Salesman was very attentive and easy to reach. Once I scheduled my move and made the deposit that was the end of the good service. Could never reach my move coordinator, didn’t get confirmation of move date until 3 days before the move. Even though I made an inventory, the packers that showed up with a truck to small for all my stuff so I had to lose $2k in kayaks, a garage shelf and a luggage rack for our car. We were given a very unrealistic time from which was missed. Almost two months later we were told our items were arrived and given a 5 day delivery window. I prepared for the move and scheduled leave. Our items were finally delivered two weeks after the window after several excuses.

Upon delivery the truck showed up 3 hours late with our stuff stuffed in it like a teenagers closet. Broken mirrors, crushed filing cabinets, missing hardware, broken dresser, and a wrecked motorcycle is just a small list of what was ruined. We were told they would offer extra insurance on pick up which they never did. If offered I would have bought it since they only pay $0.60 per pound for the item that is ruined. I paid $500 for my motorcycle to be crated and they paid me $420 for the $2,600 damage they caused on it. Over $4k in damage total and they wrote me saying how bad they felt about everything and they were going above and beyond to make it right.

These guys hire the worst movers and don’t care about your items, do not use them!

It started with a phone call in early February and from that first call I received nothing but complete competence, understanding and patience. I first talked to Chris and if my call wasn't answered on the first ring or two my call was immediately returned without me even leaving a message. Chris answered all my questions and sent a bid right away.

He then told me he would call me back at a designated date and time, and did so right on time. Over several months I must have made at least 6 changes and not 1 time did he get upset with them or become impatient. He then introduced me to Miguel, who took over with the next leg of my move.

Miguel was just as wonderful to work with in this process.

When the time came to work on my finances for the move, I was directed to Alondra. She helped me every step of the way with timing and how to pay on line, she was also awesome.

The guys the showed up to load and also unload the trucks where super fast a efficient.

All in all I would highly recommend this company for any move you are planning in your life. I would use them again in a minute.

This was a great experience, I had anxiety for moving to Hawaii, let alone what to take and how I was going to get it all put together. I found HMP and my anxiety was put to rest. Professional, Dependable and hand held me throughout the move. I'm big on customer service, and HMP hit it out of the park, continued updates and ontime scheduling that made all the difference in the world.

I would highly recommend HMP if you are moving to Hawaii, don't take a chance with other movers, just worry about how many shorts to bring and how many flip flops.

We used Hawaiian Moving Pros because they offered us a consolidated shipment at a smaller cost that other companies wanted to charge us. We didn't have much furniture (a Sleep Number king size bed was the main item), plus about 70 boxes. We found the cost was well worth the move. The company that picked up our items was from Dallas and was absolutely wonderful. On the Hawaii end, the group that unloaded us was also great. Would definitely recommend this company for your moving needs.

From the onset of contacting Hawaiian Moving Pros, the process went very smoothly. I especially appreciated the constant communication from the moving coordinator, Chris, then James when the items were picked up from CA, placed on the shipping vessels then delivered to us in Hawaii. The crew of men at both locations who physically moved our items were professional, courteous, and helpful. I have already recommended this company to friends of ours.

I was living in Houston, Texas and had to move to Hawaii on very short notice for nursing school , less than a weeks notice. I had never made an overseas move like this before and they made the move very smooth. Communication was great and they walked me through every step of the the moving process. I had a lot of stuff, I think roughly over 600square feet of stuff. All of my stuff made it good. They did tell me it could take up to 45 business days for my stuff to arrive, my stuff made it to Hawaii in 35 business days on less than a weeks notice. I would definitely recommend them and if I do move out of Hawaii someday I’ll definitely have them do my move again.

I have recommended Hawaiian Moving Pros to friends and to my children. Some extensive comparison research for price and customer satisfaction did not yield a better price, and all of the customer reviews for all moving companies were fairly equal.

I called the Hawaiian Moving Pros and spoke with Mo. He was friendly yet professional, taking the time to explain their processes. I booked and was assigned James as my customer service representative. James was attentive and responsive. Refreshingly, James answered or returned my calls immediately every time I had a question. To speak with the same person, who understood the specifics of my move and needs, was a rare level service not experienced with any other company in recent memory. I was informed and comfortable with the entire process. Best of all, all of belongings were delivered in perfect condition ahead of schedule.

We had the most excellent service when we moved from our home in Northern California to our new home in Kona, Hawaii. At both locations their crew was excellent in packing our furniture and then unpacking it. There were no flaws or damage and all pieces were accounted for. As our furniture moved from port to port we were kept informed by the customer service people. I had excellent communication with all of the staff and received a quick follow up to any inquiry I had. I highly recommend Hawaiian Moving Pros for this type of move.

I was very happy with the services we received from Hawaii Moving Pros. I was a little nervous seeing reviews about them not being responsive, but that was absolutely not the case for us. The team was communicative - leading up to the move, they called to check in to see if I had a moving date (I transferred with my company) every few weeks, and when it finally happened, they gave me regular updates while our stuff was in-transit.

Unfortunately, our things were shipped from Oahu to Long Beach, then Matson wouldn't release our items for over a month... finally HMP notified me they found out it was because Matson accidentally shipped our stuff BACK to Oahu, and then had to send it BACK to Long Beach. It was very frustrating, but I understood that this was no fault of HMP, and it was out of their hands. I still appreciated that they kept me in the loop about it as soon as they found out what was going on.

When our stuff finally arrived, a lot of the boxes were smashed (we used a combination of cardboard and plastic boxes), but all of the contents inside were intact. I mostly attribute the box damage to the THREE trips our stuff made across the Pacific Ocean, but I'm not upset because to me, that's just the price of having the stuff inside come safe and sound.

All in all, I would use HMP again, and I would recommend them to friends and family.

From beginning to end I had a great experience with the company. I mostly worked with Chris and Miguel. They were amazing and helped throughout this entire process. Chris was great with answering all of my initial questions which infirm helped me choose the company. Miguel in particular was very helpful constantly keeping me updated on the movers, how long I could store my items FOR FREE, and when my packages would arrive. Tia was great at helping me understand the billing. Tyler was very helpful with reaching out to me after everything was completed to ask me how the move went and how they could improve. My boxes came within the time range that they said it would which was great! Some of my boxes were damaged when they arrived, but my actual things were still intact. I blame the boxes more than the movers and works recommended getting heavy duty boxes over standard boxes. Either way 10/10 would recommend this company. Thank you to everyone for your hard work!

The whole moving team from start to finish was great. I never had any issues with getting in contact with anyone. Chris & Richard always kept me in the loop with my belongings & car. The movers when picking up made sure everything was barcoded and accounted for. I had A LOT! When the item were delivered, all boxes were in pretty good condition & accounted for. All movers in both ends were quick and efficient with loading and unloading. Only one thing broke but that was most likely because I didn't package it properly. Everything was even delivered 2 weeks earlier than what I was quoted which was amazing! The move got a little pricy with the costs of shipment and tips for all movers, but it was worth it when I received all my boxes. Make sure to tip your movers when they pick up and deliver! If I ever move again, I will for sure be hiring Hawaii Moving Pros for my next move inter-island or back to the main land.Mahalo!

We used Hawaii moving pros from Bay Area to Maui recently. They were the only company I called that not only called me back but answered all my questions. Some places took weeks to get quote back. Everyone on both ends of move were polite helpful and considerate with our possessions. We plan to move the rest of our things in summer with Hawaii Moving pros. We were very happy with how smoothly it went from the Sales contact to guys doing the work placing furniture and boxes into each room.

We hired hawaii moving pros because they cold called us since we were getting quotes for moving to Hawaii. They offered which seemed a reasonable price since they would be doing the moving. Nevermind the pricing but the professionalism that was shown was absolutely egregious. One of the movers got into a fight with my neighbor after hitting my neighbors balcony with the truck. If you crash into someone's property you don't go fighting with thar person. The professional thing would have been to apologize and offer to fix it. It turned into a screaming match where the police were called, and the movers decided to pack up and leave with part of my items. They refused to move us because they got into a fight with my neighbor, after the mover antagonized her. We had to scramble to come to a resolution and had to make many calls to get the move done. No one cared about us, the movers claimed they were scared for their safety but really they didn't want to finish the job. It was super stressful they put me in a bad situation with my apartments and my neighbor then had the audacity to take our stuff and leave with no receipt of it! And to top it off no one will return our phone calls to speak to us about the situation.

I chose Hawaii Moving Pros because they were the only company to keep in touch with me when I was researching and comparing prices. Mo was my agent, and he was very thorough when figuring out the volume of my move to give me a quote. Daniel kept in touch with me after that and made sure everything was going smoothly. If I had a concern, he addressed it right away. My belongings arrived ahead of schedule and in great shape. The crew that delivered them was very professional and friendly. I interviewed several companies and they all had about the same price. I went with the company that I felt would deliver the best communication and customer service during and after the move.

Outstanding communication with this moving company and its workers. The initial crew provided terrific help and service in wrapping and boxing the contents of a 3-bedroom house (TVs, furniture, tools, etc.). The delivery to California went without a hitch, with only one small item broken in the process (perhaps due to my poor packing). Extremely satisfied with HMP and will be using their services again as I have one more shipment to be made from Hawaii to California.

Moving back home to Oahu from Los Angeles was definitely stressful, especially thinking about all our stuff going back across the ocean. The whole prices was pretty smooth, and all our stuff got here within the month. I received timely updates throughout the whole process and could easily contact the company. I made time to connect with our movers by talking story, offering drinks, making food, and doing coffee runs. I don’t think people understand how hard these guys need to physically work all day. Please treat them well because they are doing all the stuff you don’t want to do. A+++ service from top to bottom.

The customer service people were great, but they could do nothing about the poor handling of my furniture in transit, which wasn't discovered until landing in Hawaii. They made me feel confident that all would go well so I did not buy insurance. Two 20+ year accent chairs were damaged, one un-repairable. They are not replaceable. Two pineapple lamps crushed on the top due to improper handling. The damage to the chairs indicates they were probably dropped as the foot was sheared off. Very disappointing. Not worth filing a claim for 60 cents/pound. I would not recommend this company.
