Make sure your quote is realistic.

After reading the bad reviews online I was skeptical to use this company but after speaking to Anthony he assured me that I would get good service and I did. They quoted me at a hourly rate which was fair and I felt my move be done in that time. Once the crew arrived we established the start time and they got right to work. My apartment was completely packed and everything was ready to go when they arrived. They moved efficiently and got my move completed within the quoted time (I did have some extra cash on hand just in case but didn't need it). The guys were friendly and treated my things with care. I am giving them 4 stars cause they were a little late (due to a previous job going over) and didn't call to tell me but they arrived before the new time they gave me and once they got to me they were apologetic.

My recommendations be completely packed before they arrive they charge by the hour so if you are not packed or if you have difficult items to move and didn't allow for that when quoting then there will be extra charges at the end.

Worst company ever! EXCEL CARRIERS-ENGLEWOOD NJ.

Had the same problems the other reviewers are reporting.  They showed up 45 min late and then rushed us into signing a contract. Prior to signing the contract he telld you cash only. I told the the driver to please stop at $500 because I was not expecting to pay cash and I dodn't have the kind of money. He agreed. Loading our furniture was pretty much normal but before they drove to my new place they demanded payment in full before unloading.  That was not a problem until they told us the bill was more than twice what they said on the phone when we booked them and it was cash only no checks or credit cards (They asked for a credit card to booked the job) but you have to pay CASH.  They charge an hour (min) travel time from their office to my home even though they are five minutes away.  They then charged for hundreds of rolls of tape and "other" packing material which we were told would be free when we booked. They also charged for extra hours over the quoted price The best part was they would not unload our furniture and would leave with it if we didn't pay. Of course they told us this was all in the contract which they had rushed us into signing without reading.   This company does not deserve one star and really should be investigated by the police but they do protect themselves pretty well with the "contract" that has nothing in it that they tell you when you book them. PS They will take a credit card for a deposit over the phone but not to pay the final overinflated bill. Your bill will triple the amount that you are given in the beginning. THEY DO NOT TAKE CREDIT CARDS. They tell you to go to the POST OFFICE AND GET A MONEY ORDER WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD.There's not such thing.I was forced to pay over $1000K for an extimate of $375 that I was fgiven in the begiining. They were supposed to come on 11/26 at 9:00 for the move when it was past 9:00 and they were't there, I call and they said they mess up the appointment. that they were going to be there at 1:00, then they changed it for 2:00pm  and then they cancelled. My move was on 11/28 and they were there at 45 minutes late.  They took my baby's crib apart and they made it seem as they put it back together but they didn't. screws were missing on the changer part of the crib. now I can't change my baby. It's so sad they scammed a young mom with her 10mos old baby on her arms.   I will consult with a lawyer.

Flat Price Mover.

I had a very good move by Excel Carriers. They moved me this past Sunday. They gave me a Flat Price of $800 for 8 hours of moving services. They finished the move in 8.5 hours. We had 3 flights of stairs which were not that much of a problem for these nice movers they sent.I happy nothing was broken and they didn't break the agreement we had.My brother is moving in 3 months and he also will use them because he was there present on my move day to see the good job they gave us. Thanks Excel .

Fraud Comany.

For the 1st time in my life I practically felt what “Day light robbery” is when making a move and using the services of Excel Carriers / Military Carriers (whatever name they are called), based in Englewood, NJ. I am assuming this is how most of the packers and movers operate-Cheat their customers, bill and loot by way of hidden charges and terrible sales people. I had the privilege of falling into their trip on my recent move from a 1bed to 2 bed apt which is within 10 miles apart. I ended up shelling out 3 times of what was quoted by the sales rep, whose name was Michael. People beware of him or any other rep from this fraudulent company. Before finalizing these guys I was little hesitant of using any movers, but I took a big risk and ended up repenting. I was quoted an amount of $320 and I ended up paying 4 times $830. Can you imagine hidden and unquoted charges? -Charges for number of steps from the truck to the apt. That is what I was charged -Hefty toll fees between their Englewood office to my house and back. These were unquoted. -Time taken between their office to my apt and back. Again an amount not quoted for by the sales rep. -Falling into the trap of bringing in another person and paying for him as well against what was quoted. -Using my own materials such as boxes and tapes and charging me for it. These are some of the examples of the way this company robs from its customers and the delivery person on the location –Michael (same name as sales rep) was one of the smartest guy who has been an expert on “how to fool the customers”. I guess they are trained day in and day out in such skills rather than train them how to make the move easy and happier for the customers. In the end you get a warning message that unless you pay, we will not unload. That’s the end of it. Warning to all people looking for movers- Do not fall into the trap of Excel Carriers.

Crooks - Hold Furniture Hostage.

Do NOT use Excell Carriers/militaryCarriers (they don't actually do moves for the military - this is a lie) under any circumstance. Isaac who was my sales person quoted me a price under $1000 and I ultimately received a bill over $1800.
They claim to  accept credit card as long as they receive it 24 hours in advance which was how I was planning to pay but when they actually do  the move and have all  your furniture, they only accept CASH. I told Isaac I was planning on using my credit card  2 weeks in advance  and I gave him a credit card number. I also spoke with him 24 hours before my move and again  gave him my credit card number, name, expiration date and security code to charge my card and he said he would. However, he lied and didn't charge my card. The day of  the move - the movers told me that they only accept cash and that if I wanted my furniture, I would have to pay them in CASH first. They held  my furniture hostage. When I tried to call Isaac he was  suddenly unavailable and I ended up speaking with David Green who then told me they only accept cash. I ultimately was forced to go to the bank and retrieve cash.
They also, charge tons of hidden fees which brought my total cost to over $1800 even though everything was already packed from another professional mover. They then will refuse to unload your  furniture from their truck until they receive payment in full in cash form. This company is the worst - simply put, they lie. I will never ever use this company again -especially Isaac who lied to me multiple times. Isaac's email is isaac@militarycarriers.com so feel free to email him and tell him that you will never ever use his company because of how they lie.    .

Movers.

Wish I had read these reviews. I was scammed too. Over an hour late. Once my furniture was packed on their truck they called me and demanded cash, threatening to not deliver my beloved furniture. They also demanded more money than the original quote. The men on the phone were very demeaning, sarcastic. The money does not bother me; it is how they handle their business. These guys behave as though they have very tiny penises. Please make a better choice. STAY AWAY from this company.

Quote vs final cost.

Add my name to the growing list of unsatisfied customers.  I was   first given a quote based on my estimate of what was being moved,  $1450.  I requested  a meeting at my mothers home to firm up quote.  Quote went from $1450 to $2960, which I agreed with after reviewing contents.  Moving day, I was given a bill of $4500, with no explanation as to why the wide discrepancy.  Contacted the owner, Anthony Delguidice, who said he would look into the difference between quote and final price.  Never heard from him again.  As a Vietnam vet, I bought into his use of his military connection to create sales.  Don't buy into it, he is a scam artist.  My only regret is not reading the posted reviews prior to selecting him as our mover.  Considering legal action.  Stay away from this guy.  .

Excel Carriers.

Do not use this company. They are completely dishonest. The owner owns several companies and when you get the online quotes, most of them are for the same company. They give you a low bid, then after they load your belongings, they tell you the price will be higher because you have more cubic feet and stairs and there are toll charges. All items they knew about in advance. By this time, your stuff is in their truck and you have no choice but to pay. Then your stuff does not get delivered on time if at all. I'm still waiting after 15 days with a 7-10 day promise to deliver. The driver coming to deliver the goods late already warned me there would be extra charges for the same items they charge me for on the front end. It's complete extortion. The DOT can do nothing to help you. This company claims to move military families, this is also a lie. They are extremely nice until they have your property. Then they don't take your calls and when you can reach them, they continually lie to you promising discounts and refunds that will never come. They have no conscious at all. Beware of any company located in Englewood, NJ as they have more than 10 different names.    This company is located in Englewood, NJ and they are dishonest. Do not use them. They can not be trusted and they will rip you off. They use several names so you can not find all of the complaints and bad reviews. Michael is the main sales guy to lies through every part of the process and after your belongings are picked up, you can never reach him again. They will extort money from you as soon as your stuff is on their truck. It's very sad that people like this exist in the world.  .

Horrible Company.

Bill was double the estimate. Unjustified charges. Charged two hours for a 26-mile trip that should take 35-50 minutes at most. Charged one hour for 20-mile trip that should take 30 minutes at most. More than one hour late, creating delay in picking up the six pieces of furniture, more unjustified costs. Charged $40 fuel costs for 46-mile trip, that's 4.6 miles per gallon on highway driving. But much worse were the screaming tirades of obscenities by the managment and drivers. They stood in the hall of my condo and continued screaming obscenities until they extorted the money from me. I should have just called the police. I paid the deposit by credit card, the company ad said credit cards were accepted and the management said I did not have to pay with cash. I also was told management would make unspecified adjustments because they also thought the charges were exorbitant. I was told the driver had a wreck on the way to the job.  The mover, another Michael, still demanded cash, screaming for almost an hour, disturbing my neighbors. The vile obscenities also came with phone  calls and frightening threats until I paid. Horrible, scary experience.

Most horrible company ever!

I called and spoke with Mike who gave me an estimate which seemed great. I gave him all inventory in my home and more! We agreed to 3 people and my husband was going to help and be the fourth man to lower costs. He gave me an estimate of $1080. I knew it was an estimate and thought it would cost about maybe $300 more. Like I said, we included everything in this estimate. It was pretty clear! The morning of, my husband woke up at 7 in the morning and starting hauling downstairs majority of our stuff to help the company out and to reduce cost. He did a lot! He put boxes out in front so it would be easier for them and to get them out early. When they came, they brought 4 men and supposedly told me that the 4th man was free. They were 3 1/2 hours late! So mind you, there are 5 people moving our stuff and it took forever! I left early to pa and when I heard the final bill cost it was $2006! They said they only charged us $440 something dollars for extra cost with their materials. Where did the other money come from? I don't know! They said flight of stairs and other bull stuff which I don't understand still. The flight of stairs was already included in my estimate. I called the salesperson mike who I complained to and he was suppose to return my call and never did. I was arguing with the foreman, James brown about the cost and he told me that he would leave my stuff back in NY if I didn't agree with the bill. I was so unhappy with the conversation and nothing was done. When they arrived out our new home, I told my husband not to help them. We were trying to get them out before 8 pm that they couldn't even unload everything in the right places. They were out in time and only took off about $100 which was their tip. Pretty sad when I would of tipped more. If I knew the price was $2,000, I would of went with another company in my previous home area which would of priced the same and wouldn't have been so late. When I unpacked everything, glasses were broken, wires were tangled, several furnitures were cracked and I still can't find my iPhone charger. I wish I read the reviews first before hiring them cause it is exactly what had happened! Stay away! Mike the salesman just wants to book a job and will tell you any price possible! .

Below are the chain of e-mails:
Michael,

Just so you know, I haven't received the $50 as yet. I have no option but to proceed with fraud claim. If you wish to check and get back to me, I'm okay with that else I will have to report this to Billy's and take it to the next level.

Unprofessional; Unethical Moving Service in New Jersey - Excel Movers.

This is the first review ever that I am posting about any service or product I have had a bad experience with as this deserves a mention to avoid bad experiences for others. I had booked the moving services from Excel Movers (http://www.militarycarriers.com) for Aug 31, 2013 from 3-6 PM. They insisted on taking an advance partial payment (a month in advance of the move) effectively ensuring that I don't reach out to any other moving service. They were very prompt with responding before the payment was taken. They even called up 2 days in advance of the move to check if I was going ahead with the move which I gladly confirmed I was. However on the day of the move they (Excel Carriers LLC) didn't show up at all! Here I was all packed up and ready to move along with my family (with a small kid its even more stressful to plan for the move as it is). When I called up the contact information on quote they had sent up and on the advance payment receipt, no one picked up the phone for first 15-20 min. When someone by the name David Greene did pick up the call he was agressive from the word go. Started abusing me on phone when called to honor the commitment (even made racial statements during the conversation). They refused to offer any claim to compensate for loss  or even offer a complaint mechanism even on multiple inquiries. I ended up getting some guys to help me move for an exorbitant price on the condition that I'll have to move along with them. During the move I ended up spraining my back. Worst part was instead of apologizing for the debacle at their end even post facto when I called them they asked me to get off the call and stop calling! I am firmly of the opinion that a company offering this king of moving experience to the customers should be forced to close, licence taken away or atleast (to avoid sounding harsh) atleast be subjected to a major penalty to ensure other consumers doesn't have to undergo the same harrowing experience.  Anyone interested in verifying the facts of the case or get move details on my experience please feel free to write to me at my mail ID or comment here. .

Horrible Experience.

Stay away from this company! I moved on august 31, 2013 from an apt in a luxury building to a home that I purchased. There was only about 20 miles between the 2 locations. I was quoted a price of $1000.00 for the move and when all was said and done after my belongings were on the truck I was informed that the price is now 1677.00 because my walkway was more then 75' long and there were stairs in the home that I was moving to. In addition they would not unload any of my belongings until it was paid in full in cash. When I called the company to try to talk to them the man who answered the phone immediately jumped to the defensive and began cursing me out, threatening to bring my belongings back to the original location and leaving everything on the curb and if that wasn't enough he continued to threaten to come and punch me in my f**ing face, not once but twice. I have never been so traumatized by anything in my life. In addition several pieces of my furniture were damaged. At the start of the next business day I called to speak to someone to resolve the situation I was told to expect a call back later on that day and of course no phone call was received. And I called again the next morning and was told there is nothing they could do.

Scary Crooks!

We were moving a piano, it sounded very good on phone and a contract was sent to me. I was promised that the total cost would be $360 for the piano including an extra china cabinet. Michael was very talkative and described how they professionally they had the experience. He went through the process step by step. He was also claiming honesty through his experience as a marine soldier.
They came late to the pick up place. About 45 minutes. They moved very slow and were not very nice. Then the person Al started to say something about negotiation the price, I was surprised buy this and thought it was already set. I did add two smaller items because of the size of the truck that would easily hold theses pieces, I was ready to pay for that. They would have fitted in my car. So I stupidly assumed that it was about the added pieces of furniture.

I left and Al seemed stressed out but agreed that we would meet at my house. When I got home they came and he was already worked up and seemed stressed. He wanted to negotiate and told me that it was now $630. According to him the piano was not included in the price. He was aggressive and scary. I called Michael that picked up and said that it must a be a mistake, he was going get it right. This did not happen and it just went worse. I am a woman and luckily I had a friend at my house, it was a very threatening situation. Al said he would call the police on me. We negotiated more and Michael did not pick up the phone after this. I did finally agree to pay $450 and he would bring in the furniture. He said yes and I gave him $440 in cash. He went out and told his guys to put the stuff on the driveway because that I am not paying enough. At this point he was super aggressive and I was so scared. My friend I agreed that at this point we have to calla the police. Before he came Al was screaming and banging on my door that I locked. A police officer arrived before they left and talked to us and then them. He said that the contract was really unclear and that it is difficult to do to much about. He convinced them to put the stuff in the garage. He stayed until they left and told me to go online and writ reviews on as many places as possible. These people are all but honest. BE AWARE!! I am so sad know, was looking forward to the piano installed in my living room as promised. :(   .

Do Not Hire This Company Currently Under Investigation.

This is for all of the individuals who have shared there horrible experience with Excel carriers and the criminals who either have worked, still work or who have "pretended to work" for the Top Ranks Excel Carriers Moving Company (which I have had the misfortune of also dealing with just recently when I made the mistake of hiring “someone named ‘Mike’” claiming to represent the company and scammed me pretty bad.. "Mike" and his "movers" (Note - who have scammed me but only for now - until I verify the real identities of "Mike", the "movers" and if the owner is involved as well - who was always aware and may or may not have been involved directly - and get them all sentenced for their crimes, fraud and their unethical, illegal actions in this company). Along with being 3 hours late, forcing me to hold off on moving into my apartment that same afternoon as I had planned, I was forced to have no choice but to store my furniture at the “company” overnight for $200+ because the movers were 3 hrs late. (which left them providing moving services for under 2 hrs at my house that first day) and the next day 3 new movers came with my furniture to my new apartment where I met them, were so argumentative and from the start were very “this is how its going to be” you pay, cash only accepted or we go back with your furniture. I flipped when I saw a bill that (not only neared $2000! - but that they had all ready for me when they didn’t even start the unloading of my furniture and didn’t know how long they would be therefor how much would be charged - but I knew dam well that 2 hours (rounded up) the day before of service, an overnight fee of $220 to store my furniture (which was there fault I had to end up doing that so I was going to dispute this anyway) but time they were “charging me for” which they didn’t even start when they gave me the bill after arriving that Saturday with my furniture and were being nasty about me trying to get the price down because it was some kind of insulting joke.. the guy “mike” agreed to $1000 which was still absurd but the movers kept saying “you’re just wasting your own time” and “well have to go back with your furniture” and so on. They ended up only taking my furniture off the truck and leaving it on the ground right outside my apartment building (because $1000 wasn’t “enough” to bring it up to the unit a few floors up even though had an elevator..) and they sneakily left after an hour and a half/under 2 hours again of service and kept the $1000! didn’t give me any receipt for the cash I gave them, the whole service (primarily Mike the ringleader who set up this scam BS) was a fraud. The movers even damaged some of my furniture. I tried to reach out to Mike who didn’t answer anymore except for when I asked him for his last name but he gave me a fake (he actually used the owners last name as his own “DelGuidice”. I called “the owner” ANTHONY DELGUIDICE of Excel who told me this guy, Mike, was already fired when he provided me the services he “lied about being from excel carriers" but no longer was and was pretending to still work for the company after "being fired" (which would be convenient for the owner if Mike committed this crime while working for Anthony since Anthony is responsible for who he hires, what they do and the jobs done in general) and that Mike had a long history of doing this (would rent his own truck and hire his own guys who he would split the cost with for doing the services out of pocket on the side). I am opening a HUGE investigation on not just Mike (who I’m close to finding with investigators) as well as the owner who I believe at the LEAST had SOME KNOWLEDGE of this going on since its no coincidence there are SO MANY AWFUL reviews on the COMPANY in GENERAL, that Mike provided a COMPANY CONTRACT/BILL, and which Anthony would not provide me with ANY POOF THAT MIKE HAD ALREADY BEEN FIRED, THAT ANTHONY CLAIMED TO HAVE "NO RECORD" OF THE JOB THAT HAD BEEN DONE AND BECAME SO DEFENSIVE AND NASTY WHEN I ASKED HIM FOR PROOF TO HELP ME PROVIDE THE COURT PROOF OF THIS WHOLE THING WHICH ANTHONY GOT NERVOUS ABOUT AND DIDNT WANT TO GET INVOLVED WITH (not even specifying “Mike” or whoever else worked there”. Im trying to get everyone else’s story if you don’t mind so I can build upon the already existing pattern I’ve noticed within both your story and mine as well as many others :(. Not fair you had to go through this and I’m shocked this company and or this person and even the owner have been allowed to continue doing what they’ve been doing and I’m going to make sure this guy MIKE gets locked away and can never “company” hop again and that Anthony loses his licenses as well for allowing this and not taking responsibility like a man or a real owner would. He’s just like the rest of them - scammers. The number of lies the “employees” (movers and Mike the one who set it all up and made the bill/so on) was astronomical - they only take cash but the contract says cards accepted or door to door delivery (not when they put my stuff outside and didn’t take it in because $1000.. yes $1000 wasn’t ENOUGH!?) They are such scum these people and I’m going to find out who at least the main guys are and assure they get the legal sentencing they have coming to them for not just my case but yours and everyone else too. Its unethical and ILLEGAL. To think someone can do this to another person (or THIS MANY OTHERS FOR THAT MATTER) is INSANE. The amount of time they have been doing this for and not paying the consequences is incredible.. I’m shocked that SO many reviews exists, all with such horrible and similar experiences (on this and other sites!) hasn’t sparked a red flag for anyone higher up who could or would investigate this further. Add to this currently ongoing investigation against the people involved with the company Excel Carriers (past, present "employees" and others who acted as employees but weren't and engaged in work that required certified, licensed (LLC) professionals who are trained and responsible and don't THREATEN THE CUSTOMER!) Any names sound familiar or any similar details from my story? or Names like Mike? “the company rep”, or movers David or Joey? Any contact with Anthony DelGuidice the owner? Document is, gather any other proof and report it to the following ill post below or in a separate post! Thanks for your time and lets all get the justice we deserve and the punishment these guys deserve for their crimes, lies and fraud!

Please run as far as possible to another company.

This is by far the worst company to do business with. In the beginning it was great. There is a great guy by the name Micheal whom is very warm and pleasant to speak to. but the Owner/ dispatcher is a complete **s hole, selfish, greedy, and absolutely do not care about his customers and employees. If you are hiring a moving company do you can reduce the stress level by sourcing it out to a moving company, Please love yourself and give it to another company. Going forward with this company will be your worst nightmare. Also, If they tell you you can pay on the spot, Please note, after your move they will demand payment is cash. They are absolutely the worst company to use. Please consider this as a warning.

Long-distance move from New Jersey to Maine

Excel Movers.

I was to receive my goods on June 1st 2013. Which was agreed  on by Mike. On May 31 st I called to see when they were arriving on the June 1st. I am now talking to a Dave. " OH WE NEVER DELIEVER ON A SATURDAY" I was pissed but Dave told they would be at my house  that following Monday. I call that Monday morning and they never even loaded my stuff  on the truck ' MIKE GOES ..OH YOUR IN YOUR HOUSE". Now I am told Tuesday morning around 9:00am. Never got to my house till around 10:30 am.  I am still missing my brand new  rug shampoo and my ourside hose reel and hose.  A few things were broken. Wet and looks like some kind of animal went thru some boxes also..It has been 13 days since they came to my house. And so far nothing has been returned to me..I would never tell anyone else to use them..they just plan sucked.

Double Charged.

I just wanted you to be aware of my experience. I went with Excel Moving and Storage Company, out of Englewood, NJ. They gave me a contract for $300. Included in the price was 1 truck, 3 men for 2 hrs @ 85 per hour, $170. Travel time $85, fuel and mileage $46. I called and asked would there be any additional charge for packing materials, Michael said no, it was so minimal, there would be no additional charge. To say the least my $300 job turned into $593.95. They double charged me for fuel and travel time. They charged me $116 for tape, $100 for 1 large and 2 small cardboard boxes ( to wrap china cabinet and glass shelves). Additional time for moving. My total charge for 2hrs working time and travel time was included in the original contract. I just wanted you to be aware of what is going on with the one company that I had to deal with. Oh, let's talk about payment. Michael said on the phone, I could pay cash, check or credit card for the balance. I wanted to pay cash, but since the price doubled, I didn't have the cash. I wrote a personal check. The driver called the boss, Anthony and he said he would not except a personal check. They would only accept cash, cashiers check or money order. I went to the bank and purchased a money order. I give it to the driver, he called the boss and the boss told the driver not to except the money order. The driver said if I didn't give him cash, he would leave my stuff on the front lawn. I told him to take the money order and leave the stuff on the front lawn. Don't use this company as they take advantage of people. Thank you for your time and consideration, .

Total scam, and the employees know it.

I talked to Michael a few weeks ago, who sounded like an honest guy.  He went on about how it's a family-owned business that focuses on its customers, and how everyone is military-affiliated.  He gave me a nice low quote of $380, and told me that he wouldn't charge me for packing materials.  I am used to moving companies lowballing quotes, so I figured the move would be more like $500.
On the day of the move, the movers arrived and packed all my stuff into the truck without saying a word.  After they had all of my items in the van, they told me it would be $800.  They claimed that I had an extra flight of stairs (2 sets of 3 steps on the walkway to the apartment), and that travel time was an hour to me (yeah, right, but I couldn't disprove this), an hour to my destination (which took me 30 minutes alongside them), and an hour back to the office (23 minutes on google maps).  They also charged me almost $100 for packing materials, which I was specifically told I was not going to be charged for.
It was a Sunday, but tried to call the office immediately to see if Michael was around, since he told me they work every day and who knows if he's around, right?  Or at least speak to someone.  A man picked up the 800 number that I called, and I kid you not, here was the conversation:
Man: Hello?
Me: Hi, is this Michael?
Man:  Yeah, Michael is in the office on Sundays.  He works 24 hours a day.
(At this point I wasn't sure if he was trying to be sarcastic or provide good customer service by contacting him..hey I'm on call on Sundays and it didn't seem possible that someone in customer service could open with such a snide comment)
Me: Ok thanks, can I talk to him?
Man: Sure, let me get you his personal cell phone number and his house address, too.  It's Sunday.  We're closed.
Me: Excuse me?  Who is this?
Man: The answering service.
Me: Ok..can you take a message then?
And I proceeded to give him my information, in total disbelief that someone was actually hired to talk to people like that.
After I argued a bit with the mover, I was able to get him down a bit by showing him that the travel time couldn't possibly be what he's trying to charge me for.  I still paid $708 on a $380 quote.
The mover also informed me that the man I spoke to was NOT an answering service.  It was the owner, Anthony, and that he's typically that rude to customers and doubly rude to his employees.  He also told us that our rep Michael causes customers to fight with him over the bill, because he always baits people with an extremely low quote.  Well shame on me for falling for it.
The bottom line is that nearly every review for this company is terrible, they have an F from the BBB because they don't even respond to complaints, and they stay in business because of stupid people like me that fall into their trap.  I should have looked before I agreed to this.
Don't use this company, don't fall for Michael's nice military guy act, and don't use any company that won't give you a contract with a maximum fee.  I'm sure "Answering Service" Anthony is in his jacuzzi, smelling my hard-earned cash as we speak.

Demanded.

Don't trust these guys. The salesman quoted me $250. Movers arrived on time but I called them twice to confirm. The movers are unprofessional and rude.Once everything was loaded on the truck they presented us with a bill for $811. They had charged us for their time to get to the pick up site plus tolls. I refused to pay that so I called the sales man Michael but owner picked up the call and he was also rude.I again refused and the driver said that the company is very strict and they could not go any lower than 600 which is overcharged a lot!!. My family scared as they were demanding money otherwise they will take the stuff to their office if I don't pay full. I will never use them again and I will not recommend anyone.

Poor.

They did nothing but lie to me the whole time! Michael's father Anthony is so rude that I don't know how they stay in business, it was the worst experience of my life! they came with the wrong truck the first day so we won't able to move so I was first given a price of 1070.00, but in order to move the next day the price went up to 2000.00!! I had no other choice at that time so I said yes I was dumb PLEASE,PLEASE don't use this company as a customer I was talked to like a piece of s--t and they answer their phone movers, not excel movers like they advertice, and when Anthny the owner ansewers he tells you he is the answering service which he is not, but the one thing he is is RUDE!!I would never tell any one to use this company and I plan on taking this further, when I get my new phone number to my new house I will give it out and if anyone would like to talk to me I would be more then happy to tell my story! The only good thing I can say is the help was great, but the lies and they way they bait you into paying more and the way you are talked to from the owner is awful!! I am taking this as far as I can even If I have to call fox news with my story, no one should be treated and talk to the way I was. They say family owner well I would not want to be a member!! I have respect for people that don't!!

Terrible and misleading service contract!

Very disappointing poor customer service and very misleading sales and Quote information. Never been soo poorly treated by a service or a sale. The salesman was very dishonest and in the end rude and hurtful. the movers themselves were nice and professional but under the power of the salesman, that means nothing unfortunately because there is no reasoning with movers when they are told what to do by the owner aka salesman! Worst moving experience ever! I don't recommend this company to my worst enemy!

Long-distance move from Connecticut to Florida

Liars, crooks,dishonest.

I juat used this company to moce from CT to FL and they are the biggest scam artists EVER!! I had a quote in writing of $1285.00 and I was assured tht I wouldn't be charged anymore. They took $675 down and packed up the apartment. They get to FL and have a balance of $2,460.00.. So the total move price is now $3,100.00. I can't believe companies like this are still in business. They then thretened to take all my stuff back up to CT and charge me storage for it. I had to call the police and everything. I ended up paying $3,100 for a moce I was promised would only cost me $1,285. To top it all off some guy from that company called my wife and cursed her out not only once but three times. These guys were so rude and unprofessional with all their name calling . And if the money issue wasn't enough they picked up my stuff April 22nd and was promised it to be in FL on april 26th. I am now getting my stuff today May 5th. So not only were they liars, rude, and were late..Total crooks don't ever use this company!! I knew I shouldn't have but I did ANYWAY AND NOW IM REGRETTING IT BIG TIME!!
