I would highly recommend HMP to anyone. Chris and Daniel were helpful in guiding me through the stress of moving. I was especially impressed with the movers in San Jose. They were efficient, professional and protected my things from damage. A word of advice; If you are packing your own stuff, don’t overload. A few of my boxes were torn but my things were still in tact. Reinforcing the carrying holes may help. Every step of the move went smoothly except no one communicated that my stuff would be arriving until the movers called and told me that they were on the way. Despite this minor annoyance, overall, my experience with HMP was excellent.

This move would have been stressful, but Moving Pros made the transition extremely easy. From start to finish, Mo and the entire team walked us through the process and kept us updated as to when they would pick up our household goods and when it would arrive in California awaiting delivery. We liked that we had an option to wait an additional 30 days after CA arrival to get our household goods delivered. Luckily, we did not have to wait that long. David and Rubyn were great in bringing the items up 14 flights of stairs. Both our vehicles were shipped at the same time and arrived at the same time in California. I would highly recommend Moving Pros for moving household and cars. Great customer service!

Aloha! I had a great experience with HMP. My initial contact was with Chris. He answered my request for a quote and was very helpful in determining an accurate price. He was patient and understanding as I had a lot to do with such a big move. Axel was the next contact who set up our pick up. The moving crew that was sent to our home were great! They were kind, respectful, helpful in packing up odd items like keyboard and other items. They worked hard and fast. After the pick up I received email updates of the location of our things. Once It arrived the mainland it was ready to be trucked. The delivery crew called and emailed an estimate date of arrival. I didn’t meet the crew that delivered our items, however my son and cousin were home and raved about how nice the men were. I have not unpacked all the boxes yet, but so far so good?. honestly, I have real expectations. Things might break or get delayed and I can understand. The communication from the business was superb and everyone from start to finish were wonderful to deal with. I am very pleased with the care I and my things received. Thank you, it can be difficult to find people who care to do a good job these days and I appreciate everyone of y’all❤️

Went smooth. Great communication. Boxed up a 2BR place minus a couch and a second mattress.

We were very diligent in packing everything before they got there besides the dressers and bed.

Everything arrived great and in tact that we personally didn’t pack to my surprise. (It’s a long way to think nothing will be damaged in a container out at sea, and a truck across the mainland).

Would recommend and use again, but understand how to properly prepare for a move like that. It’s not a 300mile moving van trip.

Our movers on Maui and in Florida, couldn’t of been nicer.

Hawaii Moving Pros made my move to Hawaii easy and without worry. It started from the moment they picked up the phone. Mo, the estimator, was always available to take my calls when I kept changing my mind. He was professional and courteous.He knew what needed to get done. The movers came and delicately loaded my belongings for the trip. They also stored my items till I found a place to live and the items arrived intact and was professionally unpacked with no damage. All the people I dealt with were very attentive to my needs and questions. They kept me informed all the way along, came on the day I requested to move and everything was like I wanted it to be. Very efficient and paid attention to detail. I got a copy of the list and pictures of everything that was moved. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a hassle free moving experience that did what they said they would and went beyond the expectations I had. Very reliable and professional

Booked with them to move a small load from La Mesa CA to Omao/Koloa Kauai Hawaii.

Booking was a breeze, as I had personally packed the entire load. With the exception of an antique dresser piece of furniture .

The boys did that for me and did a super job.

I had all items ready for pickup when they arrived at the storage facility.

It took time as the company is very thorough on labeling and documentation.

But probably a 2 hour overall process.

I was advised from the get, that it may take more than a month or two to get my goods to me. See it was picked up in a box Truck in La Mesa/San Diego. Taken to LA storage, then they coordinated with Matson Logistics to get us loaded and shipped.

Prices are competitive, but still everyone is super pricey nowadays.

I was kept in the loop about every 2-3 weeks on status of the move.

Then notification came we were under way and Westward Bound To da Islands.

Being that we are on an outer island,

Not Oahu thank goodness (haha)

It takes longer yet.

Goods go into Oahu, then have to be reloaded for Kauai.

We received notice when the Goods shipped (literally) from Oahu to Nawiliwili Harbor on Kauai.

Then again notified the day prior to delivery.

The delivery Braddahs we're right on time.

I assisted in the unloading, so it took about 20 minutes Total.

Only one box received any kind of damage, and turned out it was my fault. I did not brace the air gap in that box. However, not a single item was lost or destroyed.

Awesome considering it was handled/ loaded/unloaded six times.

I'd use them again, but I'm never leaving this place in paradise alive.

Therefore I would recommend them to anybody I know, or those if you who read reviews and are making up your decision on who to go with.

Outstanding! Ask for Mo! He was professional, responsive, thorough, and always very communicative and attentive to details. This was a complicated move, involving two destinations. No complications whatsoever. Everything happened on time, as promised. Damage was minimal. Mostly glass. Not surprising, considering that it had to be transported over land and over water. Mo had to coordinate with at least three subcontractors: one on the East Coast; one on the west coast; and one in Hawaii.

We moved mom from NY to Oahu and through out the process we had good communication with our move coordinator.

The movers at the pickup location did an excellent job wrapping and packing her belongings. The movers at the drop off location did a great job moving our belongings into our home. We had very little damage.

The whole move we were able to call and ask questions, and during the beginning of the process, we were able to change the approximate date and items being moved as we changed our minds during the process.

Overall the experience was very positive, we would recommend them.

Worked with Chris and Miguel. They are impressively thorough. Their customer service is incredible. I always knew the next steps and was constantly kept up to date and stayed on schedule. All my belongings were packed with care and all arrived safely and intact. I was going through big life changes and their attention to detail freed my mind of moving logistics and allowed me to concentrate on other tasks. I hope I NEVER have to move again, but if I did I know I would use HMP again and have peace of mind. Mahalo

My husband and I hired Hawaii Moving Pros for our move from Maui to North Carolina and I couldn't be happier with our results. When I first signed on I was skeptical so I asked so many questions every day and not once was anyone frustrated and they always answered right away! I was called or emailed every other day with the status of our goods and once it was all delivered the man was sooo nice! He unloaded all of it himself and offered to help us set stuff up! I recently moved from Oahu to Arizona with Hawaii Moving Pros and found the experience to be a very positive one. The response for a quote and questions I had were provided in a manner that allowed me to facilitate the move quickly and efficiently. The team that did the load in Oahu were professional as were the team that delivered in Arizona. Items appeared to be in good shape(delivered to a storage facility) upon arrival. Had a great experience with Hawaii Moving Pros and would recommend them.

I called a couple of companies in Hawaii, but Hawaii Moving Pros got my business, as they were connected locally on both ends. I'm glad I did, because they were great, the pickup crew in Hawaii and the delivery guys in L.A. were perfect, fast and professional. They communicated with me throughout, just to let me know when my stuff was handed over to the shipper, when it hit the ship and so forth. The original time estimate was beat by two or three weeks. It couldn't have gone better, smooth as silk. Highly recommended.

I had a super nice moving from start to o end was very comfortable and easy First person that I talked to Mo my sales person and after that with Joshua and all the movers in Sacremento and Honolulu every body was very friendly professional and excellent customer service.

And Joshua explain to me my move steps very clearly I really appreciate both of them with out them my move wasn’t possible and mover packed and un packed everything very good I was very surprised that everything arrived correctly and safely thank you so much everyone that’s helping me with my moving.

Couldn’t ask for a better experience. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and explained everything to us. We shipped household goods and two vehicles with no major issues. There was a delay in delivery but am not sure if it was the moving company, the dock strike in LA or both. Goods arrived a week late but the company kept us informed. When household goods were delivered they two movers unloaded and placed items where we requested. There was one package (two paintings) that were missing and reported. Within two days they tracked these down and delivered them to us undamaged. It was a good experience for us and we would use them again.

We called Hawaiian Moving Pros to pick up 14 items from Illinois, including several antique pieces of furniture, and deliver them to our home in Kona. An agent, Nathan, returned our call within a few hours. He became our contact throughout the move. From: pick in Illinois; through the Port of LA; shipment to Oahu ; on to the final destination of Big Island, Nathan kept us informed. Everything was packed and picked up when scheduled. The shipment was delivered at the time stated. Everything was unpacked, set up in their proper locations and all packing materials were removed. Everything was done with true aloha. Tough decision to leave Maui! Chris, Edward, team members that loaded on Maui and the guys that unloaded in Arizona all made it a positive experience. The condition of my belongings (mostly boxes) were handled with care and to date, no damage. Communication was always professional. I know I challenged them a couple of times not knowing actually how much I had to ship. Chris and Edward went above and beyond to give me the best possible idea of costs up to the last minute.

I moved my partner from Texas to Oahu, and decided to go with them because of the best rate offered compared to others. Throughout entire process I was able to call the person in charge of my move for clarification, questions, and updates. The timelines met what I asked for and the movers who came to pick-up and drop-off the items got it done very quickly. I had no missing items. I’ve dealt with moving companies before and honestly this was the smoothest move I’ve ever had.
