I used sunflower Transit to get from Los Angeles to North Miami Beach FL. The representative I spoke to was Mike. He was very caring, and understood the stressfulness of my move. Not only were they able to give me the best pricing but my stuff got to North Miami safe and sound in one piece within the time frame that they gave me. I would highly recommend this company to anybody moving specifically from the West Coast cross country. Thank you sunflower transit for all your help!

Do not use this service. They give you a low ball quote & on the day of the move, they broker you out to another company who requotes your job!!Huge cost increase !! Sunflower told me they would deliver my goods in 5-7 days... after my goods were loaded I then was told by the company they brokered it to, it may be up to 30 days before delivery!!...... The customer service phone number voice mail is not set up for they company they brokered the job to. The company they broker my goods out to does not answer the phone. No communication, terrible customer service. I am not sure at this point if I will get my goods!!! May have to take legal action to get my goods...

If you are looking around for a mover, before making you read my review let me give you my recommendation: NEVER do business with Sunflower Transit. Here's why:

They will make you pay a deposit for a move they won't be able to deliver on. They will cancel your move at the last minute, causing you to scramble to find an expensive solution to your now monumental problem. Than they will delay issuing a refund. They have held my money for a month now and won't be straight with us. They are rude, terrible at communicating. We have contacted the BBB and filed a claim against them. After that is processed, if we haven't received our refund you bet we'll be suing them not just for the money they owe us but interest for holding onto money that is not theirs. Doesn't that sound like an awesome customer experience moving your stuff across country?

To summarize, if you like having a job done terribly or not done at all, losing money and over all being super frustrated, hire Sunflower. If you want quality work, NEVER use them. Good luck to you if you hire them, you're going to need it.

I spoke to Jeff Miller & told him everything i had he quoted me. I was then assigned to Claire Smith who SCREWED ME UP BIG TIME. The movers came and charged me almost $2000 extra after i stated everything i had. I argued with Claire n the movers NO HELP. One of the movers broke my bookshelf and left some stuff. I tried calling Claire over 30 times she didn’t pick up and pretty much texted saying F me & my remaining stuff. BY FAR THE WORST COMPANY EVER. DO NOT BOOK WITH SUNFLOWER. THEY LIED ABOUT MY QUOTE AND OVER CHARGED ME AND LEFT SOME THINGS AND BROKE SOME STUFF AND DIDN'T EVEN GIVR ME A DELIVERY OR ESTIMATED DELIVERY DATE

First let me say , I never in my 60+ years understood how companies are able to take advantage of honest hard working people and stay in Business. This is the worst company possible. They are very scandalous. They talk like they care about your moving needs but when it comes time to follow thru they are no where to be found. Claire, Cameron, and Jeff are all allowed to take advantage of hard working consumers. The first guy Jeff quoted me a price went through the whole script, of what he felt I needed. Sounded good for a whole 2 months. Then 2 months later ... 1 WEEK BEFORE MOVEDAY....Cameron calls to say that Jeff's estimate(735cf) is not correct and that I should have more space(1500 cf), based on the exact same inventory I gave Jeff!!! He strongly advised that if I don't pay an extra 2000+ that a lot of my stuff will be left behind! And if I don't need a $10,000 truck, them you'll just pay for what you use( his words). My whole problem with this process is Sunflower has not checked on me once to see if I was happy or if things were going ok, or even if I had any questions. When I called Cameron back because I was going to change my inventory to somehow NOT reflect me using a 15 00 cf Truck which would cost $10,000 he was no where to be found!! Claire who was my original broker disappeared too!Iwas only able to speak to her 1 time during this entire process.To add insult to my already straight up injury the movers came and could not see where I paid an extra $2000+ to Cameron! Fast forward to 3 weeks later the movers are 12 days late with my goods, holding them hostage because they say they cannot get in my city and they have to rent a smaller truck to bring my goods, which will cost $900 MORE CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS!!!!!! Still no help from Sunflower!! I hope I can save someone from this extreme heartache!! DO NOT SELECT SUNFLOWER LLC, out-of-Florida THE BROKERS ARE CROOKED AND CANIVING!! And they DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU... US THE CUSTOMER. IT'S TOTALLY ONLY ABOUT THE MONEY NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! My next review is to the BBB!! THESE PEOPLE TRULY NEED TO BE STOPPED SOMEHOW. If I could rate 0 stars, then I would. They quoted us $2500 for a move with a guarantee it would be at the new location in 3 days. They called to take inventory about a week before showing up. Then told us, we actually were going to have be pushed back by a day. Not the biggest deal in the world, we just had to reschedule some things. However on the day of the move, they called us and told us that the new quote was $5600 and that our packages would “get there when they get there.” We tried to negotiate down to 4 grand, which already would stretch us incredibly thin, to which they replied “we can take half of your stuff for that price.” Out of principle, we just took a uhaul and did it ourselves. The worst customer service possible imaginable.

We hired Sunflower Transit for our cross-country move. We had a low estimate at first for a very good price, which is how they got us into a contract, and they completely redid it the week before our move to charge us almost double for mostly boxes and only 5 pieces of furniture (bookcases). But then the movers actually come to our apartment and say that the estimate we had was still way lower than our stuff will actually take up in the truck, even though we had 14 boxes fewer and a full desk less than the actual estimate we were given that they didn’t need to include in the truck. Their whole scheme seems to be to low-ball you to get you in a contract and then charge you way more when movers actually show up! Completely ridiculous, and the moving company that actually picked up our stuff (CR7) was rude and asked us for $100 tips per person and did not phrase it as optional. I would suggest you measure the cubic feet of your stuff as close as possible before anyone picks it up or do not use this company.

Again in rereading the contract and reviewing my rights under the website you provided. Your company's representative was not clear. I asked your company's representative if "I can cancel?''. They advised me that I could cancel, as long as it is within the timeframe provided in the contract. They did not mention to me at all that a "requested move date time frame" is the same thing as an "available pickup date." I was advised to wait for a phone call to schedule my final pickup date. Which was asked many times and I said Oct 17th, through Oct 19th. So if anything this should have been my requested move date.10/17/22 through 10/19/22.

Once I found out the payment method, I immediately hung up the phone. Your company called me back right away. I explained to Sam why I did not feel comfortable with going through with my order. Immediately before Sam could speak, his manager got on the phone. I advised the manager how I feel more comfortable with a credit card payment method just in case something were to happen I have my bank back me up. I explained to the supervisor multiple times that I did not feel comfortable. The supervisor advised me, "Since you mentioned a dispute I do not know if we should do business with each other." Your comapny's supervisor pressured me into signing a deal. Additionally, this seems like a bait and switch kind of scenario where both Sam and the supervisor understood the difference between Requested Move Date (as stated in my contract of 9/20/22 - 10/20/22.), they knew I could not cancel and I would lose 50% of my funds, therefore the company collects and makes money. If they would have explained to me that I would not be able to get my full refund back because of how they completed the contract then I would have totally understood. This is a sneaky and underhanded trick, that is a complete violation of the regulation UDAAP. (Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Practices).

To conclude, I would like between $500 to -$600 dollars of my money back, through Venmo or Zelle. If not we will go into arbitration. Along with the complaints to the the BBB, CPB, State of Florida, and City of Palm Beach. So please let's not let it get to this. Because really under the section of red flags of the website provided in the contract your company has an 85%match, and I am sure the FMSCA would love to hear about this.

I appreciate a timely and quick response. Additionally please be advised that if I do not receive my money seeing as I work from home I will continue to reach out every hour on the hour till I get my funds. If your company tries to block my number, there are ways around this, as well. Everything I am saying to your company is not a threat, but a foreshadowing of what is to come.

April this is nothing against you personally. I am sure you are a wonderful human being, and I wish you the best in life. My money is my money, and I deserve it back. Your company is not clear and completed a bait and switch which is completely illegal.

They are nice enough salesmen. But their customer support response is zero. We entered a contract, but decided to cancel within the 48 hours. We called them, and exchanged emails. They failed to process the refund after 3 weeks. We called Discover Card to initiate a refund. Eventually, Discover Card decided to NOT finalize the refund. Fine. We cancelled the cancellation. But now we are ready to move. I sent an email asking questions on Monday. It is now Friday afternoon. After several more emails NO RESPONSE AT ALL. Useless to call as nobody picks up and the voicemail is ALWAYS full. Frankly, if you cannot be bothered with people who have given you money after 5 full business days then you should not be in business. If you cannot staff a business to respond to customers within 5 days then you should not be in business. If you cannot empty your voicemail occasionally something is wrong. There are many moving companies. Pick a different one.

Before you commit to Sunflower Scammers LLC, do your research. If they offer you a lowball price be aware of the movers they use. Sunflower is not a mover they are a broker who works in conjunction w/Expert movers out of New Jersey. They low ball you to get you to commit, then when their criminal foremen arrives he immediately tries to up charge you $5-6k. We packed everything. Research the 110% rule. Make sure they inventory every item on their “household goods inventory”. Better yet, don’t go w/the criminals known as Sunflower or Expert Movers. Do your research & go to the D.O.T. - FMSCA & go by their recommendation. You will never find Sunflower or Expert Movers in the top ten or recommend by the D.O.T.

Can I give 0 stars. This company is a broker. Please be aware they subcontract out your move and it's downhill from there. They have you sign a contract that disappears from devices almost very similar to wire fraud. I was supposed to move from Ohio to Arizona with furniture going into storage first. At this time I don't know where my furniture is and I was told it is in Ohio. So basically, my furniture is being held ransom by a company they subcontract out to and now that they've made their money it is completely out of their hands. This is such a kind way to treat fellow hard working people that simply want to save money. At this point I'm out of 1289 dollars, they want me to pay another company 1500 through an app called Venmo or send them a picture of a check. Very shady and pathetic. So now I'm in a house that is about to sell sleeping on an air mattress with no ideal where my belongings are at. Don't try to save a dollar, run and run fast. I wish I only had this information before hand.
