Looking for Movers can be extremely stressful. I had called around quite a few places. Some people would not even respond back, but when I spoke with Mo he really set my mind at ease, and I immediately decided to use this company. He helped me every step of the way of the process. What I really appreciated is whatever I was quoted was exactly how much I was charged, but I did ask questions. If there’s something you don’t understand ask. When the price was not where I needed it to be, Mo took the time to explain what increased my price and how I can bring it down to where I needed it to be that was super helpful. I felt Mo was very honest with me quality that many companies are lacking today.

When you follow their instructions on packing, it allows the entire moving process to function smoothly. There was accuracy on the total cost so no surprise on the final price for moving items. Mo and his team of professionals are reputable and reliable in their moving services from start to finish. Mo and Teddy are patient in explaining the entire moving process which alleviated my anxious, worrisome energy because of a lifestyle change moving to a new state for the first time. At the start, Mo clearly explained everything to prepare for this move, following up with detailed information in email communications. If I had any questions or concerns, Mo and Teddy could be contacted via office call or mobile call for clarification. Over communicating was extremely beneficial and appreciated from a client perspective because Mo/Teddy efficiently and effectively resolved my inquiries to my complete satisfaction. Each of my boxes had a bright yellow label with a number and tracking barcode for a client to know the status of their belongings en route. I received text messaging for frequent updates which I appreciated to inform me. My cherished photos, sentimental, valuable belongings arrived at the destination on our agreed upon timeline. My move from Hawaii to the mainland was relatively small (household plus my car - door to door) and the initial response to my online request for a quote was overwhelming. I was trying to find someone local whom I could trust to treat me fairly and I was receiving numerous phone calls and emails, some with no response when I told them the size of the move. I emailed Mo and from there everything went smoothly - from quoting, to inventory and lastly the pickup and delivery. Every point of contact along the way was responsive and I was continually updated on where my shipment was with updates on the estimated delivery date. Everything was delivered with nothing missing or broken. I highly recommend Hawaiian Moving Pros for their personal attention to my moving needs, and their excellent follow through and constant communication during the process. I recently moved from Oahu to Los Angeles, and michael from Hawaii moving pros made everything so easy. I was a little nervous because I needed my antique grandfather clock that had been passed down to me to be shipped aswell. He was upfront about the pricing with no hidden fees which I really appreciated. The crew was professional, careful, and respectful with all my belongings. moving from the islands to the mainland can be stressful but michael made the whole process smooth. I highly recommend this company.

I had a smallish move from Oahu to Virginia and it was my first time using a moving company. Josh and Mike in the Hawaii office were very helpful and gave me the information I needed to make a decision. The contracted movers in Honolulu and on the U.S. continent were great. The man who delivered my items (M. Cohen) went above and beyond to make sure I didn't have to pay extra for the smaller moving van (even though his truck was pretty big for my street) and for distance and stairs (it was a few stairs, but he definitely could have charged me for these if he wanted to). I packed my own things except the bed and a small wooden table. The movers reinforced my plastic tubs with tape so the lids would stay on. Nothing was lost and a couple of small glass kitchen items broke but it was on me since I packed them. Overall it was an easier experience than I would've expected.

Move from HI to NH, ended terribly. Only needed a moving company to transport 1 piece of furniture. The entire reasoning behind hiring movers was to get a 90 lbs tv stand from Hawaii to New Hampshire and have them carry it into the new place. After spending over $4,500, and packing all of my own things so they just needed to load the truck, they managed to lose the largest and most notable item. When it came time for delivery, the service rep told me one day, then when that day arrived the driver called and told me the next day. Very frustrating to have to continuously accommodate their inability to communicate. Delivery day comes, and at the time the truck was supposed to be arriving, the driver calls to inform me he has just woken up and will not be arriving for another hour. Additionally, he tried multiple times to say his truck would not fit in the loading dock at the unit and that I needed to pay another $400. I understand this is the policy, however the 73' truck fit perfectly fine in the loading dock that is literally designed for trucks like that. Once he was done unloading the now beat up boxes, (a 1 man delivery team - maybe they just didn't want to carry the tv stand so they "lost it") we asked about the missing item and we were told the warehouse would be checked and we would receive a call back with information. This call never came and we had to settle with the claim for less than half the price. I highly recommend shopping around for other companies, and not wasting your money on this one.
