Long-distance move from Fayetteville, NC to Everett, WA

Cost was double the original estimate!

This is a scam! They purposely under quoted the estimate and get you locked in on a price. When they called for the final review of all items being shipped the price of course was increased. Then the movers showed up and the amount of cubic square feet was doubled what I was given by them on the phone and it was either pay it, leave behind half my belongings or the movers (S&M Relo) would leave and I’d be out my deposit. Then after arriving at my new home was told by S&M Relo that the driver has up to 30 days to deliver so now I have to pay for a hotel until they arrive. I was not given a specific date as to when my belongings would arrive only an estimate of 3-7 days. They hadn’t even left the storage facility 6 days after they picked up.

DO NOT USE THEM

First off they told me they weren't a broker, that they own their own trucks, and have their own movers. LIES!! These guys catastrophically underestimated my cubic feet when the movers came they wanted 4k MORE than the 6500 agreed on. I asked for all my money back but they said the 3k deposit is nonrefundable. So I paid 6500 to have half of my belongings moved and now I rented a trailer to bring the rest of my stuff from Alabama to Colorado. These guys should be in jail for scamming people at such a stressful time.

PRIORITY HOME RELOCATION LLC is SCAM Company Read more at: https://ww

PRIORITY HOME RELOCATION LLC is SCAM Company. They are run by con artists who seats and come up with an idea to extort money from hard-working people. They will feed you with lies and all that you want to hear and after picking up my things, you will never see them again. They will keep giving you the round around until you pay all the extra amount of money they demand from you and then if you are lucky, you'll see your things. To begin with, they are not a moving company, they are a broker which means they have no say in what you pay, they will give you a price but they will make you believe that they are a moving company. They are nothing but thieves and scammers. Today marks exactly 2 months after my stuff was picked up in Washington state and after paying all the money they demanded I am yet to receive my things. I have been using an air mattress for the last two months and it's giving back pain simply because I am waiting for my stuff to be delivered. Every time I call they tell me " Dispatch will get in touch with me which is all lies. If they promise you any discount due to the delay don't believe them because they have no say in the amount you would be paying, once the actual moving company delivers your things and that's A BIG IF then they will tell you how much to pay. Bait and Switch!

This company traps you in on a cheap estimate when you call and give them a list of the items you are moving. They gave me this to good to be true offer. Where I paid a deposit upfront. They then called me a few days from my pick up date to then up my contract amount asking for more money. I then paid to them to again have the price increased when they loaded all our stuff up. Which I had the money for the second agreed amount and had to Venmo the difference to them. The guys moving my stuff did not let me know a day when my stuff would be at our new house so we called the office several times from our pick up date with being told they would call us back with that information cause it’s sitting in a warehouse in the original state. This went on for over a week. The truck just showed up at our new house with no heads up. They were lucky I was home! Where again they tried upping the price another $400. I refused since I have a signed contract with the end amount after being upped three times. They made it seem like they were doing a good dead and “writing it off” but after being upped three times prior that does not make up for this horrible experience. The communication sucked. The professionalism was horrible. I would never recommend this company not even to my worst enemy. -100/10 experience. Please see the other reviews I’m not the only one.

An absolutely disgusting and abhorrent acam

Without exaggeration, the worst experience dealing with a business ever. Without a lot of details, what this company does is essentially farm and outsource each part of the process to increasingly shadier and more dishonest businesses. The fact that a business like this is allowed to operate is a travesty. Stay away, but if you do end up with them for whatever reason, be ready to document everything for a lawsuit. Nastiest outfit this side of the equator. Human scum.

Just move yourself

Worse experience! Was promised multiple multiple things, none of it was true. Cost went up $2000 two days before the move then another $2000 more the day of the move. Which made it impossible to take a different route. I've now got damaged, and missing items. Yet can not get in contact with anyone to make a claim. At this point I will be contacting a lawyer. First request to speak to management was the 14th of April. As of now I still haven't got the chance to. Oh I was also charge for 1500 ft of space, yet only took 1000 ft of space. Best wishes to everyone relocating.

I wish I would have read this before using

Definition of TERRIBLE service. This company had a sales person promise me so many lies that they couldn't get out of it. They claim all of the calls are recorded so I told them to listen to it to prove my point! They agreed to refund me my security deposit on 3/1/21, and today (5/12/21) after SEVERAL calls to 2 managers Anna (promised to call me back SEVERAL times and didn't do it) and to Amanda (never called me back either), I STILL do not have my $641.85! It has been sitting on my credit card gaining interest!

They at first promised that they would refund my card from 3/1/21 to 4/22/21. Never happened. On 4/22/21, Karen in customer service told me that the refund kept showing "pending" so they would mail a check to me the following day. I called yesterday, yet again, and they had no explanation yet told me that Amanda would call me same day. DIDN'T HAPPEN.

This is a crime. Of course they don't have social media or any contact info on their website to complain, clearly it happens with them too much. And they have a F on Better Business Bureau. I wish I would have done more research. DO NOT USE!

Scam Company

Please Please stay away from this company. I hired them to move my stuff on April 12 to pick my things up April 23rd to deliver to North Carolina from New Jersey. I was dealing with this scumbag Lucas Herwig. Who told me same day delivery or the latest next day which would of been April 24th. Now the contract says 2 to 15 business days. But Lucas assured me that same delivery or next day was absolutely possible. But I didn't receive me things until May 13th which would be technically 20 days. This is a horrible company they never check up on you, customer service is very nasty. When I received my things from Liberty Moving Company who they outsourced to deliver my things, things were missing, bedroom set was not how we shipped it originally, dining rooms chairs had stains on them now we have to throw in the garbage. We will be filing a claim against the company. Please stay away from them they will tell you anything to get your money

Long-distance move from San Rafael, CA to Port Saint Lucie, FL

Priority Home Relocation is a RIP OFF!

If there were a MINUS five star rating experience, that is what Priority Home would be receiving from us.

Let's start at the beginning.

* We entered into a legal contract with Priority Home Relocation in January of 2021 to move 545 cubic feet of furnishings and personal items from California to Florida.

* Matt Lanzaro was the representative for Priority Home that entered into this contract with us to move our belongings. He gave us his direct dial and assured us he would be with the company for a long time.

* The agreed total price to move our property was $3,202.24.

* The move was originally scheduled for April 14 to 15 but we had to delay the move until May 20 to 21.

* Three days prior to the move we were contacted by Anna representing Priority Home who requested we send her a more complete list and photos of boxes, furnishings and automobile body panels to be shipped. We sent the list and photos without delay.

* One day before the scheduled move Anna contacted us to inform us that Priority Home would not move our property at the agreed upon price of $3,202.24.

* In classic “Bait and Switch” practice, Anna informed us that the price would now be $9,100 but in their kindness and generosity to us, Priority Home would discount their now required crating of the auto body panels by $1,500 to bring the total cost of the move to $7,600.

* When I asked Anna how Priority Home could simply ignore a legal and binding contract her response was that Matt Lanzaro no longer worked for Priority Home therefore they did not have to honor the contract. I had to educate Anna how a contract functions with or without the original legal company representative who entered into the contract with us.

* We told Anna that we would not agree to what amounted to a shakedown timed so that we would be in desperation and Priority Home's criminal thinking that we would be willing to pay their shameful demand.

* At this point in the conversation with Anna we requested that our deposit of $831.48 be immediately refunded to us. Anna refused to refund our deposit as she said Priority Home does not issue refunds. We informed Anna that we would be ready, willing and able to spend far in excess of $831.48 to have our day in court with Priority Home. After a brief place on hold Anna came back on the phone to inform us that we would be receiving a complete refund within 7 days which did occur.

* In summary we fulfilled all aspects of the contract up to the point where Priority Home refused to perform their part. Priority Home fulfilled no part of their contract.

The few 5 star reviews have to be fake!

This company is not worth anything. Customer service is non-existent. Upon booking they told me that a delivery date would be set by driver at pick up. Was pressured into booking for a tentative date, which I then had to change. My account wasn't updated and a truck was almost sent on the wrong day.

On loading day, a contract is emailed to me (while I'm still packing and getting stuff together because the truck showed up 5 hours early.) Due to being busy, I didn't get to it right away. A very rude woman called and demanded I sign it immediately. That is when I see that the delivery date MAY be up to 30 days out!! I had no choice but to go ahead at that point...

Stuff is loaded, crew was nice. Paid in cash and was told I needed to contact the office for a receipt, which I did. They told me a receipt will be provided at delivery with the final payment. I also didn't get a copy of my inventory. Nor did I ever get a signed copy of the contract (Bill of Lading.)

I NEVER was contacted with any updates. I had to call and was told bs to shut me up every time. The 30 days has come and gone, called again. Now there's an issue with the truck and driver! Are you serious!? My belongings were picked up 4/19, this is 6/2. I'm now being told that hopefully the truck will come the end of next week. HOPEFULLY! I'm told I will be compensated, but the exact amount is to be determined because they still don't have a date for delivery.

My family is sleeping on the floor, we have very few dishes and clothes, we have no furniture, and I've had to re-buy things we can't do without.

At this point, I can only pray that my stuff actually comes and that it's in good shape and is put together per the agreement.

BEWARE - STAY AWAY

DO NOT USE. FRAUDULENT. Placed ~$950 deposit for move 2 months out. Due to circumstance, ended up cancelling bc move was not going to happen. Called to Cancel, was told 7-10 bus days. Called after 8 for a status update, and then told 10-15 bus days to receive refund. It's now been 18 business days and no refund received. I called day 16 and they said to give them a day. Called Day 18 and they put me to accounting VM. Day 16 I got a letter finally from them confirming I cancelled. And forced to leave voicemail for accounting, who never called me back. Called the company at 5p on a Friday, automated recording said their office was closed and were open M-F 9a until 8p EST...it was only 5p...something is wrong with this place. Lesson learned. DO NOT USE. THEY'RE A SCAM! Representative Trevor lied about being able to get a refund. All the other women I spoke to have been unhelpful and standoff-ish, except one, Sherry. She is the one that sent me cancellation letter. It took me over a month to get my money back and after I reported to BBB and disputed charge with my bank, miraculously, after FINALLY getting the Accounting lady on the phone who could not return a phone call, she pushed a button and "MAGIC", I received the funds within a day or two. It was such an effort to get back and should not have been that difficult, especially the way Trevor talked up the company and that if services weren't used and I cancelled in plenty of time, they'd "just refund my deposit". One month, and a dozen calls later, a dispute with bank and report filed with BBB money was finally returned. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Wretched

We had a change in plans and had to cancel our move. The contract says you can get a full refund if you cancel 72 hours before your move. We canceled a month before the scheduled move.

I spoke to a supervisor because I was canceling. He put in the hard sell to postpone the move instead of cancel. I asked for my money back per the contact. Then he challenged my masculinity and integrity. I was simply exercising the contact they created.

Now I can called 8 times to get my refund processed and it is still not done. They have $4000+ of my money and they won't even let me talk to the accounting department or a supervisor.

I will continue to call and try to get my money back. They have promised to have the accounting department call me which has never happened.

Next step might be going to BBB or a lawyer.

I highly recommend you choose a different carrier.

Misleading and untrustworthy moving service - scam from the start

I’m writing this review to help good people avoid the terrible service and business practices provided by Priority Home Relocation LLC. This company purposely underestimates the customer’s volume with the intent of keeping the price low. They get your deposit (1/3 the total cost up front) and reassure you there is low risk to the process with plenty of flexibility. A few days before the scheduled move, they will review your inventory and - as expected - you will add a few things. The timing of this review coincides with the last day you can cancel the move and still get your deposit refunded (in theory). This is the first warning sign. The slight increase (even 100 cubic feet) will drastically increase your overall cost. In my case, it went up over $1000, which requires an additional deposit which is ~60% of the overall increase. Note: this additional deposit is required up front at the time you complete the inventory review. In our case, they estimated our total volume for moving my elderly parents from their 3-bedroom home to be 633 cubic feet (this was based on an itemized list that I checked and double-checked on moving day. The movers show up to the house with a 10-foot U-Haul (capable of holding 400 cubic feet). Obviously, this will not work. They proceed to tell me I have over a 1000 cubic feet of stuff. After some calls to the dispatch office, the dispatch manager offers the option to come back in a few days with a larger truck and move everything for a balance of $4000 (in addition to the $1600 deposit). I would have to find and rent the storage unit and pay for it out of my pocket. It’s important to note that I did sign up to receive the 30 days of free storage that was offered with my move. The other option suggested by the dispatch manager was take multiple loads and move everything to a local storage unit. None of these options were acceptable from my perspective so I asked the movers to hold off until I could talk directly to Priority Home Relocation LLC (not open on Memorial weekend). After the long weekend, I reached out to my contact at Priority Home Relocation LLC and explained everything that happened. They quickly transferred me to someone else who tried to reassure me they could have another truck sent out to pick up my parent’s belongings and deliver them as agreed – for the balance of $4000. My original quote when all this started was $3220. Jumping up to $5600 was completely outside our budget and I’m convinced it would have gone even higher. I simply asked for a refund because I didn’t want to hassle with this any further. As I feared, they were not willing to issue any refund of the deposit – not one penny. My parents and I paid $1600 for nothing. Priority Home Relocation LLC sent a truck that was too small to haul the agreed upon estimate they calculated and they claim they fulfilled their obligation. Please, please believe the other reviewers and save yourself from dealing with this company. They hide behind their contract’s legal terminology and refuse to honor their obligations. When I pleaded my case, the representative’s only response was “did our truck show up?” This by far has been the worst experience with a service company that I have ever had and I’m disgusted they are allowed to operate like this.

Moving Company with No Integrity at All

There should be an option for a no star rating as this company does not even deserve a 1 star. They’re just good when they are trying to get your business but once you pay the deposit beware cause none of the promises, cost agreements , timeline or costumer service will ever happen. It has been a nightmare since I put down my deposit money , I have been passed around many times and been ignored by my request to follow up. I was told initially that the timeline will be 5-8 days it will be a month by next week and no one can tell me exactly where my shipment at this time is . I have been just passed around. This company has no honesty or integrity at all ! It has cost me already so much money, time and aggravation. I am filing legal complaints to demand my goods and filling it to the appropriate government agencies as well. They need to learn from my case as no other costumer deserves this horrible experience and awful treatment that I got from them . Terrible Company Scamming Honest People

At first, my interaction with this company was great, however things quickly turned sour as our moving date approached. We were told that the ACTUAL amount would be at least $4,000 higher than the estimate. If I could give them less than zero, I would!

This company (our “representative” was Gianna Ross, who conveniently is no longer working there) gave us a binding estimate for a partial move from Louisiana to Florida, and we paid our down payment. After many lies and much duplicity, they then sold our contract to a bunch of felons (literally!) in Gretna, LA. to complete our move. They showed up in a rental Penske truck and packed our goods in front of all of their packing supplies and suitcases that belonged to who knows who. They threw our brand new tv up on top of the rest of our goods and then told us that we had EXACTLY double the cubic footage that our BINDING ESTIMATE said we did. My husband was, before retirement, an estimator for a paving company and we measured and counted everything three times! We were within 10 cf of the estimate! We were threatened with them unloading our goods onto the front lawn and leaving it there, if we didn’t pay the extra money, and with being charged $200 more if we didn’t shut up and pay what they said! We were 82 and 74, respectively, and could not bring it all back into the house. We called Priority Home Relocation and they said to pay the overage and they would walk us through the process on filing a claim. That was a joke! They gave us the website for MoversClaims.net and that was it! Would no longer answer our calls nor offer any help. When our goods were delivered 10 days later, the tv was broken, boxes were missing, and parts of furniture were missing! We were not given any of our paperwork that BY LAW they are supposed to give us when they picked up our goods, until the goods were delivered and the driver was walking out the door to get into yet another rental truck! I filed all the reports to the moving mediators and got an email offering $40 in compensation. I wrote a letter to the owner/ceo of Priority and sent it to the address on the binding estimate. It was returned to me as “no such address.” It was not the same address as is listed on this site! I re-sent the letter to the Boca Raton address but, to date have heard nothing. I called them today and “Karen” answered with a different company name. When I asked if they weren’t still Priority Home Relocation, she put me on hold to find out if they were or not. She gave me the Davie, FL address when I asked for their physical address. They are a bunch of liars, thieves, and scam artists and if I had to haul everything I owned on top of my head, I would before I’d use this company again! "Karen” has assured me that “Amanda” her supervisor, will call me back within 72 hours. I’d bet against that happening anytime in my lifetime! Be advised.. do NOT use this company. They trick you into signing then sell your contract, most likely splitting whatever else the carrier can gouge you for!

HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!! DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM

DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY! Priority Home Relocation lived up to every fear I had with selecting a moving company. I booked Priority with the expectation they would fulfil their promise of effective communication, adhering to pick-up and drop-off times, and no additional fees added at the end. Unfortunately, I experienced the opposite in every area. I was scheduled to move on Monday, May 24th, and I received a call on Saturday, May 22nd, requesting $800.00 more due to a “glitch” in their system and I needed to pay that before they pick me up on Monday. After going back and forth, and explaining I signed a fixed price no hassle contract, they agreed to waive the $800.00. When Monday came, I did not receive a call or anything. I called that afternoon and they stated I had been rescheduled for Tuesday, May 25th. I was ok with that because the contract had a two-day pick-up window. Tuesday comes and again, I do not hear from them. I called them and after jumping through hoops and being lied to several times about them coming to pick me up, they rescheduled for Wednesday, which now goes against the contract. Do you know what happened next? That’s right, they rescheduled for Thursday. Long story short, I had to book another moving company at the last minute because I closed on my home on Thursday and had to be out on Wednesday, I had to reschedule my flight (costing me money), my car was delivered to my new state and I wasn’t there to receive it, and to top it off they didn’t want give my deposit back after they breached the contract. WORSE company ever. I do not recommend them for anyone!
