!

Long-distance move from Upper Marlboro, MD to Atlanta, GA

I should have chosen differently!

I should have done more research to find a reputable mover! I hired Trinity Relocation Group because I believed they worked with a group of reputable partners who would be professional and efficient. I did not expect to have to give up quality and respect. To begin, I was never informed that the mover that was assigned to pick up my belongings would be hiring help off of Craigslist to come in and help them move me out of my residence. It was a total shock.

On the loading end, the move out of my home in Maryland was extremely lengthy, inefficient and slow. Lead mover Garrett was rude and not customer friendly. When I asked the length of time that it would take to complete the move he became agitated. He did not want to answer basic questions; The movers from patriot smoked in the garage, (setting their cigarettes on my furniture) and the smoke came back into the home to the kitchen level.

A hole was punched in the wall and some of the drywall from a corner of the stairwell was taken off. The movers did not line the stairs or walls with any sort of protective covering and the stairs were damaged as well as other pieces of furniture. Significant additional charges beyond my expectations were added to the bill, nearly doubling my original estimate.

On the delivery end in Atlanta, the driver did not have any movers available on site to help him when he arrived. He was asking other moving crews that were on site with other customers if they could help him unload the truck. Extremely unprofessional. When I asked where his helpers were, he told me “don’t worry about that“. Other people on site chimed in and told him that it is some thing for me to worry about as I am his customer.

I asked again how long it would be before his help arrived, and he said 30 minutes. He became very frustrated that I would not rearrange my entire schedule to meet him the next day.

Eventually, two men came and began to assist him with unloading the truck. But before that, I asked him to simply open the doors to the truck so that I could see that my belongings were on there before I provided him with the final cash payment of over $2400. He refused to show me my belongings. He asked me very rudely if I thought he would drive all that way and not have my belongings. I told him it has nothing to do with him or trust, I just preferred to see my belongings prior to turning over almost $2500 in cash as a final payment. It was a simple request. Once again, other movers unrelated to my situation on site stated that it’s not uncommon at all for a mover to show a customer that their belongings are on the track before providing final cash payment.

After having to wait an hour before he had any help arrive, to add insult to injury and he refused to waive any additional fees such as the distance from the truck to the moving storage unit. I was charged an additional $250 above and beyond the nearly $2500 in cash I’d just paid for him to get on an elevator to take my items to a storage unit. A $4,400 moved turned into over $7K! I insisted again that he simply open the doors to the truck so that I could visibly see my belongings before providing my final cash payment and he reluctantly obliged.

I never felt treated as a valued customer, I was spoken to in very disrespectful tones by Patriot movers and basically ignored by employees of Patriot Movers that did not want to answer legitimate questions that I had as a customer.

I was never told that Movers that were not part of a moving company would be present during this process. I was under the impression that any mover I hired would have their own bonded and licensed employees handling my belongings.

I am very disappointed that Trinity connected me with the transportation provider that had extremely poor service and poor communication. I would hope that Trinity would not continue to work with this broker. I was also never told that my belongings would be going to a storage facility in New Jersey pending the delivery date. I had no insight into what would be happening with regard to the process at all.

No solutions

I do not recommend trinity at all.The day of the call to tell us what day they were coming to load up they called said they had mechanical issues if we could move back date we said yes. The next day no call I called them before 5 and was told it was canceled because of truck issue they did not offer up any solutions to the problem for us just thanks and bye. They sound professional but they are brokers in other words middle man who don’t really care one bit. Because of it being so close to time to move unable to get a reputable company. I would trust anything they say get a van lines company. If I could zero stars I would.

Would never recommend

These guys are the classic bait and switch con job. The amazing salesman is a suave smooth talker and has the hook about their amazing company and why not to pay attention to the angry folks leaving negative reviews ... Dylan(salesman) is absolutely AMAZING...I bought in... hook, line and sinker. I was then passed off to Bruce... wow! Guessing I’m NOT one in a million to the disrespect, verbal abuse and con job that he presents. Bruce puts me ( obviously stressed and emotional with the move anyway) through so much turmoil, doubling my price, saying basically it is what it is, and threatening to hang up and block me if I question his pricing. I AGREE because obviously I have already signed a contract with Trinity. Not a way out at that point ...That was literally the last I EVER heard from ANYONE in the company. Not a call to ask if the movers contacted me, how the move was... even who the movers would be... NEVER heard from ANYONE again. I paid double what I should have to be spoken down to, verbally manhandled and royally ripped off. PLEASE PLEASE call a local mover, even if you pay more than you think you should... you won’t pay double for NOTHING.. no help, no security and all the ‘promises-and song ‘n dance never amounting to anything. Know what you're getting into

Just know that these guys will say anything to get the sale (most of our stuff arrives in five days!) and then pawn off your shipment to the lowest bidder. The company they contracted my shipment to (Ortiz Services LLC) is probably the most poorly run organization I've ever had the misfortune of coming into contact with. I told Trinity I wanted the full coverage and not the substandard (.60 cents/pound aka $10K tv that weighs 10 lbs if broken is $6 back) coverage. That request wasn't reflected or addressed when the movers showed up. When the movers arrived, Trinity wiped their hands clean, "sir, you need 72 hours to inform them/us about desire for insurance." which is totally untrue (https://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/protect-your-move/valuation-insurance see the part that says "released value insurance" refusal to sign AUTOMATICALLY reverts to full value... but you have to accept the price add on). Both Ortiz/Trinity kept telling me the "72 hour lie" until after an hour on the phone and a call to the DOT to file a complaint... they connected me with a customer service rep who quoted me an additional $6K, yes - $6K, on an estimated $3K move. Absurd, but I had proven my point. I wanted them to admit that they HAD to provide the option and not lean on some arbitrary 72 hour window to force you to sign the released value. Sounds kind of fraudulent to me... I haven't received my goods and don't expect to for another month. They are nice enough on the phone (actually very nice), but they hire garbage companies (mine literally answers the phone with "moving" and that's it... could that sound any sketchier? It sounds like they sell stolen organs on the black market) and wash their hands clean of you at that point. Take my advice, go direct and pay more to have a REAL company come give you an estimate and have a REAL company move your stuff. Better yet, rent a uhaul and tour our beautiful United States on the way to your next destination. I wish I had. These guys ain't it, chief. And I'll be on every website letting the good people know the truth until my stuff eventually arrives (with stolen kidneys!). Also, check out the positive reviews and responses. Seem similar in prose/syntax? Questionable.... Cheers and God speed.

Thank you for taking away my moving stress!

If you need to move this company is outstanding. From my initial phone call with Kevin walking me through the process to the actual move I cannot say enough good things. DO NOT USE. 33% MORE than estimate.

Every review here that says Trinity overcharges you above the estimate is telling you the truth! I had the same bad experience. I was given a reasonable estimate by Trinity.Trinity was very nice to secure my business. And when Trinity called to confirm my estimate, I shared that I had more boxes. So my estimate went up. Completely reasonable. But when the 3rd party moving company arrived and loaded my materials, my final amount went from $6K to $9K — most of which they demanded be in cash, money order, or Zelle. What reputable business doesn’t accept credit? (In fairness, Trinity told this prior to pickup, but I didn’t expect the estimate to be off by so much. I should have answered my own question and go with another company.) How is the estimate off by $3000?!! I said that I had the equivalent of a 3 bedroom home. I have a lot of items. But no living furniture, no dining room furniture, no bedroom dressers, and no kitchen table! Outrageous!

The 3rd party moving company sent an experienced driver but an inexperienced crew who inadvertently banged my furniture into walls. They worked hard otherwise and they were nice.

I would never use this low quality broker company again. Call Two Men and a Truck. I will!!

Disgraceful, shameful, dishonest

Stay away from this shameful, despicable, uncredible and dishonest operation. Trinity Relocation Group ( a broker for movers) is completely dishonest and uncaring and is only interested in the sale. Shamefully, they posited themselves on their website and with their name using (since removed) religious language, shame on them!

To the owner: I was told his name is Brian Fox. Please DO NOT respond to my post unless you are prepared to make good on the original estimate which I so carefully detailed with Brian when the sale was made. How awful to put the movers in such an awkward position when they show up to complete the service. What about individuals on a strict and detailed budget?

Almost of the reviews basically say the same thing. The customer felt ripped off. However, I will give a plug to the moving company ALL-POINTS MOVING, please contact them directly and spare your self the anger. I take full responsibility for not researching more carefully during a stressful period. I was eager to get the move booked anticipating that summer is a busy season.

• Brian, a slick salesperson, abruptly removed my move from the schedule when I did not deposit quickly enough as was tirelessly working remotely from home during the pandemic.

• I moved from a 1 bedroom in NYC only boxes, an office chair and large mirror (which was subsequently removed at the last minute). No large furniture.

• Was told at the time of the SALE was that I had a lot of “wiggle room” with such a small move and they work with NYC buildings all the time.

• Was quoted $1652.74. actually paid $3522.85, $1870.00 above the quote.

• I tipped generously on pick-up and delivery. The movers deserve it.

• Periodically from the time that I booked the move with Brian, I reached out a few times and emails went unanswered, except for one.

• I called Customer Service and explained I did not want any surprises and was assured there would not be and to have a money order for 1/3 of the cost prepared which I did. The move was calculated in thirds deposit, pick-up, delivery.

• Prior to the move I was in Florida where they are based and drove to a non-existent office. I wanted to go over and last details. When I arrived at their address, I did not see any office, so I called and spoke to Daniel who kept putting me on hold. They would not allow me in using COVID as an excuse. Florida is a state where everything has been open for months.

• 3 movers showed on moving day and I was immediately told there would be a $500.00 long carry fee, this was never explained/reviewed during the SALE. I was only told how familiar they are with NYC apartment buildings.

• Was also immediately told by the lead mover that the move was going to cost more.

• The movers were through in under 1 hour. Only 2 at a time worked since one watched the truck.

• After much back-and forth with the ALL-POINTS Moving company, they agreed to take a personal check. They would not take AMEX.

• I called Trinity’s customer service immediately as this was unfolding and one agent (did not get her name) hung up on my husband.

• I called back and went through sales to get to customer service. A woman named Sadie was helpful and patient and told me she would review the tapes since all calls are recorded. I followed up with an email and got no response.

• I called again and spoke to Caleb, he was snide and rude. It was apparent from our discussion that my emails were read. I requested at least a refund for the $500.00. I asked again about the tapes and was not given a response.

• I have since emailed 3 requests to listen to the sales and customer service calls, my emails have been completely ignored and unanswered.

Stay away from these thieves!! This operation preys on people during a stressful time. They take advantage and place the movers in a terrible situation, how sinful.

Awful company

One star is generous. Trinity is not a moving company They are broker who subs out your move to moving companies who then hire another company that drives the truck so there is no accountability if something goes wrong. To be fair I had a complicated move, an apartment and 2 storage units being moved across country but they assured me that they do that sort of thing all the time. The agent who I spoke with Neil Greco told me that he is one of the managers and not just a sales person which made me feel more confident. Neil gave me a quote for $10,800 told me that this amount was binding not to exceed. Well, my move did exceed that, it came out to $16,500. The mover , Top Notch movers out of Hackensack New Jersey told me that it was more because the broker Trinity underestimated the amount of stuff that we had, fair enough- I would be willing to pay more but it seemed excessive. To add insult to injury at least 2 of our boxes are still missing , 6 weeks after our move. The mover, top notch, told me that it’s impossible for something to be missing that my stuff never went to a warehouse that it went straight to the truck. 2 other people’s stuff shared the same semi truck- the company that operated the truck is Haul Ways moving, but the mover assured me that the other families didn’t get my stuff.

Email to Neil Greco at Trinity delineating all these issues went unanswered and telephone calls to him always go straight to voicemail.

My advice:Hire an actual moving company who operates their own trucks and has their own drivers and is solely responsible. Stay away from Trinity.

Don't let them ruin any other lives

I've been close to tears all day. I booked TRG in May 2021 for a move from Minneapolis to Boston July 23rd to August 1st. We paid our deposit, picked up the cashier's checks for pick-up and delivery as instructed and confirmed our final pack list by email. Then as the days grew closer to our pick-up, there was silence from TRG and when I called, no one picked up and no one returned my messages. Finally they told us today they cancelled us. No explanation except there just aren't enough trucks. Some of you may recall the Seinfeld skit where he says, "See you know how to Take a reservation, you just don't know how to Hold a reservation...and isn't that the Most Important Part!" We are now in a crisis, struggling to figure out how to safely get from here to there. It is true in life that sometimes you cross paths with evil people. This company should not be allowed to ruin any other lives.

Move from Portland, OR to Seattle, WA 183 miles

I moved from a 1 bedroom first floor apartment to a 1 bedroom apartment with an elevator. They charged me $4094.38. $1474.16 reservation, $1310.11 pick up and delivery. They told me to use money orders witch I bought. The movers that they recommended were terrible. They accepted the money orders when they picked up my furniture but would only accept cash at delivery. They also charged me $700 more. They also charged me $160 at delivery because it was more than 75 feet. I have moved more times I can count and I have never had such a terrible mess. I am considering reporting United Movers Transportation Services to IRS because of them insisting on cash. I was having trouble contacting the movers so I called Trinity. A women told me that since it was such a short trip that it should not take such a long time. She said she would locate the movers and call me back. She never did.

I did not need the hassle. I should have called a local mover.

The service from Trinity was terrible. They gave me three telephone numbers: one was disconnected, one I left a message that was never returned and the 888 331 7690 was the good number. You do not need this service.

Worst Moving Experience

I have relocated all over the country numerous times. This company is a real joke, from underestimating, to horrible customer service to extensive delays. Terrible experience

My pickup went wonderfully, but at drop off, there were host of issues.

1. The mover parked in a no parking zone and had to unload another person's stuff to move mine to be accessible and asked I be there to identify. Took 3 hours for a studio's worth of stuff.

2. Mover didn't have assistance, so couldn't get my stuff upstairs in the same day, so left it outside (but secure behind a gate) for a full day

3. Needed my assistance to finally get everything up the stairs. Taking up my time for 2 days...when pickup only took 2 hours.

BEWARE: WORST MOVING COMPANY SCAM!!

This company is a SCAM!!! Don’t go with them. They talked me out of going with a different moving company saying that they were a scam and that they had bad reviews when in fact, Trinity is the company with the bad reviews. Check their Yelp reviews also!

As the other reviews state, all these accusations are true (from my own experience as well):

1. Once the sales rep gets you to sign the contract, you can’t reach them anymore.

2. The quote they give you, written in the contract, is only and estimate (which they don’t tell you prior ). The final quote we agreed on (and I emphasized not having any additional charges as long as I only loaded all the items on the contracted inventory list) was just under $3000 and when the movers showed up they said it was an additional $5000 to take everything, $8000 total! Even the mover said that Trinity didn’t quote me properly and said that the inventory descriptions were all Inaccurate.

3. They go by how much cubic feet all your items will take up, NOT THE ACTUAL INVENTORY LIST. They fail to mention that.

4. The delivery takes longer than local moving companies. 2-3 days versus 8-10 days.

5. They do stuff everything into a truck, with other people’s things. You’re better off hiring a moving company that dedicates one truck to you, so it’s faster, safer, and less likely to get damaged or lost.

They charge the most at the initial deposit, of course, and then split up the balance into to payments, which they collect at the time of pick up and the time of delivery.

Worst moving company experience ever. If you try to communicate with them after the close of the sale, with anything you might have issues with or with any dissatisfaction, all they will do is continue referring to the fine print on the contract you signed and nothing that was actually discussed of course.

I have attached photos of what my inventory list was, as emailed in detail, versus what was actually on the inventory list on the contract. And based on that inventory list described on the contract, the movers flat out told me that they couldn’t take half the things on that list because Trinity low balled the inventory item sized to get me a lower price, just to jack up the price on me when they arrived.

They refused to refund me my $1050 deposit and they didn’t end up even loading anything on the truck. The truck was also a day and a few hours later than scheduled. GO THROUGH YELP AND FIND LOCAL STATE TO STATE COMPANIES! Don’t get scammed by any of these advertised companies online. And please check all reviews!

**Couple weeks after going back and forth on my refund**

Following up on my last review, Trinity's cancellation clearly states that "estimates may be cancelled within 72 hours of placing their reservation" and not only did I cancel within 72 hours, the services they were supposed to provide was never provided. The truck didn't even load anything into their truck. Trinity customer service sent me an email saying that they would refund me 50% of my deposit, but although in their cancellation policy, it doesn't say anything about having to remove honest reviews, look at tis email they sent me, basically threatening not to credit me my rightful (FULL) refund, unless I move my reviews. This company needs to be taken down for SCAMMING so many people. If I don't receive my refund, and if any other customers who left a negative review, based on similar experiences/any money lost, would like to file a lawsuit also, I will gladly get a class lawsuit started.

Long-distance move from West Palm Beach, FL to Pelham, NY

Relocation Move

Warning!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!

Do not use their service. They are brokers sweet and kind and once you send a deposit, they are hard to reach and do not return calls. They sent a moving team of two men from the company We Care For You. One stayed in the truck 75% of the time in the truck. I was missing jewelry once they left. They were rude and pressured me to pay another $1200 over the quote. When I complained to Trinity they would not assist me with my complaints. They offered a $75 credit if I agreed not to post a negative review. Please research and find a reputable company. Do not get swayed by the initial phone call. The entire moving experience was miserable and emotionally upsetting. When my possessions finally arrived, I had boxes of smashed Crystals and ceramics. They took my Persian rug. Please, please do not use these awful people.

Trinity Relocation Group Contract B5125136

We Care For You Contract BB6280940

I do not recommend Trinity Relocation Group or We Care For You in Florida. With my wife and I serving 22 and 26 years in the military respectively and having moved many times both overseas and within the United States this was the worst move we have ever experienced. Trinity Relocation Group acts as a broker for moving companies and contracted with We Care For You out of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida for the actual move. We were moving from Cape Coral, Fl to Oklahoma City, OK between two assisted living centers and contracted for a complete pack and unpack.

We Care For You FAILED to meet their contractual obligations since they disassembled our bed on the shipping end and did not reassemble it as requested on the receiving end. In the end we did not receive all of our household goods and at least two items were broken.

Packout: Our driver was scheduled between 9 AM and 2 PM. At 10 AM he called and said would it be alright if they came around 5-6 PM. I reminded them this was a move from an assisted living center that had restrictions on move times but got permission for the late move. The driver then called back stating they would be there by 1 PM because of the move restrictions. They arrived at 1:40. Once there he looked at the apartment and said he did not have room for the move on his truck. He called his boss and put him on speaker phone and proceeded to get into an argument with his boss while standing next to me. His boss said if he couldn’t handle the job himself to come back. The driver then got in his truck and drove off. Another driver and crew came to move our stuff the next day but they were late since their original truck was not working properly. This crew was extremely courteous, professional and accommodating during the pack and load. I noticed they did not bring any wrapping paper for the glassware and asked about that. The driver showed me a black trash bag full of used wrapping paper and told me his boss said to use that. He also asked me about what had happened the day before and when I explained he told me the other driver had been fired.

Waiting for delivery: Although I had explained to Trinity that I wanted my furniture delivered and unpacked not later than 18 December and that they could back up the pack date to accommodate that request my furniture and household goods were not delivered until 23 December. We Care For You kept telling me they were waiting on truck availability for the Midwest.

Delivery: The driver arrived as scheduled, but had no help and was going to move everything by himself. While talking to the driver I mentioned I wanted all of the trash taken away since this had been done during all of our other moves and to make sure he assembled the bed. We got into an argument about this and he told me I couldn’t tell him what to do and sat in his truck for quite some time. When I asked him when he was going to unload he said not until I treated him with respect and asked him nicely. I succumbed to his request. He then brought the contract into the apartment and asked me to sign the paperwork which stated I had received everything and that it was in good condition. I said I would be happy to once it was all in the apartment and I could inspect it. This led to him calling his supervisor and wrongly claiming I would not sign the paperwork. I asked to speak with the supervisor and that is when I was told they would not remove the trash and the driver was told to unload the truck. The driver then walked past me to the truck and cussed me in Spanish. When I told him I knew what he said he denied it and then called me the same thing in English. The driver began to unload and was taking the moving blankets off of the furniture in the parking lot so I asked him to leave the blankets on so that the furniture did not get damaged by the dolly. He proceeded to tell me how good he was and that he knew what he was doing and that he was going to unwrap all of it in the parking lot so I could inspect it out there and then sign the documents. I told him I would not inspect anything until it was inside the apartment. I then began to video what he was doing and when he saw me he quit unwrapping items in the parking lot. Things started to go better and when everything was in the apartment, but the bed was not unwrapped or put together he again tried to get me to sign the paperwork. I told him once everything was unwrapped and the bed assembled, I would inspect and sign. He then went off on me again and said that the only reason I wouldn’t sign the paperwork was because of the color of his skin and that I was a racist. He then went out and closed up his truck and came back without any tools. I told him I would be happy to sign once he put the bed together. He then took the paperwork and left claiming I refused to sign. My wife and I were left to assemble the bed and finish unpacking.
