We used Hawaiian Moving Pros to ship our goods from California to the Big Island. I appreciated their communication and clarity from the very beginning to the end; from giving us our quote, setting up the move date, confirmation check-ins leading up to the move date, and update of our goods in transit and delivery. Estimate quotes and actual moving prices were very reasonable for our situation and amount of goods. Updates came through as phone calls and emails; very thorough and helpful. Their moving teams are friendly and professional. Pack out and delivery times were quick! We also used them for auto shipping for our Subaru Forester as well.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1100

I've waited some time to write this review, but from the moment I spoke to May on the phone she was very helpful and kind. She explained the process and I was able to secure dates for my pick up in California to Hawaii 3 months in advance. Once my boxes and furniture were picked up it took 4 weeks for them to arrive safely. I just unpacked my last box and I am extremely happy with the customer service and the way my goods were handled from beginning to end. I strongly recommend Hawaii moving pros for your upcoming move! Thank you so much I love Hawaii and hope I never have to move AGAIN!!

I’m not going to lie I was a bit skeptical only because I’ve been burned in the passed by a moving company but I can say I had a wonderful experience with Hawaii moving pros they seem to have a great team there they handled my move from the beginning to the end. I was on a time frame to receive my household items and they were able to work within my time frame and get them delivered in a safe and timely manner thanks guys I appreciate the hard work and effort I will definitely recommend you guys to my fellow colleagues.

Move size: 4+ Bedroom Home Service cost: $10250

Professional rip offs.. They are great, almost overbearing, until they get your items and then you can’t get hold of them, they never call you back, you can talk to 5 people and still not get your issue handled. They will always tell you that someone will call you back, if you have a problem but no one ever does. They over charged me and then told me that I could get a refund but after that NO ONE ever called me back. It has been 11 months and today I tried again to see if I could talk to the owner before doing something like leaving this kind of review.

“Michael” answered again, first he transferred me to a mail box that wanted the mailbox number, which, of course, “Michael” didn’t give to me before he so rudely transferred me to that number. Then when I called back, he didn’t answer and when I called a 3rd time he hung up on me after asking me for my order number and then would not answer when I tried to call back again. I have tried for 11 months to resolve my issue with them but they won’t ever call me back or let me speak with the owner or with someone who CAN DO something so I now feel like it is my responsibility to let people know that THIS IS NOT THE COMPANY TO USE when you are moving.. and on social media I will be posting pictures of my boxes to further discourage people from becoming their next victim. I will also be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

I wish I had seen these reviews before I gave them my money.

I left one star because it won’t let me remove it. Worst moving company, use someone else.

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: $3800

I moved from Honolulu to LA and had a decent size move. This company was the only company who returned my quote inquiry and they did a phenomenal job with the move. All my items were intact and nothing was missing. The movers from Hawaii and California were very friendly, fast, careful, and did a great job. They wrapped and unwrapped all the furniture, TVs, beds, etc with blankets and boxes. I felt like my items were safe and secure. My moving coordinator, James, was the best! He called me every week to check in with me and he was very helpful throughout the whole process. My shipment took about a month and the price was better than i thought it would be. I highly recommend Hawaii moving pros to anyone who is moving between the mainland and Hawaii. Thank you James and team!

From the beginning of my relocation from Hawaii to California there was multiple miscommunication on the companies part that they conveniently pass the blame into me. Upon delivery of my items in California it appears that my sleep number bed was slashed and my 70 inch television destroyed. I paid them to pack and moved my items. They took photos of the good/excellent condition items and prior to packing and shipping. So I submitted a claim for replacement or reimbursement but instead was offered an insulting about of .60 cents per pound for the items. Apparently they don’t a) want to the right thing 2) don’t value their customers 3) don’t value the money earned for the items.

Bed valued at over $6000.00 - $60.00

Smart TV 70 inch valued around

$ 899.00 - they offered $90.00

This is a horrible!! They will tell you what you want to hear. Once you have signed the contract things go south. Believe the poor reviews. I didn't and I suffered for it. A computer monitor missing (stolen?). A 55" monitor damaged; cracked from edge-to-edge. Once they deliver your goods and leave as fast as they can, they go silent if you need to talk about damaged goods. Was assured my e-bike with battery could be moved. I had to leave this $2500 bike behind because the mover refused to put it on the truck even though we were continually assured it could go as long as the lithium battery was in a steel box, which it was. The rep outright lied. The manager says he bent over backwards for me, yet I paid for a service I did not receive. The lady that takes payment is just plain rude; just pay your money and shut up. I wanted to cancel but they started doing these things when we were too close to the move date and I didn't have time to hire a different company. PLEASE believe the bad reviews and look elsewhere!

Awesome company! I’ve never used a moving company in the past when moving (just used USPS and sold/gave away bigger items) but this time around we wanted to use a moving/shipping co. because we had items with sentimental value and with the economy right now we didn’t want to rebuy everything. I received a lot of calls and quotes from various companies but Hawaii Moving Pros was the only one that actually worked with me to bring down the price by telling me what the price would be minus this or that item. In the end I was able to ship 10 med size boxes, 4 15-gallon Rubbermaid containers, and enough furniture to be completely satisfied. Total was apprx $3,450. The pick up from Portland was smooth and the movers took care of our items; drop off was also smooth. No broken or missing items, and being in Portland I believe they had to transport our goods to CA first before shipping out. I had already told myself to expect a crushed box or broken items because it‘s a long distance move, but everything arrived the same way it was picked up! I will say that we were very intentional in the way we packed our boxes, leaving no empty space in our boxes to help avoid them being crushed by weight and movement; the movers actually commented saying we did a good job packing our boxes.I worked with Mo in the beginning who was so kind and helped with figuring out the pricing. Then we worked with Edward (super nice and friendly, too) who coordinated the entire move to and from. Both stayed in communication with us 100% of the time, which really eased my anxiety. There were a few times when I called to follow up but it had more to do with my anxiety vs. them not being in contact — and each time I called they were friendly and reassuring. Payment was a breeze, and they are very clear with their instructions. I would totally recommend Hawaii Moving Pros!

Moved from LA to Oahu and my items came in less than 30 days. Movers in LA were awesome. They wrapped everything so well and we’re great with the cubic feet. My items came under 30 days and not one item was broken. I have an ikea mirror, ikea dresser, Tv stand and coffee table. All particle board and not one thing broke. I was extremely impressed. Not one thing lost either. Honestly I’m still impressed on how easy and honest this whole process was. I highly recommend Hawaii Moving Pros.
