From start to finish it was fantastic. The saleswoman was very patient in my moving date changing again and again due mainly to incompetent solicitors. Three people showed up on a Sunday to pack up most of my items. They did not charge extra for this and in six hours they packed a 4 bedroom house. On the actual moving day they arrived at 7am and was loaded and left by 12:30pm. The poor guys had to wait at the new property for over three hours as the solicitors were very slow to complete their duties and I didn't receive the keys until after 4pm. The movers never once complained about the wait or about the fact that it was well after 8pm before they were able to leave. In moving the stuff out of the old house and into the new house they never once hit any walls or dropped any items. They treated my stuff as if it were their own. In fact they probably took greater care than even I would have if I had moved it myself! They worked hard, efficiently and were always courteous and polite. Getting a four bedroom house into a three is not easy, but they made it look so. If you need a mover, your look is over as these guys are the best I have ever seen or used. If only I could find a solicitor this good.

We moved 5 minutes up the road from a house with 4 storeys, and some quite tight spaces. Due to the amount of stuff, and that we required a packing service, and the need to have our kids around in the evenings, we were advised to move out one day, and in the next day. The move out took from 7am to 3pm and the move in the next day took from 12.30 to around 5pm. City removals stored our belongings for us overnight, and we were able to have a stress-free evening staying at an overnight rental near our new house followed by a stress-free morning while we were waiting for keys the next morning. This made the move much easier. The team were very good, though they did make one mistake not bringing enough wardrobe boxes. They did pay for pressing of the items that required it afterwards though, so in the end, all was fine. The team worked really hard on the 2 hottest days of the year - or even last few years - and did a fantastic job for a very reasonable price.

I have to start this review by saying just how professional, hardworking and well-mannered the crew that did our removal was.Everything was handled with great care and the dismantling and reassembling was done with so much speed and precision as if these guys have done this all their life.
Also even now, a week after my move  I am still amazed at how quick they packed our property.We had a 4 bedroom house with 4 people living inside (2 big and 2 small) and they packed all this in about 7 hours.Truly amazing and it just goes to show what a difference a team of professionals does.I can safely say that should I have attempted to pack myself it would have taken me 1 month to pack everything. 
Communication with the office was also very good with e-mails answered back very quickly. Also, they have organized all the parking arrangements with the local council.
Coming back to the removal team they have also used special covers for our furniture.It was really nice to see them placing our mattresses and sofas in protective packaging.Just how the lady who surveyed our property said they would do.
The whole removal lasted around 12 hours.They started at 07:00 am and finished around 19:00.They worked very efficiently and without breaks apart from the occasional cup of tea.
Also, they were very considerate with our needs as knowing we had a small baby the cat was the first thing they reassembled at our new house.
All our furniture was placed in the relevant rooms according to our instructions.
Ahh.. I almost forgot.. just to give you an idea of how these guys pack, I think we ended up with around 25 bin bags full of tissue paper after we have unpacked all the kitchen boxes.. impressive and reassuring. 
In the end, there is really nothing bad I can say about this organization as both the removal crew and the office were very professional and organized.

I just wanted to thank City Removals and Storage for doing a fantastic job of packing and moving the contents of my flat.  Throughout the process from getting the quote to the final move, the staff have been amazing, very friendly, helpful and have made my move across London easy and hassle-free.  My move was quite complicated as I had the contents of my place being transported to two different addresses.  City removals took this in their stride and could not have been more obliging in all aspects of the move.  During the move, there were a number of complications with dismantling my beds but the guys went beyond the call of duty in ensuring that my beds were dismantled and put together appropriately.  All the packing was excellent and everything got to its destination intact and labelled.  I really can't thank City removals enough for all their help and would have no hesitation in recommending this company. Thank you!

City Removals and Storage were absolutely amazing. The guys turned up on time, went straight to work and completed our whole move in a day. Very, very impressed. They were polite, straightforward and very accurate with their timings and cost estimates.

We recently used City Removals for a move from London to Hastings and they made they whole experience a painless procedure. Our final completion date changed and they were obliging and when the day for the move came we needed an extra van which was arranged with no fuss and was there within an hour. We booked the complete a packing service which I would thoroughly recommend and not 1 item has been damaged. The team of 4 men were professional and willing to go the extra mile even after a very long. 15 hour day, absolutely nothing was too much trouble.  I would have no hesitation in using them again and in fact would probably opt for their unpacking service.  Great company!

Very impressed with the service provided by this company.I have picked them after reading all these reviews about them on this website.Nothing was too much trouble for them.Nicola the lady that did our home survey was also in the office and coordinated everything and promptly answerred all the questions we had.
The packing service was exceptionally well done.They did not cut any corners, wrapping all our fragile stuff, our pictures and mirrors.Their staff is also a delight to deal with being very polite and professional.
On the removal day itself everything was done rapidly, without conplaining and extremely organized and professional.They used special covers for many of our belongings.Also we had quite a lot dismantle and reassemble but again this proved no problem for them.I was especially impressed with the guy who was packing our stuff into their truck.The guy was a genius.He was covering everything with blankets, securing everything with straps..etc..etc, and arranging our belongings as if he was playing Lego.
Now to the part that impressed me and my wife the most.
At the end of the job, one of the crew, Silviu came and informed us that our Apple Imac was dropped being damaged.He explained that they will take this away and provide a replacement within 2 weeks.The next day I also had a call from the office and they apologized for the unfortunate event and informed us that our computer was already deliverred to Apple for investigations.
Like Silviu said our computer was with us again the following week..
I knkw things like these should not happen but we have understood this was just an accident.What mattered most is how the company chose to handle this.impressive customer service.
It is now obvious that their crews are trained to handle this events when they happen and they as company take responsability and don t run away from it.
All in all a very good experience.Even though they broke our computer our whole move was conducted extremely professional and also they handled the situation with our computer being very honest all the time.This is why I recommend this company and also gave them 5 stars.
