The absolute worse experience ever

Having used this company to move from Florida to North Carolina we were horrified to see the amount of damage to our furniture and possessions on the day that the removal truck was unloaded. Damage included an office desk that was completely destroyed to the point that it was in pieces, with the contents left in the drawers and strewn all over the floor of the removal truck. Also, a three-seater leather sofa that had a hole ripped into the side of it, a tv cabinet where one of the glass doors was missing, damaged bedside cabinet with hole pushed through the top, broken china, broken linen baskets, broken stainless steel kitchen trash can. Furniture was stacked upside down in the van and when the movers tried to unload a bedroom dresser, all of the contents inside had not been packed and were left loose and were displaced everywhere. In addition to the substantial damages, they had lost all of the fittings to another bedroom set and were unable to put it back together on delivery. The movers reassembled a dining table which was left so unstable that nothing could be put on top. All that was required was to tighten the screws which they had not been bothered to do. How I wish I had chosen another company to have completed the move. And now some two months on, they have only just apologized for any inconvenience!

Outstanding Experience

We just had Mojica, Falcon, German, and Pena pack up and move us out of a condo into a storage unit. They arrived on time and were extremely efficient with packing, loading and unloading. There were all very professional and had a positive attitude. The reservation process and billing was also easy. The customer service was excellent overall. I highly recommend this team for your moving needs.

Total satisfaction 100% using Good Greek movers in West Palm Beach Flo

I've gone through 8 different moves over the years with my condo and many fragile and large items. I am a disabled elderly person. I would very highly recommend Good Greek moving company! They took great care, went well above my expectations with nothing damaged and we were very professional, very kind, experienced, and helpful! I am very fussy and picky and they went above their expectations to please me. They went out of their way to fix a TV Cable with their tools & fixed several items they noticed needed screws tightened in my furniture (as it came that way from the manufacturer) he wanted to make sure it would be more sturdy so when they did the move it would be how it was supposed to be in the first place. Such a gentleman. Nothing was damaged & they constantly were asking to make sure they put everything in the correct place for me in my new condo. I would highly recommend the crew of Jose Herrara, Jesus R. and Luis R. I gladly tipped them and I hope they get the appreciation they deserve because they were the hardest workers and I want them to be noticed. This moving company needs to know that these 3 movers were an excellent crew! I want to make sure they are recognized! I will recommend them and request them if I do another move, which hopefully I won't do another move for a long time .Good Greeks made my relocation experience smooth, and even gave me a care package as a housewarming gift. I will always highly recommend them I hope they spread out in more locations. Thank you.

Move from Boca to Miami

Excellent experience in getting my daughter moved from Boca to Miami. Had a great three-man crew led by Stanley who was excellent. The truck was brand new. They did a great job getting everything packed up and loaded.. The guys worked quickly and efficiently. Got down to Miami. Got my daughter all loaded up to the 33rd floor. Total time seven hours that included a 1 Hour Dr. to Miami. From calling in to get a quote and schedule the move. I had an excellent experience with everyone I was in contact with including customer service. They diligently followed up on all the details. They arrived precisely on time on the morning of the move. Best moving experience I have ever had.

Above and Beyond

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We recently moved from Tampa to Fort Lauderdale with Good Greek Moving & Storage, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From our initial consultation to the final box being unpacked, every member of the team exceeded our expectations.

A big thank-you to our sales representative William, who guided us through the process with clarity, honesty, and professionalism. He helped set the tone for a move that felt well-organized and fully supported from the start.

Most importantly our moving crew—Eduardo, Jaime, Ariel F., Sergio L., and Alexis S.—was phenomenal. Their expertise in packing, loading, and transportation was evident at every step. They worked with efficiency, handled our belongings with great care, and went out of their way to ensure our comfort. Most impressively, they did it all with a smile and a positive mindset that truly made a difference.

We also want to recognize Maria S. in customer service, whose communication and coordination were outstanding. She was always warm, responsive, and ensured our questions were answered promptly.

Good Greek demonstrated a level of professionalism, clear communication, safety, and adaptability that truly sets them apart. They were not only attentive to our belongings but genuinely kind, caring and respectful to our family.

If you’re looking for a moving company that combines expertise, care, and human kindness, look no further than Good Greek Moving & Storage. They made our transition seamless—and even joyful.

Definitely not recommended - commercial fraud

I bought a 3-bedroom house in Cape Coral from abroad and flew there on my vacation to furnish it. I had ordered all the furniture in advance and was a bit overwhelmed by the amount of furniture that needed to be assembled. I realized I wouldn't be able to do it on my own, especially as I'm a layman.

So I sought help and called Good Greeks. I spoke to a Good Greeks salesman on the phone for advice. He advised me to order 3 assemblers for three hours. I asked if they could do it in that time. He said I could calculate one bedroom per man per hour. If it was complicated, an hour could possibly be added.

I was sent a 7-page contract, which I skimmed over and paid 870 dollars up front.

On Saturday, the helpers arrived at 2pm instead of 10am as agreed. Nevertheless, I was happy to get help.

The installers had no tools with them and one of the two - three had been ordered and paid for - said he had never done anything like this before. Well, I had a toolbox and the guys went to the guest room to start assembling the furniture.

An hour and a half later, when I went to see what the state of the set-up was, I was shocked. The brand new white velvet-covered bed was stained with brown fingerprints. It wobbled because the screws were not tightened. In the meantime, they were in the second guest room and had started on the next bed. At a glance, I saw that it had been assembled incorrectly.

I then stopped the fitters and told them to please leave. No furniture was assembled in 1.5 hours.

I received a call back from the supervisor. He asked if it was true that I had kicked the workers out. I explained to him that although the men were very friendly, they were in no way suitable for the job they had been hired for. When I asked him where the third man was, he said he was just about to come over and help himself. I said it would be great if he could see for himself what his crew had done. But he refused and said he would send a more experienced crew tomorrow. I had the feeling that was an excuse. Why wouldn't he take a look at what I was complaining about? Maybe because he knew…

The next afternoon, two men came again. Again without tools. The guys said they would finish what their colleagues hadn't managed to do yesterday. Somewhat incredulously, they asked if I had really kicked their colleagues out yesterday. I told them that it wasn't a classic kick-out, but that I had canceled the job because the men didn't seem to know what they were doing and their skills probably lay elsewhere. When I mentioned that I was surprised that only two fitters had come today instead of the three that had been paid for, the employees said that the company always did it that way. They promise three, but only send two.

They got to work and tightened the screws, which I had left as they were in case anyone claimed that everything was completely different. They actually shook their heads and asked incredulously whether the bed had really been handed over to me as fully assembled.

I let the guys do their work and after half an hour they said they were finished and wanted to leave. So the Good Greeks company had put together a whole bed for a whopping 870 dollars.

A discussion ensued and I said that they had two more bedrooms ahead of them and that the bedroom included a dresser, two night stands and a rotating mirror. Grumbling a little, the builders got to work on the dresser. This one dresser was not finished, but the three hours were up.

I was promised three bedrooms - a one bed was assembled, a one bed was started to be assembled incorrectly, which I had to dismantle at the end, and a dresser was started. For a proud 870 dollars.

I wrote to the gentleman who sent me the contract and claimed a refund. No response.

Then I called the head office and had Karen Clark on the phone - the director of customer service. She was very nice and compassionate. She apologized for letting me down like that. She said she was glad that the case had come to her directly. She would take care of it and call me back right the next day.

At first, I had the feeling that at least the customer service deserved a good rating. But very quickly I had to learn that Karen Clark's words were just empty phrases and there was nothing to be gained from them. After two follow-up phone calls I had to make from abroad, I received an e-mail with an offer of a 200 dollar discount and I was asked to sign another contract.

670 dollars for an assembled bed and a partly assembled dresser? No!!

I wrote to her again to say that I don't agree with that. A standard bedroom includes a bed, a dresser and two nightstands. I was promised four times three pieces of furniture for assembly, but I received one.

Karen Clark, who was so happy that this case came directly to her so that she could throw it straight in the trash can, did not reply at all anymore.

I therefore regard my experience as commercial fraud and can only advise against using this company.

Move out of state

At my home in Florida, Bryan came out to see me and check my belongings for a move from Florida to Illinois. This is a very tough time in my life as I lost my husband and needed to move back to family. I appreciated the visit as i was uncomfortable with a phone walk through which is why i did not go with another company. Jonathan, Anyory, Gabriel and Julio came in and went straight to work packing and putting everything on the truck and were finished in no time. They were all very friendly and respectful and efficient. This made it easy on me. They drove to Illinois in no time and only two of them made the trip. It was cold and snowy and they had a flight of stairs! This was a tough job! My brother was here to open the condo. He is unable to do the moving which is why i hired Good Greek. He said these guys were amazing. He couldn't believe their strength bringing furniture and many boxes up this flight of stairs. They did a super job and I am grateful. Maria Schuberth and Tricia Mack followed up with me to be sure all went well. Please thank each of these movers for me for their hard work. Thank you for making this move for me easier. Toni Gore

Amazing Professional Movers - highly recommend

We just used Good Greek Movers, they are 5 Stars ****** for sure. Showed up when they said, kept in contact with us the whole time, and wow super hard workers. Our stuff was so gently but quickly packed and how they packed the truck was some impressive. The whole team starting with Maria in customer service right down to the truck pulling away gave us such a sense of ease for our move, which everyone knows can be stressful, but not with this team of movers! We would like to personally mention Maria Schubert, Enmanuel C, Yurisan R, Charite & Carlos… Thank you !! You can’t go wrong using such a professional moving team. My husband & I are so thankful for their help with our move. Again top notch and attention to every detail and every piece they packed

Long-distance move from Colorado to Florida

Cross Country move

Spero has been my mover for the past 20+ years for both for my office and me, personally. There is no other mover that I would hire. Most recently, he moved the furniture from our summer home in Colorado back to Palm Beach County. He sent his own crews to do the move. They showed up at the appointed time. They picked up our furniture with speed and professionalism. After being advised that the crew was going to Las Vegas, then Los Angeles before coming back to Palm Beach, my furniture still arrived in only a week. The crew that delivered our furniture was equally as professional and quick. For me, Good Greek is the only mover on the planet.

Have a baby grand piano we need to move along with our furniture. Yup we can do that no problem. They wrap it and move it to Palm Harbor. Get it off the truck, well mam we can't get it upstairs, not enough of us.. too heavy. So now it sits in a damp garage and I don’t know what to do. Going to cost me $ 500 or so to get a good qualified mover to move it. Forget the Greek. Awful service.

Buyer Beware

Very disappointed in Good Greek Moving. I specifically chose them because they told me they were able to move my piano, yet they ended up doing over $700 in damage to it. The movers admitted to the damage and told me the company would make it right, but after filling out a claim form, the company wouldn’t even pay for HALF of the damage! I sent several emails to them asking them to do right by me, but they refused. #unhappy

Terrible moving company

SCAMMERS - DONT USE THEM!!! If I could give ZERO STARS I would. The only reason why I used this company was because the owner is a retired police officer & my family & I support cops. The owner should be embarrassed to be running a business like this! Here is the HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I encountered w/Good Greek (more like Bad Greek) Moving.

1) Called for an estimate & was quoted $1800 to move a 1300 sq. ft. home (not a lot of furniture mostly boxes) to Loxahatchee & store my stuff in 2 pods for 1 day. They made me believe that was the final price for everything. They Failed to mention that was just to pick up my stuff & storage. My final price after the pickup was $2801. The "extra" cost was due to them having to bring another truck b/c they did not bring a large enough truck for my belongings. I had to pay for their mistake plus gas.

2) The day they came to pick up my belongings was already emotional as we were moving from a home we were in for 8 years but it turned into a nightmare & a very stressful day. Besides the issues with the pricing as mentioned in my #1 above. They showed up with 2 guys (and the undersized truck). There was one guy who although new with the company was nice however the other man was older and was rude & rough. He was pissed and did not want to work that day as he made it apparent the moment he stepped into our home. We could hear him using foul language, and cursing to his co worker how he did not want to be there, how the company is terrible, in between this he was eating food and having his drinks within 30 mins of getting to my home. He even asked to use my microwave for his lunch (he just got to my home but must have been hungry as we were the 2nd pickup from what they said). It took these 2 guys from Noon to past 8PM to finish! My husband and I has also helped them to move the process along. We had to push boxes into the main room to hurry them up. My dad came to relieve us as we were very tired. When we left and was asked to pay the bill which was over $1000 from the estimate - we were pissed. Had them call "their boss" (I don't recall his name) but he was like dealing with a used car salesman. We told him what were quoted and since they had to call in another truck (and we paid to have to wait for the other truck over 1 hour) we didn't want to pay as it was their fault and we were very unhappy. He said he would refund us $300 for the inconvenience which we NEVER RECEIVED. But had to pay the $2800 then.

3) After the pickup day being a stressed nightmare we weren't looking forward to the day for them to drop our stuff off at our new home. Well, no surprise it was a shit show just like the pickup day. This time they showed up with 3 guys (although one just watched & guided the other two guys). These guys were nice considering what I am about to tell you we all discovered. The first two guys from pickup day NEVER WRAPPED our leather couch, dining table or chairs. A corner of our NEW leather sectional couch was ripped and my dining table was put in the truck upright under stacked sectional couch pieces that had fell onto the table and broke it in half. To say we were upset was an understatement. This day was supposed to be happy moving into our new home but it turned stressful once again! The guys saw right away and took pictures and called the office to tell them what was going on (ultimately for them to do NOTHING ABOUT IT). We also noticed a new round mirror was missing & shelving unit was missing pieces. There is NO SYSTEM in place to inventory your stuff by they way. Who knows what else is missing as I am still unpacking. They place yellow number stickers on your items. Since this was our first time with movers, I guess you need to write down yourself how many boxes you have and what is exactly in them as movers like these don't care about your stuff, what goes missing or what gets damaged. We moved into our new home & ate on the couch since we have no dining table. We had to order a new dining set (which took over a month to get) & since we wanted something similar to what we had that is now broken from the movers & cost us $3000 to replace my damaged table.

4) If you read #3 you see which items we have that are missing and damaged. I took pictures, the movers saw the issues, & advised us to email the office to put a claim in for about $3500 in damages and lost items. Well, the claim process is A JOKE! It took them over a month to get back to us, after several follow ups they replied that they are OFFERING US $96 FOR THE DAMAGED ITEMS. Are you kidding me?!?!?! What the hell am I doing w/$96 for damages of over $3000. They said no insurance was taken - well it was not offered w/the verbal estimate. They refund by pound of items not the cost of them!! I am sure there are more points of unsatisfactory things that transpired through all this but these are the main issues. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! I will post this on all social media so everyone knows this.

My move last week

I’m not trying to tell anyone how old I am but let’s just say that I’ve been involved in more than my fair share of are reading this, you either have experienced or heard the horror show that happens on the actual moving day. We certainly have been there on multiple occasions. The movers show up and it’s a different story.

For us (sorry Billy) my bing day ended up being the very best part. Led by the team leader Alex, all three including Nestor and Gerardo were fantastic. We got to spend 10 hours with them and they never once complained or slowed down. In the end, we had our belongings delivered safely and without ANY nicks, scratches or breakage. They made us feel totally at ease and confident that they were in control and they proved that they were treating our belongings as if they were theirs.

The company also was unique in a couple more ways. First, their office folks called me to confirm the move, to verify that the movers had arrived and later in the day to get my report on how the team did. Very impressive for a moving company. Second, when the move was complete Alex gave us a very thank you gift including a nice bottle of olive oil, olives, a wine opener, a set of measuring spoons and some nice gift cards all in a very nice GG yellow gift box! Our move cost a fraction of what we paid for our newly built house and this gift basket is what we would have expected from our builder instead of cheap beach towels that disintegrated on the first wash. Again little acts of appreciation show that GG cares about the customers.

I would recommend GG and specifically the team mentioned above in the highest terms for any of your moving needs. I’ve always thought that you can tell a lot about a company by the way they maintain their equipment and how their employees treat the customers. The big yellow GG truck looked brand new and clean (inside and out) and the team was professional courteous polite and hard working. You will not regret giving your moving business to Good Greek!

Horrible Move

Spring Hill, FL 34607

RE: Move from 11555 Biddeford Place, New Port Richey, FL 34654 to

4968 Cumberland Lane, Spring Hill, FL 34607

To whom it may concern

On December 11, 2021, we contracted with Good Greek Moving and Storage for the sum of $6,000. This contract was to move our household items from our house in Waters Edge, New Port Richey, FL to our new house in Lake in the Woods, Spring Hill, FL. The contract was to include all packing, packing materials, dismantling any furniture required for the move, transporting to our new home on two separate days, December 17th and 22nd, re-assembling furniture and placing boxes and items in the proper rooms. There was a phone problem so the move was to be made on the 18th and 22nd instead we started on the 18th.

The first crew came to our house on the 17th and seemed to really take pride in their work, wrapping and packing everything very well. I helped as much as possible, just to get the move done slightly faster. The crew started with two men, then two additional men came later, staying for just a few hours. Just after dark the fully loaded truck went to our new house, about 22 miles away. They started unloading, moving a lot of boxes and items into the proper rooms but it was getting late so nothing could be re-assembled and almost everything else was moved into the garage. The plan was for the same crew to return on the 22nd to the old house for a final load and re-assemble furniture then.

On the 22nd, the original crew was not available so they sent a different crew with 3 men to finish. Two of the men seemed very professional but one of the men mostly gave orders like a drill sergeant and no one could get anything done. Things weren’t wrapped and packed properly, the truck wasn’t packed, just haphazardly placed in the truck and everything didn’t fit. After several hours I had a talk with the 2 men that were trying to work and decided to fire the third member, but by then, it was getting late. We called the office explaining the problem and they said they would finish on the 24th to finish the move.

On the 24th there was still a lot to be done. They offered to take a load to the new house around 4PM so we could start getting this settled, which was great and very thoughtful on their part. They unpacked the truck and went back for the remaining items.

They did put the beds together and attempted to assemble the living room sets (we thought all was together properly but found out later some of it was not connected). They did all they could and stayed late which was very good for us, especially on Christmas eve.

Unfortunately, the nightmare started on Christmas day when we actually started unpacking boxes. Boxes from the first crew were opened and discovered a complete set of twelve-piece China set from Japan from 1945, and four-gold rimmed shot glasses that was part of an antique music box missing, probably in the same packed box. When we unpacked the rest, there were damaged boxes, little to no packing material, pictures jammed together and damaged in boxes with lot of damage, shown by the 83 enclosed pictures. We didn’t get all the pictures of boxes that were jammed together since we thought maybe it was just one or two not packed properly, were we surprised when we found almost all were that way. Damaged items everywhere, including some irreplaceable items and expensive items. Also damage to our wood floors where furniture with metal frames were dropped, taking chips out of the floor, and scratches in places.

We understand many items can’t be replaced or even found to repurchase, but we do feel we should be well compensated for the horrible job as well as a partial refund for not having everything wrapped and packed properly. Paying $975 for packing was way too much for a shotty job.

I have used good greek moving and storage twice now the first time was okay this second time I will never use this company again!! They took their time packing up the furniture (cause everything else was already done) then they went to lunch on the way to the new house and after they got to the new house they told me that the $1500 price that i was quoted was now over $3000 and that they weren't taking my belongings off the truck till they were paid. I almost cried it took every last penny I had to pay this company that had become like every other crook in the moving game. Be careful who You trust your stuff to! And read the fine print

NOT HAPPY

2 non-english speaking movers show up to move me out of my 1 bedroom apartment. I can't give them directions or tell them what I need. They don't understand a word! I went with Good Greek because they are supposed to be the best. The move is costing me $3000 and I cannot communicate with them. I get a call from the office asking how the move is going and I tell her the biggest problem is I can't communicate. I am told I can call the office to get a spanish & english speaking person to talk to them. REALLY? I am not happy this morning at all.

Personal review

I have to say they are the worst movers I have ever used. I started in Florida and their men never marked any if the boxes. When the boxes got to New Jersey each box had to be opened so I knew what it was and where it went. Boxes were used boxes and they were falling apart. Three expensive things were broken. Upon packing they never separated dished packed them in groups. It was amazing that I didn’t have more things broken.

The only thing that was the two guys on the New Jersey end were fabulous.

I recommend thatGood Greek should take lessons on moving.

Very highly recommend

Wow… what a great experience. I had a set of furniture moving to my daughter’s house. This team Yordan, Rafael and Yosbel were the best. So professional, carefully wrapped each piece, moved quickly and even helped me move another piece. Very neat, arrived a few minutes early. I love these guys. We have a larger move coming soon and specifically requested this team for that move too. Very highly recommend good Greek and especially this team!!!

Bad move

Hired 3 men to move a china cabinet, large dining room table and several other pieces. I watched the a mover step on a leg and snapped it off this $3600.00 dinette set. All items were put into a storage unit. 2 weeks later to get items out saw a 2nd leg was broken off and none of the movers ever mentioned it to me. I even gave them a nice tip. Left a few messages with company to have a manager call me but of course no one did. Bad business, take the money and run. Plus they nickel and dime you on every blanket and piece of cardboard they use. And yet they make you feel good by saying your items are insured. Filed a claim weeks ago heard nothing back and yes I called twice. Will never use again.
