I should have booked with safe ship to begin with, I knew the other company made me feel uncomfortable and should've stuck with my gut. I am so glad I am not having to write a terrible review. I was really nervous seeing all the bad press that moving brokers get. My experience was pretty pleasant, the movers were nice and they took their time packing up my stuff. I paid for the platinum packing service because I just didn't have the time to pack everything myself. They did a good job, none of my stuff broke and it all got there in one piece.

Painless and stress free move.

Got a job promotion 700 Miles from my home ! Wanted to take half of my belongings to my rental. So I was not sure. So I provided him with an estimate of what I wanted to take. I received my quote at a reasonable price but after I hung up I realized I wanted to take more stuff and spoke to their quality assurance person and he was able to make the adjustments with no increase in the price per CF . I was very happy with the team !

Pleasant experience!

Moving my mothers belongings after she passed. Called Safe Ship Moving looking for people we could trust with her belongings. They patiently went through different options and packages to assist us. They promised that the customer service team would track the whole process which they did. I was happy when the truck pulled up and all my mom's things were there. Love to hire them again.

Patrick was great to work with and helped me as a first time relocator and got me what I needed, fairly. The men who came with the truck that day were very kind, answered all my questions and helped me with whatever I needed. Stuff was packed well and they were extremely quick! I was so afraid of my highly expensive TV being damaged, but thankfully they provided a special tv box and the guys understood so they handled it with care. I will be using Safe Ship from now on.

Great group of movers

I would highly recommend Safe Ship! I have a china cabinet that I was very nervous about but they wrapped it for me and it was not damaged for the whole drive! You did a great job.

Last Minute Solution

It was a last minute decision for me to pick up and move to New York. After I had called safe ship, they were able to get me a truck out to my house three days later! The movers were very nice and professional, they took great care of my things along the way. I am very happy.

Good Team

Very pleased with how my move went. Jamaal and the other guy were extremely efficient. They took care of all my belongings and told me everything they were doing. They moved my two bedroom apt into a two bedroom home in about 3.5 hours. They put everything in the respective rooms or basement. It was a pleasure working with them and very affordable. Definitely worth it!

This company did an awesome job helping me and my family to move. Due to having to relocate for a new job, I needed a company that would be able to help us move quickly. I live on a military base and have had problems in the past with unprofessional moves so this time I decided to go with Safe Ship because they are a broker and said that they thoroughly vet their moving companies. They did an amazing job. The movers worked quickly and were very nice.

Thieves

Guys showed up to load my dad's belongings and left after 2 hours.. didn't return until 10am the next day after I called to complain.. same guys continued loading the truck that was just my dad's truck! Same guys drove and delivered the truck and unloaded it. Multiple bins were dug through and incorrect covers were put back on after stealing what they wanted.. Multiple bins missing including my dad's safe box that had our family's jewelry and rings,watches. Do not use this company unless you want to be robbed blind! They are doing nothing about getting our belongings back

. The drivers even admitted they stopped at home in Columbus Ohio

..that's why they were a day late..total crooks..

Cancellation attempt

I foolishly paid a deposit with this company, falsely thinking they would provide the service I needed. They were not willing/able/capable of that. I did cancel but due to my disabled son being hospitalized, I did not cancel within the 48 hour window so they get to keep all of my deposit, not just the broker fee. This is a rip off plain and simple. I have booked with another moving company who can/will provide the services I want. I'm not wealthy, I don't have $4,000 to just throw away. I am absolutely livid about this. I will make it a point to tell every person I know (and I know a whole lot of people....12k followers on Twitter, 66k followers on Instagram that this company is a rip off. Don't do business with them.

Saved The day

They say the stress levels from moving is right up there with death and divorce (not to be morbid). I originally asked Safe Sip to help me and my brother move. DO NOT USE SAFE SHIP

My husband and I have moved cross country multiple times and even rented our own uhaul boxes. We used safe ship to move just 180 miles and it has been the biggest nightmare. Everything they said has been a complete lie and we have yet to even leave our current apartment to move four days past our first confirmed moving day. They first told us on the phone that since we’re going such a short distance that it would be a same day or next day delivery. Then when they said they were coming to pick up our stuff that it could be a week and if we wanted it any sooner we would have to pay a dollar per mile. We said fine, we’d pay it even though this was never told to us. Then they said well if you want it expedited we can’t pick it up anymore today we will come tomorrow. So then we had the next day booked. Well the next day rolls around and turns out they cant do that day either and they push it again to the following day. Then the next day rolls around and they are now telling us the SAME THING. I tell them “if I had known it would take four days to even pick our stuff up then we would have never asked to get it expedited.” And they tell me I should be lucky because they have some people who have been waiting 29 business days and still haven’t gotten their items delivered. We now are four days past our moving day and are just praying they’re even showing up still. USE ANYONE ELSE OR JUST MOVE YOURSELF. THEY ARE HORRIBLE.

Worst in taking responsibility

We moved from salt lake to Alpharetta. They will leave no chance to get you booked saying the best in moving industry and they have best rating and competitive price in the location. I told them like 20 times not to miss pick up date giving them 2 different dates which was 3 days before the travel date but still they missed both the dates and came on the travel day to pick up and ended up almost missing our flight.

They got the things on time but damaged our sofa sets, bookshelves and lost band gave themy not covering them while transporting. Also instead of blanket they got the paper sheets to cover the remaining furnitures, luckily we packed our tv ourself with complete protection.

At the time of booking they also said they will be sending min 2 men to pick up stuff but only 1 person came which took 4 hours to clear the house where as it would have taken just 2 hours or less. Also he did not disassemble anything saying he doesnt know to do that.

It was so frustrating that they took money saying they are the best with so many things in the list but ended up doing just the opposite of what they said - missed 2 pick up dates, no blanket packaging, no disessemble service, no track on where the package is after pick up and just 1 man to pick up

But even after the drop off they misguided us purposefully to claim the lost and damaged goods by redirecting us to some CSI claiming service where they said the claims will be settles in 120 days and to be patient.It took hours to sit and upload all picks and they need atleast 3 pics with every discription of damage and the model number, price, color size etc of the items. After 2 months I received an email saying the claim was closed as the Safe ship moving company contract expired with the carrier which is North America LLC(which is a non rated movers and the Safe shipping wont give you the carrier name until the last moment).

They literally took all chance to cheat the customers just for booking money. Now they just gave the carrier number and said to contact the carrier itself as Safe ship moving LLC never touched our goods and they aren't responsible for anything. They said to read the contract which stated Safe ship is not responsible for anything. Worst company. I do not recommend this unprofessional movers. The only good thing is the customer service will pick up the phone. Even though u end up getting frustrated about their service at every stage.
