Diamond Relocation

If i could give a -100 i would. Diamond relocators ade the worst company ever..ive moved 7 times and never anything missing or broken. This company lied and took 5 days to arrive at which point items are damaged snashed and worst part missing .. im finding more and more every week as im still trying to make room in my storage and find items that aren't there like my painting ladder, a projector, tons of condiments from kitchen, bathroom items. All things you think, oh ya hummm where is that and you go looking and it's nowhere. Also they loaded and offloaded without permission and hense why everything was lost or broken. They told me my stuff was old and not worth money. Well you go buy a dining room set and buffet today that weigts a ton and tell me what you'd pay for it

Do not go near mark, or steven and especially grace the most ignorant of them all.

Need to share my experience with Diamond Relocation Inc. for a move from Ontario to Quebec in late January 2025. After receiving many quotes from different supplier, I selected this company because of their very good reputation based on customer feedback on records. Per the sale agent, the official agreement was his quote with all the details about the move. However, the truck driver made me signed a document after loading the truck, I found out later that it was a contract and per this contact, I was obliged to pay their invoice (credit card not accepted for payment) before unloading the truck at the new location. It has been a very stressful situation to handle.

Now concerning the quality of the move, most furniture’s were damaged with severe scratched, the worst one was serious physical damaged to the freezer, but it was still working. The company has insurance coverage with a deductible of $350. For peace of mind, I decided not to exercise this option.

This company should NOT exist. They are a bunch of SCAMMERS. The business model runs like this;

- You will receive persistent calls and messages to confirm the size of your load and other details.

- You will be asked to make a $200 deposit

- If you’re lucky, they’ll pick up your items and that’s where your MISERY begins.

They have MULTIPLE pending ISSUES against them. Read on Reddit. They are the biggest moving SCAM in all of Canada. Do not entrust your items with these guys! They picked up my items in Calgary and promised to deliver in August. They never showed up and never answered their calls. The coward MARK RUSSO will put you on hold for hours and ignore you completely once your items are in their custody. There is Grace, Linda - they just use a bunch of fake names lol. They EXTORTED money from me and I still had to DRIVE all the way to Toronto to pick up items that were scheduled to be delivered to Ottawa on August 30. No refunds, no discounts, no apologies, nothing! They have NO CARE for your items. Half my items were destroyed and damaged. If you want your peace of mind, DO NOT go near this company.

The WAREHOUSE ADDRESS in Toronto is 171 ambassador drive unit 1 Mississauga Ontario

L5T 2J1. Door 1 in the back. If you have items that are being held illegally, go there and grab your stuff!

Visit the association of movers of Canada, or Canada Gov. website. KNOW your mover. It is important.

-Who is Mark? - check on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn. You will not find him.

-Phone the company: they have no professional voicemail

-Do you have a solid contract with your mover? In which province will you file against them if you need to?

Remember: they will leave with your most personal belonging, and once they leave, you have no control over them.

When they arrived for the pick up, they asked for an extra $100 to take the snowblower. Etransfer to an email address I didn't know. When they left, I felt so insecure that I asked them to come back. They asked that I etransfered $2000 for them to come back. I coulnd't so I kept going with the shipment. The shipment arrived but they told two weeks and it took a month and a half. Plus, valuable stuff was broken. Lots of stuff missing.

There are some accredited company, but they are not part of them. They are actually identified as a very poor quality company on the Canadian Mover Association website. I spent over 40 nights wondering if my belogning would ever arrive. I had to take anxiety pills, for the first time of my life.

Know your mover. This company is not worth the trouble it will get you. Mark is responsive and I know it is reassuring and easy to chose this company because they call you and they don't let you go. But make sure you chose an ACCREDITED COMPANY, which THEY ARE NOT.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3000

Booked move from Mtl-Calgary (small one Bdrm apt) - 7 days before the move, I called to confirm - I was told: "all good". Called again, 24 hrs before the move, told again: "all good - dispatch to call back later with exact time to expect movers". Dispatch called 20 hrs before the move to inform us that "they cannot proceed with the move - truck was broken". They had no alternative or back-up plan to offer. I was left stranded. I had to vacate the apartment with no support from this company. I tried to contact Mark R. who was ghosting my calls. Did not return my messages. At this point, I was just hoping for some kind of support. He is quick to take deposit and sweet talk you. Again, trust me!!! These people are not Professionals. They should be out of business. I don't understand their 4.6 rating. Must be employees writing reviews.

Terrible Service – Do Not Recommend

This company is an absolute nightmare to deal with. They quoted me one price, then ended up charging $200 more than agreed! Don’t fall for their sweet-talking sales pitch when they give quotes—they’ll hit you with hidden charges later. On top of that, they deliver ridiculously late, and one of their drivers even hit my car and ran away! Every interaction I had with them was rude and unprofessional. Their staff isn’t just rude—they’re outright cheap and disrespectful. Save yourself the headache and choose a company that values honesty, integrity, and its customers.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!

I hired them to move from Ontario to Alberta, double the cost of what I was quoted. We had a scheduled delivery date which was critical for my situation and when they failed to show up they blamed me for “not understanding the moving business”

They ended up showing up 3 weeks later and refused to compensate me in any way.

There was a lot of damage to my belongings.

Mark who I spoke with in the beginning who promised me great service would not answer my calls.

This was the worst experience with a service provider in my life.

I had an amazing experience with Diamond Relocation! As a first-time mover, I was impressed with their responsiveness to my initial quote and scheduling, even accommodating a reschedule to a week earlier. On moving day, they arrived right on time, worked quickly, and carefully padded and protected large items like our couch, dressers, and TV. Great value for the service provided. I’ve already recommended them to friends and family and will definitely use them again for my next move!

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3100

I called Diamond Relocation based on a friend’s recommendation, and they did not disappoint! Four men and two trucks arrived and made quick work of our move. They were professional, courteous, and right on time. We moved from a 4-bedroom home of over 20 years, so there was plenty to handle, but the team was efficient and careful. Nothing was broken, and they packed and unpacked everything with care, placing items exactly where we marked. The office was also responsive and accurate in coordinating over the phone. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone needing a local move.

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2100

As a contractor, I often need movers to help my customers clear out furniture before I start my work. I’ve been recommending Diamond Relocation for a while now, and they’ve been excellent! They’re always on time, handle everything carefully, and work efficiently. I used to refer another company, but my customers were often dissatisfied with their speed and professionalism. Since I switched to Diamond Relocation, I haven’t received a single complaint. I’m really glad I found them!

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: $800

Diamond Relocation were fantastic! They were punctual, professional and went absolutely gentle with our furniture. We had previously used another mover and they damaged our furniture and the walls, this did not happen with them. Our belongings were well packaged and safely transferred to our new home. They also helped with arranging the furniture and reassembled the pieces that needed it. Special thanks to Mark in the office for making the whole process smooth and organized!

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1700

I’ve moved many times for work over the past 20+ years. Even though the company always paid for premium moving services, Diamond Relocation is by far the best I’ve ever used! The crew I had was punctual, professional, courteous, and very pleasant. They arrived exactly on time and got straight to work. Everything was carefully and neatly wrapped, then quickly loaded onto the truck. Unpacking and unloading were just as fast, with absolutely no damage to any of my belongings. I was stressed before the move, but this crew made the whole experience completely hassle free. I’m extremely grateful and a very happy customer. Highly recommend!

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3350

I was looking for a moving company that could handle my son's move from his apartment back home quickly. After calling 3 or 4 companies, I had the great pleasure of speaking with Mark. Not only was she quick and efficient in providing a quote, but he was also very transparent about the entire process. The crew was professional, friendly, and easy to get along with, and most importantly, they got things done! Thank you all so much for making this move quick and completely stress-free.
