Terrible Service – Do Not Recommend

This company is an absolute nightmare to deal with. They quoted me one price, then ended up charging $200 more than agreed! Don’t fall for their sweet-talking sales pitch when they give quotes—they’ll hit you with hidden charges later. On top of that, they deliver ridiculously late, and one of their drivers even hit my car and ran away! Every interaction I had with them was rude and unprofessional. Their staff isn’t just rude—they’re outright cheap and disrespectful. Save yourself the headache and choose a company that values honesty, integrity, and its customers.

I recently used Diamond Relocation to move me from Halifax to Mississauga and all i can say is that it was an amazing experience!

Not only were the movers on time and professional they were very helpful with my requests.

The customer service was exceptional. Special thanks to Mark who was always available to answer any questions and keep me updated on my move. His clear communication made it a stress-free experience.

This was my second time using Diamond Relocation, and I came back because they were so great the first time—and they didn’t disappoint! They were easy to schedule, arrived right on time, and worked quickly while still being careful with everything. The moving team was incredibly efficient, hardworking, and kind throughout the whole process. It’s such a relief to have movers who are not only professional but also friendly and reliable. I’ll definitely be using them again in the future!

Diamond Relocation were fantastic! They were punctual, professional and went absolutely gentle with our furniture. We had previously used another mover and they damaged our furniture and the walls, this did not happen with them. Our belongings were well packaged and safely transferred to our new home. They also helped with arranging the furniture and reassembled the pieces that needed it. Special thanks to Mark in the office for making the whole process smooth and organized!

I’ve moved many times for work over the past 20+ years. Even though the company always paid for premium moving services, Diamond Relocation is by far the best I’ve ever used! The crew I had was punctual, professional, courteous, and very pleasant. They arrived exactly on time and got straight to work. Everything was carefully and neatly wrapped, then quickly loaded onto the truck. Unpacking and unloading were just as fast, with absolutely no damage to any of my belongings. I was stressed before the move, but this crew made the whole experience completely hassle free. I’m extremely grateful and a very happy customer. Highly recommend!

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3350

I was looking for a moving company that could handle my son's move from his apartment back home quickly. After calling 3 or 4 companies, I had the great pleasure of speaking with Mark. Not only was she quick and efficient in providing a quote, but he was also very transparent about the entire process. The crew was professional, friendly, and easy to get along with, and most importantly, they got things done! Thank you all so much for making this move quick and completely stress-free.

This company's done bad things in the past like:

1. Charging way above their intial quote and threaten the customers that they'd throw out their boxes if they didn't pay this new quote. The boxes would be held hostage at their warehouse for weeks and weeks on end.

2. Not returning the deposit when they're the one that cancelled.

3. Missing and/or damaged boxes upon delivery w/o proper compensation.

The police were involved for many of these instances but the company would hang up on them too and they would generally be very difficult.

My valuable item of ~$2500 was not delivered and I was not compensated for the loss at all. Be aware of this scam company!!

They charges 2x quote and held items hostage until paid. Lost a large valuable item! (how as it went on the truck). Broke several items including electronics and then would not refund as they claim refunds are based on weight only .60 per pound and unless the weight was more then 583 pounds they will provide no refund. Dispite promising me they had insurance for items when quoted. Run and spread the word.

Worst moving company I have ever dealt with! Please spread the word and save others the trouble.

I would strongly warn anyone considering this moving company to proceed with extreme caution.

I was initially promised delivery of my household belongings within 7–10 days. That timeline was not met, and since then I have been given multiple new delivery dates that were also not honored. My belongings have now been in their possession for over 100 days.

Communication has been extremely concerning. I have experienced repeated misinformation from the sales team, calls being disconnected during conversations, and ongoing assurances that did not reflect reality. After realizing the situation, I requested the return of my belongings rather than continued transport. I was then informed that I would be charged additional significant fees simply to have my own items unloaded and returned.

Based on my experience, Mark lied to get the sale - he is just as guilty as the company. They all know this is going on and will say whatever it takes to get your business. Mark showed me a fake website with great reviews when I raised concerns and then proceeded to tell me that was not their website. Nothing, he stated was true and unfortunately, I now how to spend time going to court. I would urge potential customers to carefully research this company, confirm delivery timelines in writing, and review contracts and business history thoroughly before committing.

I have now had to hire a lawyer and file in Alberta just to get a resolution because they continue to lie. I have travelled back and forth over 4 times because I don't want to replace items when they have told me my stuff is on it's way. This has been extremely stressful, affected my business and my ability to move into my home. This is very unfortunate however they have forced my hand to take further action.

I cannot recommend this company.

Would give no stars if possible! Family member moving to my city. Hired movers to move from out of province. I was secondary contact I received one call, asking for full payment before truck could leave Ontario. Payment forwarded immediately. Truck was due to arrive the following week. Here we sit at 130 days WITH NOTHING!! No contents and now ignored communications. Lawyer has been retained and they are being ignored as well. Company is a scam, next week delivery should never turn into 130 days and this mess.

Worst moving service ever. The “sales manager” Mark committed to a pick up time on my moving day. The mover called me prior my moving day to a completely different time frame. There are hidden fees and the pick up movers were not really professional when moving and packing my items. They also asked for “e-transfer for a final payment as they don’t take credit card for move that’s over 1000 dollar. I can’t schedule my delivery date and time and they just decided to show up in the delivery address with my broken marble table. Mark mention they have moving insurance before I decided to go with them but now they just completed disappearing on me as the irresponsible sales manager claimed ‘he did not move my table” and no one get back to me to pay me back my broken furniture.

Pick on June 20 was fine, drop off however was horrible. The company has TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION and they do not answer their phones. We were told it would take 10 days and our truck would arrive July 1-3. Because we persistently called and texted and got through a couple of times to find out our things wouldn’t arrive until July 7-9, then it was July 13-14, then July 18-20. The truck finally showed up on July 16. If the experience wasn’t horrible enough, the drop off movers were the absolute worst. They refused to move any boxes from the first floor and refused take off their dirty shoes. They soiled our brand new carpets leading all the way to the 3rd floor! Now we have to have our carpets cleaned. They were also careless...boxes that were labeled fragile were not handled with care resulting in broken cups, dishes and office chair. Our round (very expensive) dining table was rolled into the house rather than being carried. Our walls have dents, scratches and dirty hand marks all over the house. They had no regard for our things, they were rude and really didn’t give sh*t that they were damaging our property.

As previous reviews stated, you can not pay your final bill by credit card. Which is absolutely ridiculous. The accounting department also had the audacity to reach out to us numerous times for final payment when it was impossible to get a hold of someone who could provide a status update of our belongings.

We also, as another reviewer wrote, incurred hundreds of dollars in extra expenses for our family of 4 (with 2 young kids) on air mattresses, bedding, clothes, household supplies (plates, cups, utensils) and living expenses due to the delay in delivery.

Our final bill was over double what was quoted.

I would advise you not to book with this company. They were a nightmare to deal with and should re-evaluate the way they do business.

Mark was great to get the move.In saskatchewan they came a day late with no phone call. the man asked for a tip.He complained about the elevator.10 days later called to deliver in ontario. 2 hours late some scratches on furniture and a missing adjustable bed frame worth $650. after a week being ignored and hung up on by Mark I was told they cannot find it.Sorry for your inconvenience.I asked for a etransfer and Janet said read your contract.It has a $350 deductible plus >60 cents per lb so You are in a neg so you do not get a refund. Will I hire these fraudster again NO WAY. How can they lose 118 lb bed frame other than stealing it. I am not impressed.
