We used Hawaiian Moving Pros to ship our goods from California to the Big Island. I appreciated their communication and clarity from the very beginning to the end; from giving us our quote, setting up the move date, confirmation check-ins leading up to the move date, and update of our goods in transit and delivery. Estimate quotes and actual moving prices were very reasonable for our situation and amount of goods. Updates came through as phone calls and emails; very thorough and helpful. Their moving teams are friendly and professional. Pack out and delivery times were quick! We also used them for auto shipping for our Subaru Forester as well.

We made out move from The Bay Area to The Big Island in Jan of 2026. These guys were great. Other companies wouldnt delivere directly to our home given its slightly off grid location . Not only did they deliver it but their guys were friendly brought it all in and put it where I wanted it. They then do a full inventory before leaving to ensure that you received every item. Everything was there nothing broken or damaged. I would Definitely recommend using these guys for your moves to hawaii.

Mo and his team are attentive and responsive in their communications via phone conversations, emails and text messaging. Mo and his team of professionals are reputable and reliable in their moving services from start to finish. Mo and Nathan are patient in explaining the entire moving process which alleviated my anxious, worrisome energy because of a lifestyle change moving from a new state to relocate to my home state with their moving services again from my first move. At the start, Mo clearly explained everything to prepare for this move, following up with detailed information in email communications. If I had any questions or concerns, Mo and Nathan could be contacted via office call or mobile call for clarification. Over communicating was extremely beneficial and appreciated from a client perspective because Mo/Nathan efficiently and effectively resolved my inquiries to my complete satisfaction. Each of my boxes had a bright yellow label with a number and tracking barcode for a client to know the status of their belongings en route. I received text messaging for frequent updates which I appreciated to inform me. My cherished photos, sentimental, valuable belongings arrived at the destination on our agreed upon timeline. Hawaii Moving Pros were professional and very helpful for our move from Maui to Nevada. Michael and Richard were patient, kind and very helpful with the pricing, quote and payment process. Richard kept in contact throughout the whole process, answered many questions and helped with changes to the order up to the last day! The movers were professional, fun and very efficient! Tim and his daughter in Maui and Reuben who delivered in Nevada were top notch! They kept in contact and both arrived earlier than expected. They were fun and made the process great and easy! Our items arrived in great condition and no boxes or items were missing! I highly recommend Hawaii Moving Pros for a stress free, easy and affordable moving experience!

Moving from a large family home in Kona to Oregon was the final step for me in emptying my house. My husband had passed away and I could no longer maintain a big house. I decided to move back to the mainland to be closer to family. My three children traveled to Kona for their final visits to our beautiful place and decide what heirlooms and other valuables they wanted to have shipped. Hawaiian Moving Pros was the best solution to three separate shipments to three different states. My move was the last shipment.

Each time they sent very professional, friendly movers who were careful with packing paintings, wrapping furniture or large items in moving blankets, marking every box and item with name, address, and item number so that nothing would be lost. We were very impressed with how quickly they worked together, and how careful they were with everything. Each shipment was delivered to the destination we wanted, unloaded, and carefully placed.

Edward Vallasenor from Hawaii was in touch with me every step of my move until to the delivery in Oregon. Migeul, from Los Angeles, has made sure everything was received in good shape in Oregon.

I have already recommended HMP to my friends.

I've waited some time to write this review, but from the moment I spoke to May on the phone she was very helpful and kind. She explained the process and I was able to secure dates for my pick up in California to Hawaii 3 months in advance. Once my boxes and furniture were picked up it took 4 weeks for them to arrive safely. I just unpacked my last box and I am extremely happy with the customer service and the way my goods were handled from beginning to end. I strongly recommend Hawaii moving pros for your upcoming move! Thank you so much I love Hawaii and hope I never have to move AGAIN!!

I’m not going to lie I was a bit skeptical only because I’ve been burned in the passed by a moving company but I can say I had a wonderful experience with Hawaii moving pros they seem to have a great team there they handled my move from the beginning to the end. I was on a time frame to receive my household items and they were able to work within my time frame and get them delivered in a safe and timely manner thanks guys I appreciate the hard work and effort I will definitely recommend you guys to my fellow colleagues.

Professional rip offs.. They are great, almost overbearing, until they get your items and then you can’t get hold of them, they never call you back, you can talk to 5 people and still not get your issue handled. They will always tell you that someone will call you back, if you have a problem but no one ever does. They over charged me and then told me that I could get a refund but after that NO ONE ever called me back. It has been 11 months and today I tried again to see if I could talk to the owner before doing something like leaving this kind of review.

“Michael” answered again, first he transferred me to a mail box that wanted the mailbox number, which, of course, “Michael” didn’t give to me before he so rudely transferred me to that number. Then when I called back, he didn’t answer and when I called a 3rd time he hung up on me after asking me for my order number and then would not answer when I tried to call back again. I have tried for 11 months to resolve my issue with them but they won’t ever call me back or let me speak with the owner or with someone who CAN DO something so I now feel like it is my responsibility to let people know that THIS IS NOT THE COMPANY TO USE when you are moving.. and on social media I will be posting pictures of my boxes to further discourage people from becoming their next victim. I will also be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

I wish I had seen these reviews before I gave them my money.

I left one star because it won’t let me remove it. Worst moving company, use someone else.

I moved from Honolulu to LA and had a decent size move. This company was the only company who returned my quote inquiry and they did a phenomenal job with the move. All my items were intact and nothing was missing. The movers from Hawaii and California were very friendly, fast, careful, and did a great job. They wrapped and unwrapped all the furniture, TVs, beds, etc with blankets and boxes. I felt like my items were safe and secure. My moving coordinator, James, was the best! He called me every week to check in with me and he was very helpful throughout the whole process. My shipment took about a month and the price was better than i thought it would be. I highly recommend Hawaii moving pros to anyone who is moving between the mainland and Hawaii. Thank you James and team!

From the beginning of my relocation from Hawaii to California there was multiple miscommunication on the companies part that they conveniently pass the blame into me. Upon delivery of my items in California it appears that my sleep number bed was slashed and my 70 inch television destroyed. I paid them to pack and moved my items. They took photos of the good/excellent condition items and prior to packing and shipping. So I submitted a claim for replacement or reimbursement but instead was offered an insulting about of .60 cents per pound for the items. Apparently they don’t a) want to the right thing 2) don’t value their customers 3) don’t value the money earned for the items.

Bed valued at over $6000.00 - $60.00

Smart TV 70 inch valued around

$ 899.00 - they offered $90.00

This is a horrible!! They will tell you what you want to hear. Once you have signed the contract things go south. Believe the poor reviews. I didn't and I suffered for it. A computer monitor missing (stolen?). A 55" monitor damaged; cracked from edge-to-edge. Once they deliver your goods and leave as fast as they can, they go silent if you need to talk about damaged goods. Was assured my e-bike with battery could be moved. I had to leave this $2500 bike behind because the mover refused to put it on the truck even though we were continually assured it could go as long as the lithium battery was in a steel box, which it was. The rep outright lied. The manager says he bent over backwards for me, yet I paid for a service I did not receive. The lady that takes payment is just plain rude; just pay your money and shut up. I wanted to cancel but they started doing these things when we were too close to the move date and I didn't have time to hire a different company. PLEASE believe the bad reviews and look elsewhere!

Awesome company! I’ve never used a moving company in the past when moving (just used USPS and sold/gave away bigger items) but this time around we wanted to use a moving/shipping co. because we had items with sentimental value and with the economy right now we didn’t want to rebuy everything. I received a lot of calls and quotes from various companies but Hawaii Moving Pros was the only one that actually worked with me to bring down the price by telling me what the price would be minus this or that item. In the end I was able to ship 10 med size boxes, 4 15-gallon Rubbermaid containers, and enough furniture to be completely satisfied. Total was apprx $3,450. The pick up from Portland was smooth and the movers took care of our items; drop off was also smooth. No broken or missing items, and being in Portland I believe they had to transport our goods to CA first before shipping out. I had already told myself to expect a crushed box or broken items because it‘s a long distance move, but everything arrived the same way it was picked up! I will say that we were very intentional in the way we packed our boxes, leaving no empty space in our boxes to help avoid them being crushed by weight and movement; the movers actually commented saying we did a good job packing our boxes.I worked with Mo in the beginning who was so kind and helped with figuring out the pricing. Then we worked with Edward (super nice and friendly, too) who coordinated the entire move to and from. Both stayed in communication with us 100% of the time, which really eased my anxiety. There were a few times when I called to follow up but it had more to do with my anxiety vs. them not being in contact — and each time I called they were friendly and reassuring. Payment was a breeze, and they are very clear with their instructions. I would totally recommend Hawaii Moving Pros!

Moved from LA to Oahu and my items came in less than 30 days. Movers in LA were awesome. They wrapped everything so well and we’re great with the cubic feet. My items came under 30 days and not one item was broken. I have an ikea mirror, ikea dresser, Tv stand and coffee table. All particle board and not one thing broke. I was extremely impressed. Not one thing lost either. Honestly I’m still impressed on how easy and honest this whole process was. I highly recommend Hawaii Moving Pros.

My moving team in Kamuela, Hawaii were friendly, professional, neat and tidy. They laid walking runners on my hardwood floors. My 65" TV, desktops, monitors, 13 Home Depot totes filled with power and hand tools, glass art and had-to-keep 600 lb massage chair were safely packed and moved out.

The LA team was equally professional and handled delivery with great care. Everything arrived in great shape.

Shout out to the Hawaii office team who moved my pick up date twice to accommodate my changing work schedule and regular updates. I appreciate the Kokua (help.)

I have to say the process was much better than I expected. It started with Mo. I can’t say enough about this man’s customer service. He got us started off on the right foot and continued to do so all through the process. Teddy was next. She picked up on the dispatch portion and was easy to deal with and always responsive to any questions during the move. She kept us informed every step of the way. The team that picked up our goods in NH were very professional as well and team on Maui were hard working and did a great job. I would recommend HMP if you are planning a move to Hawaii.
