**WARNING** READ THE FINE PRINT

Where do I start?... With the multiple up-charges, extremely delayed delivery, inability to fit all my items in the truck, lies after lies. Overpromise and Underdeliver- literally. My move was from CO to PA, 1800 miles with roughly 1600 cu ft of household goods. Safe Ship (the broker) hired Rhema Transportation Service LLC to move my items. Rhema loaded my items in CO on Aug 20th and I set a delivery date in PA for Aug 31st, giving them plenty of time to make the trip. What Safe Ship does not tell you is that the delivery date you put on the contract is the "First available delivery date" and the company has up to 30 business days after to deliver your goods. Shame on me for thinking I was working with a reputable company that cares about their clients and would deliver my goods in a timely manner. Nope, it took them OVER a month after moving into our new home to see our items delivered. Leaving my family including my pregnant wife and 2 year old without any furniture/toys/kitchenware and having to sleep on a blow-up mattress while this horrendous company sat on their hands saying "there is nothing we can do about it." We were left completely helpless and were fed multiple different stories/excuses as their updates made no sense and they could never tell us where our goods were and when we could expect them.

Safe Ship initially quoted me a price that was competitive with others received. After the final inventory call only 2 days before pickup their algorithm thought that that the cubic ft would be about 500 more so they wanted to charge me an extra nearly $5,000 more. I decided to sell some items to lower the up-charge to only $3,000 more. Even after being completely honest with my inventory list, the truck they brought for pickup still did not fit all my belongings and I had to sell more items privately that they left behind.

The driver for Rhema who picked up my items specifically told me that the truck they loaded was going straight to PA and it will be ready for delivery when we are ready for it. That was a complete lie and this is when the stories/excuses/lies started. The first story we were told was that the truck actually went to a storage facility in TX. Then a week later we were told that the truck broke down at the CO/KS border. Then after weeks have now past and still no updates/delivery date estimated, we were told the truck broke down again and was out of commission for a few days. Once we were updated that it was back on the road we were told they hit traffic/accident and the delay would be an extra 2-3 days. Are you kidding me!..A traffic delay might take 2-3 hours, not 2-3 days. Lie after lie. When we finally got our items delivered on Oct 4th, I found out the driver worked for a completely different company (MB Transportation) and said he picked up my items in a storage facility in CO on Friday and had it delivered on Monday…Why couldn’t that have gotten done a month ago!!?? Apparently what happened is after Rhema sat on their hands for over a month, they finally sold the contract to a different company…Why couldn’t Safe Ship negotiate that for me!!??

Throughout this process, Rhema did not answer their calls and all the numbers provided had full voicemail boxes where we could not leave messages. Safe Ship did answer most the calls but all I got from them is "there is nothing we can do" because at that point we were under the mercy of the transportation companies.

This has absolutely the worst business experience I have ever been associated with. Reading other reviews, apparently I am not the only one who has experienced this and these companies need to be brought to justice for putting their clients through pain and agony of being lied to over and over and left helpless without their personal belongings. I have certainly learned my lesson and I hope you take the advice and look elsewhere for your moving services.

Amazing Customer Service

I had booked a move with Safe Ship Moving for November but unfortunately had a death in my family which completely changed my moving plans. They honor a 48 hour cancellation policy but since I was well over the 48 hour window I reached out to their customer service and explained my situation and they were so accommodating and understanding that they gave me a full refund. The manager Darren even gave me his personal cell phone number and texted with me at all hours not just business hours and worked with me to make sure I was able to receive my refund. You have no idea how much this meant to me during such a hard time, 10/10 for customer service, thank you guys so much!

Did an excellent moving job!!

Stressed! Stressed! Last minute move from Vegas to Los Angeles Job needed me immediately. Called Safe Ship Moving Services offered me free 30 day storage since I did not have a place to live yet and my company was paying for my hotel . They were professional and patient during the whole process while I was short with them due to my stress. They kept me calm and helped me understand the whole process.. Move went smoothly. I was able to report to work on time and know that my belongings were safe in storage waiting for me to find a place. Great team to work with!

Pleasant!

Mason and his team were great! I've used Safe Ship twice and have been extremely happy both times. The team was enthusiastic and upbeat and took great care of my belongings. The Worst

Brokers should be fined and put out of business...they use subpar moving companies and movers are so inexperienced. They do not vet and are only interested in making money. The move was so stressful and they were NO help at all, at one point the company they used tried to hold our items hostage. Call a moving company directly there is no need for a broker who just collects money

Positive feedback!!

I provided my inventory list and details to my representative Reggie. He was very suggestive and helpful at coordinating our specific needs. Everything he said would happen was exactly the case to the T! The movers were on time, and got everything packed and loaded in a timely manner. NIGHTMARE!!

BEWARE. My items were delivered a week after the day we had decided for delivery. Additional fees added post-quote. Items were damaged or were never delivered at all. MY furniture was scratched and punctured. Boxes were damp/wet. One of my boxes never even arrived. The missing box had precious memorabilia inside that is invaluable and can never be replaced. Communicating with them about the missing box has when worst part. The two women I've spoken with are aggressively rude, lacking any sense of empathy or human decency. They literally couldn't give a fuck less. I don't know what makes them so entitled to treat someone with such disrespect, but I know that they were not raised right!

Safe Ship and their partnered company Cosmos Van Lines are liars, crooks, thieves, and shitty humans. DON'T TRUST THEM WITH YOUR BELONGINGS. I'd rather light my shit on fire than pay these assholes 1,000's of dollar to lose and destroy it.

We were very pleased with the service we received from Safe Ship. We had to move out of our 13th floor condo and have our items stored until the construction was completed in our building. Our move was very complicated, but Safe Ship made it easy. They were very flexible with timing when we received the "go ahead" to move back in. They called ahead and came on time, and all of our antique items were in better condition than they left in. Would highly recommend Safe Ship for all of your moving needs!

Nothing to worry about

The men themselves that come out are very capable, and make they sure your belongings are safe and loaded efficiently. These gents have disassembled and reassembled beds etc, and they pay attention to detail. Some additional information on the guys we’ve dealt with, they are professional and yet very approachable. We have a great deal of respect for these guys,

they work very hard and yet continue to have a sense of humor as they work.

Moving Experience

Today is March 4, 2022. I contracted with Safe Ship Moving located in Florida in October 2021 to move us from Boise Idaho to Maine. Our Items were picked up by the movers on October 11, 2021 and taken to California. Our items were supposed to be delivered anywhere from 7-21 days. To make a long story short, the movers Safe Ship hired were thieves. The FBI has been involved investigating the movers for months. The FBI has found our items in Sacramento and we are in the process of working with them to get our belongings back. So far we have paid $13,167.00. I have asked Safe Ship to refund their part of the money. So far all we have received from them is promises they would go get our belongings since the end of January 2022, with the understanding that the rest of the contract be paid to them in the amount of $3,240.00. All information from them regarding our belongings has been as a result of me contacting them.

Moving

The worst moving experience I have ever had. The promises of low prices go out the window from the first estimate. More of a bait and switch tactic. Best if one just goes with a large moving company. The mover showed up at 2 pm with only one helper. The truck had no lift or ramps to put on a 4 wheeler. We had to search for a local ramp to load the 4 wheeler. It was an unsafe loading putting myself and others at risk. The first day was short only 3 hrs. The next day they showed up with two loaders. The foreman was none concerned about my property pretty much forcing things to fit. I was told the crew would disassemble things and then reassemble when destination was reached. I had to spend over 4 hours disassembling things myself. The mover left without a walk through leaving items behind which he had to turn around and return to pick them up. The mover wasn’t prepared for the move there was not enough blankets to cover things and I was charged for things that didn’t exist. For example a television box that was wrapped with my comforter. There seems to be two entities one has to deal with the brokers then the movers and the ones that have the final say is the mover which dictates the price. Then I found out it was not a point A the point B delivery but the load went to a hub to be handled again to be loaded onto a larger truck for delivery. I would highly recommend anybody moving would stay away from using this company. They are full of empty promises!
