Long-distance move from Seabrook, SC to West Haven, CT

We should have used United Vanlines

We should have used United van lines. Their quote was high but Trinitys lower quote ended up high once loaded on the truck. They underestimated our move and customer care did not return calls through out job. The company R&M Transportation was short on crew and packing materials.

Their quotes are lies, their customer service is trash.

ONLY USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU HAVE TIME TO WASTE AND MONEY TO SPEND.

I would write a review everyday if I had to because as someone who used to work in a customer service driven industry these people are severely lacking it. From Trinity themselves to the third party they hire they offer nothing but false hope and disappointment.

They start off great and have a decent price. I even recommended them to my friend who was moving at the same time. Little do you know the decent price is because they give you a piss poor estimation on how much it will cost to move your stuff.

After I signed the contract and my pick up date was quickly approaching, I called multiple times to figure out when they would even be picking up my stuff. The last time I called they would be there in 30 minutes. They told me someone would call me the day before, no one did. They said even if no one can reach you they would send an email or leave a voicemail, no one did.

Ok great. Now I have a bad taste in my mouth but I understand these things happen. When they picked up my items, I asked now how do I arrange a deliver date for my items. I was told “you call us whenever you’re ready it won’t be an issue at all.”

Spoiler alert: it was an issue. I have been having to actively call for the past week and a half to figure out this delivery date. And today when it’s finally supposed to be delivered the driver tells me “well we have to get a smaller truck which might cost you more” and now they won’t deliver today anymore but in the morning and he said that’s only if I figure out who’s going to pay me for getting the smaller truck. As a matter of fact he told me that I should call Trinity to figure it out myself. To which I obviously refused. Why should I have to make another call for y’all to figure out YOUR job.

Every phone call that I have had with someone from Trinity or Top Notch services was filled with a myriad of varying information. Or simply being unhelpful. They take your money and don’t hold up their end of the deal at all. They say refer to the contract and wipe their hands of it.

Moving is already stressful and these people add to the stress. They expect you to be able to arrange your schedule due to their lack of communication even if you go out of your way to preemptively get information.

Unless you are moving a couple hours away, DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES. Rent a UHAUL and drive even with these crazy gas prices. Pay some family members or some friends to help you move.

I was willing to pay for the convenience and now this is a decision I regret fully.

Mover beware

Sent over a full itemized list of the house and they sent a truck 1/2 the size needed. Blamed us for confirming that their quote was correct when they converted the list to cu. feet and missed half of the items. Tried to charge us more than double the quote once they arrived on-site and will not refund the deposit. Claimed they were owed it because of 'tolls and fuel'. $5K. Be careful if you decide to move with them. They use false business practices to make profit.

Long-distance move from Toledo, OR to Marion, MT

Long distance move from Oregon to Montana

We set up this move of a 5 bedroom home in March. Move cost was $13,710. On the weekend of the move in July. One person showed up instead of the crew of people promised to load our belongings. He showed up a day late due to a missed flight out of Chicago. We ended up having to load our own belongings. The individual from Trinity offered to pay my kids 20 dollars an hour cash to load the items. Including the minor. So my wife and I with our two sons loaded the truck. My wife and I received no compensation for our part of this task. This was never part of the contract we signed. We had always been promised a crew. This to us was completely unbelievable.

Once the truck was loaded, and we paid the mover for the load, he double charged us on one large heavy item that was in the original quote. He also did not pick up several large tool boxes that were in the quote. The truck left without being full. We had been told by Trinity while organizing the move that it would be 3 to 10 business days. They picked us up on the 11th of July. Thefirst delivery date was July 12th. It is now August 5th. We still do not have our belongings. We have dealt with multiple people from Trinity. Some of which are horribly rude. Brokers, customer service and agents and finally today one manager.

We have been promised repeatedly that someone would call us and tell us what is going on with our belongings and when we will receive delivery. First off, trinity never returns phone calls or emails after they have your money. You will always have to inititate the conversation. We keep getting delivery promises and yet it never happens. Finally today, after talking to customer service for quite sometime we got a manager, who basically said this is not Trinity's problem. He said we needed to contact the carrier. The carrier finally called today and said they were loading our stuff back up on Monday and delivering sometime next week. He further stated that they can only give us 24 hour notice prior to delivery. The person also said they needed cash payment upfront or they would not unload the truck. It does not seem to matter if you have a contract with Trinity as they appear to have no control over their subcontractors or responsibility to things like contracts. We feel like we have been scammed from the get go. My wife and kids have been in tears ove this ordeal. We thought by spending the money on a professional mover, well we would get a professional service. Instead of what has taken place. So far I have paid out $10,238.43 dollars to these people. They want $4,300 more, which by there own words has to be cash. Again this is over the contract amount with Trinity.

We do not have a delivery date, we do not know where our stuff is, nor can the carrier (USA Relocation services) tell us where our things are. We had to load everything. Completely ridiculous. We would have been better off renting the same 26' Uhaul the human from Trinity showed up in. We would have saved thousands and always had our belongings secure. I dont pretend to be anybody to give advice to others, but I hope this helps someone else avoid having such a mess on there hands to deal with.

Worst company in America

We contracted Trinity for our moving needs. They gave us an initial quote. Since that initial quote the price went up over $7000. Then they outsourced the job to Mover Van Lines who did not show up on the agreed day, took 24 days to deliver our belongings and then broke or destroyed many items of our possessions. They also did not unwrap furniture or clean up or take the trash. I find all of this totally unacceptable.

Do NOT! Book with this company

There is ZERO chance the 5 star reviews for Trinity relocation group are real. I provided a detailed inventory list of everything to be packed. Our original estimate was $6,600. After providing a detailed list the week of the move, our price jumped up to over $7,200. The moment the movers showed up, the price jumped up again to $9,000. The movers loaded 95% of our stuff in the uhaul and told us we had to pay them over $12,000 and demanded the money. We had a 2 bedroom apartment and were extremely clear in everything we wanted moved. We also packed everything ourselves. The $12,000 did not included packing of items. This is illegal! We keep calling Trinity to get a final number of why we were charged so much money and asked for an updated delivery date (all of our stuff was picked up 3 weeks ago) and they tell us they can not get ahold of the company they sub-contracted our move to. In addition, we have requested multiple times copies of our signed agreements and they will not provide this to us. Where is our stuff? And why were we charged so much money? Do not use this company. Run far away.

**UPDATE** it’s been 60 days since the movers came to pick up our stuff and we still have not received our things. The company they dispatched our move to, Rado express logistics, promised us our things would be here by yesterday. I called them and they say they’ve called the driver over 15 times and can not get ahold of him and they have no idea where he is. Where is our stuff??? It’s been 2 months!! Trinity is a complete waste of space and will not help at all. Rado express is awful and does not care at all.

I can’t imagine a worse experience

I don’t know where to start. We contracted with Trinity to do our cross-country move. We worked with the senior estimator to come up with a quote (aiming to over estimate). We made an inventory of everything we had to move an emailed it to him. He estimated it at $12,000 at the high end. It ended up being more than $20,000. However, that’s not the worst part.

The movers were scheduled to arrive 1-3 days out from the move. On the third day, we received a call from Trinity letting us know that their truck would be there sometime between 11 am and 1 pm. Though this seemed like a very tight window, we assumed they knew what they were talking about and waited for them. And waited. And waited. At some point the driver called to say that he would be there between 4 and 6 pm. He actually showed up at 8:30 pm (we were supposed to turn over the keys to the new owners just over 24 hours later and we still had to clean after the movers left). Upon arrival, he told us there was no way we were going to do the move for $12,000. He re-estimated at $15,000. We had no choice. Trinity wouldn’t return our calls and the estimator who booked the move wouldn’t answer his phone or his email. They obviously didn’t finish that night so they came back the next morning. They came back and begin packing again the next morning. Then, sometime in the afternoon they informed us that the truck was full and that they didn’t have room to get the rest of our things in the truck. Unable to find an additional truck, they rented a storage unit, emptied the truck and came back for more (bringing the total cost now up to $21,000). At this point we were mere hours from having to turn over the keys and the house still wasn’t clean. (Meanwhile we couldn’t get any actual help from Trinity). We were frantically calling our realtor to see if he could reach out to the new owners of the house to see if they could give us another 24 hours. Thankfully he was able to get us until the next morning to get everything out. The movers came back later and picked up more stuff but still left some. Our family had to stay in a hotel overnight and come back the next morning to clean. Now, I am writing this at 9 am the next morning (12 hours after we were supposed to hand over the keys) and we are finally done. I still cannot get Trinity to respond.

My family and I worked alongside the movers so we are exhausted. Now we need to drive half way across the country to our new house and then wait up to 30 days to receive our stuff (even though Trinity initially said 8-10 days). We are exhausted and demoralized. We are out close to double what we were initially quoted. And the entire time we received no support from the people at Trinity. In fact, they still haven’t responded.

I’m angry, I’m frustrated, and I’m tired and I can’t believe we just spent about the price of a good used car to get our stuff moved.

Please, do not use this company. If all that comes out of my experience is that no one else has to go through this, that will be at least one small win.

Absolute Thievery

Dishonest, incompetent, pusillanimous, derelict thieves. They will charge you nearly $2,000 to make an estimate while presenting themselves as the movers, they literally do nothing else but make an estimate. In my particular case, their estimate was over 50% wrong, costing me multiple thousands more than budgeted for in the middle of a cross-country move, and they will take no responsibility. Good luck getting them to answer a phone call after the initial sale, and if they do answer they will make an excuse at best or flat-out lie right to you. Their word-for-word response was "if you don't want to pay the extra money you can just leave half of your belongings behind."

Thieves

HAVE A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE? Feel taken advantage of? Lied to? Stolen from?

You’re not alone, e-mail trg.classaction@gmail.com with your story and details.

Companies like this that ignore their customers after cheating them and lying to them think they can get away with it because they have contracts. It’s not true. They only get away with it when you stay quiet and move on. A simple email with your story plus a review here could save someone else from the mistake of hiring them. And we can help you get justice for your frustrations and sufferings that TRG has caused. The sales reps lie, the management lies, and then they steal your money and then drop off the face of the earth.

Our story is simple. Moving cross country and we hire them to help make the transition easier. They require a deposit, we pay and we ask how long it will take. The sales rep, Shane, says 5 days over the phone, which they say their phone calls are recorded. We also have it in email afterwards stating because it is a 5 day move we’d like to move our pickup date up one day and Shane says not a problem.

So we lock ourselves in only to find out the day before from the actual freight company TRG contracts that it will be 10-15 days.

This obviously won’t work for us. We can’t possibly live in a hotel or on a floor for an extra 5-10 days without our stuff.

So we call to figure it out and they start back pedaling and highlighting where anything they say is estimated only and the lies begin.

Shane first, with the 5 day quote, most likely just a way for him to secure his commission, then Caleb, the supervisor, who denies it out right.

“No Shane never said 5 days” “I reviewed the phone logs and 5 days was never mentioned”

Obviously we didn’t make up 5 days out of thin air and we have email communication where we mention it after the phone call, and Shane doesn’t correct us. When requesting the phone logs we are ignored.

When speaking to customer service the lady just bluntly stated “you’re not getting your money back” as she knows how it goes down with this company already. Bells are going off in my head as I realize this is a normal thing for them and then communication stops once we request our money back so we can secure other arrangements.

TRG doesn’t care about you, the customer. They are a predatory business with shady business tactics that think they can hide behind contracts that they rush their customers through while on the phone with the customer.

No where in the contract does it state 5 days, or even 10-15 days, but 5 days definitely did come out of their sales rep, Shane’s, mouth.

Going from 5 days, even if an estimate, to being told it’s going to be 10-15 days by the carrier themselves, the day before the move, is not acceptable. If it happens, the right thing to do by a company like TRG, that is a service based company, is to refund the deposit so their customers can make arrangements that will work for them rather then try to hold them hostage by refusing to release the 50% deposit in order to secure the rest of the payment.

Email TRG.classaction@gmail.com with your experience and let’s help make sure they don’t keep doing this to their customers.

Beware of this Company

I engaged with this Company to move the contents of my home to Houston, TX. Shortly after giving them a deposit of $2,723 I had to reschedule the move due to the buyer of my property being delayed in the closing of their property. Within a few days thereafter I was informed that my buyer was not going forward. I promptly called Trinity to cancel the move. They informed me that all of my deposit was non refundable even though the cancellation was out of my control. After speaking with a number of individuals within their organization and getting nowhere, I filed a complaint with the BBB. The complaint was not resolved as evidently the BBB does not have the authority to force them to refund the deposit. My position as stated in my complaint is that while the Company did incur some expense in holding my reservation, they clearly did not incur expenses in the amount they withheld for the deposit. I would caution anyone that conducts business with this Company to give them a minimum deposit and read all of the reviews on this page. If I has done so I would have saved $2,723, as I would not have conducted business with them.

Overpriced and broke/lost a lot of items

They came back with a great estimate. On moving day it ended up being double that, and they still only took half of my stuff. I rented a truck for the remainder rather than pay another 10k. At the end of the day, the movers asked for a 1000 dollar bribe in exchange for taking $2000 off the cost.

When we got our new place and told them a move-in date, they said they'd get back to us. After bugging them for 3 weeks, they finally called. Said they would be there the next day at 8am. So we had about 12 hours notice and had to call off work.

They lost 3 boxes, broke 90% of our plates, and lost the dining room table I made by hand.

Expect estimate not to be accurate

Started out nice gave estimate, never came to house to do estimate we provided the info over phone. They sub contract out to a moving company. Did the down payment had cashier check ready the day movers came and got hit with another 2900 dollars. So it went from $8800 to $11,700. Extra cubic feet they said and fuel charge. Stay away from this company No estimate should be off that much.

Poor communications

Had a much lower estimate to what was actually needed. Asked when originally booking if paying by credit card was fine and was told it was. Come the day of, hit with "pay us $4500 cash or cashiers check or money order or we're cancelling your move". When trying to call our coordinator to work out the originally agreed upon credit card payment, were completely ignored. Managed to scrape together that cash in an hour by the skin of our teeth, but I can imagine a lot of people just getting scammed out of their deposits in that situation. Don't be tricked by the low estimate, they will cost you more and will try to screw you.

Long-distance move from Jersey City, NJ to Napa, CA

My experience with Trinity Location Group NJ-->CA Move June 2022

This is a 1bed, 1 bath, a single occupant, 800sq apt from New Jersey (elevator) to California (1st floor) in June 2022

I was given a quote of 3594.27 which included packing services and materials, disassembling and resembling furnitures upon pickup and drop-off . I sent them a list of my inventory, pictures of all my furnitures as well as a video of my entire apartment because I wanted to get an accurate quote. After “reviewing” everything, James Turner, a senior moving coordinator, gave me the aforementioned quote. He even told me he overestimated my needs to make sure don’t get extra charges.

I did a quick search about their company. I saw some horrific negative reviews with the main theme of “they give you a low quote to get you in the door, then on the day of charge you double and extra fees, customers have no other choice but to pay”. Reviewers also mention that Trinity Relocation. Group is a broker, they sell the moves to independent contractors. I was concerned and talked to James Turner about this. He said 1) they are NOT a broker but rather have multiple teams across different states 2) happy customers don’t leave reviews, only the disgruntled ones leave reviews. And because I sent him a comprehensive list, pictures, and video, the quote I receive is very accurate.

They also did not give me a date or time of the move until less than 14 hours before. They said they could only give me a 3 day window, they can come at any time, any day during that time and this is a very customary thing to do for long distance moving. If I want a specific date and time I have to pay 400 extra. I had to book my elevator for 3 consecutive days.

On the day of the move, All Points Moving & Storage showed up with 3 guys, 1 in charge names Jesus and two movers in a 22 foot Penske rental truck. This was not their company truck. This was clearly a daily rental that these random guys rent for the day to do the job.

I was expecting Trinity so I quickly googled All Points. They have a 1.5 star with 37 reviews on Yelp. Jesus told me he cannot park in my high rise luxury apartment complex loading dock because he can’t clear the ceiling. He said that would be extra for Long Carry and additional for every 10 feet they have to park further away. I told him bigger trucks have parked here before which was confirmed by my concierge team. They told Jesus for sure he can clear the ceiling and park in the dock.

Jesus refused and was offended that I questioned his assessment of not being able to clear the ceiling. He threatened to pull this team and not doing the move. I told that’s fine. He “called” his boss to complain. And Trinity called me on my phone and reprimanded for questioning their “contractors”.

Jesus gave me a new price, 6020.97, almost double what they quoted me because I needed two times the amount of boxes I was quoted, extra materials and packing services that exceeded the number of boxes quote to me, for long distance carry, for each piece of glass I had. At this point, I had no choice but agreed as they have already starting to pack my things. I felt bamboozled. I noticed they started “packing” the boxes 1/2 full. They also parked as far as possible from the entrance to double the “Extra distance that they have to walk”. At the end, Jesus demanded a tip that was based on the new price. I did ask Trinity/ James Turner about customary tips, he told me “these guys get pay really well for what they do from us so 40-50 bucks is more than enough”. I was planning to give them a 15% tip based on the quote. I was forced into given a tip, I was afraid that they would damage my stuffs if I refused.

They again played the our truck could not clear. This is an open space, no ceiling, almost townhouse complex in CA. They demanded another 1250 extra. I found out that All Points stored my stuff in storage and have a long distance moving group top pick up and do the actual move. The team delivering my stuffs was a different group/company. They also demanded a tip based on the new…new total. My vanity’s leg was broken. My bedroom lamb was broken. Besides my bed, they did not reassemble anything.

My move ended up being 2.5 times more expensive than quoted.

The major issues I have with this experience are

1. Deceitful representation from Trinity Relocation Group as if they are actually the moving company, they are not. Their goal is to get as many people to sign contracts with an underestimated quote so they get a cut

2. Deceitful representation from All Points Moving, they did not move my stuffs across the country. They rented a truck, moved my things to a warehouse and then paid someone else to move my things

3. Upsell, in this case, forceful and threatening upsell tactics

4. Refusal to do what they had contracted to do after they got paid that is dissembling the furnitures.

The common themes here are: false representation and trapping customers at the last minutes so they have to choice but to pay.

Long-distance move from Silver Springs, NV to Cape Girardeau, MO

Bamboozled!

I work for a company that has granted me opportunities to go to different states. My last move of 2000 miles 4 years ago was a disaster. We tried to minimize costs and used a service that damaged most of our furniture so we didn't want a repeat of that.

My wife told me about Trinity being a good company and so we decided to try them out for a move this year. The initial quote was way below the competition, we were quoted just over 8000 when the competition was closer to 20k for a 4 br move from Nevada to Missouri. So we went with them. About 2 weeks prior to the move Trinity gave us a courtesy call and wanted to go over the list of items before the truck came. I was surprised when some of the items that were considered new were ones that I discussed previously and our quote jumped from just over 8k to 14.5k. Of note this entire time in between I am commuting back and forth from Nevada to Missouri. This still was well under the competition and now is close to move time that I still agreed.

Move day. Trinity doesn't show. This is when I find out that Trinity is a broker and not a mover. The mover then proceeds to do a visual inspection and the price more than doubles! Now it is just north of 31k!! I have no choice now because my house is sold and I have to be out in 3 days! Usually my wife researches the heck out of everything so I didn't question her, but I go online ( as I should have before) and read reviews seeing that this is a trend for Trinity and the movers they broker to. I'm now terrified of how my furniture and belongings will arrive. I regret ever believing the folks at Trinity.

Bait and Switch

They seem very professional up until the point your move starts. Do not be fooled. The price they quote is NOT the price you'll pay, and you find that out when your load is picked up, and if you're unlucky like me, when your load is delivered. I was charged more (even though I overestimated the size of my load) at pick-up and charged more again at drop-off. They literally hold your load hostage until you pay them more money. I felt as if I was in a mobster movie.

Long-distance move from Fort Wayne, IN to Madison, WI

FULL BREAKDOWN OF WHAT TO EXPECT

They go through a detailed inventory over the phone of all of your items in your home, and put them into a master list that calculates the cubic footage that needs to be moved. I moved a two bedroom apartment (only my wife and I). The inventory list had me at 484 cf and we were quoted a few grand for it. I later realized that estimate was WAY off, since just our mattress and couch would take up about half of that space. So I email the QA guy I'd been in contact with and he says I can increase the estimate, and any extra space they don't need will cause the price to drop at pick up. Okay, I double it to 900 cf since their algorithm is so bad. I expect this is where many of these people get upset about being upcharged at pick up. 4 Stars

Now the estimate is almost $8000, way more than I wanted, but it's too late to change because the date is approaching. An unaffiliated moving company (Best Price Moving) comes to pick up (that itself is going to make things harder). They have you sign for the estimate (900 cf), I tell them they'll have to measure the end amount since this is just a guess, they say of course. Then they charge for packing supplies ($85, Trinity said they wouldn't), then they tell me it'll be delivered in 3-5 business days (Trinity said it would be delivered next day). 3 Stars

Several days later, the stuff arrives with a new crew. They did not measure the actual amount of cubic footage, and I have to sign for 900 cf or not get my stuff. I call Trinity, the customer service rep says to sign it and we'll reimburse you. Fine. I ask the guy with the truck how much it looks like I used, he says about 750 cubic feet (so my rough guess was better than the moving company's algorithm). They unload the truck and a few items are broken/missing, but that's for a Best Price review. Trinity has "insurance", but it doesn't really cover anything (it covers pennies per pound of item, so if an expensive heavy item breaks, you get a few dimes).

After the move, I contact Customer Service repeatedly, usually getting no response. Eventually, one rep tells me that they have no record of the person who told me to sign, and so I will not be getting $900 back. 1 Star.

Conclusion: They lie, they're incompetent, I would recommend paying a few friends or family members $1000 each to help you move because you'll save money and they'll do a better job.

Interstate Criminals!!!! (Colorado to Indiana)

I’m reading all these bad reviews and it sounds way too familiar. I am truly upset as I am writing this. Same thing as the other people, quoted one thing and when they got there the truck was not big enough. How convenient for them, when we told him exactly what we had. So we had to get a second truck. another $3800. We have been waiting since August 28 to get our stuff delivered it’s been three months. We still don’t know where our stuff is, when it’s going to get here, or what kind of shape it’s going to be in. We ended up paying three times the amount that was originally quoted by Trinity.

Trinity is absolutely a broker. We trusted them because we thought they were a professional Company according to the ratings online. The carriers name was Rado Express Logistics in Streamwood Illinois. Multiple calls to them, multiple calls to Trinity. They keep saying we’re working on it, we’re formulating a route, your stuff is in transit, no your stuff has never left Colorado yet, no your stuff is in Missouri it’ll be here in a few days, everything and anything you can think of they told us. If you are reading this review, this is the gods honest truth. Do not use Trinity or Rado express. They are a bunch of liars and crooks. They took every last bit of money we had for the second truck and now we’re sitting here without our personal items. As of today Trinity has washed their hands of us. And told us we were on our own and we had to contact the carrier directly. I told them we did not hire this carrier you did. Can you take some responsibility. Well you know the answer, they did not take any responsibility. I think all of us on here that are experiencing The same thing should consider a class action suit against them. I don’t understand how they are still in business. They do nothing but bad business, no ethics, no morals, and should be forced to close their business treating consumers like this. So we paid a total of $17,000 when we were quoted $6500. But they have their little fine print in there that nobody has time to read every single word knowing that they’re there waiting to pick up your stuff.

So you feel forced to sign. But that’s quite a bit of difference in price. They will only accept cashiers check, personal check, or cash. That’s fishy in itself. Like most of us we were waiting to pull out of the drive because we sold our house and we’re ready to hand the keys over to the next owner. Truly people, they have this worked out to the T. As I’m writing this now, I’m still waiting on my second truck which has a third of my life in it!!! And I can’t help but wonder how much more it’s gonna cost me when they come up with some other bullshit excuse on delivery, if it gets here. We’ve heard horror stories that they can’t get their semi into your neighborhood so you have to pay for a shuttle. Well, we paid in full so there should be no collection upon delivery. I told them to put this in their notes, that we have checked with the local police and our subdivision and they CAN pull right in and right out with not even having to turn around.

Please call a moving company yourself not Trinity!!! Not only did we have a bad experience, we are still having it

Long-distance move from Oklahoma to Idaho

DON'T USE

They are a broker not actual mover. Estimate was $6300 the company they hired to move me wants to charge $10,700. Also take in account the money you will spend on clothes, air matresses, dishes, etc. R&M Transportation just says I will have to get with logistics and get back to you. I'm a single parent that moved from Oklahoma to Idaho on October 22nd. All I want is an honest answer on when to expect my stuff.

Long-distance move from Connecticut to Florida

Trinity Relocation Group

This company provided us with a great $4800 quote for our move from Connecticut to Florida. I hired them and provided a deposit. The company representatives created a detailed list of our belongings which we went over at least twice. We'll, that is where the good experience ended. On moving day, a company called Patriot from Bayonne, NJ arrived. Apparently Trinity sub contracts their moving jobs (We were unaware of this). Only one of the movers spoke English, and he immediately told us that we had more belongings that would cost additional money. How much? Our estimate ballooned to $9,000! How did this happen? We believe that Trinity deliberately underestimated our cost. To make matters worse, the Patriot rep said our belongings could arrive up to 21 business days after they were picked up! So after more than two weeks of living on a blow up mattress and three different phone calls to Trinity, our belongings be arrived! With ONE mover to unload it all! Needless to say, YOU SHOULD AVOID Trinity and Patriot movers. They deserved zero stars. Big time fraud!

Stolen Items

I used this half ass moving company who never ever told me they were a 3rd party broker. They have broken my furniture and they also stole some of my boxes. When i asked them about it they laughed and said it was my problem. This so called moving company is a scam and a bunch of thieves. All my family's pictures i had for decades are gone and the freaking company just laughed about it. I still will not give up until they are investigated and found guilty and sent to prison. Please do not use this company or you will be so sorry as i am. THEY ARE A SCAM AND ITS ALL OWN BY FOREIGNER'S WHICH EXPLAINS WHY THEY ARE THIEVES AND SCAMMERS.

The most horrific moving experience ever

This is nothing but a bait and switch scam. They charged me three times the original quote and held my furniture captive. Somehow, parts of my expensive antique furniture were missing. They destroyed half of the items they moved, all custom made and irreplaceable. They were rude, carelessly, drug furniture over the floor. They left half my stuff at the old location. Despicable . DON'T USE!!!

Long-distance move from Chesapeake, VA to Milton, FL

Absolutely Horrible excuse for a moving company

Where to start, the initial estimate was 4000 dollars, after they gave me my initial estimate and had a contract signed I never heard back from my moving agent, I was then pawned off on another agent who sold my move off to a different moving company who then up charged my move 6000+ dollars so my move which was initially quoted at 4k ended up costing me well over 10k. Thats just the beginning of my experience. The moving company they sold my move too was extremely poorly ran as well, they lost/stole multiple of my items and broke others along with refusing to unpack my packed items even though I did pay for that aspect of the move. Do not make the same mistake I did. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS COMPANY. Find an actual moving company not a moving broker who will sell your move to someone else and then never respond to you.

Long-distance move from Doylestown, PA to Tucson, AZ

Carless and unresponsive

My move from PA to AZ consisted of 135 boxes, mostly small "state-store" heavy duty cartons, 6 plastic storage bins and 3 low chests, 3 chairs i easel and an old Singer sewing machine console. I was charged over $9000: the cubic footage was exaggerated in the estimate by Trinity and by first of several movers associated with them. There was no sofa, no TV, and no bedroom sets/no mattresses. Imagine the cost if I had moved a whole ho9use!!! I just needed to get the move completed and did not argue the point. I suffered damage to about 90% of packing materials and contents. My professional easel was damaged. Photos of some of the damages were submitted over 2 months ago and I have yet to hear a word from Trinity. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE.

Missing items and no one take responsibility

I used this company in September 2002. It subcontracts different identities for do estimates, packaging and delivery, each of the identities asks to pay individually. At the end, when I found 7 (out of 55) missing items, I found no one to ask to find them. After several months, I am still trying to figure out who is the contact person to find my missing items. Avoid this company if all possible.
