S & M Relo LLC

I used S & M Relo LLC two days ago. They were on time, SO professional, wrapped everything diligently, and got everything into our new apartment perfectly! They are super honest too. One guy wasn't feeling well for part of the move so they only charged me for two workers during that time. I would have never known and they could have charged me more but didn't. That kind of integrity counts for A LOT these days. I'd give more stars if I could and I will definitely be using them again and recommending them to friends and family!

This was hands down the best experience I've ever had with movers. S & M Relo LLC moving team showed up on time and with masks. I unexpectedly needed quite a bit of packing help at the last minute and they made it happen with smiles and not a single eye roll or complaint. There were some issues with the building I moved into and there wasn't even the slightest irritation there even though it extended their work time quite a bit. I would 100% recommend S & M Relo LLC to anyone, especially if you need to move during this pandemic. You'll barely notice any of the inconveniences of moving.

We hired this company for a move from Iowa to New Mexico. Originally we wanted to drive the stuff ourselves, but they quoted us for movers and it was surprisingly affordable. Hindsight is 20/20. The NIGHT BEFORE the movers were supposed to arrive, the company called to tell us that actually it would cost us twice as much as the quote and that the movers would be there in the morning instead of late afternoon like we'd agreed to. This meant we had to stay up all night scrambling to finish the packing we thought we'd have at least most of the next day to finish. The movers arrived and told us that it would be even more expensive to fit all of our stuff which we had already accounted for at the first quote. To offset the cost, we ended up having to rent a separate moving truck that I then, last minute, had to drive 17 hours instead of swapping off turns in the one vehicle we had planned to take. Once we made it to New Mexico, our stuff didn't show up in the 4-5 days they told us it would take. As the weeks went on, we tried calling but they just told us our stuff was in a warehouse somewhere in Iowa, which we had no idea they were going to do because they very clearly told us 4-5 days. This meant we had to cycle through the same few outfits we'd packed for the drive and spend hundreds on household necessities and food since we didn't have anything to cook with. They kept our stuff for over a month. When it finally got here, the truck couldn't fit in our driveway and the person on the phone told us we would have to rent another moving truck, drive to another location, load the stuff from their truck into ours, and then drive it back and unpack it all ourselves. We went back and forth until we finally got the driver to park beside the driveway and then we ended up unloading things with him. Finally, we had our stuff but then we realized that we had things missing including pieces of furniture, bathroom items, and a sewing machine I've had since high school. AND that they'd given us someone else's tote full of kitchen items. Since then we've called and emailed many times trying to return this person's stuff and get our missing stuff back, but they ignore us. My savings were wiped by this move and now they've lost our things and we didn't even get half of the service we paid for. Please do not ever use this company.

Also, if you moved with this infernal company sometime around May-July 2021 and are missing kitchen items, contact me because it might be yours and I'd like to get it back to its home.

This was the best moved I've ever experienced and I've moved A LOT. They were on time, efficient, helpful, and nothing was broken or damaged, not even a scratch. Friendly guys, asked where we wanted everything, were willing to relocate things when necessary. Quicker than I could've imagined and the price was fair and worth every penny. Will never move with anyone else. I highly recommend this company, you won't regret it. I can't believe I'm saying this because I didn't think it was possible, but this move was totally stress-free. Five stars!!

INITIAL ESTIMATE WAS $8200 AND BY WHEN OUR STUFF WAS ON THE TRUCK THEY CALLED AND DEMANDED OVER $10,000 - INN THE END OUR MOOVE ENDED UP COSTING UP OVER $16,000!!

WE WERE TOLD OUR STUFF WOULD BE DELIVERED BY 10/9 ND IT DID NOT SHOW UP UNTIL 10/25

ALMOST ALL OF OUR STUFF IS DAMAGED OR MISSING... BIG ITEMS LIKE THE LARGE HEADBOARD TO OUR KING SIZE BED... ALL 3 OF OUR MATRRESSESM- KING MATTRESS, FILL SIZE MATTRESS AND BABY CRIB MATTRESS - OUR BABY'S CRIB IS MISSING - SO FAR I AM AT OVER $10K IN DAMAGES TO THE ITEMS THAT DID ACTUALLY SHOW UP.

WHEN WE WOUD CALL FOR STATUS OR TO DISCUSS CONCERNS, WE WERE LAUGHED AT OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

I CAUGHT THE PEOPLE LOADING OUR STUFF SMOKING CIGARETTES AND MARAJUANA IN MY HOME.

THE PEOPLE THAT SHOWED UP TO UNLOAD WERENT MUCH BETTER IN CALIBER. ONE OF THEM SPENT OVER AN HOUR IN OUR BATHROOM THEN ASKED IF WE WERE GOING TO BE GIVING ANY OF OUR POSSESSIONS AWAY - THEN ASKED IF WE PLANNED TO TIP THEM...

THE COMPANY MISCALCULATED THE CUBIC FEET AND WEIGHT BUT REFUSED TO CORRECT IT.

THIS COMPANY OPERATES AS IF IT HAS NO CONSEQUENCES FOR IT'S NEGLIGENT ACTIONS. STEER CLEAR IF YOU VALUE YOUR SANITY!

MY HUSBAND HAD TO GO TO THE ER THE DAY AFTER OUR STUFF WAS DROPPED OFF BECAUSE OF CHEST PAINS - TURNS OUT THIS CAUSED A PANIC ATTACK AND NOW HE NEEDS TO BE MEDICATED. HE IS A TOUGH GUY BUT THIS WHOLE EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN A LIVING NIGHTMARE - WE ARE STILL ASSESSING DAMAGES :(

On oct 10th we hired s & m relo to move our belonging from ohio to florida.was quoted a price of 1800 when then truckers got to my house . they said i needed 6 boxes appox 2ft by 4ft which they charged me 264.00. then said the load took up another 100 sq ft. charge 564.27. On oct18th they delivered the load to florida.over 2000.00 in damage and they lost the 6 boxes i paid for 1200.00 in losses. they after 6 mouths with there fake insurance co. they offered me 50.00. do not use this company. or you will have alot of headaches.

I have been using their service for 2 years. A few weeks ago I contacted with them and got a business moving service. It was not high rate. Was affordable for my office. I went to their office to renew my membership. They are very active. Every time they fulfilled my all request. On move day, they started packing office furniture from half past nine. They also applied wrapper and boxes. Numbered all of the boxes. Carrying and loading was hard task but they did it an innovative way. They dropped all stuffs in timely fashion. Helped us to fix the furniture in right place at new premises. I always recommend S & M Relo LLC to my all customers and relatives. Please keep it up.

We recently used S & M Relo LLC and had a great experience. S & M Relo LLC crews were very professional and very careful with all of our furniture and boxes. They put pads on the floors and padding on the doors for extra protection of our things being moved. They also put blankets over the furniture to ensure safe traveling. There was not one thing damaged. They moved our entire house full of things in a timely manner. I spoke with at least 5 different moving companies before choosing this company and I am so glad we did. We would definitely use them for our next move!

We used S & M Relo LLC for move from our 6,600 square foot house in Atlanta for a move into temporary living quarters in Roswell. From the beginning, they were above the other moving companies with which I have used in the past. They provided a real personal touch that made us feel as though our valued items would be in good hands. They were on time, professional, moved the goods with great care. No damage, no mistakes, courteous and professional throughout. Everything you would want from a moving company and more.

S & M Relo LLC did a great job with my belongings. Everything was packed very nicely and made it there safely. I thought I would need storage because I didn't have my apartment leased when I needed to move out, last minute I got an apartment and the movers were very flexible and sent my stuff straight away. Ended up being a very pleasant experience. I would like to thank everyone in the office who was willing to answer my questions and were very nice every time I called.

I moved from Georgia to Nevada to be with my wife. S & M Relo LLC was there for me every step of the way. It was refreshing to have a company and their employees be so generous and helpful. They really bettered my experience with moving across the country. They took great care of my furniture, especially my glass coffee table. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of service and the affordable price of $3000. The delivered all my belongs ON TIME and they followed my instructions to the smallest and simplest detail. If I ever have to move again I am calling S & M Relo LLC.

The broker gave us a quote but this company arrived the day we had to move and more than doubled the previous quote while they already had part of the things in the truck. The men picking up told us they wouldn't charge storage until the date that we asked for the furniture but then charged $700 for one month of storage. The delivery people told us they were the 4th truck that had handled the move, it went from truck to truck 4 times. We were told we were required to pay the final balance in cash or a post office money order but the delivery men called and said they needed it in cash, and it was about $2,700 - in cash. Several things were broken or dirty. No exaggerations here, facts are just stated.

I hired S&M Relo LLC to move me from Minneapolis, MN to New York City. I was charged ~$5,000 in total, and the experience was awful.

1.) I was misquoted. I was told initially that the total price would be closer to $3,500. But, when the movers arrived at my building in Minneapolis, they increased the price due to a "long walk".

2. S&M Relo lost many of my possessions including the base to an antique couch. I do understand losing small items, but losing big items, such as a couch, does not make sense.

3. The total value of the items that S&M lost was about $1,200. In the insurance settlement, I was offered $65.

It was a very disappointing experience and I would recommend that you find a different company.

I used a broker and they had S & M Relo come and pick up my items. They lost several of my items which totaled over $4000 and I was offered $50 as my settlement. I was never offered full insurance. I was pressured into using them!!!

The driver brought our items and had an inventory checklist which was not complete. How do you leave a warehouse without all the items!!!

They lost My brand new $2900 king size mattress, a midcentury modern mirror valued at $1000 ( belonging to my parents' bedroom set and is priceless to me) and I had to stay in a hotel for an additional 10 days $700 while they confirmed my items were lost.

DO NOT EVER USE THEM!!!

I ALSO FEEL LIKE WE WERE ROBBED AND MY NEW MATTRESS IS IN SOMEONE'S HOME!!! BUT IT IS NOT IN MINE!!!

My only complaint is that they were late picking up my items. But they had great communication with what was going on! Explained to me that their previous job ran longer than expected, and kept me up to date on the new pick up window as well as gave me the number for the driver and dispatcher in case I needed to reach out/had additional questions.

When the guys showed up, they were extremely professional and handled my items with care! We had two pick up locations, and they worked so quickly/efficiently. Since I did not want to pay extra for a specific drop off date, the lead was super nice about letting me know the options and what kind of timeframe for drop off I was looking at. When an opportunity to get my items dropped off earlier than expected came up, they reached out and we were able to get that handled!

This was my first time having a long distance move by myself, and they took away alot of my stress! If I have to move again, then I will definitely be using them again!

Move size: Studio Service cost: $1510

So I signed a contract with a different company for moving. They then gave me this company for my moving. I guess first my fault for not knowing they contract it out. Well the movers came when they were suppose to. But I had to wait for over two hours to get a new contract and be able for them to even move our things. Then I had my things in storage and I want them release. Well instead of honoring my 47 cents per cubic feet they put the price up to a dollar. So now it’s 2.5 times more expensive than what I was quoted. The owner is a huge jerk and I would never use this company ever again. Go to a big corporation that is up front and doesn’t try to swindle you after making you wait hours and put it up. Even the mover who I sat with for two hours gave me a quote how it was only gonna be $400 for storage...now it’s almost $800 for one month of storage!! Again never use this horribly ran company who doesn’t care about the consumer only money.

We recently hired S & M Relo LLC to help us move our stuff out before the renovations started. From the very beginning their staff was friendly and helpful. They answered all my questions and reassured me that, even though many companies were shutting down because of COVID-19, the movers would be there. The guys showed up on time, were fast, efficient, friendly, and extremely professional. We couldn't be happier and will certainly call them again when it's time to move back in. I highly recommend S & M Relo LLC!

The first point of contact with S & M Relo LLC is wonderful. Never having worked with professional movers previously he walked me through everything they would need to know to assist us best and made a wonderful first impression. On the day of the move our movers made the move seamless. They called to say they'd arrived, were super respectful of our condo building and made for good company while moving our furniture. Having a few special wood pieces, they were diligent on protecting everything from any potential damage during transfer. The whole move happened quickly thanks to Sam and Ty working efficiently. My husband and I kept saying after the move was complete that it was the best money we'd ever spent. S & M Relo LLC is excellent!

This company was a third party to my moving company and shipped my items across the country. There was horrible miscommunication with the primary company, Top Country Moving, where not only was I overcharged but was assured a specific period for delivery time that was not accurate causing me a huge inconvenience leaving me about 10 days without any of my items. S&M Relo showed up and was very kind initially helping me move my items inside my new apartment. I paid extra in tip because I sympathized with their business during covid times and appreciated their work. I communicated with the driver after my things were delivered about missing items. I have text and phone conversation with the driver who confirmed these items still on the truck and would deliver them the following day after another job. We communicated the following day to determine a time the truck would be by to bring me the rest of my items, however the driver Isaiah stopped responding to calls and text and essentially "ghosted". I followed up with Top Country in regards to this and it seemed they were handling the problem and found that my items were delivered to a warehouse in a different state and that I would receive them within 2 weeks time - we even confirmed the item missing with a photo on my end. I checked in and each time I was given the same response - that the truck will be on its way to me at anytime. Two weeks go by and the company then says I should check with S&M (never did they mention this earlier). I call S&M and they tell me my things were never brought to a warehouse and i was lied to. I was very frustrated and disrespected with my time spent waiting patiently for my items. They told me I had to file a claim. I filed a claim against them reporting my missing items and damage to my sofa upon delivery. File goes through and I only receive $50 for my pain and suffering and missing items and damaged sofa that should be closer to $500. I even purchased insurance through the company prior to my move! I am furious with them and attempting to dispute this claim and still have not heard back from the company. I also made a complaint to customer service of Top County and they do not respond and their reps are extremely disrespectful and unsympathetic. I HOPE THIS REACHES MANY OF YOU TO NEVER USE TOP COUNTRY OR S&M RELO FOR THEIR AWFUL SERVICE.
