DO NOT HIRE TRINITY!

Trinity provides poor estimates in terms of the cubic feet you will need in order for you to hire them.

Once the real estimates comes in the ACTUAL DAY OF THE MOVE, your cost will most likely double or triple.

Additionally, they would say that they "told you it was an estimate" and that "they told you it could definitely move"

Their customer service is the worse. Instead of being apologetic and tryin to help, they act nonchalant and tell you that they "went over the details and you signed your agreement".

We were stress fee throughout

These guys did not mind about the storm or weather. I don't really know how to thank the Trinity mover’s team for their extremely hard work, reliability and friendly manner. Upon the storm, yet they secured every of my stuff and nothing was affected or misplaced. The price was very good and the job was also done on time with careful manner. For sure, I would always let them move me.

Scammers and Dishonest! Stay away from this moving company

First, movers showed up with NO MASK which clearly violated Public Storage's policy, and I am sure his own company's as well as TRINITY.

His response was he would just keep his distance and place his T-shirt over his mouth. After he saw that would not be acceptable, he sent his co-worker to go buy some masks.

After the conversation of them not having a mask, he began to look at the items in the unit and quickly pointed out he would be charging additional money. I asked him why when I specifically told TRINITY, I had a full 10x10 unit and his response was that they are a 3rd party and are the actual movers.

He added that TRINITY just sells, doesn't know how to measure properly and always gets it wrong.

In the end, he added an additional $1200, for the 10x10 unit which I find absolutely wrong and just a "racket" since we have no choice as customers but to pay whatever they say.

I feel very mislead by Trinity as the movers made it clear to me that Trinity always does this and gets it wrong.

At the end when he charged the additional $1200 to the bill (and another $1200, once delivery happens) I told the driver I would like his boss' card, his response was "are you sure you want to this?" I said, "excuse me? he said again, "I'm asking are you sure you want to call the boss?"

I pointed out to the mover that his statement had a threatening innuendo. He said again, "I'm just asking if you are sure you want to call the boss?"

How should I take a statement like that??? And these people are driving to my home to deliver my items??

In the end, we have several issues to deal with, 1) not following COVID-19 standard protocols 2) being misled and held hostage by pricing and hearing from the 3rd party movers that TRINITY does this all the time and gets the measurements wrong 3) threatening statements being made to a (female) customer.

TRINITY did absolutely nothing to assist me NOT even take my phone calls. Tracy and Sadie would not listen to me personally as they were the ones in charge of reviewing my case but would not talk to me. Stay away from this company. Choose another company for your sanity.

Long-distance move from Reeseville, WI to Butler, PA

Would recommend them to anyone planning a move

We had a big move with a lot of boxes, which we were stressing about. We had a three man team who turned up on time and were so polite, friendly, helpful and worked incredibly hard during a long day to get everything relocated safely, even stopping off on the way to drop off some furniture. Nothing was too much trouble for them, worth every cent for the peace of mind, absolutely brilliant.

TRINITY RELOCATION GROUP FARMED OUT OUR JOB TO A TERRIBLE COMPANY

Trinity was lovely to work with during the estimate process. They then farmed out my move to a horrible company (Patriot Relocation Corp in NJ, which has a D+ Better Business Bureau rating). Trinity also promised to complete various forms so that my employer could pay the moving company directly and never did. So I had to lay out $12k and wait to be reimbursed. Patriot took 46 days to move my stuff and used people they hired off Craigslist (during a pandemic) to move our stuff into our new house. Trinity was no help after we gave them their deposit. Things were broken, gouges out of our floor and our drywall and we were sent to a third company to file a claim and 6 months later we are still waiting. I don’t expect anything at this point. Worst experience with a moving company ever.

Their price was good

A friend did some research on different moving companies and saw n movers. After talking to them a little bit and seeing what they had to offer, I went with them. Everybody there was great. They were helpful, timely with getting back to me and accurate with answering my questions. They were very professional and they did a lot of good follow-up with me and helped me move.

If Honesty, Integrity, Fair Pricing, and Customer Care are important t

This company is just a broker, they will charge you over $1000 just to find a mover for you. Not only that, they will hire the worst, dishonest, and careless moving company without a care for you. Once you sign the contract, however, you are locked in and must accept the movers they chose. When those movers destroy your things, charge unnecessary fees, lie, and refuse to pay damages, Trinity will ignore your calls for months until finally they say there is nothing they can do. They offered me $100 to not post a negative review. Don’t let the sales people fool you, Trinity will lie to get your money and once they have it, you won’t hear from them again.

Take out the middle-man and find your own movers that you can trust!

Delivery

DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE USING TRINITY RELOCATION SERVICES!

I chose Trinity after seeing good reviews; however, my experience was a nightmare. I did not realize that they are a licensed interstate broker. They coordinate and arrange the transportation of goods with an authorized motor carrier. Once you have signed the contract with the carrier, Trinity has no control. I am infuriated that they would contract with a company such as NW Relocation, then be off the hook for anything further.

NW Relocation out of Oregon was impossible to work with. Bottom line: my father’s items were picked up 9/21/2020 and delivered 12/11/2020. The bed was missing, found, and delivered 12/21/2020. That is 3 months that I and my 74-year-old father, who is handicapped and wheelchair bound, lived in an empty apartment! Of course, there were contractual clauses with NW Relocation and my issues with them have been resolved, although not to my satisfaction.

I submitted a request to Trinity for a refund of the $1216 deposit paid to them. I presented a detailed timeline of events to no avail. I was offered a $75 credit for my troubles, but that came with stipulations regarding what I say in reviews. No thanks.

I am happy doing business with them!

This company does all of the pickup and delivery for my custom made furniture design business. They are always professional and timely with deliveries. The products I import are high end and they take great care to make sure nothing is damaged during receiving and delivery. They also inspect each item upon receiving and I am made aware of any damage that happened before they take possession.

Nothing moved- Lost $1100

Heres the short version. Main item to move was a rolling tool chest, which was on invoice Trinity Relocation sent mover that did not have correct lift on truck for the chest. Told us he would have to reschedule, come with different truck and we would charged additional fee. We did not accept that solution. Mover left. We were told we cancelled move and our deposited $1100 never returned.

Long Distance Move from OH to FL

Do yourself a favor - don't answer the phone if Trinity Relocation is calling you. Here are the facts -

Received an estimate - deposit made after that, they don't care. 2 hours before the movers were supposed to arrive - I received a call, "tire issues" they will be there tomorrow morning instead. Had to call the buyer of my house and rearrange possession. I was told I would be compensated, talk to the driver and he will take care of it. Spoke to the driver the next day and he said you were never on my schedule. "I don't know what you are talking about."

Everything loaded on the truck seemed very nice and professional - then stuff arrived at my new house. Refrigerator damaged, lost some plates and other small items. Went to fill out a claim - they gave me the wrong claim company, then told me to leave a message with a new number and the gentleman will call me. The lack of customer service is a joke!

Bottom line - Don't use them - terrible experience - expensive and not worth it. They don't care, just want the money. Had to pay deposits on time, but when it comes to customer service and taking responsibility, Nothing! Use PODS - less expensive and at least you are responsible for your stuff.

Long-distance move from Chico, CA to Leonardtown, MD

Terrible Customer Service.

I’m writing this review here as well as any other moving review site because this company deserves nobody’s business. Their MO is to lock you into a reasonable rate and at the same time omit large items from the original quote hoping that you will not notice. Then when half your deposit is forfeit the movers come and increase the cost. Don’t work with this company they are shady and dishonest. On or around Jan. 20 2021. I received an estimate for a move from California to Maryland and subsequently after receiving video estimates from other companies chose to proceed with Trinity for around $7300. From what I remember I sent pictures to an Owen and possibly forwarded a completed estimate from another company. Assuming that the estimator did their job correctly I put a deposit down and proceeded with other necessary moving necessities. Having a lot of other things on my plate, I was unable to fully go over the original estimate for 100% accuracy. After seeing a number of red flags with this company we elected to cancel but were instead put in touch with an operations manager Jack Thompson on Feb 5th having already passed our cancelation window for a full refund and being assured that Trinity would get this job done, no problem we elected to proceed with the move. 3-4 days before our move on on 9 Feb we received an email letting us know that our move is soon and to add any additional items that we needed in order to calculate space. I was currently on a cross country drive to my new employment location and could not complete a full inventory of our house and again partly assumed that the original estimate was accurate aside from an extra tv that we needed to add. On 12 Feb. I had reached my destination and decided to do an inventory on our household goods vs. what was on the estimate. Multiple things were wrong on the estimate that I didn't notice before. Two of our three beds and bed frames were entered in with the wrong size and multiple large items were not even included in the estimate to begin with. I made the additions to a new estimate and sent it to Bruce Richards senior estimator. After going over the items he said our new estimate would be $10000 instead of the original $7300. He could not do a video estimate because he said he doesn't know how big things are on the video. 2 other companies I worked with required a video walkthrough before providing an estimate. When my wife called Bruce to explain the number of boxes she packed and items that we added, Bruce was rude, interrupting and talked over my wife multiple times. After getting on the phone with Bruce his excuse was that he takes a lot of calls and doesn't work in customer service. This is unacceptable behavior. When the customer service rep called me, she was also rude, she talked over me as well, and laughed audibly when she said I didn't understand how the process works. She also shortly after calling me simply asked if we wanted to cancel. There was no attempt to keep our business except to drop $500 off of the already $2700 increase. We elected to cancel anyway due to the lack of professionalism, courtesy, customer service, and outright shady business practices of not providing accurate estimates hoping that the customer wouldn't notice. When Jack the operations manager convinced us that we should stay with trinity, he assured me that I could call him day or night and that they would make our move as smooth as possible. After trying to call him twice, I called customer service to see if they could put me in touch with Jack. The customer service rep said "No, the operation manager is the owner and doesn't talk to customers." After explaining that I had already talked to Jack once before she said that was a one time courtesy. Not only is this company discourteous, disrespectful, and unsympathetic, they are liars as well. Overall I want this complaint to be on the record for others so when they see it they can steer clear of this shady, dishonest, and terrible company. Jack even had the audacity to say that he tries to run a company with Christian values. Not one bit of our treatment had a hint of Christian values. We lost a great deal of money, time and peace of mind from the interactions with this company.

It was awesome

It took me the personal moving experience to discover the perfection that comes with this mover. On the agreed date of relocation, The movers came very early in the morning. Apparently, they did not want any form of disappointment. As they started, I watched them carry out the packing and loading processes. I must admit that I was amazed. I loved the proceedings right from the beginning until the end.

I am so impressed with them

The movers were very flexible in terms of dates and times so we got ours at the right time. We also just missed peak season rates that would have had us paying about 50% more. We knew our things would have been treated appropriately which was evident by the way they handled them self. The moving crew was hard-working men. We would do it again if we had to.

Moved from MA to FL

I was required to pay $1,165 up front - by the end I paid about $4,000 and had several broken items that I was unable to get reimbursed for. They subcontracted with a company from NJ and I had to pay over $1K on the spot plus tip each worker $50. My furniture was due to arrive July 2 but did not arrive until July 20 and was delivered by a third company whichI had to pay over $1K. Several lamp shades, china, and a glass cabinet shelf were broken. I applied for reimbursement with photos and details. They just gave me the runaround until I gave up.

Trinity Relocation Group

Absolutely horrible experience. Quoted a price which was far below what the ultimate cost was. The worst thing was that the movers they contract with did not estimate correctly how much time it would take them. I told both Trinity and the movers that our HOA has very strict rules on the times allowed. They disregarded this, had to stay an extra day and charged 300.00 before they would unload. Trinity basically told me tough luck, they would not guarantee anything. It was an exorbitant amount of money but it was the point. Don't do it!!!!! I must admit I was forewarned.

TERRIBLE....DO NOT USE

We hired them to move us at the end of January, 2021. We were moving from PA to FL. We carefully packed all out furnitures, etc and we provided them with the number of boxes we would be using. We didn't understand that as a broker they would be using another company for the actual move. For us that was All Points Movers. We were quoted a price of $2500 and on the day of the move, All Points said we need to pay an additional $1,000 in the form of cash or money order before they would begin to load the truck. We paid the money because our house was going to settlement and we had to be out. When we arrived in Fl, many items were damaged, ruined or missing. We were referred to All Points to put in a claim for the items. We wanted our stuff in tact....money is not going to bring back was they ruined. All of the folks I dealt with at Trinity were rude and not at all helpful. This is a scam. Do not use them...be warned. We will be contacting the appropriate government agencies who oversee long distance moving. Hopefully, they will be out of business sooner rather than later.

No accountability, poor service

I deeply regret choosing Trinity Relocation, and I just want to help others know what to expect.

As a customer, you pay Trinity for moving services, and they contract out other moving companies who actually do the work. They take no responsibility for anything that happens during your move because they're just brokers, which is ridiculous because they are the ones hiring these moving companies and taking your money.

They will promise you things that they know are not likely to happen. I was told my items would be delivered within 7 days of my first available delivery date (FADD), and realistically it would probably only take 5 days because of the distance. When the actual movers arrived, they told me that's just what sales people say to get you to sign, and that actually, they have up to 14 days from the FADD. Neither promise was true because it ended up taking 18 days for delivery.

They also said it would cost $2100 for my move when it actually cost $3200, so that was also a fun surprise. Again, they're sales people and they're not incentivized to give you a realistic idea of what to expect. You're tired and stressed out, and you don't know exactly how many cubic ft of stuff you have. Rather than helping you accurately assess the cost of the move, they'll happily let you believe it will be less expensive, so you'll sign.

They also want a 2-day window for pick-up and cannot confirm which day it will be until the day before the movers arrive, so that's going to make it tough if you need to arrange flights or request a no-parking permit for street parking outside your home. It also was uncertain when they'd actually be able to deliver until the afternoon before.

Would never recommend

These guys are the classic bait and switch con job. The amazing salesman is a suave smooth talker and has the hook about their amazing company and why not to pay attention to the angry folks leaving negative reviews ... Dylan(salesman) is absolutely AMAZING...I bought in... hook, line and sinker. I was then passed off to Bruce... wow! Guessing I’m NOT one in a million to the disrespect, verbal abuse and con job that he presents. Bruce puts me ( obviously stressed and emotional with the move anyway) through so much turmoil, doubling my price, saying basically it is what it is, and threatening to hang up and block me if I question his pricing. I AGREE because obviously I have already signed a contract with Trinity. Not a way out at that point ...That was literally the last I EVER heard from ANYONE in the company. Not a call to ask if the movers contacted me, how the move was... even who the movers would be... NEVER heard from ANYONE again. I paid double what I should have to be spoken down to, verbally manhandled and royally ripped off. PLEASE PLEASE call a local mover, even if you pay more than you think you should... you won’t pay double for NOTHING.. no help, no security and all the ‘promises-and song ‘n dance never amounting to anything. Know what you're getting into

Just know that these guys will say anything to get the sale (most of our stuff arrives in five days!) and then pawn off your shipment to the lowest bidder. The company they contracted my shipment to (Ortiz Services LLC) is probably the most poorly run organization I've ever had the misfortune of coming into contact with. I told Trinity I wanted the full coverage and not the substandard (.60 cents/pound aka $10K tv that weighs 10 lbs if broken is $6 back) coverage. That request wasn't reflected or addressed when the movers showed up. When the movers arrived, Trinity wiped their hands clean, "sir, you need 72 hours to inform them/us about desire for insurance." which is totally untrue (https://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/protect-your-move/valuation-insurance see the part that says "released value insurance" refusal to sign AUTOMATICALLY reverts to full value... but you have to accept the price add on). Both Ortiz/Trinity kept telling me the "72 hour lie" until after an hour on the phone and a call to the DOT to file a complaint... they connected me with a customer service rep who quoted me an additional $6K, yes - $6K, on an estimated $3K move. Absurd, but I had proven my point. I wanted them to admit that they HAD to provide the option and not lean on some arbitrary 72 hour window to force you to sign the released value. Sounds kind of fraudulent to me... I haven't received my goods and don't expect to for another month. They are nice enough on the phone (actually very nice), but they hire garbage companies (mine literally answers the phone with "moving" and that's it... could that sound any sketchier? It sounds like they sell stolen organs on the black market) and wash their hands clean of you at that point. Take my advice, go direct and pay more to have a REAL company come give you an estimate and have a REAL company move your stuff. Better yet, rent a uhaul and tour our beautiful United States on the way to your next destination. I wish I had. These guys ain't it, chief. And I'll be on every website letting the good people know the truth until my stuff eventually arrives (with stolen kidneys!). Also, check out the positive reviews and responses. Seem similar in prose/syntax? Questionable.... Cheers and God speed.

Read this before you hire them!

I had hired them for our move, a few weeks ahead of time. I asked them to pack up on Thursday and load the truck on Friday. They gave us a 3 day window (Tue-Thu) in which they could come and pack things up, which was already going to be hard because I was going to have to live in a house full of boxes with my 3 children and pets for 3 days if they came on Tuesday, and then they would load the truck and leave on Friday. I called the first guy who talked to me (sales guy, very nice, said all the things I wanted to hear) multiple times in the past weeks and told him it would be horrible if they came on Tue or Wed for the reasons above and told him multiple times the truck could no leave until Friday anyway, and he told us to rest easy because usually they would only come in the days we requested. We are signing the house on Friday, so will not even get the keys until Friday evening. On Monday morning I receive a call from a truck driver (third party) saying: I know the job is tomorrow but could I come today? And that's when I found out he would get there Friday morning. I said, absolutely not and call the company to tell them I needed the truck to leave on Friday and they just kept telling me: your window was from Tue-Thu, even though I talked to the guy over the phone multiple times and he reassured me the truck would leave on Friday. So then I was left with the options of having my stuff taken on Tuesday and left in a storage over the weekend and paying a fee (and me living in an empty house with no mattress or anything for 4 days with my children). Having them pick up on the dates I actually asked and delivering in 10 business days (I payed an extra fee for 2 day delivery and having a truck for only our stuff), and then paying an extra fee for this service as well, which meant I would have to live in a different empty house for 10 days. I pleaded and begged they found another truck driver for 1 or 2 days later but they couldn't care less. I found out they try to find a driver whois on his way back from a job to come to our house, which is fine, but that is the reason they would not find another driver for 1 or 2 days later, it was just an inconvenience to them. Btw, while talking to the driver (the only one who seemed to care) I found out they hire third party drivers, who on their side (these are his own words) find a couple of guys on craigs list to help him, so they have no idea who is actually getting into people's houses. So I had to find another company 4 days before my move, and lost the deposit, so they just made a lot of money for just being incompetent and not doing any actual work. I absolutely don't recommend this company.

Long-distance move from Upper Marlboro, MD to Atlanta, GA

I should have chosen differently!

I should have done more research to find a reputable mover! I hired Trinity Relocation Group because I believed they worked with a group of reputable partners who would be professional and efficient. I did not expect to have to give up quality and respect. To begin, I was never informed that the mover that was assigned to pick up my belongings would be hiring help off of Craigslist to come in and help them move me out of my residence. It was a total shock.

On the loading end, the move out of my home in Maryland was extremely lengthy, inefficient and slow. Lead mover Garrett was rude and not customer friendly. When I asked the length of time that it would take to complete the move he became agitated. He did not want to answer basic questions; The movers from patriot smoked in the garage, (setting their cigarettes on my furniture) and the smoke came back into the home to the kitchen level.

A hole was punched in the wall and some of the drywall from a corner of the stairwell was taken off. The movers did not line the stairs or walls with any sort of protective covering and the stairs were damaged as well as other pieces of furniture. Significant additional charges beyond my expectations were added to the bill, nearly doubling my original estimate.

On the delivery end in Atlanta, the driver did not have any movers available on site to help him when he arrived. He was asking other moving crews that were on site with other customers if they could help him unload the truck. Extremely unprofessional. When I asked where his helpers were, he told me “don’t worry about that“. Other people on site chimed in and told him that it is some thing for me to worry about as I am his customer.

I asked again how long it would be before his help arrived, and he said 30 minutes. He became very frustrated that I would not rearrange my entire schedule to meet him the next day.

Eventually, two men came and began to assist him with unloading the truck. But before that, I asked him to simply open the doors to the truck so that I could see that my belongings were on there before I provided him with the final cash payment of over $2400. He refused to show me my belongings. He asked me very rudely if I thought he would drive all that way and not have my belongings. I told him it has nothing to do with him or trust, I just preferred to see my belongings prior to turning over almost $2500 in cash as a final payment. It was a simple request. Once again, other movers unrelated to my situation on site stated that it’s not uncommon at all for a mover to show a customer that their belongings are on the track before providing final cash payment.

After having to wait an hour before he had any help arrive, to add insult to injury and he refused to waive any additional fees such as the distance from the truck to the moving storage unit. I was charged an additional $250 above and beyond the nearly $2500 in cash I’d just paid for him to get on an elevator to take my items to a storage unit. A $4,400 moved turned into over $7K! I insisted again that he simply open the doors to the truck so that I could visibly see my belongings before providing my final cash payment and he reluctantly obliged.

I never felt treated as a valued customer, I was spoken to in very disrespectful tones by Patriot movers and basically ignored by employees of Patriot Movers that did not want to answer legitimate questions that I had as a customer.

I was never told that Movers that were not part of a moving company would be present during this process. I was under the impression that any mover I hired would have their own bonded and licensed employees handling my belongings.

I am very disappointed that Trinity connected me with the transportation provider that had extremely poor service and poor communication. I would hope that Trinity would not continue to work with this broker. I was also never told that my belongings would be going to a storage facility in New Jersey pending the delivery date. I had no insight into what would be happening with regard to the process at all.
