City-Removals and Storage

Excellent removals service

City removals were fantastic for us throughout. The detailed video survey gave us confidence they knew what they needed to do. The flexibility over packing options - we went for the fragile only option and nothing was broken during the move. They took the furniture apart and put it all back together so well. The moving team were friendly and efficient, made the whole experience stress free for us and much easier than we thought it would be. Fantastic, can't recommend them enough.

Excellent service.

We had a very good experience with City-Removals and Storage moving from a two-bedroom flat to a house. The saleslady was very professional and helpful from the start offering two options in order to keep the costs down. Our move was stress-free, fast and efficient. We very much appreciated the team's flexibility and can-do attitude especially when they were struggling with our sofa in the staircase.. which they did manage to get to the lounge in the end!

We won't hesitate to recommend their services in the future.

Great service and good value.

About 2 weeks have gone since we have moved but only now I managed to find the time to write a well deserved review for this company.

Everyone involved has been incredibily helpfull and polite. They managed to find a solution to any problem that arose. Also they office has been wonderfull in helping me change my move day several times due to lousy solicitors.

The crew has also been unbelievable in dealing with me and my wife at our worst.

They packed everything with the utmost care.Dismantling and reassembeling also was a piece of cake. The guys definitely were extremely experienced as I watched them move several big pieces of furniture through tight corners without great difficulty.Everything was a breeze.

i fon t know what else to say apart from the fact that we were very very happy with how our move went along and I would use again and recommend to anyone.

Studio flat removal - Central London.

We lived in a large studio flat and had a LOT of stuff to move to our new place. The City Removal quote was by far the most competitive and the two guys arrived early on the day. They worked incredibly hard and we didn't have to lift a finger. They dismantled a large IKEA storage unit, took the arms off our sofa and took the feet off our armchairs so they would fit through the front door of the new flat. They then rebuilt everything in record time. They were polite, friendly and didn't stop until they were done. This was by far the best-value part of the whole moving process and I will definitely use City Removals again.

Punctual, professional, excellent value!

I contacted City Removals because of the positive reviews. Got a competitive quote. The guys were polite, pleasant, arrived on time and moved our stuff swiftly. They took care of the items that were fragile and nothing was broken. They covered the mattress and sofa at pick up location and laid cover on the floor by the entrance to avoid markings on the carpet at destination. Communications with the office prior to the move was excellent too. I'd use them again.

City Removals.

I am not able to provide a fully positive review. I was very optimistic after the first phase of my move - packing and removal to storage. This phase was very efficient.

I found a treasured piece of furniture had a broken handle after moving my furniture from storage to my new home. I know it was broken during the move because I found the broken piece in the hall. I have also found that City Removals have given me the gift of cockroaches. To date I have found 3. The house I moved to was given a deep clean before my furniture arrived and there was no sign of cockroaches. I definitely did not have cockroaches before my move and so they must have hitched a ride from the storage facility. City Removals have responded by saying that they did not introduce the cockroaches. They have pest removers treat the facility every week. I do not find this convincing and therefore have to have them a poor review and rating.

Effortless removals.

I used City Removals when moving from a shared house to a flat and taking a large bed, chest of drawers, two side tables and a big TV plus over a dozen large boxes.

They arrived promptly at 7am, had everything in the van by 7:30, crossed London, and had the furniture and boxes in place at the new flat by 9am.

By far the least stressful move I've ever experienced. In addition, the head office were very helpful when answering my questions prior to the move, nothing was too much trouble.

I highly recommend them.

Moving in NW3 London.

From the visit by the estimator until the move was complete this was a stress free experience. The quotation was very competitive. The company arranged parking suspension for the day required. Packing was carried out on the day before and the 2 man team arrived at the agreed time and were very courteous, careful an efficient. Again on the day of removal the 3 man team were there waiting until the agreed time. They worked very quietly and efficiently to carry all the boxes and pieces from a third floor flat to the house a few miles away. They worked diligently throughout the day and completed the move with their van in 3 trips. Nothing was broken or damaged and all dismantling and re-assembly of furniture trouble free. Could not praise the team enough.

If you are considering a move then look no further but contact Alexander at City and he will ensure you have a trouble free move.

Simply Great!

I used City Removals to move a 1 bed flat from W1 to W9. The final price £995 included: packing services (including materials), the removal, unpacking as well as two professional cleanings (the old flat and the new one). The company not just met, but well exceeded my expectations in terms of service, punctuality, professionalism, staff friendliness and communication. They did what I thought would be impossible: taking the stress out of moving! The two crews (one for moving and one for cleaning) arrived on time, were very polite and spoke perfect English. While the one team was packing the old flat, the other team was cleaning the new flat. I only had to show them once what things were going to stay in the old flat, and they made no mistakes at all. When in doubt, as I told them, and same with unpacking, they called me to make sure they got it right. All in all, for any of my next moves or for any of my friends or colleagues, I would recommend City Removals with absolutely no hesitation. They are simply the best moving company I have ever, and probably will ever use. All my stuff arrived safely, very well packaged, was unpacked very efficiently, even without my direct guidance,…

Best moving company I have ever used!

From the the appraisal process through to the moving day, City Removals were helpful, attentive, professional and prompt. They quoted us a very reasonable price and there were no unexpected costs. We had the packing service and the team were efficient, thoughtful and careful. We had no breakages and no damage to furniture. On moving day, the team were prompt and again, very efficient and very professional. It was the least stressful move I have ever done and I will most definitely recommend and use their service again. The entire process was smooth sailing. Thank you City Removals for being fantastic!!

Great service.

My experience was very positive from start to finish. The lady who came out to do the estimate was punctual and friendly also managing to fit around my difficult schedule. We had both packing and removals service - the men arrived on time for both and were very courteous and efficient. They also reassembled furniture in our new house - including a bed that had not previously been assembled. I was very impressed at how quick they were. They were also incredibly good value for money - the quote was less than half that of another highly rated firm but the service was superb.
