The gentleman that ran the pickup was the absolute rudest I've ever encountered, and charged me over triple my original estimate. When I questioned the total amount, I was told if I wanted to see how much room my load had taken up, he would drop all my stuff in the parking lot and leave. He said I had too much stuff and needed to be more normal (my mom had just passed and I had some boxes of hers to go through) and then proceeded to slam and kick many boxes marked fragile, breaking what was inside. When I called the company to report, they expressed remorse but never followed up and never did anything to make things right. Every time I reached someone at the company in the months following they had no idea what I was talking about and were also incredibly rude. Apparently the company is now closed, but as customer service reps are still answering the phones, I'm wondering if they rebranded under a different LLC. Horrible.

I can't say enough good things about this moving company! From start to finish, they exceeded our expectations in every way. The team of movers were punctual, efficient, and incredibly professional. They took great care of all our belongings and ensured that everything arrived at our new home safely and on time. We were also impressed by their attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure that we were completely satisfied with their service. Overall, we would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of a moving service.

Never picked up items, kept deposits. LIED about status! Lied about pick up, lied about drivers, hired the driver from Craigslist the day the goods were to be picked up. NEVER PICKED UP ITEMS, kept both deposits even after they breached the contract by hiring someone from Craigslist that is uninsured, not vetted by the company etc. Promised a refund but have stopped returning phone calls and emails! I have also filed a complaint with BBB. DO NOT TRUST! DO NOT USE! This is a BAD COMPANY!

North American Moving Experts is a very questionable moving broker "company" They farmed out my move to and outfit called 365 Moving & Trucking. This is the worst, shadiest company i've ever dealt with. My move was from Dallas, TX to Salt Lake City, UT. It took a week for my items to arrive. The sole contact i had would only accept zelle or money orders for payment(red flag). This payment problem caused delays at both pick up and delivery. They don't have dedicated movers. At pick up and delivery they just put out a craigslist ad hoping that "movers" would show up. The delivery ad in slc was only able to attract one mover which led to a five hour unload. Also, at delivery, they had a completely unannounced "moving fee" to charge me before they would unload. To add to the misery, there were apparently holes in the roof of the truck. Numerous items were soaked in water and ruined. Other items were shattered and several items were just flat out missing... Such as my $2,000 motorized recliner chair...Not broken, just flat out not there. I tried to contact this company to complain but none of their listed phone numbers or emails worked. Never use this company. I have no idea how they haven't been shut down yet. North American Moving Experts did not conduct this move since they are just brokers. However, they will not respond to my requests for help in getting compensation. Total silence!!

As you can see from the other reviews they have no feedback or comment on the awful reviews. 1 good review probably from a relative or coworker. I thought I was hiring north american van lines and some how ended up on their web page. They take total advantage of people. They called 12 hours before my move to tell me I owed $600 more for bulk and didn't even take all they were suppose to and said i couldn't get my deposit back because I had to cancel 72 hours before pickup. They quoted me a price of $5,000.00 but by the time they put all my belongings on the truck they said I owed 10,000.00… Chris Davis was really sweet in the beginning when they wanted me to sign the contract but after that you could never get him. They picked up my things 2 days late and delivered my things a week late. They told me that the contract said they have 30 days to deliver my furniture!! The company that they brokered to is call 365 Movers. The manager (Jimmy) was scratching his privates the entire time he was at my house and went into the bathroom to use the toilet for 15 minutes and then washed up. They broke up a lot of my furniture. They gave me a fake certificate of insurance. The Insurance company said they don’t know who they are. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! REMEMBER I WARNED YOU!!!

II booked my moving through North America Moving experts (which in itself was a horrible experience) and they hired another company that outsourced to them without letting us know. So if you read these reviews and decide to go to another company, I recommend asking WHO will handle your stuff and if they outsource their work.

I had requested moving from California to Seattle for 1 bedroom, first they come and ask for extra money and keep changing the quote every time. They will never do a house tour, one representative, Christina contacted me first asked me for the list of items which I provided them. Then on the day of move, they survey and tell me you're exceeding the sq ft storage capacity and charged an extra 500$. Okay fine, on with it, they say that your delivery will be done in 5-6 business days and I accordingly booked my travel, but then no calls, no one answering any call. The delivery came after 25 days!!!!!! I didn't have a home or any bed so I had to take favours from my friends until the delivery arrived, and then they come here and ask for another 500$, just for assembling back my items (which btw was already included in the initial cost).

In summary don't use North American Moving Experts or the Hermes Moving company at all.

I answered the call from North American Moving and was asked for the square footage of my home (635 sqft) to be given an estimate. Then we listed out the items. The company went through great lengths to get the items correct so that the estimate was accurate. Very nice, seemed genuine and I thought I was in good hands. I have a lot of negative things to say about the movers but in the end North America Movers sold me and did not help or take care of me when things went wrong with the movers. The movers they used were Flash Boys Moving LLC.

They were late (got there at 7pm instead of the window of 1-5pm) and they did not communicate with me. I finally got the number to call them and then they told me they would be late. To my dismay, this huge truck pulls up. We did not realize our items would be loaded and carried with other individuals items.

They over packed some of my items, using boxes when it wasn't needed and after all of that, they gave us the cost, about $800 more than estimated and they would only take cash or Venmo. We had no choice but to use them, it was already on the truck and we had to be out of the house that night. By this point it was 9:30pm. That's how long it took to load our tiny cottage furniture with 3 guys. They did not take care in loading- I personally watched my full length mirror leaned up against the truck fall.

My first available date for delivery comes up, I get no communication from them. Flash Boys finally call on a Monday and say it will be no later than Wednesday. They don't show up, I call back, no answer. No room for voicemail. No way to communicate. I call the North American Moving to help, they won't do anything more than tell me my account says it's pending delivery. A week goes by, I get another call from Flash Boys saying it will be by Friday of that week. No communication until Friday afternoon asking for a Saturday delivery.

Sure enough, the mirror was broken along with three other items. One of my plastic bins lid was broken with an actual foot print where someone had stepped on it. The guy moving me says I have to call Flash Boys to file an insurance claim. I tell him no one will answer my calls, how can I do that if I can't speak to anyone? He won't help me, he leaves.

I call them on Monday, no answer, voicemail full. I call North American Moving, they tell me I need to file a claim with CSI and when I can't do that because I don't have adequate information about the movers which CSI needs to file the claim, the customer service representative is extremely rude and relatively unhelpful as they have all been since I have paid them. I call CSI directly, turns out they don't even do claims for Flash Boys Moving and his advice is to contact them to get their insurance claim information. So I am back to contacting a company that will not answer me.

I would not use this company if it was $10. My experience here is there are so many companies hired on so that they can all point fingers at one another when something goes wrong and no one to help or take responsibility. I would avoid this route at all cost!

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! Worst experience ever. Not only did they not deliver all of my things their claims services are beyond awful.

From the top, my wife hired a broker North American Moving Expert LLC to get us moved from AZ to FL. North American brokered the deal to Mover Van Lines and this is where the problems began. Pickup drivers showed up late crammed our items into a truck that was already too full, had us sign some paperwork and off they went. The only thing we knew for sure was that a our boxes were headed to Las Vegas to be put onto another truck.

Waited 6 weeks, sleeping on an air mattress, for our goods to be delivered. Driver spoke little English and his helper, who was a day laborer, showed up on a moped. We are still missing 17 of the 35 boxes that were loaded. Parts of our bed were broken, our tables were all scratched, and they did not have our 3 piece couch or our coffee table. More than that they did not honor the clause in the contract regarding the reassembly of our goods.

Called Mover Van Lines and was directed to CSI Pros to submit our claim information. Of course, we were offered no guidance as to how the process worked and after completing the 15 page claim form that included pictures of the damages incurred, website references for the damaged items, and all other necessary information our claim was denied out of hand. I don't think I've ever felt more disrespected by anyone. Never hiring Move Van Lines or North American Moving Experts again.

Advice that we can offer from this experience. Don't hire anyone that is a broker, use only companies that deal directly with you. Don't hire anyone that is going to off load and then reload your belongings. Always buy the insurance and make sure you know how to file a claim against the moving company. All that being said here's some information about North American Moving Experts, Mover Van Lines and CSI that might be helpful if you are in a similar situation.

Make sure you buy the insurance, get a copy of your Bill of Lading and check it at both loading and unloading. Download the 'Protect Your Move' documents from the DOT website, make notes of even the slightest damage and file a claim immediately!

I was promised my refund of $777.20 when I refused to pay in cash for the local carrier whom North American Moving Experts, LLC (N.A.M.E.) hired without my knowledge. That was in August 2023.

N.A.M.E. led me to believe that my move could be paid for in full via credit card. I only knew of the cash “bait and switch” until the day of the move when the hired local carrier called me out-of-the-blue.

Over the phone they kept saying "You signed a contract". I said to them that I always pay using credit cards for big ticket purchases to protect myself from fraudsters. It was not until after the fact that I learned that their actions fall under the purview of moving fraud. Finally, when one of N.A.M.E’s representatives said, “Okay, we will send you your refund.” That’s when I ended the phone call, only to later learn that the refund statement was a ruse to get me off the phone.

“Nope!” is all I have to say about this company.

I answered the call from Lucas at North American Moving and was asked for the items to be given an estimate. Then we listed out the items. The company went through great lengths to get the items correct so that the estimate was accurate. In the quote, they showed smaller cubic feet to lower the rate and get me signed the contract. Once the contract was signed with one agent and the initial payment ($652) was paid, another agent called me just two days before the move-out date and let me know that the cubic feet mentioned in my quote to accommodate all my items is smaller and I will require twice as much space and this will cost me higher payment. I told them that I am not interested to move my items with this company as the asking money is much higher than the original quote and the agent told me that they will not refund the advanced booking fee as I already signed the quote. These people are absolutely unprofessional and try to cheat customer at any means to get more money.

The movers they used were Southern elite van lines. They were late (got there at 7pm instead of the window of 1-5pm) and they did not communicate with me. A huge truck pulls up in the evening and We did not realize our items would be loaded and carried with other individuals items. They push us to remove some items and they gave us the cost, about $1000 more than estimated and they would only take cash or zelle. We had no choice but to use them as the contract was previously signed and we had to be out of the house that night. By this point it was 9:30pm. That's how long it took to load our tiny 2BR furniture with 5 guys. They did not take care in loading and asked us to remove some of the items even though we paid twice as much the original quote.

On the delivery date, we found that a lot of furnitures are broken. Also, the truck driver was not professional enough. He was advising us that we should make the packet smaller so that they can easily carry with one hand. But the real reason is if you make many packets, they can charge you much.

If you are moving with this company, make sure that they give you a quote with accurate space in cubic foot. Otherwise, one agent will try to sign you the contract and get paid one-third of the money. Once paid, another agent will show up and ask you to pay additional money to fit all items in the contract. If you do not agree, they will make drama on the move-out date and make you pay the amount they are asking for. Be very careful from this company!!

North American subcontracted my move from Buffalo, NY to Wilmington, DE to scammers. My furniture went missing and North American could not tell me where it was or when I'd get it back. Four days after when I was supposed to receive it, I contacted police who advised filing a theft report. Long story short, my DAMAGED property finally showed up, but I paid 45% more than the BINDING BID contract. North American, who was supposed to be my "moving coordinator" stopped taking phone calls and responding to emails or text messages when my stuff went missing. Extremely disappointed, as they were unreliable, unresponsive. They subcontracted to scammers who overcharged, and they refused to act as the liaison they promised to be. If I could have give zero stars I would have. I would not recommend ANYONE use this company.

The estimation was false to begin with and NAME knew this. They subcontracted my move out to Handle With Care Moving and Storage and then to We Care For you, Moving Storage and Concierge Services. All movers were unprofessional. The first set charged an additional $2400 to move my items from MN to Kansas. It was dropped off. I called several times and texted NAME employees to no avail to find out where my stuff was. This went on for two weeks. Next my stuff was thrown into an 18 wheeler and moved to east coast where it was thrown into storage over the Christmas holiday. I did not find this out until they came to my house. They threw my stuff into a smaller truck and came to final destination, where extortion took place for another large sum of money to move it out of truck. Items were heavily DAMAGED, boxes opened and rifled through, boxes busted wide open, and items missing: Epson printer and kitchen table with chairs. I have not finished unpacking. Did not see my items from 12/05-12/30/22. Would NOT recommend any of the three companies. Suggest all past, present and future dissatisfied customers file an online complaint with Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody-I did.

On 11/30 I secured estimates from several moving companies to move my son from New York to California. The same list was sent to all companies, including North American. I received a call back from their representative who issued me a quote based on the list I provided. He issued a contract for me to sign and indicated a deposit. I questioned the list on the contract because it did not exactly match the one I sent to him (and every other mover). He assured me that the items he had chosen were equivalent to my list. My son and I signed and gave the deposit. The move was set for 12/21.

Two days before, called went over the move, the price was increased by over $2K by the revisions office. We were told the list would take more square footage and since it did not match what was on the contract it was a revision. I asked that the original email be referenced and told them about my conversation with the representative. The revisions representative said on the day of the move they would go over the price and adjust according.

Day of move spoke to someone in the morning when movers arrived. Said they would speak with my son and I at the completion of the move. My sons calls about 2 hours later to say the movers pulled off and charged him and additional $2400. Called the company they said they tried to call my son he did not pick up and since he signed and let the movers take his furniture we would have to attempt a claim after he paid the $1500 additional when they dropped off the furniture in California. The person actually told me its his fault (my son) since he signed and the movers are not them and since he did not pick up when they called. They are just a broker and his signing constitutes a new contract. She also told me to feel free to complain to whoever I want since what he signed was a legal contract. Moved costs $5740 from initial estimate of $2097

This was the worst moving experience I have ever had! North American LLC outsources to a third party company to complete the move. They end up charging thousands more because they say North American LLC is unable to really give a correct estimate, they move your items to a warehouse and unload them until they are able to bring them to you, even if a date is agreed upon prior to the movers arriving. I had to call 5x to get my stuff. You only receive your items as promised if you pay an extra $1500 cash day of the move. Then they break all kinds of items because they are not professional movers. With each box/bin/piece of furniture, I find some part of it damaged or broken. Do not use this moving company!!

I contracted with North American Moving Experts LLC to handle my move from Columbus OH to Waynesboro PA on 12/16/2022. The sales staff, moving coordinators and everyone that I talked with prior to signing a contract stated I could pay the movers that showed up with Venmo, credit card, Cashiers check or cash. The representatives of North American also said that final payment on delivery would need to be cash, which was understood. At no time prior to contract being signed did they mention that they where a broker or that the company contracts out the movers themselves. On December 16th, a plain rental truck showed up with no North American logo. 3 men, without a uniform or other identification, arrived and demanded only cash for services. Since neither the individuals nor the truck where North American employees, I declined fearing my belongings may be stolen. After multiple attempts to rectify the situation I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau

Worst experience of my life!!!! It’s been three weeks and I still haven’t received my stuff nor received responses to my emails, texts, or voicemail until 2 days ago. I’ve filed reports with all the agencies (police, FBI, BBB, DOT, DOJ) and have had to have my accounts frozen so these imposters couldn’t get any more of my money.. My story is just like others with one star.

I got a text message 2 days ago saying “when can you receive your delivery?” and also a text telling me I needed 2700 in cash or post office money order before they can unload. I told them i could do a bank money order and they flipped out and said they wouldn’t unload the truck unless i paid it either of the ways he mentioned. When I asked the bank why they would care,they said the drivers are probably undocumented. they charge 600 more than they told me it’d be when I paid to have a guaranteed March 5th delivery. Josh, Sebastian, Anna and Casey Stuart are soulless beings. No responding to anything once they had my money. My original estimate of 1900 dollars turned into almost 10 thousand. NAME brokered me out to Carefree Movers, who were even more awful, if possible.When they were picking my stuff up they called at 2:00 and said they would be at my house in 30 minutes. At 6:30 I called to find out where there were and they said they were with a client but they’d be at my house in 12 minutes (3 hours eastern scammer time). They came the next day. Just so you know, I was moving to and from cities in the same state around only 350 miles apart total.

I plan on having a police officer with me if/when they do show up. When I told the dispatcher that, he lost it and told me I could “call all the police you want but they won’t do anything since you signed a contract”. I want these people put away.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE MORALLY BANKRUPT SCAMMERS !!!!

This moving company has been a complete NIGHTMARE to deal with! I initially hired them to move items from my 1200 square-foot two-bedroom condo, along with a small storage unit. My initial estimate was $4,500, and to avoid any hidden charges, I even provided them with a video walkthrough of my condo. The broker even gave me a firm assurance, saying, “There won't be any surprises." However, my experience has been a terrifying rollercoaster of unpleasant shocks.

The movers arrived, and to my surprise, they were unable to fit all my items into their truck. Consequently, I had to leave some belongings behind. Then they dropped a bombshell: the move was going to cost more than twice the initial quote. Feeling cornered, I had to cough up an additional $5700 immediately! I had already sold my condo and had no other option but to move out.

Moreover, I was initially told by the broker that my items were the sole cargo in their truck headed to California, and the delivery would take 7-10 days. To my dismay, I am now stranded halfway across the country, informed that they have 30 days to deliver my items, which are sitting in a warehouse in Illinois! This situation is causing an accumulation of losses, and I'm left wondering where I'm supposed to stay for an entire month.

This company will say anything to coax you into booking a move with them and secure your deposit. As of now, I am still without my belongings and have already spent over $8,000! I've had numerous fruitless discussions with their so-called customer service reps, whose only solution seems to be extracting more and more money from me! Adding insult to injury, I have been informed that there will be more charges upon delivery. If you refuse to pay, they won't unload your stuff. If you're considering this company for your move, I have only one piece of advice: RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!
