Hey, these guys were awesome. They were actually cheaper than I expected for what they did. They helped me pack and hustled whenever they could and really put their best foot forward for me. I was not all too worried for my valuables as much as Prestige. They even called me for personal assurance they could handle any issues. The driver must know his way around because he was ahead of schedule and still didn't mind waiting on me.
Prestige Worldwide will stay in my contacts for later use.

Our experience was great. The movers arrived right on time. They were both efficient and friendly. Right from the start, they had a ton of energy and were able to help me finish boxing, too. I appreciate their professionalism and care for my belongings. No dings or dents on my walls, and the furniture was taken well care of. They even disassembled my couch to fit in the door and reassembled it at no extra cost. They never wasted our time or money, and were very careful wrapping fragile items. Definitely will use them again.

Obviously the reviews that are good for this company are written by themselves. They are a complete and total rip off. Quote you one number, tell you it's going to be $1000 extra when they show up. On the phone they told you a specific date of delivery and when you are waiting for it to show up and call them they say it's going to be up to 14 days and they do not know where your furniture is. They should know exactly where the delivery is, the number of days and the number of stops the truck has before yours but apparently they do not. Beyond rude and condescending on the phone. One guy really is nice who talks you into the moving process (Jason) and when the other calls you back (Josh) he is unbelievably rude even though Jason says to you on the phone a time quote (3 days) because it is not written in the contract then they pay no attention to it. When asking why this is the case I had responses such as 'you should have scanned the contract' 'it was only a short contract' 'how could you think 3 days was enough' I'M NOT A MOVER AND I DIDNT QUOTE MYSELF WITH THAT TIME!! He raised his voice at me and was no help at all. I would pay NOT to use these movers ever again. Currently sat in my empty apartment with no time frame of when my furniture will arrive and having to rent a hotel room. So unprofessional.

If you are in a rush and need someone to help you quickly, do not choose this company.

My move was 4/07/16. I never got a call from a coordinator or the driver to confirm the date/time of my move. I wasn't able to speak with someone in advance about packing services. If you don't set them up in advance the price increases onsite.

The day of the move I still didn't know what time the driver was arriving or if s/he was arriving.

The sales team (Brian, Anthony, Eric, etc.) just want to get your money. They do not care about your total job. Once they book your move, you can forget any follow up. They seem to only be incented on commission (i.e. booking the sale ONLY).

The movers left two of the rooms in my place unmoved and over $7,000 worth of furniture was not included on the truck. When the driver arrived he told me I had to pay extra for the number of stairs in my home. The sales persons never mentioned this to me. The driver also told me the final move was exorbitantly more than the estimate. How can that be when my bedroom and office furniture was left?

I asked to receive the final bill. It is going on June, my move was early April, I have yet to receive the final bill. I have called the driver and the office. Customer service is the only person you can speak with after your move. Customer service is Josh. He is rude and unconcerned about any issues you have. He doesn't follow up on sending you the final bill. He doesn't follow up on forwarding claim forms when requested. He doesn't respond to his voicemails and return phone calls. When you ask if there is someone else you can speak with he tells you that you can only speak with him.

Horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible. My things are still being held hostage. I doubt I will ever get my clothes, shoes, dishes, furniture, mementos, etc.

Don't be fooled by this company. The Virginia company is the same as the North Carolina company and that is the same as the Florida company. These are not different companies. They seem to be brokers and you can't pin them don't. Don't trust them. Don't use them. Run!!

These guys will knock your socks off!! As well as do all the work for you!! Lol!! I was looking for a few weeks for quotes from actual moving companies then I stumbled spoon these guys. They are actual movers and not brokers they were with me the whole way from start to finish. I needed delivery quicker then 2 weeks like most companies where describing and these guys got me there in the window I needed. This was my first long distance move and I am now a customer for life.. Great job guys thanks!!

This moving company was a great company. They help me from start to finish. I'm truly impressed with the job that they did to help me out to get me to move into my new home. Let me start by saying these guys changed my mind on there being good honest movers out there! I search for a few weeks before locking a company in. Thank god I didn't have the experience I've had with previous movers. I made the mistake of going with brokers before. Prestige is far from that. They showed up in their own truck with uniformed movers. The price actually went down because I did not bring a few items and had less boxes. Prestige Will be my mover for life.

Five Star Experience
The move went very well, with no unexpected surprises or hiccups. They arrived on time to pickup at the set time. Our belongings arrived on time at our new home and in perfect condition. The Prestige Worldwide Moving staff was very professional and diligent about providing an outstanding customer experience. We definitely have no complaints and are very pleased with out experience. Very cost effective and fit our budget. On time and on budget - I definitely recommend.

We just moved up to Wisconsin from Texas, and ended up using the services of PWM after getting quotes from three other services. This is our first big, cross-country move, so I wasn't exactly sure what to expect, but I was very pleased with the result! The team from PWM arrived first thing the morning of the move, and worked like a well-oiled machine to load the truck. They were professional, courteous, and genuinely seemed to care about ensuring there would be no damage to our contents during the move. Lastly--and most importantly--all of our boxes and furniture arrived 3.5 days later, intact and without scratches or blemishes. I couldn't be more pleased with how this move went.

I was given the opportunity to relocate for work from North Carolina to California. I am a retired army veteran that has used a moving service numerous times. In all my other moves the military selected and handled everything from top to bottom but this time is was my responsibility. I was contacted by 10 different companies and Prestige was the one that stood out the most to me.my time is very limited so when I had the opportunity to make the call I was always able to get ahold of somebody. Everyone I spoke with was very informative and made me feel comfortable about the decision I would later make. I was in constant contact my representative all my questions and concerns were promptly address. Everything we spoke about on the phone was exactly what happened on move date. There were no surprises with the final balance,the drivers we're on time and extremely thorough with taking care of my personal belongings. I'm not the type of person to write about my experience but I was so impressed with how everything played out that I would highly recommend this company to anybody looking for a professional service. These guys honestly deliver.Job well done.

The company proved to be outstanding in their service, very professional, efficient, and timely in their work. Their pricing beat all competitors that I contacted, and they have a truly friendly staff. I am so enamored to report that the entire move went perfectly. I recommend this company to all who want great satisfaction in relocating their possesions. I contracted Prestige to move my stuff from California to Mass.

The contractual pickup window was Saturday to Sunday.

They didn't show up on Saturday or Sunday, and I got no word from them. They just were a no-show, despite repeated calls and emails.

Since my lease was up on Monday, I had to rent a truck myself that morning, pack everything up, and start driving.

They called me back on Monday midday (as I was in the middle of packing up my uHaul) and told me that the driver was "sick or something". I told them I wanted my money back. They said no.

They told me their contract says they reserve the right to pickup within a 48 hour window of the pickup window *due to Acts of God such as natural disasters or other unforeseen circumstances*. (This is true, their contract does say that.)

I said that is irrelevant because a driver getting sick is not an Act of God, and besides that's no excuse for not calling me.

They continue to refuse to refund my money.

I contracted with Prestige on short notice, and wish I'd done more due diligence and research. Please consider the following red flags that I identified through a little research, and pick a different company:

Red Flags with Prestige:
-They ask for a significant up-front deposit. Legit moving companies will not.
-They do not do an in-person estimate. Most legit moving companies will.
-There are numerous typos and spelling mistakes in the contract ("clinet"/client, "cancelation"/cancellation, "du e"/due, etc etc)
-Their website claims they've been in business since 1993, even though a whois query shows their website was created in January of 2015. Perhaps they are indicating the start date of the company "Professional Moving & Storage", which was created in 1993 but was shut down in 2003, according to bbb.org. Not sure exactly what is going on there, but bbb.org says that "According to information provided by the North Carolina Utilities Commission, Prestige Worldwide Moving is in no way related to Professional Moving & Storage, Inc DBA Prestige Moving & Storage in Chapel Hill, which operated from 2002-2012 and is now out of business." So it appears that Prestige is claiming the lineage of Professional Movers, even though there "is no connection". I obviously don't know the full story, but the clues reveal troubling inconsistencies.
-As of the writing of this review, their website claims a bbb.org rating of A+, even though it is currently a D+ (as of Feb 19, 2016).
-The picture on their website, that shows a truck with a Prestige logo on it, is clearly photoshopped. The base image is a stock photo that you can find on shutterstock.com, and the perspective of the logo is off. These guys don't actually have trucks with "Prestige" painted on, but they'd like you to think they do.
-All the other photos on their website are from stock photo sites like shutterstock, etc as well.
-Dozens of 5-star reviews, and a handful of awful zero-star reviews? No two, three, or four star reviews, on any review websites, anywhere? That should trigger a red flag for you.
-Let's all just remember that the name "Prestige Worldwide" comes from the 2008 movie 'Step Brothers' with Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly.

I know you might be rushed and need to make a quick decision.

Pick someone else.

This was one the few moving experiences that I've had, and also one of the best. I want to start by saying just how professional and qualified the staff at Prestige Worldwide Moving are. All of my belongings arrived to my destination, North Carolina, in the same condition that they were in from my house in Maine. The staff handled everything with so much care and I cannot thank them enough. I did not expect many of the glass collectibles that I have to survive before my move, so I had packed them in extra protection. However, judging by their professionalism, I was not as worried during the move. My glass collectibles arrived to North Carolina in tip-top condition without a dent or scratch! They were very responsive to all of my needs. The price is very reasonable and I will use this moving company again if I ever have to move.

I was so stressed out when I found out I had to relocated from Oregon to North Carolina for my job. Thank goodness I found Prestige Worldwide Moving company. They made my life so much easier. I loved how professional the staff was and the move went so smoothly and well, I just couldn't believe how blessed I was to find such an excellent moving company. Best part was that the cost was very reasonable. It cost 2000 and it was worth every penny for the great job they did! I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking to move!

I have to say that I was truly surprised about how well this move went. I contacted them about six prior to the move out date and to my surprise they took the job anyways. They showed up at my now rental property in Michigan at a little before nine in the morning on a Monday and had everything gone before noon. They arrived in North Carolina at a little before eight in the evening due to my work scheduled and they had everything unloaded, unpacked and put away before eleven. They conducted themselves in a professional manner from the very start until the end. Everything was in the same condition as it was before it left Michigan.

I am not really sure how they have "manipulated" the good reviews!! Personally I had a nightmare-like experience. Everything bad I heard about moving company does, I ended facing all of those. I am not even sure where to start!!
1) They are merely BROKERS. However, they claim to be First party movers. They simply sub contact the work to some other company!! I still have the email where they claimed they will send their own people and truck. However, what they did is just sub contracted the work to a company namely "Relocation Specialist". To make things even worse, they continuously kept on claiming people they sent were their own. But, the people who were delivering kept on saying they do not know anyone in "Prestige Worldwide", and they do not have any idea who they are. If this is not "Cheating" in a business then I do not know what is.

2) They give you an estimation at the time of the contract and right before the delivery they claimed that their "Estimate" was "Little" bit off and I have to pay $800 more to get my goods. Then when I told them I would go to Court if they cheat me like this then they reduced it to $300.

3) Stolen goods. They stole my PS3 and other expensive electronic goods. Do not even know how they can be in a business where they steal the goods they are moving.

4) The movers they sent were not professional. They not only broke things at the pick up place they kept on using profinity for no good reason in a family environment.

5) I have never really received a final invoice from the company. When I charged the delivery guys for losing my goods they literally fled away!!

I actually paid $500 more than other companies as I saw all the good reviews here. I am not quite sure how they have "arranged" these reviews to fool the customers. But, all I can say is "Beware". DO NOT TRUST this moving company!!

It was a pleasure using Prestige Worldwide.. I have read bad things about a lot of the companies that quoted me after signing up for quotes. It was a sure thing after reading Prestiges reviews and seeing they have trucks registered and are not a broker. After booking them, they showed up on time and packed all my glass. My rep Ant over quote me and I didn't bring a few pieces of furniture so my proves actually went down $375. Which I was of course happy about. I needed delivery asap and they had the quickest turn around time. Having 2 toddlers needing their beds and toys I was happy with how quick they delivered my stuff and resembled all my furniture and set the TV's right where we needed them. This company is awesome!! The driver and crew are very professional! Thanks agai.

This moving company help me from start to finish. It was a great moving company. I will recommend this company to all my family members and friends. I choose this company because the representative Eric, gave me the best price quote and contract it would not exceede my budget.
The movers showed up at 9 PM knowing I had to leave the next morning. The moving supervisor, Wade, walked through my home and said my quote was way off and it was going to cost me over 6400.00, when I had a signed contract for 2270.00 I was told it was underestimated and they could not move me unless I signed a new contract. Being desperate that late at night knowing I didn't have time to find new movers, I agreed. This is wrong to give a Contract then triple when movers arrive. I plan to appeal this or whatever I can do to report this behavior. It wrong.

“”WARNING, WARNING, WARNING””, I WARN ANY AND ALL WOULD BE CLIENTS……STAY AWAY!! What Prestige Worldwide Moving Company put me through was an absolute travesty to say the least. From start to finish this entire process was flawed and a scam. I’ve never felt more taken advantage of, cheated, lied to, or conned. The initial quote of $2091 (given by James) turned into $6063 at the time of delivery. The company changed my pick up times 5 times and called to advise only of the change twice w/ no explanation (until I demanded a response). The PU was scheduled for Wed 0900, I didn’t get PU until Saturday at 9pm. The movers weren’t finished until 0130 Sunday morning. Josh was an arrogant man who was very condescending and rude. I was told so many tales and flat out lies by the entire team. James stopped returning my calls after the pickup and multiple messages left. He was all of a sudden busy, or gone for the day. I kept being told someone would call me back; that happened twice of over 40 phone calls inquiring as to a status or explanation. No one had any fidelity on what the other “departments” were doing and the entire operation was a joke. I was placed on hold countless times only to yield no status other than “tomorrow”. Tomorrow kept turning into another tomorrow and the price explanation was minimal. I’ll admit there may have been a few items left off of the initial inventory but nothing that justified the nearly triple cost. Some items were scratched and dinged up. There policy is $.60 per pound reimbursement. That’s crazy so if something cost $800 and was damaged but weighed 3lbs you’d be reimbursed for $1.80. You can pay for “extra” insurance for full price, but the cost is astronomical. This was due to them moving my stuff twice in order to get weight tickets. They were advised at the beginning that the military requires weight tickets. I was assured I’d get them. The driver said he never was advised this; thus the weight tickets on the back end with different dates for full and empty (all a scam). They initially cost ($2091) was charging me for cubic square feet. Once I said the Army needed weight tickets they then charged me for weight and did some BS math. The total weight was the same day and truck that had someone else’s stuff already on it so how can you get a full ticket and then empty the load and get an empty….sounds incredibly fishy. I may have had more than 5,000 lbs, but nowhere need 13,900lbs. All an attempt to justify the cost per weight divided by CSF….allegedly. Long story short, do you research, triple check the BBB (they had an F when I relooked). The “MyMovingReviews” is skewed’ probably internal reviews done by the company itself (although the caveats at the bottom state the contrary. They most certainly are not 5 star worthy. I can’t speak for anyone else’s experience, but if mine was any indication then I beg you turn away before it’s too late. I pray no one EVER has to experience this madness and the horrendous business practices of this D level company. I plan to report them to the DOT, BBB, and file a civil suit for wrongdoing and emotional distress. I’m an active duty service member w/ over 20 years experience and I’ve never been manipulated and tricked like PWWM did me.

Maybe you are like me..looked at quite a few movers, even investigated reviews, and you may see that there are a few very unhappy customers with *every* company. I thought, well there are a few sort of bad reviews for Prestige, but many good ones. I am now convinced that the company files these reviews themselves so they can brag about a 5 star rating they don't deserve. Here's what I learned from my awful experience with Prestige:

1. They'll give you a great quote.
It's calculated on a reasonable price per square foot based on an inventory list you send them. To get the most accurate quote possible I submitted a very detailed list that included the EXACT measurements of all my boxes and items. I numbered and wrote down the content of all my boxes, something I recommend during any move.

2. A random moving company will show up at your house.
A local company picked up my items and put them in a storage unit for the Prestige guys to pick up. Prestige may tell you they're not a broker, but don't expect to ever see anyone who actually works at Prestige.

3. They don't keep track of your things.
I called two days before my agreed delivery date to check on things (as I was boarding the plane to my new home), and was told by customer service that my items had been mistakenly NOT loaded on the truck that was taking them west. And no one had noticed until I called. Everything was still in a warehouse in Chicago. I had to call several more times to ensure it even go loaded on a truck at all.

4. While holding your things hostage, your charges will be increased.
While my things were a week late, I was then told they had underestimated my square footage and the charge was now around double the estimate. Remember how I gave them very exact square footage measurements? Yeah, I called them out on it. I kept getting blown off by the dispatch guy, but kept hounding him and customer service to give me an explanation. I eventually called the local mover who had picked up my things—he was a cool guy and confirmed that what he put in the storage unit was nowhere near the square footage Prestige was now claiming. I fought almost every day with someone at Prestige but had to pay the exorbitant new amount for want of my stuff (we were now almost two weeks out and living in a completely empty new apartment).

5. Don't expect to know when your delivery will be.
I was told that there were other deliveries on the truck that had my stuff and I was the last stop. I asked for an estimated estimate and got one. The day comes, no delivery. Tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow, oh definitely this weekend, oh in the next couple of days..these are the answers I kept receiving when I demanded to know when the delivery would happen. Empty promises until finally they (non-Prestige movers) showed up 13 days after my scheduled delivery date. I had to wrangle the driver's cell phone number out of dispatch to find out when they'd be here.

6. They steal.
Everything arrived relatively undamaged except for one box. It was the box containing all our game consoles, which had mysteriously disappeared. How convenient that this expensive and desirable box is the only thing they couldn't keep track of..

7. Customer service is terrible.
They may sound like your friend on the phone, but they are difficult to get a hold of, have only excuses, and disappear as soon as you want to file a claim.

8. You might get some money back if you have endless hours to give them grief.
I eventually was refunded $575 after dispatch admitted that my square footage had been "mistakenly" increased. Note, this is nowhere near the amount I was overcharged and I have yet to hear back on my claim. I called and texted this guy countless times before the placating amount was sent to me through an app. SKETCH.

Moral of the story is DO NOT TRUST PRESTIGE. Do not trust anyone you talk to at Prestige. Do not trust the numbers they give you. Do not trust the contracts you sign. Do not trust them with any of your possessions. Next time I move cross-country I'm driving a Uhaul myself!

Our family had a life changing event and was forced to uproot and relocate our entire home and all of our belongings. With so much to do and not enough time to do it, I research and spoke to several movers. I have to honestly say after what I seen and heard I was worried. My family was very stressed and overwhelmed but then came the call from Prestige. The quote was more than what I have been reviewing but it just seemed right. After all said and done they came and packed up everything for us and we still managed to remain in our budget. I would recommend them to anybody they were professional and their service was exactly the way they said it would be. They followed through with everything they said they would and our family couldn't be more grateful for their help.

I really wasn't sure about using a mover especially after reading reviews. I was referred to this company by a family member. I was hesitant because although referred I did see some negative comments but my brother insisted that I use them due to his experience. Thank god I did because they were exactly what I was hoping and looking for. I guess that's service for you some are happy and some aren't but my experience was great. That's why I felt like posting this.I hope I never have to move again but if I do I will definitely call them.
