Literally sick to my stomach with this moving company. Lies upon lies about when they will show up, my estimate was time sensitive and dissappeared. Can’t get ahold of anyone from the company the man that sold this scam Thomas guy won’t answer the phone anymore. Left stuck with my kids with no movers, we were told upfront they’d pack our stuff. Then glad i called back to ask, they pack NOTHING and they’ll say it was written in your estimate. Took our bank account. Customer service cannot refund, cannot give any information on the movers whatsoever or any kind of help after waiting 75 minutes on hold each time.. ITS a HUGE SCAM!! Don’t waste your money or time. Seriously cannot sleep over this anguish. Never showed up. Said they were keeping our deposit. Am scared to death they are gonna try to take more of our money during a huge military move. AWFUL!!!!

My mother was on her last breath of her life when Ryan Summit senior coordinator blew my phone to get a contract signed and secured. After paying $688 and some change, her

5 items was not picked up and no one including Will Nevarro, Charles Ross, and Ryan Summit would return my calls. They are hiding behind a automated call processing system not to be accountable to customer’s concerns. I will want my deposit back since I did not cancel my contract and gold standard did not deliver their promise. I have even called the dispatchers , they had instructed me to contact my broker which is GOLD STANDARD MOVING AND STORAGE out of Florida for reference my job# which was assigned is 7336606. Their customer service was very rude and kept saying there is no Guaranties on the day of the pick up. I have done every steps possible on my part to go through my move with them since I have paid my deposit and not to break the contract. It was the most stressful of my days after my mother’s death. The name of business does not fit the experience I had with them. This is what I received form Ryan Summit:

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: $278438

Our move didn't have the easiest logistics - it was raining, we had narrow streets, and our old landlord was very particular about how things were done. They paid attention to the details, were careful while packing and unpacking, and were mindful about where we wanted things placed. They also didn't require too much of our attention, which meant we could worry about all the other stuff involved in moving...or just relax when we could while they did the work. If you wish to move without any struggle, this is the company to hire! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $4244

I have called several different places getting quotes for an out of state move. At first the rep was nice and was going through everything. When it came down to the cost I did advise I have gotten better quotes. He was being pushy when I said I need to talk to my husband first. Then I told him I honestly probably would not move forward since I got a lower quote. He asked what it was and who, I advised quote and the company. He stated it was not a reputable company and went over BBB all stuff I have already looked up. I kindly said I was not interested at this point and he was talking over me. I ended up hanging up and then he called back basically yelling at me. I mentioned in 2021 his company has 25 complaints this year and thats when he got really mad. I said I am not interested thanks for your time and I was hanging up and not to call back. He then sent me TWO rude txt messages. Will not work with this company because of the rude encounter.

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $7500

We hired this company to move my daughter from Palm Springs, CA to San Antonio, TX. They were 2 days late picking up furniture and finally picked it up on 6/11. My daughter is still waiting in TX for her furniture. Evidently the furniture is sitting in Las Vegas, NV with a company called Oasis Storage. Everytime we call them we get the run around. We were told they have until 7/8 to deliver and now my daughter was told it will come over the weekend. Gold Standard does not care about us now that they have been paid their portion of the moving. It is a total scam!! After reading other reviews, I'm fearful if we will ever see the stuff again and/or what condition it will be in. We are at their mercy. I don't even want to give them 1 star but in order to post this I have to.

Move size: Studio Service cost: $2700

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They tell you they will beat any quote that you get, and that's because the quote they give you doesn't matter. I booked them for a move that was supposed to have cost $8,000. A third party company showed up and after they had already moved half of our furniture into some storage, they told us it was actually going to cost over $16,000. Of course we couldn't afford that. And they would only return our furniture to us if we paid them $4,000. In the end, we were out of the deposit we gave Gold Standard and out $4k. Also, we had to move ourselves. I called Gold Standard, and they blamed me for what happened, saying that I must have told them the wrong amount of items, and pretty much said it was not their problem. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. Our move was supposed to have been stress free, but instead, it was a nightmare.

I have never been more upset and more cheated in my life. As a retired senior on social security I can not allow this to take a chunk of my lifetime of savings.

Moving guarantee from Allied who came to our house and saw everything we were quoted $17,000 we didnt hire them since Gold Standard estimated $8000.

Then after 3 reviews of all our goods with Golds price became $11,900. Which we begrudgingly agreed.

We still went with Gold thinking even if price changed a bit it wouldn’t hit

the $17000 that Allied quoted.

Why was Golds estimate so low versus Allied who actually visited with us and saw our furniture etc.

Bait and switch!!!!

In fact interesting every other companies estimates can be found in my in box all Gold Standard disappear online after time sort of evidence tampering. Whose emails time out and disappear how do they do that?

Here is the bill of lading where they show the $11900 estimate which now magically became $25000 due to more work that was estimated three times and we added nothing and its more than double $11,900 now is $25000

You dont estimate $8000 get someone to hire you then change price to $11,900 then change to $25000 when nothing was added to the move list.

They also quoted $1500 for a full pack with no surprises and now are charging me $6650 for more packing then they thought.How is that possible when we reviewed the list with them three times.

You cant speak to a manager no one cares how they have cheated me and the delivery that was quoted being here between July9-11 is now supposedly around July 23. I even drove to their address which is in an office with no name on the door and paper taped to the window so you cant see in. Really?

I now have to pay rent at my apartment with nothing in it and get a hotel for two weeks.

My only recourse is to put my review with the better business bureau and 10 other websites to protect other people. Being older and on social security I now have to go into my only retirement fund to get my goods from being held hostage.Shame on Gold Stamdard and Quick Move LLCfor cheating people. I thought I was hiring a mover not three companies to cheat me.

(Golds who I hired thinking they were the mover, Quick Move LLC who packed me and another company to deliver when ever they get ready no delivery date confirmed when it was supposed to be July 9-11.)

You cant estimate $8000 move to $11,900 then $23,000 then $25,000.

That is just wrong I added nothing.

Either the initial quote was lowball so we would hire them or the actually price was so high as we were stuck.

We would never have hired them at $25,000 when I had a guarantee from someone else at $17000 with and actually delivery date instead now we really dont know but think in about two weeks.Which is two weeks late according to my contract.

In 9 different moves in my life this is the worst and in being taken advantage in my life this is the worst.

Shame on Gold Standard and Quick move.

You may hear their side of the story this is what I swear is the truth and nothing but the truth so help me God.
