Local move from Raiford, FL to Bradenton, FL

None of the furniture got banged up

The movers came a tad late because their previous job ended up taking longer than anticipated. But once the truck and crew arrived, the movers immediately got to it to make up for the late start. Once we showed them what needed to be moved, they were literally running up and down our stairs to make up for lost time. And they let you help with the small stuff if you want things to go faster. We got done way before the estimated time. Hopefully we won't be moving for a while. But if we do, we'll most definitely go with Trinity Relocation Group.

Long-distance move from Montebello, CA to Plano, TX

Discriminatory Driver and No Digital bill

Due to Job transfer, we moved from Cali. to TX. They give business to Cross Country Relocation. You cannot request anything to them. I requested below things to them, but both Moti(Driver) and James are super rude. I was afraid of him (driver). Below things were requested from my husband but he took money before unloading stuff and he told me I know my job , I don't want to listen to you.

He racially discriminated my country also(india- I am super proud of). He told us we(indians) discriminate against poor people in india without any reason.

1. During this pandemic, I requested Moti(Driver) to wear shoe bag or remove shoes in carpet to enter my house. He denied.

2. My husband ask just to side the big carton out for taking some impt .stuff. In very loud voice , he told I know my job. Don't talk with me and racially discriminated against our country.

3. My husband company needs a written email from Trinity that I have paid 3000$ (max in cash). They are asking for wait for another 2 weeks for small email or digital bill. In this digital world (21st century) after paying 3000$ , a customer cannot even ask for digital bill or deserve it immediately.

I strongly recommend not to use Trinity because of extremely rude behavior and racial discrimination.

Good point

Service was good. Only 1 side table and 1 light broken. I am fine with it.

Long-distance move from Cairo, NE to Perryville, MD

They show up on time and got the job in just under the estimated time

Curtis and his crew were great throughout the process of moving our 1 BR apartment in Maryland. The kitchen and furniture items were carefully and quickly packed and they were done with moving out in about 6 hours. They were also familiar with the apartment complex we were moving into which made it particularly easy to move in. Highly recommend Trinity Relocation Group.

Long-distance move from Bakersfield, CA to Cincinnati, OH

HORRIBLE experience all around

We moved from CA to OH. We used Trinity Relocation Group, and our actual carrier company was Cross Country Relocation (CC).

Main complaints: (see below for more detailed description)

1. The price went from an initial quote of $4,500 to $11,100 even though we did our best to follow the process exactly as I was advised from the beginning and I was accurate with my amount of belongings from the start.

2. We were treated very disrespectfully by the movers from CC and from a rep at Trinity Relocation Services.

3. The communication and expectations set by Trinity did NOT happen. We had to initiate every point of contact, and our stuff was delivered 18 days after our first available delivery date. We had to pay for a hotel for four nights and slept on the floor of our apartment for an additional week with an infant and a dog.

_

Detailed description:

When I called for the quote from Trinity initially we were quoted $4,500. I gave as detailed a description of our furniture and belongings as I could, but our boxes were not yet packed. The sales rep told me what number of boxes was “average” and based the price on that. I called back the week before the move to update our complete inventory as our boxes were now packed, and the price doubled to $9,300. I understood that this would happen because our box count doubled (I feel that the rep underestimated the count so that the quote would be lower initially).

When the movers from CC came to pick up our stuff they were NOT wearing masks. We asked them to wear masks and provided them with our disposable ones. It took them 6 hours to label and load our stuff. We were moving a 3-bedroom home.

The head mover then told us our price was increasing from $9,300 to $11,100 - pay it or leave stuff. It didn’t matter that a few days earlier I had provided a completely accurate count of every single item. He also told us that from our first available delivery date in Ohio the company has 21 business days to deliver our stuff. That is literally over 4 weeks that we could be in Ohio without our stuff. Additionally, he talked down to me and seemed to treat me differently than he treated my husband which made me angry.

Our stuff was picked up in the middle of October, and we would arrive in Ohio in the middle of November. So during those four weeks I called to try and figure out at what point our stuff would arrive in Ohio as it could be any point from mid-Nov to mid-December. One rep from Trinity explained that we would definitely not get it prior to five days AFTER our first available date, so we asked to move our first available date up by a week and a half. This would give CC 9 days to get our stuff to Ohio for when we arrived. However we found out our stuff was not even loaded onto a truck until after we arrived in Ohio. It then took another week and a half for our stuff to actually arrive.

During this time we called Trinity every few days to get updates because we were literally sleeping on the floor in a completely empty apartment with an infant and a dog. We had to buy blankets and towels to just get by. We were told by one customer service rep at Trinity to stop calling because we were calling too often and she refused to call CC for any additional information. I complained and was transferred to a different rep who actually did call CC and spoke with a dispatch manager for us who gave us concrete updates. We were finally given a delivery window of 5 days and said the driver would call.

When we finally did get a call from the truck driver on Sunday afternoon he told us that we had to pay him in cash. From the beginning Trinity told us that we could pay in cash or Postal Money Order (which takes the money out of your account when ordering it), so we had purchased postal money orders to avoid carrying thousands of dollars in cash around. However on Sunday afternoon the driver said he could not pay for helpers the next day if we did not pay him in cash on Monday. He said he could not get cash himself. So we had to withdraw an additional $1,000 in cash before Monday morning.

When the driver showed up on Monday morning with our stuff, only one person came to help him unload the truck and three people just didn’t show up. Now I have to cash the money orders at the post office, however they do not carry that much cash. So a few weeks later I am still trying to get my $1,000 back.

Antique side tables & TV cabinet were broken during the move. I’ve filed a claim but have no confidence they will help with fixing or replacing the damaged furniture. Our boxes and plastic crates were smashed and torn as well.

NOTE: The only positive experience throughout this whole terrible process was the truck driver who delivered our stuff. He treated us with respect and was kind — he apologized for the terrible experiences we had had even though he doesn’t work for Trinity or CC. He worked really hard unloading our stuff with only one helper, and we were grateful for him.

WARNING.....Stay away!

Complete Scam.......Stay away! God forbid your move has some last minute issues, you will lose a lot of money. These people could care less about their customers. Once they get your money, you'll never get it back. They will hold the contract over your head if you have to cancel for reasons beyond your control. They will keep ALL of your money, even if thy haven't lifted a finger and provided a service. No compassion or understanding, just money hungry. Horrible people all the way around.

Will use them any day

I have been extremely negligent in writing to say how very satisfied my sister and I were in working with Trinity Relocation Group. The supervisor from Trinity Relocation Group was very polite, efficient, reliable and just has all of the qualities a customer would want in a company working for a moving and storage company. It was a pleasure working with them.

Immediately contact them

The gentlemen who came to my house to review the transfer was very professional. I made it easy to choose from. On the day of my transfer, the team was professional and knowledgeable throughout the whole process about my needs. They did so much quicker than I planned, placed it all in order and zero mess or any injury. If you are thinking of moving,I highly recommend them.

If Honesty, Integrity, Fair Pricing, and Customer Care are important t

This company is just a broker, they will charge you over $1000 just to find a mover for you. Not only that, they will hire the worst, dishonest, and careless moving company without a care for you. Once you sign the contract, however, you are locked in and must accept the movers they chose. When those movers destroy your things, charge unnecessary fees, lie, and refuse to pay damages, Trinity will ignore your calls for months until finally they say there is nothing they can do. They offered me $100 to not post a negative review. Don’t let the sales people fool you, Trinity will lie to get your money and once they have it, you won’t hear from them again.

Take out the middle-man and find your own movers that you can trust!

Recommended!

I was amazed by how strong our crew was. Thank god we used movers; we wouldn't really hurt ourselves trying to carry anything in even a way we thought would be smart. They were friendly while doing a fast job and taking care of my furniture. We finished early unloading at my new place and they helped me move things around as I made decorating decision!

No accountability, poor service

I deeply regret choosing Trinity Relocation, and I just want to help others know what to expect.

As a customer, you pay Trinity for moving services, and they contract out other moving companies who actually do the work. They take no responsibility for anything that happens during your move because they're just brokers, which is ridiculous because they are the ones hiring these moving companies and taking your money.

They will promise you things that they know are not likely to happen. I was told my items would be delivered within 7 days of my first available delivery date (FADD), and realistically it would probably only take 5 days because of the distance. When the actual movers arrived, they told me that's just what sales people say to get you to sign, and that actually, they have up to 14 days from the FADD. Neither promise was true because it ended up taking 18 days for delivery.

They also said it would cost $2100 for my move when it actually cost $3200, so that was also a fun surprise. Again, they're sales people and they're not incentivized to give you a realistic idea of what to expect. You're tired and stressed out, and you don't know exactly how many cubic ft of stuff you have. Rather than helping you accurately assess the cost of the move, they'll happily let you believe it will be less expensive, so you'll sign.

They also want a 2-day window for pick-up and cannot confirm which day it will be until the day before the movers arrive, so that's going to make it tough if you need to arrange flights or request a no-parking permit for street parking outside your home. It also was uncertain when they'd actually be able to deliver until the afternoon before.
