Going with Trinity was clearly a mistake on many levels for my move from Florida to Texas. Their estimates changed several times, always increasing. The movers were not professional, packed in a very inappropriate manner and clearly not trained. Ultimately they lost many of my belongings and significantly damaged others. Their claims process was shoddy, incomplete and ultimately unsatisfying. Overall, how Trinity and We Care For You handled my move was terrible and completely unprofessional. I am left with significant damages and lost items that they will not rectify. I would never recommend Trinity and We Care to anybody who expects a level of professionalism and customer service needed in this industry.

I recently moved and used Trinity relocation group. They contract out to another mover. I interviewed 3 movers and chose poorly when I elected Trinity. They showed up to my house at 5 pm, they were supposed to arrive at 9 am. They immediately began yelling at me that I had more stuff then I indicated to Trinity. I went through the list and everything was there. All of the sudden the price is $400 more. Now he is yelling at me that he can't take it all. Meanwhile his truck is half full. He assures me he will be back the next day at 11 am so I can make my closing at 2 pm. He arrives at 1:30 pm and I miss closing. I stored belongings and the date continues to change and I can not get them back.

I was hopeful for a positive experience using Trinity Relocation, but unfortunately it didn’t turn out that way. I chose them based on their positive reviews by Consumer’s Advocate, but in the end that didn’t matter. I would recommend avoiding them.

It’s very important to realize that Trinity is only the broker. They provide an initial estimate over the phone, but it’s ultimately the moving company they choose that provides the on-site review and binding estimate. In my case, the difference between the initial estimate and binding estimate resulted in an increase of over $5000.

As far as the movers themselves, they also left a lot to be desired- a company called Affordable Moving & Storage. They proved to be anything but affordable, as I allude to above. WHATEVER YOU DO, WHETHER CHOOSING A BROKER OR NOT, AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. I am now convinced they are a shady, fly-by-night company, and I put the onus on Trinity for making such a poor selection of a moving company to work with me.

First, I had to wait nearly 6 weeks for my goods to arrive. This was a big inconvenience. The fact that they would only accept a postal money order or cash at destination for my remaining balance was another. They packed my goods fine at origin, but they didn’t mark all of the boxes with what room each one was packed from, so I had to sort through them at destination as they were being unloaded and mark what was in them myself. Another big inconvenience. Finally, they left without reassembling all the furniture they had disassembled originally, so I am now left to do that myself. All in all, it was simply a miserable experience working with them.

Like others here I had the same bad experience with false quotes. I moved from NYC to the Jaccksonville area. I was quoted with what I suspected was a to good to be true quote. I will say this as a positive. The initial custumer service team were pleasant and professional. However that all changed on moving day when I was informed that the quote I had been given was to low and I would need to pay 750 dollars more. I would also be dealing with them from here on out.I went from 1900 to 2700, which is what I was prepared to pay anyway but it is also the way it was presented. The worst was when they delivered my my stuff, which was on time BUT the truck could not fit into the parking complex so they could unload. I had to rent a uhaul and pay an additinal 100 bucks so they could shuttle my stuff from truck to my apartment. The final straw was the total disregard they had for my belongings, Several of my boxes had been tossed and thrown haphazardly around. I actually had a complete box of canned goods that had all been dented and deformed. They completely destroyed an item that had strong sentimental value.

Would absolutely not recommend working with Trinity.

They picked our things up on Aug. 7th and I was told they would not pick them up more than 5 days before the day they were allowed to be dropped off because they didn't want to have to charge us to store them. We were able to have them dropped off immediately, and I was told by the sales person Henry Stiller that it would be a maximum of "10-14 business days" for delivery, but that for liabilities they had to say up to 21 business days. It took NUMEROUS phone calls and 26 business days to finally receive our things. In real time that is almost 6 full weeks, from August 7th to September 16th.

Aside from the absolute frustration that it took us so much longer to receive our things than we were told, there was zero communication from Trinity that they were even running late and we finally just started communicating with the company that they had brokered our move to directly. Every time we wanted an update we had to place numerous calls to Trinity customer service, and we were told we would be followed up with and never were.

The company our move was brokered to literally has a ONE STAR rating.

On top of not being able to get any updates from Trinity, and having to harass Cobra Van lines for updates, were were also charged almost $1000 more than our quote. Starting with when we realized we had double counted a chair and then replaced that chair with a small box which we were made to pay $300 extra for even though it took up an even smaller amount of space, to being charged $300 extra for a "small truck fee" that they company said was mandatory for ever coming into the city even though it was never mentioned during our initial quote, to the movers refusing to park directly in front of our building and getting two $115 parking tickets ($230 total) for parking in front of a fire hydrant that they left us to pay.

One of the movers also did not put a mask on the entire move even after I asked him to, he lied and said it was in the truck and then never put it on and I honestly didn't want to argue with him before he handled our fragile items.

Save yourself the utter frustration and do not move with this company if you can avoid it.
