Amazing company.

My search for movers ended after a few weeks as a great success and im eternally grateful for quality express van lines because you guys know what you are doing. You've relocated hundreds of people (according to you) and each time has been a success so that tells something to me. Without your expert services, I know our move would be a lot more difficult.

Wonderful company.

If you are unsure about which movers to go with, ill tell you right now that quality express van line is a choice you will not regret. We were really happy with their efforts at making our move a complete success. I don't have enough good things to say because it would literally take all day. As a company that provides an honest service, they are top of the line in this regard!

Best Company Ever!!

I needed a mover on short notice and these guys were the first ones that popped up when I searched online. We now finished moving and their services were excellent. I am happy to leave a glowing recommendation as they 100% deserve it. The pricing could have been a little better, we were quoted lower by a couple places, but those take longer to deliver.

Moving Company.

Excellent from beginning to end, we are super impressed with your work! The movers are very knowledgable about how to keep your things safe and sound throughout the whole relocation. We were not stressed or worried at all about the safety of your things throughout the whole process. I give you an A+ if this was a grade, as a teacher I know what im talking about :-).

Dishonest company/fake reviews.

I was contacted by someone who works at this company to write a fake review for $15 and didn't get paid, I guess that's what I get for being dishonest too. Don't believe all their reviews, THEY ARE FAKE REVIEWS!

Long-distance move from Rochester, NY to Atlanta, GA

Amazing company.

We moved a mansion so I knew it wasn't going to be easy. The complex undertaking took many hours of work for the moving crew and I appreciate their dedication to this move. They came with a group of 4 guys and worked into the late afternoon. Delivery took two weeks as promised -- overall I am very satisfied and happy with what you guys provided us.

Long-distance move from Wisconsin to New York

Lack of customer service and hidden costs.

To be honest (outside of the delivery crew), I was not happy with this experience at all. There was a miscommunication from the start between the price I was quoted from Quality Express Vans and additional charges that were specified from the actual company that delivered my stuff (from Wisconsin to NYC, it was transferred to a different truck). In an effort to get clarification on this, I reached out to Steve from Quality Express Vans. Once my initial deposit payment was made, I never received a response from Quality Express Vans again. It is clear that once they received payment and secured my business, there was no effort to continue customer service of any kind.

We initially asked for a 2/20 or 2/21 delivery date. Though I understand a specific date cannot by guaranteed, I was informed that it "shouldn't" be a problem. When I was informed that delivery would not occur until 2/24 or 2/25, I was disappointed but understood. Then I received a call on Monday stating that the delivery would be arriving on 2/25. I took off work and sat in an empty apartment all day waiting for this delivery. I received a call late afternoon that it would be 2-3 more days. I expressed my disappointment in this over the phone.

I was told multiple times (for both expected delivery dates), that the driver would call when they were close. On 2/26 and 2/27, I received a call stating that the driver would call when they were near my apartment. I even clarified this on the 2/27 call and was asked how much advance notice I would want. I asked for 30 minutes, which would allow me to tend to a work matter and get to the apartment in time. When the driver called, they were at the apartment. He stated that he never received the instruction to call beforehand.

Because of the poor service, it cost me multiple additional nights in a hotel room, as well as additional days off of work. I have used moving companies multiple times and have never encountered these issues before. Sadly, I will not be using your services again.

I would like to make it clear that I have nothing but positive things to say about the driver and delivery crew - they were great and I would work with them again in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the rest of my experience.

They Are Scammers!!

They lied to my father and told him that they had their own trucks and crew, and that the owner "Jason Carlucci" was giving my dad a great deal because he has stage 4 cancer and was moving up north to be close with his kids. My dad was hesitant to go with them but after telling my dad that his father died the same way and he (Jason) being a "true christian" would give him a great deal making little money on the job in order to do a Christ like thing. He gave my dad a quote for $2200.00. I paid for the deposit to help my dad in these hard times. Jason called me and said what a great son I was and how he respected me for helping my father in such a way and wished us the best..ALL LIES!! He took the $800.00 and when nobody had called my dad two days before the move to schedule the exact pick up time my dad began to call around and was unable to find "Jason". The "customer service rep" called my dad and said she would get a driver to contact him. The next day a man called and said the price would be at least $6500.00 on TOP OF THE BROKERS FEE WHICH WOULD BE THE $2,200.00!! They would not refund the money to me and laughed at me on the phone saying my dad should have never signed their contract. I had to buy a plane ticket and rent a U-HAUL with my brother and drive him up myself. They are the absolute scum of the earth and are awaiting a long eternal punishment. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE! THEY ARE satan's CHILDREN!!

Prepare to be lied to left and right.

I have no idea what they are paying mymovingreviews.com to keep them as highly rated as it shows. I trusted this website with their review when the sales rep at Quality (John Williams - grade A scumbag) told me this review was more accurate.

This was a huge nightmare and it looks like my experience was similar to so many others. John Williams encouraged me to keep my inventory list low telling me things like clothing in bags didn't count. Michael Ross informed me otherwise and my quote rose 75% (luckily they found "discounts" that made it only 50% higher than was promised).

My wife has an auto-immune disorder so before we signed I asked when the items were to be delivered -she can't sleep on the ground. John Williams and Michael Ross told me that they do 500 miles/day - so only 3-5 days.

After being upsold, misquoted, and not speaking to dispatch until the day of themove I finally was introduced to my carrier. 1.3 stars on this very website across 15 reviews for upsells and being unreliable. I asked for a different carrier, had to work with some truly horrible customer service reps who wouldn't put anything in writing or tell me the name of their supervisors, and then was told my stuff might arrive within 2 weeks.

That wasn't acceptable so I called John Williams (no answer, didn't answer texts) and then Michael Ross (texted me to talk to customer service) and nobody was there to help.

ADVICE: FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T USE THIS COMPANY.

There is no recourse for them - they collect your account and routing numbers so you can't deny the charges or file a claim. Have to take them all the way to claims court to get your money back.

Long-distance move from Acworth, GA to Jemison, AL

Fraud Warning This is Not a Moving Company.

My 72 year old mother is currently sleeping on the floor because this unethical company lies to consumers. I was never told they were a brokerage and my move would be contracted out with 21 days allowed for delivery. I made it clear this was to be a same day delivery and was not told the truth until they were there, 2 hours late, to pick up her things. I have never been treated so poorly by a company. The cost has more than tripled from the original estimate and no one can tell me when things will be delivered. This was a 150 mile move that I believed would be completed in one day. I also still had to rent a truck for the boxes and move them myself, to avoid the price going even higher. Thank God I did, or she would have nothing until they decide to show up. There should be laws against business practices like these. There is a special place for anyone who would support these business practices, but I am too polite to say where. Be forewarned; they will rip you off and treat you like dirt while they do it. Negative stars should be an option for service this bad. Poor is the understatement of the century. If you took the time to read this, please share it with anyone you love. This has honestly been the worst experience of my life and if I can spare anyone else from going through this kind of heart break I would.

Do not give them your money.

There is nothing quality or express about this company. We were told many things by the sales person that were not true. The price changes 50% after you sign and give them a deposit. Our move date was may 29, they still haven't showed up 2 days later. Still waiting. Once you give them a deposit you are screwed. You have no recourse. They have no obligation to move you on the dates they state.

Terrible, Dishonest company, liers.

Their sales teams severely underestimated the quote (talked me down on size, weight, quantities etc.) and verbally told me things included that were not (mattress covers, no charges for carry distance, no special crating..there was). Said there would be 4 men on each end of move..only 2 each end (only 1 of them could speak broken english, the other not at all). Said they only use 4 main carriers..only to find that those 4 carriers then sub out the move . They broke a chair leg, broke a leg off a locker/cubbie, severely damaged an expensive buffet table and dresser. Quoted $3900, move ended up costing $8100. I was trapped and had no choice but to pay as I HAD to move at that time. This company should be put out of business. Dishonest. Terrible. Stay Away.

Poor Estimators and Scam of a Company.

We were passed from Budget Van Lines to Quality Express Van Lines. Charged $1,500 just to pass us along to another actual moving company, after they told us they were the moving company we would be with.

We over estimated with them, but even though I gave the gallon size of the box they did not correctly do the size boxes I told them we would have. So what started as them telling us it would cost about $1,500 for our move, become $6,858.69. That's after we sold a ton of our stuff on the estimation.

They led us to believe that packing up was part of the charges, it was not with the company they passed us on to and we were hourly.

So in the end with the moving company they passed us onto we had an expensive skillet ruined, a high end sports chair lost/stolen, and feeling scammed. And they just say it is not their fault, we estimated poorly.

Don't trust them unless you have thousands to throw away.

Excellent.

I must say that your movers pleasantly surprised me. For some reason I had a feeling there would be problems along the way, but everything went perfectly. Sometimes I have a gut feeling about certain situations and I’m usually right.. so I was absolutely pleasantly surprised when my gut was proven wrong this time!! What I enjoyed the most is the pricing because we saved a good couple hundred bucks from the next closest estimate.

Avoid at All Costs – Liars, Liars, Liars.

This has been the most horrific experience of my life. Quality Express, misquoted me by circa $800 dollars, they promised me a delivery of 4-7 days, they are now saying 16 not confirmed, could be longer. I am now living on the floor of an empty apartment with a one year old, clothes enough for a week, no belongings in a city I have never been to. My wife is crying every day, my child is not sleeping and this has cost us hundreds of extra dollars to buy belongings just to survive, from time wasted calling in, hounding this company to get answers and this has pushed my family over the edge, financially and emotionally. I was LIED TO SO MANY TIMES BY THIS BUSINESS, the customer service was atrocious, they even admitted multiple times to (with no apology) to lying. We based our move on the data they gave us, and we are now in a hopeless situation.

NOT A MOVING COMPANY

DO NOT LET THEM SEND YOU PACKRITE MOVERS!!

This company is not a moving company. They are brokers who quote you with an eye catching to good to be true estimate. They then turn around and hire a moving company called PACKRITE MOVERS that has hundreds of 1 star reviews about being over charged. They hire this company because they are the cheapest option and don’t care about their customer since they have already gotten their non refundable deposit. After the moving company quoted me DOUBLE than what the brokers quoted me (even though I took less furniture than was estimated because I sold some) the brokers did absolutely nothing to fight for me. They would maybe be a good company if they actually knew who they were hiring. I told them about the terrible reviews PACKRITE MOVERS has and they had no idea. Avoid Like The Coronavirus They Use to Scam You!

This company is despicable and should be put out of business as a safeguard to all consumers for the following reasons. This was my personal experience with this company starting in July of 2020:

1. They lied and said that they are not moving brokers when they are in fact brokers

2. They took thousands of dollars of my money and then used the pandemic as an excuse for their inability to perform their services. They will not offer a refund.

3. They are not communicative at all and refuse to EVER commit to a date. This is a HUGE red flag. EVERYTHING is a window. They say your move date is a “window” and then push it back indefinitely. At last count they pushed my move back 3 times, 2 of which they did not contact me. No phone call, email or text message even when they assured me over the phone that they would call.

4. They left me and my family (with 2 little kids) hanging ON A CROSS COUNTRY MOVE with no apology. There is a person who works there who pretends to be multiple people and is a total fraud. He told me his name was Bob West but his voice mail said “Mike H” and when I called he said “Bob is not here.” It was obviously the same person. They do not respect their customers.

5. Their prices are astronomically high. I was able to get white glove moving service with a personal concierge for the same price with less than a week notice after Quality Express van lines ghosted me.

If you see any positive reviews of this company on here I would take it with a HUGE grain of salt. They are totally incompetent and deceitful.

They are neither Quality nor Express and will take your money knowing or at least indifferent to the fact that they cannot fulfill their end of the deal.

Worst Experience Ever!

We were in a desperate situation and they took advantage of that.

First off, they charged an arm and a leg to just help me find a mover (the person I chatted with made me think they themselves were the mover - they are NOT, they are just the BROKER who takes money from old people). Secondly, I paid them almost $3,000 only for them to set me up with a absolutely AWFUL moving company. I was moving from Illinois, and they set me up with a moving company out of Ohio (S & M RELO LLC - DON'T USE THEM) who was extremely unprofessional. Makes no sense. Third, after the moving company lost a number of my items, and then damaged the rest, I tired to file a claim with movingclaims.net and it is IMPOSSIBLE to actually talk with a real person to help through the claim processes.

MOVERS BEWARE!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO HELP YOU! They will take advantage of whatever situation you are in.

Scam - never showed up, refused refund.

On 6-2-20 I scheduled a move with Quality Express Van Lines job number QE4291331 for pickup date of 7-25-20 to 7-26-2020, customer rep Josephb. I was asked to pay 50% down ($1582.79). On 7-21 I received a call verifying all contents of move and was asked to pay additional $559.26 for items added. I called on 7-23 to confirm pickup date and time. I was informed they would be reaching out to me on Friday. I called again on Friday, 7-24, and was told they would call me when the driver was 30min out. I called again on both the 25 and 26th, and spoke to several different customer service reps and told multiple different stories. One told me that I was moving during peak moving season so delays were expected. One told me that due to the global pandemic, unforeseen delays occurred. One told me that due to where I lived in NM, that movers were refusing to go into houses due to COVID. I continued to call them 1-2x a day every day, until a dispatcher called me and told me they set a new date for Monday Aug 3rd. He informed me that the guy that was supposed to pickup my belongings came down with COVID and that they were flying in a crew specifically for NM and that I would be the first on on the truck on August 3rd. I informed them my house was closing Aug 2nd, but could ask for a one day extension, however it would HAVE to be picked up on Monday the 3rd. I was assured this would happen. Monday came and went with no call from the company and no show. I called the company again several times that day and the following 3 days. One day I was allowed to speak with a dispatcher, however he told me to not call back again and wait for them to reach out to me. Each day I called I asked to speak to a dispatcher and they told me I wasn't allowed to and that I needed to speak to the customer service reps. The customer service reps I spoke to gave me the run around every day. Every day they promised me that dispatch was creating the route that day and they would be reaching out to me by the end of the day with a new date and time, and every day no one called and no one showed up. On Thursday Aug 6th I called 3 times and spoke to 3 different people. The last time I spoke with George, who claimed to be one of the supervisors. He told me that dispatch was working on a route and they would reach out to me when they finalized the route. I told him my house was closing next week, and considering it's Thursday and they still have not provided the service I paid for to be provided almost 2 weeks ago, that I would like a refund. He informed me that per their policy, they do not issue refunds under any circumstances. He then asked "if we got you on a truck tomorrow, would you use the services or are you cancelling the move and forfeiting your deposit?" I told him that every person I've spoken to has promised me that exact same thing every single day for 12 days and they have not delivered. I simply want a refund. He continued to tell me they were coming tomorrow, although he had told me right after getting off with dispatch that they didn't have a date or time set. He told me he was sending me a cancellation email and hung up the phone without resolution. I believe this company is a fraudulent company taking money from customers and not delivering on the service that was paid for.

Terrible experience!

I was told the mover would arrive on a Tuesday. When I called, I found the truck was 400 miles away. I checked later in the afternoon and it was still 400 miles away. Quality, which is a broker and not a van line, found another mover. A young man arrived on Tuesday evening to give an estimate, which was much, much, much higher than the over-the-phone estimate. He promised a truck would be there at 8 a.m. I called, and the truck he had "reserved" at Penske truck rentals (they don't have their own trucks) had been given to someone else. Then he had to drive all over the city looking for a hand truck. He finally arrived at 2:30, unprepared to move my piano, which was on the original estimate. When he had moved everything else, I had to get in my car and drive to the local supermarket where he found a stranger in the parking lot willing to help him and his assistant (found at Home Depot and not an employee) move the piano. Now I find that the delivery date might be 21 working days after the day I wanted my furniture delivered. Horrible company!
