Long-distance move from Brooklyn, NY to Chino Hills, CA

Moving

UPDATE-I urge everyone who has had a bad experience with this company to open a case/investigation against them through the BBB and FMCSA. BOTH my cases are under investigation. It will take many of us doing it for them to do right by us.

If I could I'd give them 0 stars I would! Good companies don’t need reviews, people only leave reviews when a company doesn't hold up their side of the service. This company should NOT be considered a "TOP 5 RATED MOVING COMPANY". THEY ARE ALSO NOT BBB ACCREDITED. Israel, Mike, Jennifer, and Amir, I don’t know how you all sleep at night knowing you scam and steal from people! From the low initial quote - which by the way my husband walked through every room and told Israel EXACTLY what was coming (what it's really called is a bait and switch), to the lack of communication, to the showing up 24 hours unannounced, but as per Amir we didn't say the date we did (still waiting on those transcriptions, bud). I'm guessing we never got them because you're wrong. Whenever we tried reaching out when they did wrong no one answered & when they did, we would get the run around or a snotty attitude from Jennifer. OR they ghost you, but when they need payment they are nice and say "any resolutions will be deducted off the final price." WRONG. Not only were we charged close to 3 times the amount we were quoted because of a HORRIBLE quote from Israel who was also supposed to be our POC throughout our whole move if anything went wrong, HEY just so you know Israel left us out to dry-until this day we still haven't heard from him, although we have called, left voice mails, emailed, AND even texted his number he provided us with. Amir, who is the "dispatch supervisor" (not much of a supervisor and professional BTW) called my husband a liar and when my husband asked for transcripts since all the phone conversations are "recorded," as per Amir, he never sent those over either (we're still waiting on those if you care to send them over). Mike, who calls himself the "supervisor", didn't have time for us because he was waiting for a flight with his wife on a Friday afternoon while our whole move was a disaster - great supervising done on your end, pal. Jennifer, their secretary, is snotty, condescending, and apparently can not deal with hard situations as she told my husband and blamed my husband for their mistakes. She seems to be blind to the fact that her bosses put her in these situations, not the customers. If the customers were treated correctly they wouldn't be getting the phone calls they get. NOT a professional company at all. They lack empathy and ANY proper business etiquette, they make it sound like they care and are there for you in the beginning, BUT they aren't, they're only there for your money. It really is a shame. Again, not sure how people like this are still in business and not only that but how do they sleep at night? They haven't reached out to us with a "resolution", they probably think we forgot, but when you take food out of peoples mouths people don’t forget. They took advantage, they saw their opportunity and jumped right on it. Moving Relocation Systems, please know I will not stop posting and or reaching out to BBB, and FMCSA until YOU reach out to us and make this right and resolve this issue to a matter of our liking. If this doesn't happen, PLEASE understand our lawyers will be in-touch, and if I remember correctly, as per Mike, (who was waiting for a flight with his wife) didn't care to make that clear as we were having issues with the moving company he supervises and his phone call with my husband they are "ready for lawyers". To anyone looking to move, do your research. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is. This company likes to pull what they call a "bait and switch", and believe me when I tell you this review is missing a lot of things that SHOULD be in here. Like our missing and broken items, etc. ALSO make sure to read their low rated reviews, which they may try and block now so no one sees our review and any other reviews posted, like they did on their facebook page. Moving Relocation Systems, LLC we hope to hear from you after this review. THANK YOU :) .... Also I submitted this review back in september of 2022 seems like they took it down. BUT im resubmitting it today on 1/9/2023.

Great Job!!

On behalf of myself and family, thank you for making my move seamless, organized, on time and on budget. Your team was incredibly thoughtful, punctual and delivered exceptional service during my recent move. In a place where I have had terrible experiences in the past your team delivered utmost customer service. Great Experience.

My contact person was Mark.  My experience with Moving Relocation Systems was great.  They kept me informed every step of the way with my move from New jersey to Washington . The men who came out to pack and load the truck were very courageous and professional, and made you feel comfortable.  They took extra care of my belongings, and rapped my breakable so they would not get broken.   thank you so much for making my move stress free.  When you moved my sister from New York to Arizona, which was a Hugh task with success, I knew this was the moving company for me.

It went very smoothly.

The moving team was great. They were so professional and represented your company well. These guys deserve a pat on the back. They were so polite and courteous and you could tell that they worked very well together. If one guy was doing something and needed help the other guys just jumped in and helped. You could tell they respected each other and respected their jobs and just wanted to do a great job. I would very highly recommend your company again. You have great people working for you and they represent your company name well. Thank you and your team for such great service and for helping our move go smoothly.

Long-distance move from Maryland to Michigan

Delivered as promised and fast.

I recently moved from the DC area to the Ann Arbor, MI area. I got spammed with 20 different quotes and promises and lots of different numbers were thrown at me. The people at Moving Relocation Systems said when they first talked to me that they weren't going to be the lowest price but they were going to keep all their promises and keep in touch with me. After checking out a lot of reviews I decided to go with them. They were somewhere in the middle with the quotes.

They kept in contact with me along the way. I received multiple phone calls before hand, during, and after. I even received a QA phone call from someone completely different during the move. The truck drivers also called me and texted me letting me know their progress.

The truck drivers packed up everything ridiculously quickly and kept better care of my stuff than I do. Everything got wrapped and blanketed and taped. They even wrapped up my cats cat tree. Who does that? Well, they did and everything else and were packed before I could barely blink. I apparently underestimated how much stuff I had and had 608 sq ft instead of 400. They gave me the rate I was quoted per sq ft so while it was more it was completely understandable why. I honestly had no clue how much stuff I had accumulated.

My stuff obviously changed trucks between leaving and arriving but everything looks perfect and well taken care of. The guys who dropped off the stuff were somehow even faster than the people who picked it up. Which is amazing since there was 1 less guy. They also texted me with status updates. They were also incredibly nice, helpful, made sure all my stuff was placed where I wanted it, put together items.

I can't say enough good things about this company. Use them if you can.

Moving and storing.

The staff at the moving relocation systems were very polite specially Mike at the customer service and the sales Rep, Rob. They moved our items to their storage at first and then moved them to another state. They try their best to work it out for you. A few tips to avoid conflicts and confusion would be to count your boxes and items before you sign the list of items being transferred and also to understand what your agreement says about floor level and steps.

Long-distance move from Bronx, NY to West Palm Beach, FL

Satisfied.

I hired Moving Relocation Systems for a move to Florida from New York. I loved that they gave an understandable price and the sales and office people were super-responsive with questions I had as the move-day approached - I'd never hired a moving company before, so there were all sorts of things I didn't know. When moving day came, the guys showed up on-time, were informed, and when an issue came up, the operations manager was right on it and we came up with a solution that made everyone happy. The furniture and boxes was packed and handled very carefully and the crew had a real attention to the details of each item. My Bronx apartment had some tight corners and I remember how hard it was to navigate on the move in - but I didn't hear a peep about it on my move out! These guys are ninjas.

The movers were experienced, respectful, sweet and communicative. They knew their job and were also super-efficient. I was so happy with the result - it made my moving day go from potentially super-stressful to relatively stress-free! Some folks on here say they're a little spendy, but I didn't feel that way. It was worth every penny to feel I could trust my day with a company and have such a smooth experience. THANK YOU!!

Exceptional Service.

What a great choice I made choosing this company! I received a promotion at my IT job, while excited, relocating long distance was a first for me. I started to do my research online. That was not fun after the 100th call! Once I talked to as many people as a I could, I narrowed it down to 3. I ended up choosing Moving Relocation Systems, based on their honesty, customer service, and reputation. My representatives Josh and Dylan were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They kept in contact with me from the moment I paid my reservation deposit, up until move day. They were readily available to answer any questions I had or succumb any anxieties I had. I received a call from the dispatch department a few days before my move to confirm the pick up dates and times. Even though we had to use my back up pick up date, the movers showed up on time. They were extremely helpful and handled my items with care! The delivery of my items was earlier than I expected. I would definitely use Moving Relocation Systems again!

Second time experience.

Over the past couple of years I have moved twice. The first time I came across Moving Relocation was before my first move. I went along and used them because I had heard great things. My move was nothing huge but it needed some work, once I got Moving Relocation involved it all went smoothly. About a year later I had to relocate again, I didn’t hesitate to call Moving Relocation again. Sure enough the service for my second move was even better than the first time.

Long-distance move from Baltimore, MD to Greenville, SC

Disappointed with the whole process July 13, 2018.

1st off I went with this company because Glen was very convincing in that not only are they the "mover but also the carrier"! NOT TRUE. I think it was his way to sell his business in that he never disclosed the fact that I would not get my items until 10 day later even though I was only moving 539miles from my pick up location. AS a matter of fact when Jennifer called to ask me when I would like my stuff delivered and I said Sat July 14th she smirked and laughed like that is not happening she told me on that I would not have to wait for my stuff and asked who told me that. Please read Claire Handleman this happened to me except my payment when from $2100 to another $1647 and they charged me for packing material even though I had already packed my stuff. Believe me they want your stuff packed in boxes because its going to a Warehouse until some other company picks it up and brings it to you. And they want to add their charges to carry your stuff up to your new house. And Glen disappears and NO ONE calls you back ever. Read the reviews before you sign anything with this company they don't estimate correctly and they are not the mover of your stuff.

They will RIP YOU OFF!

If you like surprises, use these people.
I was given one price on the phone by their rep Thomas when they were trying to get my business. THE QUOTED PRICE INCLUDED EXTRA $$ FOR THEM TO DO THE PACKING. Nobody came to my house, he estimated the space needed for my move over the phone. I called a week later and paid extra to buy more space. The supervisor Robert said I had plenty of room and if I went over, I could just pay for more space because there would be room on the truck. When the movers got to my house, they immediately DEMANDED $900 EXTRA FOR PACKING THAT I HAD ALREADY PAID FOR or they would NOT continue! It was a Sunday and I could not get anyone on the phone, neither the rep nor the supervisor. After an hour delay while the movers sat in the truck, I ended up having to leave behind items that I had specifically told them about so as to not have to pay $900 extra and to get the movers started. Well by the end of the day, the head guy had tacked on $900 anyway and if I didn't sign and agree to the charges, I would never see my furniture again. They got to a certain point in the move and told me I had used up my space. The driver REFUSED TO TAKE THE REST OF MY BELONGINGS even though he admitted that he had plenty of room on the truck! They failed to pack essential items that I pointed out to them but instead packed things that were not supposed to be moved. They were terrible. My only saving grace is that my house is still listed for sale and I was able to leave the items behind. I will now have to pay someone else to move them. When my furniture got to FL, the first thing I told the mover before they started was to put down some type of padding on the floor because I had just installed brand new flooring. He said there wouldn't be a problem, the hand truck had wheels and would not scratch. Well they didn't put my treadmill on the hand truck and instead drug it to the room and a sharp edge scratched my brand new floors. Repeated voicemail messages left have went unanswered. Do yourself a favor, DO NOT USE these unprofessional rip off artists.

Local move within New York

Unprofessional_Overpriced_Uneasy experience.

This company is incredibly unprofessional, really upset with the company for the reasons listed below:

I moved across the country for a a new job and felt the need for a moving company.

What I was told over the phone during the sales call was completely fabricated.

1.) I was told specifically when my belongings would leave to ship out and in reality it sat in a warehouse for 2 plus weeks before it was sent to my new address.
-During this time I was literally sleeping on the floor unaware my belongings were still on the other side of the country. I was never informed anything would sit in a warehouse and I certainly didn't pay for this.
2.) I was lied to on three separate occasions on when my shipment would leave NYC and the truck driver told me when he left with my belongings (this was not one of the promised shipment dates from the office in NJ). He left 2 days after "customer service told me my delivery left.
3.) It was impossible to get a hold of anyone on the phone and when I did there was an an attitude given to me by who ever did finally answer.
4.) Christian in sales specifically told me that for the final payment due to the delivery team would NOT be required BEFORE the truck driver unloaded my belongings, in reality the driver would not give me my belongings unless I paid him in cash outside by the truck, NOT when the move was fully done. This was extremely uncomfortable as I paid all balances as requested prior to the final delivery and even tipped both the pick up and drop off crew.
5.) It was a full 21 days that I had to wait for my belongings even though Christian in sales noted that I wanted my shipment expedited. He even told me the last names of the other families that would be on the same truck as mine to the same final destination state. He told me it needed to be picked up my a certain date so it would be able to ship out the next day with the other families on the same truck going to the same end state.

This process for my job relocation was the most uneasy, un professional, stressful aspects of my move. I also don't like how this company overbooks themselves and

Your final delivery is contracted out to someone who simply owns an 18 wheeler truck. He then simply finds an illegal immigrant to go along for the ride to "assist" in unloading your final delivery.

This company disgusts me and I do not recommend it to anyone, especially someone relocating across the country who doesn't have family in their new location or access to any type of furniture in the meantime.

My mattress was also sliced into, I bought a clear mattress bag but the mover thought it was just plastic wrap. He sliced into it as he tore a part of the mattress.

My move was literally 5 boxes and 5 pieces of furniture which was one studio to another.

Long-distance move from New Jersey to Florida

Move from haidies.

I called Moving Relocation System to help me with my move from NJ to FL.

I was told that because of the size of the move once the truck was loaded it would go back to the company, get a new drivers and start down.

The moving men decided that all my packed and taped boxes needed to be retaped. This I was charged for and they through the empty rolls all over the place. They put boxes inside of boxes and toys and other items with fragile items. Needless to say alot of items were broken. One of the men actually asked for a piece of furniture that I had. Not needed so I said ok. But I didn't think he was going to pack it and charge me to move it for him. Also there were boxes and other items left at the property I was moving from.

When we arrived at our new property we figured that the truck would be there the next day. .. we didn't see it for almost 2 weeks. We called numerous times and kept getting the same answer. .. don't know were the truck is.. we are trying to get ahold of mthe driver.

When it did arrive we noticed that we were charged well over what we were originally told. There was a lot of charges added to the original price.

We were able to get some removed but was told that if we did not pay we were not going to get our property.

Upon going through our belongings 2 rings were stolen and we had almost all the lg items damaged and numerous box and toats broken.

I took pictures of every item damaged and called the company. Originally they seemed eager to assist us..then they kept pushing the days and explaination to why we couldn't get things replaced or fixed.

Now we are months from the move, I filed a complaint with DOT and with their insurance and have not heard anything. When I noticed that the ring was missing and called them they couldn't have been more rude and told me they didn't care if I got an attorney because for every one attorney I would have. .they have 11.
They also said that if yI wanted them to pay for the rings I would have to sign an agreement that would not allow me to make any complaints or hold them liable for any of the damages caused by the movers.

The man who I spoke with was Mike and he is the rudest man and he acts like a bully the way he pushes you to have to do what he says or your not going to get help with anything.

If you like your belongings and cherish what you have do not use this company they will lie and cheat you. And sadly enough you may lose a lot of things that mean something to you.

I am still fighting with them and Mike told me to be happy with what they offered me for the rings because I will not receive anything else. I have been trying to get copies of the paperwork but they will not send it to me. So do yourself a huge favor go to the DOT website and get a honest company to move you. I don't want to see anyone else go through such a stressful and humiliated situation as I am going through.

Long-distance move from Connecticut to Virginia

Move from Connecticut to Virginia.

Moving Relocation Systems did a phenomenal job in moving my mom from Connecticut to Virginia!! From the the very beginning of the process they were extremely pleasant and professional! There were no surprises or extra fees, they were straight foward as fas as pricing. In addition the pricing was definitely more than reasonable and affordable! This company prices fared better than all the other companies that I researched! Richard my contact person was fantastic in the starting stages of the moving process.
The moving crew not only was on time but early! On top of that there were courteous and professional! They were organized and very efficient in their approach. This crew of three men worked diligently from start to finish without a break! Three floors of furniture and merchandise were stored in the truck with care and attention to detail! Large furniture pieces were wrapped exceptionally well!!
Laslty, after everything was placed on the truck, they were still made sure if was satisfied with their job not to mention they fit everything on the truck. The cherry on top was when the crew member told me that the furniture would be there tomorrow(the day after the move), wow!! The crew arrived to the Virginia residence at around 11am and moved everything in with the same amount of care and attention to detail just like before! Any furniture that needed to be put back together was taken care of! There was furniture also moved to a storage unit by my request, it was a great amount of items that the head crew member made fit extremely well!
It was a great pleasure working with Moving Relocation Systems!! I Will recommend them to any of my friends, family, colleagues, or anyone who wants a five star moving company! Thank you for moving my mom and making experience stressless and very easy!!

Long-distance move from Maryland to Virginia

Unprofessional and Careless.

When I initially spoke with Dylan at Moving Relocation System I felt that I was in good hands. Unfortunately, my experiences in speaking with the various individuals at the company I quickly became unsettled. I was given a step-by-step procedure that was supposed to be followed, but it didn't seem that the staff wanted to follow it. I was told I would be contacted at certain intervals prior to the move, but was not. Another example: I was told verbally and via email, to contact the company if my inventory of items changed so the appropriate size truck would be used. I spoke with company staff four times to let them know I needed to update my inventory. Each person I spoke with told me not to worry, just tell the driver when he came to pick up the items. I should have worried. The truck used was too small for all of my inventory, so things were crammed in the truck and I had to put several items in my van. The pickup driver and crew didn't seem to care about my concerns about the packing of my belongings. I will say that they did wrap everything, even items I had already wrapped, and the dispatcher was very flexible in changing the moving dates for me.

I feel that the delivery driver and crew were very careless with my belongings. Boxes were tossed and dropped on the driveway. The youngest of the three workers was very careless bringing items into the house and broke one of the glass panels in the entryway chandelier, plus he tried to hide the fact that he broke it. The crew lead was very cavalier telling me I could easily find a replacement at Lowes. I had to insist he take a photo as evidence and he was to report the accident to his boss. No one wanted to take responsibility for what had happened. It's been two weeks and I have not heard word one from anyone addressing this issue. Also, when the youngest one was unwrapping my three floor lamps, he was just ripping and pulling the protective cloth off. Unfortunately it wasn't until after they had left, that I noticed that of the arms on one floor lamp were broken and another floor lamp misshapen.

In speaking with every person at the company that I came in contact with, I advised them that I had a VERY, VERY steep driveway. When the delivery driver called to let me know when he was coming, I again stressed the steepness of the driveway and that he might need to back up the driveway. I suggested he might want to walk up the driveway before bringing the truck up, and he did. I understand that it was a large moving van, but I would have thought an experienced driver would know how to maneuver within tight spaces. Guess not. It took over an hour for the driver to get out of the driveway, but not after laying several patches of rubber on the driveway and driving the van through my property coming within 2 inches of running over my well casing.

I know that this review gives a poor reflection of this company, but it is my feeling that people should have a strong work ethic and take pride in their work, no matter the job or pay. I find it a shame, and unfortunately rampant, that people don't care about others, only themselves. Frankly, I believe that if you don't want to serve people, do not work in the service industry!

Long-distance move from New York to Wisconsin

Move from NY to WI.

My family and I moved from NY to WI recently. They did a wonderful job moving everything out without damaging our home (which we just sold) and were very careful with my fragile items. Our furniture arrived to WI in good condition. Obviously there were expected wear and tear on the boxes from a long distance move but we had no damages! Completely unexpected! I would recommend to try them out if you have a long distance move. Tips: pack accordingly, give them the right amount of products (my price quoted was very close to my end cost), and warn them of any fragile or sensitive items.

You Guys Are Awesome !

When my husband and I first decided to move we were considering the move on our own. We later decided against it and I have to say this was probably the best decision we could have made. We hired a company called moving relocation systems. They helped us move all of our items with such professionalism and courtesy I was amazed. I was at first, very concerned about using a professional moving company as I had heard some really bad stories from people before, but when we looked at the reviews we decided to go with them. What an awesome decision it was. They made our move so much easier and handled our items very carefully. They were very thorough with the move and made sure all items made it and were not scratched or broken during the move. I couldn’t be happier with them. You guys are awesome.. thank you so much for the help guys. I will definitely use you guys again! Excellent experience for my family.

Long-distance move from Brooklyn, NY to Bridgeport, CT

Moving.

I have booked with moving relocation systems two times now, while living in New York. The first one was within my first house in Brooklyn NY and my second move was about 2 years later to Connecticut. I had a great experience both times so I decided leave them a review here.
Booking the moves were pretty straight forward and easy both times. I emailed back and fourth with Dylan a few times to iron out all of the details and make sure all my questions were addressed. I shopped around for some estimates and these estimates were the cheapest both times.
The crew showed up right on time. They introduced themselves and were friendly and easy to work with. The team worked hard until every item got unloaded. I bought water and some snacks for them throughout the day. They wouldn't even stop to drink some water! I definitely appreciate the full effort. I also received follow ups from Dylan throughout the process. The total cost both times stayed around the same based on everything else.
My experience overall was a great one and I am glad that it worked out both times.
